D.T. Systems Training Scent for Pets, 4-Ounce, Duck

D.T. Systems Training Scent for Pets, 4-Ounce, DuckPackaged appeared to have been opened before and then sealed with tape. The consistency of the product was so bad that it just rolled off my canvas dummy. I did not even adhere to the fabric. Odd stuff.

Leerburg's Amish Soft Latigo Leather 1" Wide Collar (sizes fit necks 13"-25")

Leerburg's Amish Soft Latigo Leather 1' Wide CollarWell made, quality leather, quality craftsmanship. If you know anything about Leerburg, you know that Frawley would never put his name on anything he didn't believe in, and the leather collars (and leashes) from Leerburg are all 5 star quality and workmanship. Made to last.

Leather was a bit stiff at first but after a few weeks of use it softened up to a nice feel. Amazing quality of craftsmanship. Great look for the dog too...

My puppy had gotten old enough that his red nylon reflective Rogz, though still going strong, was starting to look juvenile on him. I don't believe in dressing up dogs (figures that I have one with a very short coat who might actually *need* a jacket!), and I think that a good collar is all the decoration a real dog will ever need. This fabulous collar is exactly what was called for. It is a thick, soft leather, and adds to his good looks without being distracting -like well-applied makeup or tasteful jewelry on a woman. The brass hardware is SOLID, as in: I seriously have not seen anything of this quality in a long time. I've heard of dogs breaking collars, and I saw it happen a couple of weeks ago, but I fully expect this collar to last the lifetime of my puppy and perhaps beyond -depending upon whether we choose to retire it or use it for a new dog.

Puppy's neck was on the low side of a medium, so I ordered a medium to make sure he'd have enough room. There was too much loose leather left over when I tightened it properly, so I cut off the excess with a pair of sharp scissors; it doesn't look quite as nice as the original finished edge, but now that it's the right length you don't even see it.

We added a rivet-on brass nameplate, and we've found that plus the brass hardware on the collar is just the right amount of bling. Perfect.

Simple Solution ECO Care Puppy Training Pads 200 pk (4x50pk)

Simple Solution ECO Care Puppy Training Pads 200 pkI try to be very environmentally conscious so these pads really appealed to me. It was a great quantity at a relatively good price. There is only one little problem ... they are very absorbent but there is always moisture under the pad. I don't know if that is standard ... I use the pads at night and change them each morning so they are not used more than once ... I put newspapers under the pads to absorb the moisture

These pads work great for my dog. Really like that these are eco-friendly too reducing landfill waste. I purchase in bundle to save money and not worry about running out.

PoochieBells The Trusted Name in Dog Training Doorbells in Classic Sahara Stripe

PoochieBells The Trusted Name in Dog Training Doorbells in Classic Sahara StripeThe bells worked wonderfully and my puppy picked up how to use them within a couple of days. She does like to go out a lot and the bells are noisy, but she has had only one accident inside in the 3 weeks we have been using the bell! Worth it!

Its got a real pretty sound, and my brothers dog uses something like it to signal time to go out. However, it has not worked for my dogs. They are afraid of it o its going to be relegated to Christmas decoration-with a few red bows it will be a great jingle bell. The bells REALLY make a nice sound, pleasant. No complaints about the sound just didn't work for my dogs at all. I think it was worth trying, because for the dogs it works for, its great. But for me, it was just okay not what I'd hoped in terms of result, but that is not the bells ''fault'.

when we got our Great Dane puppy we were told he was already house broken and he would bark to go out. obviously they meant he would bark from his crate but as we allow our dogs out int he house all day when i am home, we found we had a slight issue. our puppy would go to the front door and just stand there quietly. if i was in the kitchen or changing the baby i wouldn't see him, so he started having accidents by the front door. (FYIGreat Dane puppy accidents are MUCH larger than most other puppies ;) we already owned one of these door bells but as our doxies never used it we put it away. I have yet to find it so i needed this new one fast. Within less than 24 hrs our new puppy already had figured this bell out. It is awesome! He rings it faithfully when he needs to go out. the louder the bells are rung the more desperate he is! The downside is he's also now learned to abuse the system and rings the bell when he wants to go out and just sit in the sun or go for a walk. so we have to be very consistent and aware of this. if he rings the bell we take him out but if he tries to just lay around we bring him right in and let him go out and sit on the patio. we are doing this in hopes he breaks the habit of ringing it for this type of response and only uses the bells to go potty.

