I purchased one of these pet training trays to give it a try. I also purchased the 17x24 wee wee puppy underpads to go along with the tray. The wee wee pads fit this tray perfectly.

When the pad is installed, the edges point up in a groove making a 1/2 inch rim of plastic all the way around the boarder. This makes for very easy clean up when the pad is full. There is no leakage under the pad to the tray. I was so impressed with this tray that I had to purchased 2 more.

I have a 19 lbs sheltie that is home alone all day long while I am at work and sometimes the tray is overflowing, but because the tray makes the pad form a rim all the way arround the boarder, clean up is a breeze.

I would highly recommend this to anyone with small pets. PS I had purchased a different tray that had a grid on the top that eliminates the need for the wee wee pads, but unfortunately, my dog will not use the tray with the grid installed, she does her business beside the tray. And that tray was $50. I truly believe that this is a great buy and it works wonderful.

The tray itself is neat, compact and easy to change. The only drawback is that I use Arm & Hammer weewee pads which are wider than the holder itself. So I have to fold the sides of the pad to fit and this cuts down on the amount of space the puppy can use. However, compared to the other holders, this one is cheaper and does its job. Another benefit is that my puppy used to go on the sides of the weewee pad and would sometimes spill on to my hardwood floors. Since the holder is elevated, there's a LOT less of a chance for spillage, which is great for me and great for my floors.

First of all, before anyone looks at my title and shakes their head in disgust, let me say that pads are shreddable. If your dog stands on this holder and digs...it will shred the pad. If your dog is big enough to grab the pad edge through the sides and shake vigorously, it may be drug around and/or be torn loose. The product itself cannot be blamed if your dog looks at it like a chew toy.

That being said, this is one of the better pad holders I've seen. Other holders I've looked at in pet supply stores had thin edges or no bottom and were going for 15-20 dollars. This one has a nicely rounded and attractive edge with enough thickness to it that my dogs don't like to hang over the edge. It's nicely elevated to distinctly differentiate it from the rest of the floor. And it's solid enough that the dogs don't hesitate stepping on it or feel unsecure when walking about.

I have three chihuahuas...two of them new pups...and this has been a "best buy" for me. My chis were already started on pee pads, but they would constantly walk/slide all through them while playing or occasionally grab the edge of one and beginning running around the room with it. That doesn't happen with this holder. Because of its bulky sides and slight elevation, the chis avoid it while playing just like any other piece of furniture...but it's not so high that they don't feel comfortable getting on. It also prevents side errors as they can't stand half-in and half-out like with something flush to the ground.

The materials are rounded and nicely constructed. The grommets hold the pad securely and taut without stretching or readjusting. It takes all of ten seconds to put a new pad in and snap the lid on. So far the liners have never leaked, but I do appreciate the bottom on these in case there ever were an accidental overflow. The overeall design is aesthetically pleasing, and it's not an eyesore when lying on the ground.

I honestly can't think of a better design without significantly increasing cost or switching to a more traditional litter box. An excellent buy for the money, especially with free shipping. I've now got two, and would recommend this product to anyone wanting an indoor potty system.

***Having now had this for a couple of months, let me add that I'm still extremely satisifed with my purchase. In fact, I wanted to mention one more attribute that I hadn't found until recently. Because of its slick surface and one-piece design, there's very little cleanup if an accident happens to spill over or land on the holder itself. No grooves for little messes to get into. Just a wipe here and there will get it done until it's time for the scheduled washing. Fantastic holder.

I bought this product thinking it would probably be really cheap looking and non-durable due to it's very reasonable price (1/2 of others I'd seen). I was very pleasantly surprised to find just the opposite It is very well made, very sturdy plastic and well-designed. Someone else mentioned their mini-dachshund wouldn't go near it which also concerned me as I have the same breed. She didn't use it at first but when I confined her in a small area with it she did use it and continues to do so. Dachshunds are notoriously difficult to housetrain so I don't think the product was to blame. I strongly recommend anyone considering this to go for it. In fact, I'm on this site to order another that I can put in another room for my pet.

Ok, I admit it, I'm a geek and don't have a cat. I've always wanted an auto-flusher for my toilet ever since I saw my first one at a rest area. If you like machines, you're gonna LOVE this thing! LOL My toilet already sports a Bio Bidet Supreme 1000 that gets you squeeky clean inside and out, so I thought this would be a nice finishing touch. A totally automatic toilet that you don't have to wipe yourself, never need toilet paper, or even flush it when you use it.

