Adjustable Teeter Base SeeSaw Base - Dog Agility Equipment- BOARD NOT INCLUDED!

Adjustable Teeter Base SeeSaw Base - Dog Agility Equipment- BOARD NOT INCLUDED!I was so excited to find this teeter at a good price. The company sent it out with speed. i recieved my teeter in excellent shape. We all love this produst and would purchase from this compnay again.

The teeter was as advertised, it is just the base. It works as it should. It is a lot of work to get the board for the teeter. My husband did it, I could not have done it. It's a little expensive for just the base, but it does work and my dog is getting better on the teeter!

Buy Adjustable Teeter Base SeeSaw Base - Dog Agility Equipment- BOARD NOT INCLUDED! Now

I purchased this base because my dog was afraid of the teeter in agility class and I knew she needed much more exposure. I went to Home Depot to buy the wood and paint. The directions included are pretty good. The only problem I had was one mis-drilled hole, which I discovered when I couldn't get it attached to the board. I recommend having a 2nd set of hands for that part to ensure you get it right. My dog loved our training sessions on the teeter at the lowest setting. I helped her over at first. She became so much more at ease that after a month or so I raised the height, and to my surprise she had no problem going over! Would not hesitate to purchase again!

Secure Leather Mesh Basket Muzzle #16 Brown - Great Dane, Saint Bernard, Mastiff (Circumference 15.5

Secure Leather Mesh Basket Muzzle #16 Brown - Great Dane, Saint Bernard, MastiffThis muzzle seems to be a comfortable fit for my Mastiff to wear. He is able to breath with no difficulties, it is easy to put on and it keeps others safe while out in public. It also is soft enough to where it doesn't leave bruises on me when he rubs up against me like the harder muzzles do. Certainly would reccomend it to others.

I purchased this muzzle for my mastiff. It fits him perfectly and is very secure. The first few times I put it on him he tried getting it off but he wasn't able to. The leather is strong but soft so it doesn't hurt his face. There are many rivets holding it together, which gives me comfort knowing that if somehow one broke, the others would keep it together. I chose this muzzle after hours of researching every muzzle for sale on here and reading reviews here and on other sites. I'm happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Cloud Star Grain Free Soft and Chewy Buddy Biscuits Dog Treats, Homestyle Peanut Butter, 5-OunceNot sure if it's the smell or flavor or both but our Siberian Husky loves these treats. They are easy to break apart with your hand to give as smaller treats for shaping. We'll definitely be buying more.

Seem like a good product. Our dogs like them well enough. No complaints thus far. Will look for them in stores.

These were just the right size for my Jack Russell. However, they seem to dry out faster than expected and broke into small crumbs. But Maggee (my dog) liked the tastes and that's all that mattered.

Esky Waterproof Electronic Fence Dog Shock Collar System with two collars

Esky Waterproof Electronic Fence Dog Shock Collar System with two collarsThe Good:

The price. At around 1/2 to 1/4 the price of name brand underground dog fences, the price seemed right.

Lots of wire included, enough for over 1 acre.

It works.... for the most part.

The instructions had some broken english, but overall they were very clear and helpful.

Comes with TWO collars

The Bad:

I unfortunately have had one bad experience after another, starting when I opened the box. The generic, ugly box (with no brand name printed on it) just screams "CHEAP." When you open it up and look at the contents, you find the same dissapointment. The receiver is super cheap plastic, the wire is literally the width of fishing line (pathetically thin and weak). The flags are few and cheap as well.

The flags included (only 20) are very cheaply made. The flag pole is cheap, thin plastic that seems like a simple fountain drink straw (terribly difficult to get in the ground).

The receiver doesn't work well sometimes it powers the wire well, other times it doesn't I constantly have to play with it.

That cheap wire I mentioned earlier? Man what a pain! Because it's so thin it kept getting tangled and giving me all sorts of hassles. I ended up ripping it out of the ground and running to my local Tractor Supply to buy heavier gauge wire. Much better! (extra $35 though)

The collars aren't that great. They have a hard time picking up a signal from the wires, yet the moment the dog steps in the house with the collar on, one of our appliances sets it off! To be fair, the manual warns you about this possibility, but it's still very annoying.

My personal recommendation would be to pay the extra $70 or so to purchase a better, name-brand system. This one is bound to give you headaches as it did me, and if you're going to put in all the hard work to install the system, why not get one you trust to last a long time? If you're looking for a simple and cheap system and have a very (very) small yard, feel free to try it out, just don't say I didn't warn you!