I LOVE these bells! They hooked easily to my sliding glass door. While it's only been up a few days, the dogs are already starting to get the idea. I'm looking forward to the time when they will bump the bells without me there, but I know we are only a short time away.

It's very attractive as well. It's made of a nylon ribbon thin compared to a nylon leash, but sturdy enough that it looks like it will hold up for a long time to come.

I have lab who isn't a big barker (thankfully). We used a bell at the door when we were potty training him because he wasn't vocal about going out. He quickly learned to ring the bell to go out and soon after learned to ring the bell when he wanted or needed something as well, like a cookie or a ball that had rolled under a chair! I love using the bell. Unfortunately, I left one behind on vacation when we took our dog so I replaced it with this one. The neutral color of this is great for my home decor.

Beefeaters Swizzles Tendon

Beefeaters Swizzles Tendon, 6 to 7-InchI've bought two other swizzles that were of the same length previously at local pet stores (one purchased after I placed this order, but it was too late to cancel this order), and it was both over a dollar cheaper and at LEAST twice as large (I used a tape measure and this product is around 1/2-5/8 inch by 2/8-3/8 inch thick where the store bought is around 3/4-7/8 inch by 1/4-1/2 inch thick...basically, the store bought was around twice the weight for a dollar less). The others I've bought have also said they are without additives which I didn't see with this product. The only reason I didn't give this a one star is that my older dogs did like these, where they shunned the much thicker ones I have bought previously (they did have the thinner ones at the store, but I don't remember their price). Overall, I would avoid this product...overpriced by around 3-4 times. Since the description doesn't state it, these are made in Brazil if you are interested.

PoochieBells Dog Potty Training Doorbell, London Stripe

PoochieBells Dog Potty Training Doorbell, London StripeReceived as a gift for a schnauzer puppy two years ago. I laughed but willing to try it as I hate barking dogs. I just rang the bells consistly each time I took her out. She accepted it right away. Next year we brought in another schnauzer who was a rescue at 5 months. She copied the first in no time. Now we need two more Poochi bells for other rooms so when they get locked in accidentally they can ring the bells. Can easily hear upstairs. Guests are amazed.

These actually work! Not only are they attractive, but they are loud enough to hear all over the house. Teaching the concept by saying "ring the bell" causes one to feel like an idiot, but boy do they ever work. An excellent product.

This product arrived just as described -in fact it's a little better looking then I expected. My puppy is beginning to learn and once in awhile uses the bells. My cats are actually a little better about it. It will take consistency like all puppy training but when I'm in another room and the puppy goes to the door it will be extremely helpful.

Outward Hound Smoothride Lookout Car Booster Seat for Dogs

Outward Hound Smoothride Lookout Car Booster Seat for DogsI really liked the product, however my dog wasn't as impressed. Go figure, he is use to having open range in my truck. I was recently in a bad car accident and my little dog was with me and he flew out of the window luckily with no injures. This is the reason I got the booster seat for him. I feel much better knowing he is secure in the vehicle. I really like the booster seat I feel good knowing that he is secure, and knowing that if anything would happen he would be safer. I get a lot of complements on this product. Everyone thinks he looks adorable in his car seat!

Very happy with the customer service ! Postage was quick and once recieved they were very helpful in assisting me with my questions I had. Very very helpful.

SportDOG WetlandHunter 1825 Electronic Dog Training Collar, SD-1825CAMO

SportDOG WetlandHunter 1825 Electronic Dog Training Collar, SD-1825CAMOThe first shock collar i bought was from PetSafe and let me tell you, that thing was a piece of junk. I upgraded to this collar because the petsafe collar did not hold up to it's end of the bargain( the petsafe collar is now a 130 dollar paper weight.) I recieved the Wetlandhunter collar in the mail a few days ago, and let me tell you, it is a great shock collar. The first thing that caught my eye was the 1 Mile coverage distance. I put the transmitter in the car and drove a mile down the road and called my wife on her cell phone. She confirmed that at a mile the collar was beeping and vibrating as i pressed the buttons. The overall build of the collar is great. This thing is literally bullet proof. The camoflage design makes by pitbull look like a hunting dog. lol. But overall, this collar is great. 300 dollars is a little steep, but you get a great quality product which in the long run is well worth it. whatever you do, dont go with petsafe!!!!

