I was worried at first because of all the people that said within a day theres stopped working. Rolled the dice and sure enough mine stopped the first day. Decided to change the batteries in the collar and it worked perfectly again. I would say the biggest issue is the crap chinese batteries it comes with. Got some long lasting AA and still going for almost a month. We have a dog that likes to run away and plays chicken with cars this collar has given us a well behaved dog and the range is excellent.

I bought a unit. I thought it was great, but it failed after two weeks. I figured the dog had rammed it against something so I got another. The new unit failed after a week. I took the collar unit apart and found that the construction was such that the vibration of the collar (a feature) was causing the internal wires to get clipped apart. I took the original unit apart and found the exact same thing. If you buy it I hope you have better luck but I believe there to be a technical design flaw.

This product worked intermittently, which if you are trying to train a dog, will NOT suffice. You need something that is going to work every time you hit the button if you really think you need a training collar, spend the $$ for a nicer one. (or hit ebay for a good quality used one)

This item works 100%. My pitbull Coco wasn't raised with dogs and lunges after them when we're walking her. But the shock collar stops her and then we just walk home.

Equalizer Carpet Stain & Odor Eliminator 20 ounces aerosol

The Equalizer can clean any organic spot. Cat urine it not only takes out the surface stain and odor but neutralizes the odor so that the cat doesn't continue to go back to the spot. It works great on blood, urine, hairballs and vomit. It does not work on dirt...but then thats not what I needed it for. With multiple cats and a dog I buy this product by the case. It was recommended by my vet (though much more cost effective to buy on line!) Far superior to anything that you can buy on a pet store.

I started using this product on a vet's recommendation when I first got my dog. It took awhile to train this dog to stop marking his territory inside the house. I have continued to use it for all manner of pet .. deposits .. shall we call them? :) Including urine, feces, and cat puke. This spray is the best one I've tried. It does quite a good job of getting rid of the stain and the odor. You remove any solids from the carpet and blot up as much liquid as you can with paper towels. Then you spray this spray while standing (it sprays it with quite a bit of force!). Let it sit for a minute or two. Then you blot it up with more paper towels. If it's a particularly bad spot, sometimes it requires a bit of scrubbing at this point. Sometimes, with really bad or really old spots, I have had to do a second application the next day to get rid of all of it. It does a good job of getting rid of the stain that I can see and the smell that *I* can smell. I think it does a good job of getting rid of the smell that my animals can smell too, because I don't see repeat marking where I have cleaned up with this spray. (Note: I have only tried this on dog marking, so I don't know how well it does with cat marking!) The main down side to this product is that it does have a moderately strong chemical smell for a little while after you spray it. It goes away after a bit, though.

I have tried them all, and this is the absolute best. With a golden retriever whom we have dubbed "special needs puppy" she has always had accidents on the floor. We have tried EVERYTHING to get her to stop, and nothing has worked until i found this stuff by a happy accident. It not only removes the appearance of stains, but completely rids the smell. It also works on human vomit, tested with my 3 year old daughter during a wicked bout of a stomach flu, and also gave a can to my grandmother just before my grandfather entered a nursing home due to Alzheimers. It works for just about every kind of protien stain imaginable, even dogs in heat. You just have to make sure it is a well ventilated area. It leaves a nice fresh scent, kind of citrusy I think. But I live in Michigan, and even when it is freezing outside, I clean the stain after my daughter is in bed, and I leave the window open for about 5 minutes or so. Even when I use my home steam cleaner, I spray the carpet where she usually has an accident, and I suck it up with the fresh water. It even helps repel repeated accidents. Our accident ratio has gone from every night to maybe 2 times a month or so. We have now put a chair between the living room & dining room, and tied it to the handle of the closet door to make sure she can't move the chair, but if she does have an accident, i reach for this can. I can not say enough excellent things about this product. Oh, and great for potty training little ones. Well cleaning up after potty training accidents.

I had cat urine under my queen bed because of a feral who refused to come out and use a litter box, unbeknownst to me. if you wan't to completely control and OWN your dog and his/her mind and free will, I extremely recommend this product. I have bought three of them, because he hates them so much that he chews them up. I wish they made them with metal instead of plastic snappers, but that is no big deal to me.

Needed to replace our old GLC as our golden retriever had outgrown it. Got this one at such a good price, but it turns out to be money wasted. I think the thing made it through maybe three walks before the muzzle strap broke off. Not repairable, and won't be replacing it with this same unit, just more money down the drain.

This muzzle is very stiff and just doesn't give a good fit, I think. My very active, 8 month old bulldog had it on for about an hour -then somehow she managed, at some point, to work the muzzle strap around and off to a position where she chewed the leather strap that goes from the nose to the back strap. Destroyed the muzzle's fit within no time at all. Muzzle is now useless. I think this muzzle is designed to use with a leash for a proper fit -I need a muzzle just to have on her head without the use of a leash because my pup is dog aggressive with other dogs I own. I do not recommend this one.

Although this worked immediately on Tux, I didn't use it at first because it seemed to go off randomly. Finally, in frustration (with 4 dogs moving in next door), I analyzed it and discovered it was the tags on his regular collar setting it off. Took off that collar and now PEACE & QUIET in my house. Tux would set my other dogs off barking, very unpleasant. Now, even when the new 4 "go off" at every car that drives by, my dogs just look over and wonder what the fuss is. Tux has finally learned that barking must be limited or he gets the collar on, so he's quiet most of the time I only let him bark when we're playing now.

