PoochieBells The Trusted Name in Dog Training Doorbells in Classic Sahara Stripe

PoochieBells The Trusted Name in Dog Training Doorbells in Classic Sahara StripeThe bells worked wonderfully and my puppy picked up how to use them within a couple of days. She does like to go out a lot and the bells are noisy, but she has had only one accident inside in the 3 weeks we have been using the bell! Worth it!

Its got a real pretty sound, and my brothers dog uses something like it to signal time to go out. However, it has not worked for my dogs. They are afraid of it o its going to be relegated to Christmas decoration-with a few red bows it will be a great jingle bell. The bells REALLY make a nice sound, pleasant. No complaints about the sound just didn't work for my dogs at all. I think it was worth trying, because for the dogs it works for, its great. But for me, it was just okay not what I'd hoped in terms of result, but that is not the bells ''fault'.

when we got our Great Dane puppy we were told he was already house broken and he would bark to go out. obviously they meant he would bark from his crate but as we allow our dogs out int he house all day when i am home, we found we had a slight issue. our puppy would go to the front door and just stand there quietly. if i was in the kitchen or changing the baby i wouldn't see him, so he started having accidents by the front door. (FYIGreat Dane puppy accidents are MUCH larger than most other puppies ;) we already owned one of these door bells but as our doxies never used it we put it away. I have yet to find it so i needed this new one fast. Within less than 24 hrs our new puppy already had figured this bell out. It is awesome! He rings it faithfully when he needs to go out. the louder the bells are rung the more desperate he is! The downside is he's also now learned to abuse the system and rings the bell when he wants to go out and just sit in the sun or go for a walk. so we have to be very consistent and aware of this. if he rings the bell we take him out but if he tries to just lay around we bring him right in and let him go out and sit on the patio. we are doing this in hopes he breaks the habit of ringing it for this type of response and only uses the bells to go potty.

I LOVE these bells! They hooked easily to my sliding glass door. While it's only been up a few days, the dogs are already starting to get the idea. I'm looking forward to the time when they will bump the bells without me there, but I know we are only a short time away.

It's very attractive as well. It's made of a nylon ribbon thin compared to a nylon leash, but sturdy enough that it looks like it will hold up for a long time to come.

I have lab who isn't a big barker (thankfully). We used a bell at the door when we were potty training him because he wasn't vocal about going out. He quickly learned to ring the bell to go out and soon after learned to ring the bell when he wanted or needed something as well, like a cookie or a ball that had rolled under a chair! I love using the bell. Unfortunately, I left one behind on vacation when we took our dog so I replaced it with this one. The neutral color of this is great for my home decor.
