Nico loves peanut butter, and these Bil-Jac "PB-nanas" treats quickly became his favorites. First, shipping of this product was excellent, arriving within three days of the order date. I was admittedly sceptical about its effectiveness, however, especially after giving it an initial test away from our dog, Lucie. It appears not to have much "umph" power at all! Add that to the fact that Lucie is a miniature min pin, a high-strung breed and very territorial. We've tried just about everything except a shock collar, and nothing seemed to be able to curb her frantic barking whenever anyone or anything invaded her "space." The Pet Convincer has been a complete surprise though! After only a few days of consistent use, and following the directions given, Lucie almost always stops her annoying behavior. We don't often have to even use the device itself anymore, a sharp one-word command is usually sufficient to get the job done. It is quite comical, however, to see her reaction when we do pull out the Pet Convincer for a little refresher course. She takes one look at it, stops dead in her tracks, turns tail and heads for the other room. All in all I would say this product is worth the try for the money. Seems to deliver as promised!

I was watching Caesar Milan one day explaining that, as a child, his father taught him to train dogs using only two commands. The first was a "kissing" sound which means "come". I have bought 100's of items from Amazon over the years and never written a review. But this product is so amazing that I had to share with my fellow dog lovers. I do dog rescue so in addition to the 4 dogs I have there are always 1 or 2 others coming and going. When one starts barking they ALL start barking. I have tried the citronella collar, the vibrating color, the snap and shush from a famous dog whisperer and nothing worked, at least for very long. But this Pet Convincer stops them in their tracks. After the first can of co2 ran out, I bought refills from CO2 Cartridge 12 Pack by MOSA. I did not screw the first one in very tightly and it went off continually. My dogs ran to back room and stayed there until i tightened it up. I highly recommend this product as a humane and safe way to train your dogs not to bark at every person or squirrel that gets within their eye sight. I have begun to use it to stop them from jumping up on people. Now all I have to do is pick up the thing and they stop. Saves on refills lol.

Not convinced. I used the "pet corrector" before and it helped to train my dogs-which is what prompted me to look for a reusable/refillable option in the first place. Research led me to the Pet Convincer II (If this is the 2nd design they created-I can't even imagine what the 1st design was like). This is badly designed and made with cheap materials. The bottom rubber grip just slides around C02 cartridge-it does not connect to the trigger. Here's the Bottom Line: A BIKE TIRE Inflator does EXACTLY the same thing (makes a compressed air "whoosh" sound) and its half the price of this piece of junk! Literally. I returned the Pet Convincer and purchased a bike tire inflator off Amazon from Genuine Innovations: Around $12.00, shipped in a matter of days, AND the one I bought accepts BOTH threaded and non-threaded C02 cartridges in 4 different sizes (12, 16, 20, and 25g)!! Oh yeah... and if you have a bike-it pumps up your tires (both the fat and skinny tips) too!

These pads have 4 small and not very sticky tabs, not very effective. They also don't seem to be as absorbent as others that I've purchased. I will not be getting them again. They took the full amount of time to receive. I purchase a lot of things on line, and I hardly ever find that it takes that long. So, overall, not such a great experience.

Great Crate for the price, especially with the free shipping. The ease of sliding locks makes it easier to take apart to clean and with crate training puppies this helps alot! The door latch feature is also a major plus, just pull up on either left or right doorpost knobs. Some of my crafty puppies were onto the old crate door latches and were occassionally working their door unlatched, noway with these ones! They even come with attachable slide stops for added security when using carrier for longdistance traveling. And as an added bonus they have and optional nylon grommet straps to secure it in your vehicle.

The Firstrax 19-inch carrier is well constructed but if you have a dog or cat weighing much over 12 lbs. or so you might want to get something larger. It might as well have been a sardine can as far as my 17 lb. cat was concerned. Not gonna work.

We bought this for our cat as we are going on a very long car trip, it's too big but it is a very nice carrier. The only thing I find confusing are the dimensions.

On the label it states: 32 L x 22 W x 23 H

When I measure it I come up with 30 L x 18.5 W x 27 H (not including the edge around the door that makes it 33 L)

It is very tall, not sure what the confusion is about the height on the label.

Anyway, it is a very well made carrier however we will return it and get something smaller.

I just purchased a replacement collar again and for the last time. These collars only seem to be effective for six months or so. After that they suck up the battery life in an amount of days. Also, the static correction level is low. Add in the fact that one will be purchasing batteries indefinitely, this is a no go. After this one craps out on me, as it will, I will no longer be purchasing products from Humane Contain.

The system works, but I have large golden retrievers, and at a full speed run will pass right over the wire without much bother.

I have fed my dogs these for several years and never have had a problem with them. My one dog is 17 and i have given these to him all his life. I also have 2 yorkies and 2 maltachons they are 2 to 5 years in age and never had any problems with these treats. I know some people have had some problems with chicken jerkey treats but i never have and they all love them. Maybe some dogs are sensitive to them even as some people are with certain foods but as i said no problems here i will continue to buy them.

Dogtek Additional Dog Collar For Electronic Dog Fence System

I rated this a three only based on the size.

We returned the Dogtek system for another with smaller device on the collar.

works very well but the collar tends to die after a year and you have to have dogtek replace it. There are 2 things I do not care for about the collar

1st is that the internal beeper to warn the dog is so faint that the dogs do not hear it most of the time especially when they are excited about something on the other side.

The 2nd thing that i do not like about the collar is the battery and it's life. The battry is a CR2 and there is no way on earth the battery lasts 6 months like dogtek advertises, beprepaired to replace it every month and CR2 batteries are not cheap.