I'd like to point out that the sonic noise itself is what he hates and this is the first thing that has worked. I tried shock (which just made him whine loud enough to keep getting a shock, and scarred his neck); citronella (worked for a week); 2 other sonic devices that just didn't have the right sound to shut Tux up; and a boat horn (which worked but only when I could find it and also punished the other dogs!). This one makes the dog wearing it suffer even if he's not the one barking but doesn't seem to bother the other dogs. So Tux has learned to run away if one of the other dogs barks, which actually quiets them all down.

We had complaints from our neighbors and after trying a tone based bark arrestor, we decided to hesitantly step up to this one that shocks if the dog continues to bark after receiving the high pitched sound. But, when I put it on him, it started shocking him without a peep from anyone or anything. The poor dog didn't know what to do while it shocked his neck and I tried to remove it in a panic. He was pretty stressed. It seems like a great product, I hope they have the bugs out of it.

I had a horrible experience with this collar! Here is my horror story:

My 2 yr old pitbull is a barker and I felt like I tried everything to stop this just short of professional training. I bought the citronella collar and he just barked numerous times until the sprayer was empty. The whole room would be filled with citronella and made us all gag. I felt I needed something stronger.

I was moving into a new place and bought this shock collar as a last resort. I did not want the upstairs landlords to kick me out or dislike me and my dog because my dog barked all day at every little sound!

I put the collar on and the first time he barked, it warned him as it was supposed to with a high pitch sound. He got scared but the warning did not scare him enough for him to stop barking. The collar, again, worked as it was supposed to and shock him at this point. The shock freaked him out. It freaked me out to see his reaction to being shocked. But maybe I was just being a baby about it because he is my baby.

I decided to keep with it because in the end I needed him to stop unnecessarily barking.

He barked again a few minutes later, like I knew he would, and there was no warning sound, he just got shocked. This sent him into a freaked out mode! He whined and winced like he was hurt. I couldn't take putting him through this anymore and went over to him to take the collar off.

At this point, as I was trying to unlatch the collar, I happened to answer loudly to my cousin's question from across the room and just the sound of my voice (which is not anything like a dog bark) set the collar off. Since my dog was already panicked from the last shock, this shock made him get defensive.

He was running up and down the room, screeching, barking and whining! and each of every time he made a sound, the collar shocked him!!!

I was horrified!!!

Now I am in tears chasing him around the room to hold him down and get this friggin collar off him! The whole time the collar is continuously shocking him!!!

Need less to say, my dog was so freaked out and in defense mode, he ended up biting me because he wasn't understanding what was going on.

I had to go to the hospital to get 10 stitches in my hand all because this collar malfunctioned over my voice!!!!!

I would NEVER EVER recommend anyone getting their pet a shock collar, no matter the circumstances! ESP NOT THIS COLLAR!!!

We have two Mt. Cur dogs, who love to bark and unfortunately they love to bark for no reason! We have tried the sonic collars (don't waste your time), especically if your dog is the type of breed that is strong willed. We placed the Terminator 2 on the older dog (2yrs) and and after the 3rd bark....we had a quiet dog. She totally got the connection between barking and the zap. We then place the collar on the younger dog (8 months), and it only took one bark...and now we had two quiet dogs. We love this training tool. We are buying a second collar and planning on using them to break other "bad habits" like barking at the door bell....etc. Great product.

I ordered another vest from the same vendor. It was a large and was supposed to fit a 34" at the small. When I got it I seen my dog was a 33" so I went to order a medium and it only went to a 34". I needed something in the middle of these two. So I ordered this vest. It is supposed to fit a 32" which would give him enough room to grow. Also this vest does not qualify for my Amazon Prime and the shipping was over 10 each time. What I actually got was the large vest again not a smaller one. Very disappointing. The quality is good though but as for their other products they are very expensive. Not im pressed for the first time customer.

I have the worst yapper I have ever known in a 4.5 lb Papillon. Really, you wouldn't believe the enthusiastic shrill barking that she is capable of. Shock collars are too strong for such a small dog, sonic controllers did not phase her, and the citronella collars didn't function. This has worked. She tries to bark, but only a few times and in a quieter tone, clever girl that she is. The only reason it was less than 5 stars is the collar loosens. I looped it back through the buckles and we'll see if that works. I want to thank my neighbors for not started a war with me; they would have had just cause to.

We have a deaf boston terrier that loves to bark on a constant basis. we bought this collar with low expectations since we've tried everything to calm her barking down. This collar exceeded or expections and works like a charm best 50 bucks we've spent and we love the idea that it only vibrates with no shocking effects.

We got a new rescue dog (shepard mix)and also have an Invisible Fence. As other mentioned we did not want her confused by two zappers so thought we would try the vibration.

It worked great when we use it in the early morning or at night. She will bark a few times (which I prefer)but it stops the endless barking at the neighbors.

This item must have just been a lemon because I have used PetSafe brands before and they have been great. It was just a defective collar I think. I just bought another one (same brand) different type and it works just fine.