I bought this for my husbands dog to help him to train him not to chase people running by our home when we are in the yard. Best investment we could have made.

We now have peace of mind.

Each time our dog would start off running after people running "instead of calling him and saying we where so sorry to the poor unsuspecting runners. my husband let the dog" we let him get started running and pushes the 5 button "poof our dog runs right back to us" with out one word. Also the training video that came with the SportDOG SD-1825CAMO WetlandHunter 1825 Electronic Dog Training Collar is priceless. thank you, thank you.

I have a blue tic and a basset hound for hunting and they both are very stubborn they would bark all day and night and would not fallow any commands as well as chase deer and since the purchase of this training collar its like i traded my dogs in for 2 that came right out of obedience school. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to have a well behaved dog.

This is the second Sport Dog collar I have purchased, the previous model worked great for years, and had a goood range, and this model has better battery longevity, and supurb range, along with more features. always a great buy, just remeber the trining is an essencial part of sucess with this collar. The dog should not cry out when correction is applied, if he does, the setting is too high. my dog loves the collar, because we do fun thinks when the collar is on, like hikes, and field play.

I have used this on a my male black lab that I should have named Houdini or Rover. Well to make a long story short he is a bonifide explorer;a social butterfly. Add to that he can climb chain link fences and has super dog vision to find an open gate or hole under the fence and you will realize that I HAD a problem. In the city we are in the fine for uncontrolled dogs is 250 dollars. I invested in one of these units and needed to use the shock function only twice. Now if he escapes I simply beep him and count to twenty. If he's not home I give him a low level shock. He comes quicker than if I was waving a rib steak. I also use it when we hunt waterfowl, he has a tendancy to chase everything that is in the fields, deer, raccoons, cattle etc. Now if he goes I beep him and back he comes without the shock. This is a great product that has worked extremely well.

KYJEN Outward TREAT N BALL Dog Training Pouch Bag

KYJEN Outward TREAT N BALL Dog Training Pouch Bag RedI like how it has a drawstring to keep the treats from falling out when I am in moving/bending down. To keep it clean, we put in a ziploc baggy to avoid it getting stinky. It clips on really well and keeps its shape even after several rounds in the washing machine. I highly recommend this treat bag!

I bought 14 of the Kyjen Outward Hound Jr. dog treat'n ball bags and have bought individual ones in the past. After a fairly short time the inner lining tends to rip away from the canvas...also I think it's a little small to be conveniently used for access to treats when used for training purposes. I bought 14 for a class, knowing this problem, but needed a large number, at a reasonable price quite quickly. For myself, I have bought a bigger, snap-close bag, that includes a belt which is much easier to use.

Buy KYJEN Outward TREAT N BALL Dog Training Pouch Bag Now

I started to take a class with my Shiba Inu and needed something to put treats in other than a zip lock bag. THis does the trick. Has a belt clip to allows accessibility when you're reaching in for a positive reward as well as a tie closure when you're done and want to put the bag away for storage w/o the treats falling out. Great buy, would recommend it. I got the red and the color wasn't too bad. The picture says it all. Also, fits a tennis ball.

I have been looking for a bait bag.I was tired of treats in my pocket. This offers me the ability to use different treats. It is easy to clean. The dogs know when I have it to behave or they won't get treats. It has strong clips that will hold up to daily use.It is made if strong material which helps it if you leave it where the dog can get it.I have friends that I train dog with that have ordered this product and love it as much as I do.

Want KYJEN Outward TREAT N BALL Dog Training Pouch Bag Discount?