Thanks,

Ryan

I know it seems cruel to use this on your beloved pet!

But when they dart out in the road, and a car comes zooming down the street,

your heart just drops thinking this may be the last time, and the car brakes hard ,just barley missing you beloved dog! gosh don't you just hate that sickening feeling.

I bought this item, and it was shipped before said time, the Manuel was a little hard to understand!

but if you read the complete book over twice, you will figure it out, its not that bad!now that i am done.

do not put these collars on your dog without the transmitter turned on!

And do not leave the collars on them all the time!because certain things in the house, can cause interference, and could possibly shock your dog,so please read the book thoroughly!!

update i didn't even have to bury the wire,i just laid it on the ground, and and after thoroughly checking the system and the lay out!

with the test lights that they provide!they also give you little white flags,to put out in the yard,so that when you 1st here the beep, put down a flag and show your dog , bad flag bad!then back off the area! and play with your dog,let him get comfortable, then, i am sorry, but you have to let him get shocked, once or twice to teach him,but they catch on quick!!

No more dashing out, across the road, not even after the cat , or a squirrel !!!

after awhile you can just turn it off, they learn the boundaries quick!

but once in awhile you have to put the collar back on,once in awhile to remind them of the danger of crossing the road! If you love your dog, and they just cant refuse ,running out after squirrels or cats this will stop them

cold!!!!

The wire is very thin and gets tangled quite easily, but if you hold it as you are unwinding it, it isn't that bad, but if you get a good kink in it, it says that there is a break in the line

Sporn Nylon Non Pulling Dog Harness, Medium, Black

Sporn Nylon Non Pulling Dog Harness, Medium, BlackI have bought a lot of stuff online, and I have written a lot of reviews. This is by FAR the best thing I ever bought. Our Jack Russel Terrier is a 20 lb ball of muscle, and pulls so hard his tongue turns blue. Someone told me about this type of collar so I thought I'd give it a try.

Well I tried it today for the first time and it worked like a charm! He didn't pull at ALL, and the collar did not seem to bother him at all! His walk is about one mile and for the first time ever, the whole mile was a pleasure. It's as if he never pulled before. Even as I write this I am still blown away at how well it worked. In the past, all the training we used to try only worked temporarily. As soon as he got a whiff of something interesting all the training went out the window. Well all that is history now and I am looking forward to many more pull-free walks.

For sizing, we got the medium and we had to adjust it down quite a bit but then it fit perfectly. I think the small would've been a little tight. Our Jack Russell is a stocky little muscle-man!

In case I haven't been clear, I will summarize by saying I LOVE this thing!!!!!

4/7/11 Additional Details: I've been meaning to edit this for a couple of weeks. I think in the beginning our dog didn't pull probably because he felt the padded straps around his body and it felt foreign to him. That's the only explanation I can think of. He's back to pulling again, BUT...he's still WAY easier to handle with this collar. And he doesn't choke himself. He looks like he's pulling pretty hard, but it doesn't feel like he's pulling that hard. I think it boils down to the balance the collar provides. For example, if you can imagine trying to lift and move a heavy object let's say a really big flat rock; If you try to hold on to it by just a little corner on one end it'll be very difficult. Now let's say there was a convenient handle right in the middle of the rock. You'd be able to lift and maneuver it much easier. Same principal with the collar. So although he's back to pulling again, it really does him no good at all. He's still so much easier to handle. I still love the collar and I'll keep the five stars!

I bought the Sporn mesh harness for my mixed shepherd puppy. She wasn't too bad walking on a regular leash/collar, but there were times (like walking home from the park!) where she would pull hard. I swore she was going to hurt herself, and with a regular leash/collar it's impossible to give corrections. So I decided to invest in a harness which would allow me to correct her those times when she pulled. I chose the Sporn mesh harness because it looked more comfortable than a standard all nylon strap harness. I just returned from a walk to the park with her and all I can say is that she walked like a new dog! Not exactly sure how it works to stop the pulling, but it's like magic! She never really pulled at all. A few times I thought she was going to pull, but she'd just stop, wait a second or two and then start again. Coming home she walked beside me the whole way. I would strongly recommend this harness.

This thing is a lifesaver. I was actually able to take my dog on a long relaxing walk the first day I tried the harness. My arm actually stayed right by my side the whole time rahter than him tugging my arm out of its socket like he likes to do. Every time he would try to zip ahead and start pulling the harness would make him pause and look at me, he'd wait for me to catch up and then he'd just walk at a normal pace. No more tugging like a maniac, claws digging into the ground and gagging from him chocking himself on his collar. And this product doesnt even cost that much!