I didn't buy the cheaper brand because of the bad reviews, since this didn't have any reviews at all, I figured I could always send it back. No need. The people who sent it had it here in two days. They're out of PA.

It takes about 15 minutes to install it and it is very high quality. Of course, for the price it should be. But in this day and age, high price seldom means quality any longer, but this does deliver it. Perhaps the fact that it's actually made by Rubbermaid explains it.

The wall sensor is wireless (four double A batteries) and the flusher has a four D battery pack that attaches to your wall behind the toilet. It says it'll go 100,000 flushes on a set of batteries and they included the eight batteries. And, they are Duracells! You can actually use the batteries it comes with. That was a very pleasent surprise. It's range is fully adjustable but seems to be just right out of the box, even if men stand to pee.

You can wave your hand at it for a flush, or just let it monitor who's on it and it will flush by itself. No moving parts are underwater so there are no wet seals to leak. In fact, it only has one moving part at all.

I highly recommend it and it's a real kick the first time you use it.

This product doesn't work the way it is intended. I adjusted the distance to be farther, and it stayed at the distance for a while but then the next day it went back to the default 6 inches, (which isn't even the advertised default distance). I called the technical support line and found out that the citykitty company bought a ton of this product from the company who actually makes the product and then slapped their name on it and resold it. The original company does not recommend this product for cats. They sent me a new one anyways (the original company, not CitiKitty), and it also doesn't work for different reasons. The new one only flushes sometimes, even when it senses something. So this product is riddled with problems and Citi Kitty has nothing to do with the product except trying to make a profit. Buy at your own risk!

This product was returned. The description stated that it could flush every 24 hours. I thought this meant it could be set to flush at a certain time each day. Not so. It will flush automatically 24 hours from the last time it was flushed. Not useful if someone checks on the cats once a day. I was hoping that the toilet would be flushed twice a day once by the sitter and once by the autoflusher. Not useful for us at all. NOTE, it recommends changing from the standard toilet "ball flushing" system (which I knew going in and was willing to modify if product had done what I thought it would do).

I purchased this product few days before I had to leave on vacation and received it the day before. My Fiance and I hooked it up according to the directions that were included. Needless to say, we spent literally about 4 hours on this damn thing and could not get it to work. We left for vacation early the next morning and were gone for a couple weeks. After we returned, I contacted CitiKitty and explained the issue we were having. They said that all of their products are tested prior to leaving the warehouse and there is absolutely no way that the product could be defected. They told me to try some things that I already did but I said I would try again. Still does not work. I contacted them back and told them I wanted a new one and they refused to replace the item. They told me that on top of having to pay the shipping fees to return the item, I would have to pay a 50% restocking fee! What?! Now I am stuck with a $190 item that I cannot return because it is past the 30 day mark (after vacation and back-and-forth contact). I can't believe how they can claim that it is impossible the item does not work. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I suggest if you have to buy this product maybe try purchasing from Wal-Mart.com.

For the price, Value Pads were very useful. I have two small dogs, Ariel weights 8 pounds and Crush weights 13 pounds. I trained my dogs to do their business on the pad, Ariel sits in the middle but somehow Crush thinks its okay to urinate on the corner all the time, so it is not the pads fault that they leak.

Male dogs usually think they are doing their business on the pad (just because they put their front two paws on the pad, while the other two are outside) and in reality they are urinating outside. To solve this problem, I bought Washable Whelping & Puppy Pads so that my dogs can do their business on the pad, but if the boy makes the pad leak, it wont fall on the floor.

Value pads serves its purpose, dogs do their business on it and you can just throw it away. Facilitates the cleaning, and it is up to the owner to change the pads everyday, so they wont get full and for sanitary purposes as well. My dogs don't like a dirty pads, so I change it twice a day so their paws dont get dirty and since its two of them its twice the work. I will keep buying this product, since it has made cleaning so much easier (specially since I have two dogs).

My four-pound Yorkie has a doggy litter box he uses inside when he has to go and we are not home. I line the box with washable puppy pads, and then I layer disposable pads on top. This prevents the litter box from become disgusting very quickly, and I don't have to scrub it out as often.

I typically have to change the top layer of puppy pads daily, but when you get so many puppy pads for this price, it's hard to mind.

I purchased these for my pad trained maltipoo but didn't notice that they are smaller than the regular pads (about half the size). Normally, I put down two regular size pads before leaving for work which cost 25 cents each; with these I had to use three to get same coverage area which only cost a penny more. Sasha didn't appear to notice any difference and the pads are very absorbent. Likely won't buy again as the larger pads are a better fit for us. These would be excellent for a toy sized dog.