I bought this just after getting my puppy. The first problem I noticed was that the belt clips don't always keep it in place. I'd be walking along with my dog and hear something drop, look back, and see the bag on the trail behind me. Then, after it was just a couple of weeks old, a rip developed in the lining. The treats became trapped between the lining and the outer shell. I would not recommend this product -maybe the newer model is better.

1" Turtle Reef Training Tab

1' Turtle Reef Training TabThe quality of this product is absolutely impressive given its price! I have found training tabs invaluable in training my dog, especially for off-leash training. However, I've tried many different kinds only to find that the traditional swivel bolt snap used on most leashes and training tabs alike come off my dog's collar at the most inconvenient times! Tired of paying $12 to $20 for a tab I would soon lose, I decided to try this one simply because it was cheap.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this one is the first short training tab to incorporate a carabiner-type snap. This snap CANNOT come off because the mechanism closes from the inside of the snap, so pulling on the tab just closes the snap. On top of that, the tab itself feels very sturdy and wide so I can get a good grip on it and easily control a large dog. Another wonderful quality is the fact that it is so lightweight and does not weigh down the dog's collar, so I can leave it on him a long time and get true off-leash reliability.

I was also thrilled with the design. Not only does Dog Tag Art give us a good quality and durable training tab, but it is stylish and colorful too! I am blind so I did not know that it actually has pictures of turtles in the design I simply picked it because of the price. But I am a big fan of turtles I've had 45 of them as pets throughout my life! So this surprise made this product even better than I could have hoped!

I wish other manufacturers of common leashes and tabs would take a lesson from this one and use the same carabiner style snap. Too many great quality products I've tried out proved hopelessly useless and a waste of money because when my dog pulled or rolled the leash came off.

Rolled Leather Collar in Burgundy

Hamilton 1' x 26' Burgundy Rolled Leather Dog CollarThe collar is good quality, but you need to order 4 inches longer than your dog's neck size as the collar is measured from tip of tongue to tip of buckel. The 20 inch was too short for dog's 18 inch neck.

Its important to note that this collar is measured end to end and not from buckle to middle hole like some collars. This means it is much much to small for my little guy and returning from Aus will be a pain. Its also very very stiff to when received and I wont find out if it will soften over time. I have no idea what the leather has been rolled around, but what ever has been painted over the back does not really look like it will last on long, though for all I know it might. Have given it 3 stars as it is still what it says it is just not what I was expecting that meant...

Buy Rolled Leather Collar in Burgundy Now

Other reviews had said this ran small, so I ordered the larger 20" for my dog. Collar arrived from one of their suppliers, not directly from Amazon. It barely reached 19" to the very tip of the leather, the other inch was the end half of the buckle! The first hole was more than 2" from the end, and on this buckle, when buckled on the first hole it barely fit under the buckle and stuck out you needed to go to the 2nd hole before it went through far enough to lay flat so you end up with only a 16" collar.

Thank God for Amazon, and their wonderful return process!!! You click a few buttons, print out the return sheet, and they automatically schedule UPS to come to your home for pickup the next day with a return label, postage paid. A few days for them to get the item back, a few more days and my credit was done, postage and all. Sure does take a lot of the pain away from the disappointment of a poorly designed product. It's great to know whatever I buy here they guarantee, even if it was from one of their suppliers. I have already purchased 5 or 6 other items since this one ...

This collar is pretty small. Needs to be used on pretty small dogs. The 12" is measured from the beginning of the metal clasp to the END of the collar. The last hole is likely 11" from the end of the clasp and 10.5" from the beginning of the leather. I returned this because I need a collar that is bigger. My dog needs 12" from the beginning of the leather to the hole. Amazon took care of me though, so i'm a very satisfied consumer.

These rolled Leather collars are made with some serious hardware and I have found thru the years the rolled leather least interferes with any dogs coat. My still overly rambunctious yellow lab Buddy pulls on his lead to tow me around the block, but the collar shows no sign of stress or strain. (I wish I could say the same about my arm!).