We added a dog and needed to add a collar for our Dogteck Electronic Fence. The first dog is medium sized and the color fits well. This new dog is small (though not as small as a toy) and the color is very big on her. Be careful with the batteries. They seem to work they way loose and no longer make contact. All in all, I'm satisfied that I made the right choice. Oh, and changing the batteries is a hassle. You have to loosen the collar from the back of the battery cover and then work four very small screws which will require a small Phillips style screwdriver.

I bought this collar for a very stubborn, and very small, dog breed. The collar looks enormous on her, but whenever we train the dog with it she is a perfectly obedient canine. It doesn't seem to release as nicely as some of the other collars we have seen at obedience class, but it works well enough for our purposes.

The forks come blunted so they don't pierce the skin, but I took care of that quick enough using a simple sharpening stone to hone a razor sharp point. Now every time I walk the dog, it looks like a bloody scene from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The blood is a bit messy to clean up, but it is well worth it to have a terrified albeit well-behaved animal.

I have a rescued alley cat, and after we got him fattened up and happy, he has a tendency to go crazy whenever he hears any kind of noise. Living in an apartment, the poor thing always had "crazy kitty eyes", and would freak out and scratch anything in sight.

seems to be well designed. You can use vibration or shock and you can set the shock from 1 to 100. Most of the time I use the vibrate and my boston terrier instantly responds. Now I can't live without it.

Our chihuaua is only 5 lbs. It took a great deal of searching to find a collar that was not rated for 10 lb+ dogs. with the vibrate mode we rarely have to shock him. The vibrate is all it takes. Highly recommend for very small dogs.

The dog trainer arrived and I had it setup and running within minutes. The product appears to be very well made and durable.

I purchased this trainer to replace one that had broken (completly different brand, type) so my dog (2 YO Rottwieller) had no problems adapting to this unit. The reward or warning tone is not a tone on this unit, it is a vibrate warning. My dog had no problems adjusting to this type.

PROS: Made in the USA, durable looking unit (will know more after extended use), easy to use and good documentation.

It took a few months but our two chihuahuas are getting the hang of it. We rang it everytime we went outside and once they stopped being scared of it and ringing it themselves we quickly praise them, and take them out (even though most of the time they didn't have to use the bathroom). I think they were just getting a kick out of making us take them outside. However, now that the novelty has worn off 3/4 of the time they ring it it's to use the bathroom and that beats them using the potty pad in the bathroom.

I've had the Alpha for about a week now, been out 4 times with it. Initially I like the unit. I had a tritronics G2 Upland exp with a beeper and liked it but in the thick woods especally hunting grouse there were quite a few times I lost track of my dog for awhile, she can get out of hearing range very quickly. I like the peace of mind I get from the Alpha knowing where the dog is and I can actually leave the dog hunt better rather than calling her back so I know where she is. I havn't got used to holding the handheld unit yet to see where the dog has gone. Everything has worked as advertised so far with no problems.That being said there are a few things I would change. One thing is the dog alerts I have setup to tell me when she,s on point. It takes about 15 seconds after she goes on point before I get an alert, and I only get one alert no matter how long she is on point. I guess I kind of miss the beeper with my old unit although it could be annoying when she was hunting close. I don't like the charging adapter for the TT 10 collar, sometimes it doesn't make contact until you wiggle it a littleit could of been designed better especially for the price of the unit. Garmin is a good name and I have 2 other gps units by garmin and I like them but thier website sucks, it freezes, is hard to navigate. Tritronics, IMHO is the best name in the dog traning arena and these 2 companys worked together on this unit. I got this unit on a 30 day trial bases, at this time I am probably going to keep the unit. This does so many things that I havn't figured out yet. I thought the long antenna on the collar may be restrictive for the dog but she doesn't seem to mind it too much, I saw her once or twice biting at it when it would touch her side, but that was in the first hour of wearing it since then she seems ok with it. They claim 9 mile range with this unit but here in cental PA I don't think it will go quite that far, I had my wife jump in the car and go for a drive with the collar, she got about 4 miles away and dropped down into a deeper small hollow and I lost track of her on the map screen but I could still operate the training portion of the collar and when she came out of the hollow I picked her up again on the map, The fartherst she went was about 5 miles, pretty impressive to me. I intend on returning and updating this review after I have had the unit for awhile. This is a little on the pricey side but we all love our dogs so much it gives you peace of mind. I only have 1 dog but I can see the value in this unit if you run a pack of hunting dogs together this unit would be worth every dime. UPDATE-11/23/2012I've been out about 20 times now and I LOVE this collar, I miss that anoying beeper less and less. The battery life is great, the gps tracking dead on, and now I can find my truck everytime too. I have not had any problems with the unit at all although I dread trying to use Garmins website for updates, I constantly have problems with thier website.If you can afford it and love your dogs I would highly recommend purchasing this unit. UPDATE2/20/2013Hunting season is over here. I have had an issue twice with this unit. The collar would just turn itself off, this happened only twice to me. I started researching and found on Tri-tronics forum it was happening to others too but only occasionally, then about a month ago Garmin answered a question I sent to support about the issue saying that if you wear a second collar on the dog behind the Alpha 100 and the metal part of the collar touches the charging terminals it will shut down the unit. They reccommend either wearing the second collar in front of the Alpha or put electrical tape across the charging terminals. This has only happened to me twice and I havn't changed anything about the way I wear it on my dog. I still think it is a great unit, but as I said before they could have done a better job on the charging terminals.