I have a 40 lb. 3 year old male husky. He can pull 150 lbs. with no problem. The harness does not stop the pulling completely, working approximately as well as a prong collar.

The harness has an adjustable draw string which allows the harness to fit to each dog. The harness is strong and allows better movement corrections compared to any collar.

The harness is far from perfectly designed. First off, it does not prevent pulling. Second, the straps going over the dog's shoulder's are not adjustable, causing the mesh piece to be much lower on the dog's chest than it should be. This causes the mesh ends to cramp on the dog's armpits which may cause damage on thin furred dogs. The cushions are slidable pieces on the straps running from the dog's chest its back. The pieces gradually move up the line towards the back, which exposes the dog's armpits to the raw strap underneath. The cushion pieces also catch fur, so shedding dog owners beware as they do not release and are very difficult to clean.

We have a rescued Sheltie who is very skitish. I bought this harness because she pulls very hard when we go for walks. The harness stopped her pulling almost instantly. It was magic. The harness also is very easy to put on her. Unfortunately, she was spooked by a sound, she backed up and pulled herself right out of the harness. Luckily I was able to capture her but it was very tense. I put the harness on her in a fenced yard. If I pull her forward or she backs up, the harness once again pulls right off of her. The harness was adjusted tightly on her. The problem is that the leash connects on top of the dog. Therefore, it doesn't take much of a pull to pull it right off her. I've since bought a harness that connects in the front. She can't pull out of that type of design.

Premier Collar, Medium 3/4-Inch, Green

Premier Collar, Medium 3/4-Inch, GreenI love this collar, I also have a bigger size for one of my other dogs. It's a great color, and the martingale is perfect. I like having the added control when walking that the maringale provides, but also know the amount of tightening is restricted so it won't cause any damage to my pet's windpipe like traditional slip leads/choke collars. The ONLY thing that would make this collar better would be a clip for easy on/off and emergencies. Overall: great product, great value, highly recommended!

I followed the instructions exactly for measuring my dog as stated on the site. I ordered this collar to match a Premier tracking harness. The collar I received was entirely too large and could not be adjusted enough to fit. Since the shipping charges were more than the merchandise, I will not return it since I would have to pay a 15% re-stocking fee and an additional charge to return it. I will give it to someone with a much, much larger dog. Just wasted $9.72 and still don't have a collar.

PoochieBells EcoFriendly Bark Brown Bamboo Webbing Dog Potty Training Doorbell

PoochieBells EcoFriendly Bark Brown Bamboo Webbing Dog Potty Training DoorbellWe recieved the wrong color, but that was fine.

Trying to train the puppy is a headache, though. He uses the bells when he wants to go outside to play, rather than when he needs to pee. Sometimes he does this right after he pees on the floor. :(

Some days are maddening with the constant banging of the bells. I would think this might be better with an older dog that is not full of such energy.

Also, the door is getting very scratched up. It is almost like this teaches the dog to jump on the door.

I ordered this product in brown. Unfortunately when I received it, the ribbon was green but the little bag that it came in said brown. I contacted Poochie Bells about this issue also.

Easy Walk Harness - Medium/lLarge, Raspberry Pink

Easy Walk Harness - Medium/lLarge, Raspberry PinkLove this for my american bulldog, she tends to get stubborn but then will just shoot into a sprint. This forces her to walk with me and her lil pom bro.

Plus the bright girly color help identify her gender to strangers!

We have two of these for our springer spaniels. When they wear these I can comfortably walk them both on 16-foot leashes without any problem or pulling. When they don't wear them I can NOT...I would get taken for a ride. My ONLY complaint is that they come loose on their own when the dog does try to pull...not to the extent that the dog can get out, but they start to sag on their chest, causing the leash to get tangled under their legs easily. Otherwise though, they are great, and overall I would HIGHLY recommend for dogs that pull.

I am so glad that someone told me about this! I have a large dog and I was using the gentle guider that went over her nose, but I hated that people thought it was a muzzle and that I was a terrible dog owner haha. Apparently, my doggy hated it too as she chewed it up as soon as she got the chance. The only complaint I have is that it comes loose and I have to tighten it quite a bit, but I think that will stop once she's learned how to walk well.

I am sold on the Easy Walk Harness, a gentle way to keep my powerful pup from dislocating my shoulder. Purchasing online gave me a much better selection than buying it in a pet store. My dog needed the in-between medium/large size, that I wasn't able to find locally. And I was delighted to see that it came in so many more colors than the pet store carries.