Garmin TT10 GPS Track and Train Dog Device

Garmin TT10 GPS Track and Train Dog Device
  • TT 10 is equipped with a top-mounted, high-sensitivity GPS receiver and braided steel VHF antenna
  • Replaceable 1-inch collar strap with additional colors available
  • Rechargeable Li-ion batteries in Alpha 100 handheld and TT 10 dog device(TT 10 dog device: 24-48 hours depending on update rate)
  • Dog rescue mode switches TT 10 to a two minute update rate when the battery is less than 25% - extending battery life

I've had the Alpha for about a week now, been out 4 times with it. Initially I like the unit. I had a tritronics G2 Upland exp with a beeper and liked it but in the thick woods especally hunting grouse there were quite a few times I lost track of my dog for awhile, she can get out of hearing range very quickly. I like the peace of mind I get from the Alpha knowing where the dog is and I can actually leave the dog hunt better rather than calling her back so I know where she is. I havn't got used to holding the handheld unit yet to see where the dog has gone. Everything has worked as advertised so far with no problems. That being said there are a few things I would change. One thing is the dog alerts I have setup to tell me when she,s on point. It takes about 15 seconds after she goes on point before I get an alert, and I only get one alert no matter how long she is on point. I guess I kind of miss the beeper with my old unit although it could be annoying when she was hunting close. I don't like the charging adapter for the TT 10 collar, sometimes it doesn't make contact until you wiggle it a littleit could of been designed better especially for the price of the unit. Garmin is a good name and I have 2 other gps units by garmin and I like them but thier website sucks, it freezes, is hard to navigate. Tritronics, IMHO is the best name in the dog traning arena and these 2 companys worked together on this unit. I got this unit on a 30 day trial bases, at this time I am probably going to keep the unit. This does so many things that I havn't figured out yet. I thought the long antenna on the collar may be restrictive for the dog but she doesn't seem to mind it too much, I saw her once or twice biting at it when it would touch her side, but that was in the first hour of wearing it since then she seems ok with it. They claim 9 mile range with this unit but here in cental PA I don't think it will go quite that far, I had my wife jump in the car and go for a drive with the collar, she got about 4 miles away and dropped down into a deeper small hollow and I lost track of her on the map screen but I could still operate the training portion of the collar and when she came out of the hollow I picked her up again on the map, The fartherst she went was about 5 miles, pretty impressive to me. I intend on returning and updating this review after I have had the unit for awhile. This is a little on the pricey side but we all love our dogs so much it gives you peace of mind. I only have 1 dog but I can see the value in this unit if you run a pack of hunting dogs together this unit would be worth every dime. UPDATE-11/23/2012I've been out about 20 times now and I LOVE this collar, I miss that anoying beeper less and less. The battery life is great, the gps tracking dead on, and now I can find my truck everytime too. I have not had any problems with the unit at all although I dread trying to use Garmins website for updates, I constantly have problems with thier website. If you can afford it and love your dogs I would highly recommend purchasing this unit. UPDATE2/20/2013Hunting season is over here. I have had an issue twice with this unit. The collar would just turn itself off, this happened only twice to me. I started researching and found on Tri-tronics forum it was happening to others too but only occasionally, then about a month ago Garmin answered a question I sent to support about the issue saying that if you wear a second collar on the dog behind the Alpha 100 and the metal part of the collar touches the charging terminals it will shut down the unit. They reccommend either wearing the second collar in front of the Alpha or put electrical tape across the charging terminals. This has only happened to me twice and I havn't changed anything about the way I wear it on my dog. I still think it is a great unit, but as I said before they could have done a better job on the charging terminals.

I have used a Garmin GPS and Tritronics Pro series collar for the last few years. I found the system to be very intuitive, easy to set up and use. Can't beat the simplicity of an integrated system. Great battery life. Only thing that could be a little better is light placement on the collar it tends to get hidden in a long haired dog.

I love in an area where there are homes but right in my backyard are thousands of acres of wilderness. It is great to have the ability to know that the dogs are out running in the wide open and not in someone's back yard. PS no leash law in the area.

I purchased this because of it's range and versatility. It has exceeded my expectation. I can track more than one dog and switch the collar between two dogs effortlessly. The GPS is very accurate. I am still learning the features.

I have a pointer that runs big. The Garmin Alpha GPS Track and Train System gives me confidence that I know where my dog is and I can control her. It's a lot more fun now.
