Received what is ordered the way it is supposed to be, within a week or so, brand new item, well wrapped. No complain, which is already a perfect score of five stars.

We have a medium and a large dog, and it was annoying to use two leashes to take them out. We bought the 12" version of this coupler because we knew that having 4 feet between our dogs would be way too much, even though they're fairly large.

Innotek Basic Remote Trainer

My collar stopped working after 3 months. Innotek doesn't honor their warranty unless you buy from an authorized dealer (which doesn't include Amazon).

The reviews so far have mostly complained about Amazon's lack of support for this product, but they have not touched up on the product itself. How did it function? How did it work until one reviewer said it "Stopped Working", which then followed the rant about about how Amazon is not considered an authorized dealer. So my attempt is to give you a very basic idea about the product that I have used for the last 6 months or so.

I have found the product to work very well. I bought a second one from Amazon because the first one I dropped the remote and the way it landed jarred something in the remote and caused it to stop working. I contacted the company and let them know after purchasing it through Amazon (I should have probably waited) because they sent me a new remote free of charge. Customer service was very good with the Innotek Company. Even though I did not have a receipt I was able to prove date of purchase and model number and they looked up receipt and took care of everything else. I got off subject about the company, for that I am sorry and will get back to how the product worked.

It has been a wonderful product. I have read the dog whisper's book as well as watched his leadership series and have followed his advise pretty well. One thing Cesear mentions is to, "Have a device that makes you feel empowered, but doesn't hurt the dog". I believe this device does just that. With the different settings you can change the level of shock and for emergencies there is a boost feature on the remote. My dog used to attack anything on 4 legs without fail. Used to pull me on a chain. After a combination of Cesear Milan and this remote I have seen a 180 degree difference in dealing with my dog. Every morning I put this remote on him and go for a daily jog around the neighborhood and am not fearful of other dogs or cats causing my dog to lash out (even a horse one time). This is also without a leash, I am using nothing but this shock collar. Mostly a voice command will do the trick to snap him out of it if he seems to be getting really curious about the other animal, but sometimes I do have to hit the button on the remote and then I have my dogs attention right away. I have not needed to use the boost ever, but it is still there just in case. My dog doesn't need a leash now due to this device and since I am consistent with discipline and using this leash every morning for so long, I have have began to make progress to not use it. I have been gradually not using the shock collar and he has still been performing well, probably because he thinks I still have the remote. :)

So far so good is the bottom line. This device has served my purpose and has served it well. It does make me feel more empowered when it is on him and the setting I have is pretty low. The dog is pretty big, so you don't need to put it on the highest setting. If I remember I have it on setting 3. The dog is an American Bulldog/ Beagle mix and weighs roughly 85 lbs. Hopefully this review helps you.

P.S. I do not think it is inhumane to use it. I tried it on myself just to see how bad of a shock it was. I didn't think it was all that bad. I didn't like it :) but as long as the dog behaves he has nothing to worry about. It is like a virtual spanking is all.

Worst money I've spent in a long time! The collar is TOTALLY ineffective in dog training. Range is very limited. The collar is not conducive in keeping the terminals against the dogs skin and the collar just flops around.

Perhaps an elastic collar would be better. This way the collar would keep constant tension and keep the terminals against the dog. The way it is though the collar is worthless.

I highly do NOT recommend this product.

I have fed my dogs these for several years and never have had a problem with them. My one dog is 17 and i have given these to him all his life. I also have 2 yorkies and 2 maltachons they are 2 to 5 years in age and never had any problems with these treats. I know some people have had some problems with chicken jerkey treats but i never have and they all love them. Maybe some dogs are sensitive to them even as some people are with certain foods but as i said no problems here i will continue to buy them.

Natural Balance Dog Food, Lamb Formula, 4 Pound Roll

I've used this product for 9 years, ever since we went through puppy training with my dog. Since then, it's been a relatively healthy treat and a good tool for behavior reinforcement. I say relatively healthy because so many dog treats are full of wheat and other grain fillers. The Amazon product ingredient listing is for the OLD formulation. Let's examine the first 8 ingredients of that formulation:

Lamb, Lamb Hearts, Lamb Kidneys, Lamb Lungs, Whole Wheat Flour, Rice Flour, Lamb Fat (Preserved with mixed Tocopherols and Ascorbic Acid source of Vitamin C) Sucrose.

The first 4 ingredients are lamb, and so the inclusion of wheat and rice flour as the fifth and sixth ingredients, while not optimal, is allowable for texture. The lamb fat is perfectly good for a dog's diet, while the eigth ingredient, sucrose (table sugar) is not healthful at all. Presumably it was added for palatability, but as the eight ingredient overall, it might be an acceptable concession.

Now, check out the new formulation's first 8 ingredients, from the Natural Balance web site:

Lamb Lungs, Wheat Flour, Sugar, Lamb, Wheat Bran, Lamb Hearts, Salt, Rice Flour.