Want Easy Walk Harness - Medium/lLarge, Raspberry Pink Discount?

I like the D ring on the front. I think the Martingale loop is too big, and this is exacerbated by the REAL problem: the buckles used to adjust the chest strap don't stay in place if there is ANY pull whatsoever so that by the end of the decent walk particularly one in which other dogs are encountered and there is always going to be some pull as the dogs struggle to "greet" each other the chest straps are too lose. This is really an issue and one which I wish the Premier folks would fix.

The merchant with whom I dealt, on the other hand, was fantastic.

High Tech Pet Terminator 2 Progressive Stimulus Sound and Shock Bark Control Collar BT-2

High Tech Pet Terminator 2 Progressive Stimulus Sound and Shock Bark Control Collar BT-2Although this worked immediately on Tux, I didn't use it at first because it seemed to go off randomly. Finally, in frustration (with 4 dogs moving in next door), I analyzed it and discovered it was the tags on his regular collar setting it off. Took off that collar and now PEACE & QUIET in my house. Tux would set my other dogs off barking, very unpleasant. Now, even when the new 4 "go off" at every car that drives by, my dogs just look over and wonder what the fuss is. Tux has finally learned that barking must be limited or he gets the collar on, so he's quiet most of the time I only let him bark when we're playing now.

I'd like to point out that the sonic noise itself is what he hates and this is the first thing that has worked. I tried shock (which just made him whine loud enough to keep getting a shock, and scarred his neck); citronella (worked for a week); 2 other sonic devices that just didn't have the right sound to shut Tux up; and a boat horn (which worked but only when I could find it and also punished the other dogs!). This one makes the dog wearing it suffer even if he's not the one barking but doesn't seem to bother the other dogs. So Tux has learned to run away if one of the other dogs barks, which actually quiets them all down.

We had complaints from our neighbors and after trying a tone based bark arrestor, we decided to hesitantly step up to this one that shocks if the dog continues to bark after receiving the high pitched sound. But, when I put it on him, it started shocking him without a peep from anyone or anything. The poor dog didn't know what to do while it shocked his neck and I tried to remove it in a panic. He was pretty stressed. It seems like a great product, I hope they have the bugs out of it.

I had a horrible experience with this collar! Here is my horror story:

My 2 yr old pitbull is a barker and I felt like I tried everything to stop this just short of professional training. I bought the citronella collar and he just barked numerous times until the sprayer was empty. The whole room would be filled with citronella and made us all gag. I felt I needed something stronger.

I was moving into a new place and bought this shock collar as a last resort. I did not want the upstairs landlords to kick me out or dislike me and my dog because my dog barked all day at every little sound!

I put the collar on and the first time he barked, it warned him as it was supposed to with a high pitch sound. He got scared but the warning did not scare him enough for him to stop barking. The collar, again, worked as it was supposed to and shock him at this point. The shock freaked him out. It freaked me out to see his reaction to being shocked. But maybe I was just being a baby about it because he is my baby.

I decided to keep with it because in the end I needed him to stop unnecessarily barking.

He barked again a few minutes later, like I knew he would, and there was no warning sound, he just got shocked. This sent him into a freaked out mode! He whined and winced like he was hurt. I couldn't take putting him through this anymore and went over to him to take the collar off.

At this point, as I was trying to unlatch the collar, I happened to answer loudly to my cousin's question from across the room and just the sound of my voice (which is not anything like a dog bark) set the collar off. Since my dog was already panicked from the last shock, this shock made him get defensive.

He was running up and down the room, screeching, barking and whining! and each of every time he made a sound, the collar shocked him!!!

I was horrified!!!

Now I am in tears chasing him around the room to hold him down and get this friggin collar off him! The whole time the collar is continuously shocking him!!!

Need less to say, my dog was so freaked out and in defense mode, he ended up biting me because he wasn't understanding what was going on.

I had to go to the hospital to get 10 stitches in my hand all because this collar malfunctioned over my voice!!!!!

I would NEVER EVER recommend anyone getting their pet a shock collar, no matter the circumstances! ESP NOT THIS COLLAR!!!

We have two Mt. Cur dogs, who love to bark and unfortunately they love to bark for no reason! We have tried the sonic collars (don't waste your time), especically if your dog is the type of breed that is strong willed. We placed the Terminator 2 on the older dog (2yrs) and and after the 3rd bark....we had a quiet dog. She totally got the connection between barking and the zap. We then place the collar on the younger dog (8 months), and it only took one bark...and now we had two quiet dogs. We love this training tool. We are buying a second collar and planning on using them to break other "bad habits" like barking at the door bell....etc. Great product.