Only 3 of the first 8 ingredients could be considered optimal for canine health: the rest is filler or worse. Wheat flour and sugar displace two meaty ingredients in the top 4, and SUGAR is now the third ingredient overall. SUGAR. Folks, this is NOT good for your dog. They've taken a mostly healthy treat and made it sweeter, pumped up the filler grains, and even increased how much salt is in it. This isn't a MEAT roll any longer, it's basically meat-flavored Doritos. AVOID this at all costs if you care about your dog and keeping him healthy for a long time.

It's too bad that my dog loves this so much, because now I will have to buy a better, more healthful product, or make my own treats. SHAME on Natural Balance for junking up their product at the expense of the animals' health.

Agree with previous description of this item as "puppy crack". We have a 5 month old mini schnauzer mix who is happy to ignore us on walks, tugging on the leash with perceived strength of a small grizzly bear in order to reach the "OMG I HAVEN'T SMELLED THIS ONE YET" leaf 10 feet away.

We cut up pieces of this lamb roll (about 5mm cubes) to use as treats, and once he smells it he transforms into the "OMG OMG. GIMME. I'LL BE GOOD. GIMMEEEEEEEE!" dog we all wish we had. He'll follow right next to us on walks, eyes upward in hope/greed.

Tips:

Satiate yourself before you handle the meatlog, lest you be tempted to try it! It smells delicious.

Cut off only as much as you think you need that day, as smaller pieces tend to dry out (even in tupperware in the fridge) and lose their ultra-attractive smell. Alternatively, cut larger pieces and tear off smaller ones as you go.

Consider the 2.5 lb or 1 lb versions if you have a small dog. We have a 15 lb pup who goes on 3+ walks a day and we estimate the 2.5 lb log will last us several months.

I have no experience with using the meatlog as his regular meal as I would prefer it stay high-ranked on his list of "OMG AWESOME STUFF".

I first came across the Natural Balance dog food rolls while in obedience class with my first dog. She could be picky about the treats, but a few weeks into class one of the trainers tried giving a small piece of roll to her. She LOVED it and would do ANYTHING for it! After that I immediately went out and bought one, and have used it to help train my second dog, too. The best way for using it as a treat is to cut off a small slice (maybe a quarter-inch thick), then cut that into small squares to make them bite size. Perfect for dog training!

Another way I use it now is with the dog food. I don't use it as a straight feed for my dogs because it would cost me too much. I found what works great is adding it to their dry food. I feed my dogs Natural Balance Ultra Premium Dog Food and I use a grater/shredder and shred some of the roll and mix it in with their food. Even the pickiest of eaters will probably eat their food then.

The ingredient list above is incorrect. Ordered this and discovered third ingredient is sugar and the crude protein is listed as 11%. Not as high as you expect from that meaty list of ingredients they display here. Here is the list from their website:

My black lab could definitely feel the shock. I don't like to shock her, so after a few warnings, we switched to the vibrate. It seems like the device take too long to respond after it falls to sleep. I have to hit the mode button a few times, then I'm checking to make sure it's not on shock, by that time she's annihilated what ever she was getting in trouble for LOL.

I think if you are using this device during a training session, it would be GREAT! As a deterrent of bad behavior using only occasionally, not so much. I love that it is rechargeable, and it doesn't seem uncomfortable for the 75+ lb "puppy". You can't go wrong with the price...

Nala No Go Housebreak Aid 16Oz

I have a non-nuetered male Italian Greyhound who loves to mark inside our house as well as go outside. I have been so frustrated for over a year now, finally broke down and spent the $ it cost me in a Pet store and will be buying more.

He constantly urinated on the front cover of our 54" TV speaker front and my curtains, the tailend of comforters hanging over beds, whatever he could find. I am happy to say that anything with a more pourous surface(cloth-like) when thoroughly washed and then sprayed thoroughly with the No-Go, I haven't had an accident in over 2 weeks now. I've sprayed some wood surfaces, but that only lasted a week.

So, my reccomendation is to definitely buy this, but wash things very thoroughly and then spray and any non-pourous surfaces, you need to respray frequently.

I'm just so happy to not be washing my curtains and comforters and the speakercovers to my TV every other day that I could scream for JOY!!!!

In the past, No-Go has worked just fine, and I was happy with the result for my rescued chihuahua mix. He's about 5 years old and neutered. However, the left over in the same bottle didn't work as well when he urinated on carpet recently. I thought that the bottle may have been too old and bought a new one 2 days ago. I can smell the difference. This fresh bottle releases much stronger smell where I sprayed. I am planning to update my comment after I find out what happens.

This product flatout does not work, I'm not sure how much more I can expound on that. And before you chime in with "Well you must not have been using it properly" don't bother, it's not like assembling a nuclear warhead or anything.

We have a cat who, for reasons unknown, decided she liked this particular spot on the carpet to do her dirty business as opposed to the litter box. I cleaned the area thoroughly using 32oz Simple Green Stain and Odor Remover for Cats and our Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner with Clean Surge, F5914-900. I even lifted up the carpet, cut out a section of the padding measuring roughly 36" x 36" and replaced it. After the carpet was clean, dry, and odor-free, I applied the "No Go!" spray to that area. My first bad omen was that this stuff smells about as bad as the urine I just spent hours cleaning up. After it dried I allowed kitty free and unrestricted access to the area once again. Almost immediately she backed up to the exact same spot and let the river flow. Good thing Home Depot made me buy a section of padding bigger than I needed because up came the carpet and out came the padding once again.