Fruitables Crunchy Dog Treats

Fruitables Pumpkin & Apple Crunchy Dog Treats 1-7 oz PouchI got the blueberry and one other; the puppies love it. Both I and my wife love the smell of it. Wonderful ingredients. Not hard, but does not fall apart or even generate crumbs as the puppies chew it. Makes a gentle but very satisfying crunching noise (I like listening to my puppies crunch things). Easily one of the best puppy biscuits available.

My dogs love these treats. Super cute design and nice small size. They smell absolutely amazing. It's hard to believe it is a dog treat.

I HIGHLY recommend Fruitables--she absolutely LOVES them, and there's no junk or fillers in them. Made in USA, calories are reasonable, good all-purpose size, and they smell like "people" cookies--much nicer to have sitting in the kitchen than, say, liver-flavored snacks.

unfortunately my dog didn't love it. I was under the impression for some reason that it was a softer treat, which my pug prefers; when it arrived we found it to be a hard, sunflower shaped treat. The ingredient list is definitely a draw and the taste (yes, my sister tried the treat!) was good, just would not recommend for dogs that do not want a really hard biscuit.

A dear friend sent these to my dogs as a gift. Both of my dogs (a lab mix and a pug/chihuahua mix) both thoroughly enjoy these Fruitables. With the lab, all I have to do is pick up the bag. I don't know how she knows, even before I open the bag, but she knows (even if she's in another room). She'll wiggle, jump, shiver and shake until she's had her daily Fruitables. I can hardly wait to try the other flavors. I really like that this are all natural and healthy for my pets.

Easy Walk Harness - Small/Medium, Black

Easy Walk Harness - Small/Medium, BlackI bought this for my second dog, a 40-lb Border Collie. She's much smaller than my 54-lb BC/Cattle Dog mix, but larger than what I'd anticipated for a "Small." It turns out that the Small/Medium is likewise too small, so I ended up with a Medium.

Therein lies my main complaint with the Easy Walk Harness. Premier needs to look at the adjustments offered by their Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large harnesses. The Small/Medium, Medium/Large sizes should offer those in-between sizes a bit more adjustment. As it is, the Small/Medium is much more of a Small than a Medium.

That said, I do advocate the Easy Walk harness for people who find that their dogs pull them. By placing the leash attachment ring to the front of the dog, the harness avoids the oppositional reflex that makes dogs move in the exact opposite direction you'd like them to move (i.e. when you pull back, your dog surges forward; when you pull forward, your dog hangs back). Ideally, you will wish to find the services of a good trainer (one who understands positive, reward-based training), who can teach you and your dog how to walk on a loose leash. And, in fact, since dogs don't train themselves, if you haven't trained a dog, you really should get some top-quality professional help. You will have a much better relationship with your dog.

Until that time, though, you can use the Easy Walk Harness, and you can feel confident that your dog won't pull you down the street!

.

Okay, it didn't literally save our lives, but, in January, we got a rescue dog from the shelter that was a terrier mix and everytime we tried to walk her with a conventional lease, she yanked and pulled until our arms were sore. We tried teaching her to heel, sit, stay, all that, but it didn't matter she still would keep pulling and we were afraid we were going to break her neck. A dog trainer recommended this product and it instantly worked for us (after we sorted out sizing issues we had to get an in-betweener (small/medium) which Petco didn't carry). Our dog walks with us, not against us, now and we can now have a pleasant experience when we do walk her. Don't know if it will work this well for everyone, but this was our experience.

The harness broke after our first outting. It does not stay in place. My dog still pulled like crazy on walks.

Want Easy Walk Harness - Small/Medium, Black Discount?

Our golden retriever puppy pulled on the leash constantly. We tried a StarMark Collar (recommended by the Monks of New Skete), but it made no difference.

I talked with Martina Contreras, a dog behaviorist, about the problem. She recommended the Premier Easy Walk Dog Harness (Amazon product number B0009ZBKG4). It instantly and dramatically reduced the amount and force of pulling on the leash. When we first got the Premier Harness, our dog did not like it, but after two days, when we say "walk," she runs to the harness and sits for us to put it on. We did not train our pup to do this; she just likes the harness.

It took me a few tries of putting the harness on wrong before I understood a simple way to put the harness on easily, so now it goes on in a snap. I recommend the Premier harness for any owner with a dog that pulls.