So in conclusion, save your money and just let your animals urinate on the carpet. It's free and it doesn't smell any worse than this garbage. Oh, and to the seller/manufacturer who voted this review as "Not Helpful" you're a small, petty person. I purchased this product for it's intended purpose and used in the manner indicated on the instructions. It did not work, simple as that. If that makes you mad then maybe you should improve your product, not discredit a legitimate review.

We were extremely satisifed with this product (the one for large dogs) and have recommended it to our friends and family. We had occassion to purchase the product when a very young and large lab type looking dog (turned out to be a Scottish deer hound and german shepard mix) appeared at our door step. We were unable to identify or find his family and because of his sweet nature decided to keep him. It turned out that even without any training on our part, he was truly a working dog. We were having a horrible time with foxes and a coyote killing our free range fowels. Harmon would stay with the girls the entire day, wandering about the yard and pastures with them, keeping all predators away. However, the coyote became more and more bold and when it finally got too close, Harmon took off giving chase to it and failed to respond to our frantically trying to call him back. We tried to find him but to no avail. Fortuneately, we received a call from a young lady, who lived more than 2 miles away, about 30 minutes later saying that she had found him and that he had still been chasing the coyote. They had crossed over at least two busy roads. We then purchased this product on the advice of another friend and found that it solved the problem immediately and completely. We have had to use the shock no more than 3-4 times and Harmon can still chase predators up to 500 yards, which he seems to really enjoy, and we can keep him safe at home by simply beeping him.

Our dog is part chocolate lab and part timberwolf, at around 1 year old his aggressive nature started dominating his moods so we spent weeks researching safe collars that we could use without feeling guilty that we were hurting him. We got this on sale for $130 and it was the best thing we could have done, on top of the training he already had, just setting this to 1 or 2, which is probably something that wouldnt even hurt a teacup chihuahua, he would immediately snap out of it.

We also used it to train him to be off a leash, you have to hold the shock button through 3 beeps before it will shock, and since he was already used to the collar, if he would run off or run to people to play with them, after 1 or 2 beeps he would immediately focus back on me and stop his bad behavior.

very great product, would recommend to anyone having dog behavior problems but would only use as a last resort. Shock settings are very mild up to 4, which feels like a common shock toy, didnt try past that as it was very rarely needed.

Bought the collar 2 years ago, only really had to use it for 6-12 months before he didnt need it anymore

I purchased this product for a very strong, high prey drive male German Shepherd Dog that just didn't respond obediently in certain situations. His obedience was great 90% of the time until there was a competing distraction e.g. deer. Reward/treat based training only goes so far with a dog that has an overwhelming prey drive.

So about the collar...it's an excellent product. I really like the design and wanted to buy something made by a USA company. I have not been disappointed. Its quality is evident in both the receiver and transmitter. It conceals nicely in your pocket and ergonomics are great. It's very intuitive and provides feedback to the dog as either stimulation or vibration (pager feature is awesome and extremely helpful for getting attention and interrupting behaviors which is not found on most e-collars).

Unfortunately for me, because of my dog's strength and desire to chase prey, I had to add an additional receiver to the collar for added power as he fights through even the biggest corrections sometimes. But the customer service I received from the manufacturer was second to none and they made every effort to make sure I had what I needed to succeed. The owner personally contacted me to correct the issue. I would recommend this collar to anyone seeking a higher level of control on their serious sport/working dog. This product is right up there with Dogtra and Tri-tronics and they will go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction. Do not hesitate to buy.

I recently purchased the Einstein 800ts collar. I have been using an older Tri Tronics collar for years. I have found this coller to be easy to use and I am able to use much lower levels of stimulation. The stimulation is much smoother as you can dial it up and down as needed without it turning on and off as you change levels. My dog responds very well at very low levels. Working nights I also like the lights on the collar and the ability to turn them off is good too.

Bought the Einstein ET-800TS Remote Training Collar recently to replace a competing product that we have been using for some time. I am very satisfied with this purchase. The transmitter has a very friendly user interface and the controls are quite easy to manipulate, even with cold weather gloves on; the size and form is conveniently compact and comfortable to hold; and the unit has some very unique characteristics, such as the remotely activated collar strobe and / or constant light for night time use and ease of locating your dog. have yet to try out the mile claim but so far no complaints. I bought this for the vibration feature and it was recommended by leerberg. I have a deaf Bull terrier/American bulldog i like to take into the woods and so far this thing has held up and never given me and issue. the vibration isnt the strongest thing but with training my dogs comes as if she was called. If she has starred to go after something or does not want to respond a simple 10-15 static nip is all that is needed for me at least. I have gone all weekend with only one charge and never had the low battery light function and i use the vibration quite often.