I was skeptical about how effective this would be on my sweet female German Shorthaired Pointer. If you know anything about them, as birddogs, they are easily distracted and love to run at will, after birds or anything that moves. Since my dog also gets to exercise daily off her leash, where she can run freely for long periods of time, leash walking with me on our neighborhood greenways trail didn't come naturally to her. She used to constantly pull and try to run ahead or sniff all the other people and dogs on the trail.

Literally, from the first minute she had this collar on, she seemed comfortable and didn't pull. Before today, I would walk her straining to keep her in the "heel" position, and I'd be exhausted before I'd gone half the intended distance. Tonight we doubled that distance and both came home happy and feeling great. The collar is very heavy duty, and I probably could have gotten the next smaller size and weight, because I did have to remove a half dozen links to fit her properly. She's nearly full grown at about 50 lbs. I can foresee maybe having to put a link or two back sometime in the future, but probably not soon. VERY IMPORTANT as another reviewer said, type "HOW TO PROPERLY FIT A PINCH COLLAR" into your search engine and look for Youtube videos from other dogowners. The trick is getting the collar to stay in the right position and not allowing it to be too tight or worse, too loose. It was easy after watching two or three others demonstrating it. The collar does not work like a choke collar!! It SHOULD NOT slide over your dog's head when putting it on. It's a little tricky to separate the links to get it on and off, but if I can do it (not having the greatest hand strength,) most people probably can. Good luck and enjoy!

We have a 150 lb cane (cahnay) corso. We kept his old puppy pinch collar but it was weakening. Every time he would scratch his neck he would pop it off.

After getting this collar, I am very confident that it won't pop off. It stays in place a little better than the regular pinch collar, because the prongs face in both ways. However our dog always shakes his head and the collar slides down his neck a bit. Cane corso's have very thick necks so it's hard to find one that stays up top. Each prong is very large and it's already just tight enough so I cannot add or remove another link.

I think the thickness of it makes it a little harder to correct him after he shakes his head and it goes to the base of his neck. When it is up at the top of his neck he really respects it. I might try one size down just because the prongs are so thick that it's a little hard to correct him, but this collar does exactly what I need it to so I'd recommend it to anyone with a giant dog.

Needed a replacement cable for my dogs. I have two dogs, 20 and 25lbs. This works well for them. Not too heavy, they are able to pull it around the yard with no problem. This cable has rusted and has faded to almost white. I don't use the clip on either end, so it is still working for me since I keep a collar permanently on one end. I'd image if you need to use the clip that the rust would make it difficult.

I have an aggressive dog who needs to wear a muzzle any time he leave the house and a dog who eats nonfood items that could be harmful to her. I needed a muzzle that would be comfortable, allow both of them to drink and pant but would also stand up to the wear and tear that an average dogs would inflict on it. I needed it to stand up to being bumped and pushed on when they rolled in the grass or when the tried to eat something off the ground, etc.... Once our lab pointer mix started on seizure meds he went from being food-focused to food-obsessed and he discovered an incredibly convenient, readily available new food source dog poop. (FWIW We feed him appropriately, and his weight and overall health are great). Daily yard maintenance helps to reduce the opportunities, but we have more than one dog, and quite frankly, no matter how diligent we are in scooping, he is more diligent in searching out what we've missed. No training method, advice from our vet, or muzzle, has eliminated the problem, until now.

This muzzle works because it prevents him from getting his mouth close enough to make contact. Other muzzles we've tried, (those that close the dogs jaws but are open on the end) just taught him to nibble rather than gulp. This muzzle creates sufficient distance at the end and has a double barrier (the inner one is removable) that he cannot get around or get his tongue through.

The size 7 is a good fit. Prior experience taught us to loop his muzzle strap through his collar before fastening so I don't know how well it would stay on without that extra step. The only possible negative I have found is that the strap fastens with a standard buckle that is slightly less convenient to take on and off.

This product has made an big difference in our enjoyment of our dog.

Weiss Walkie Dog Training Leash - Large/Black

We have a four year old lab, about 90 lbs, very strong. She has pulled my wife down and we have constantly worried that she will break free and get flattened by a car. We tried the Gentle Leader, a dog trainer, choke collar and a prong collar. None of them really solved the problem. We bought the Weiss Walkie on a recommendation by one of my wife's coworkers, and the difference was amazing. Even when other dogs have enticed her, she is controllable and far more restrained.

Oddly enough, now that we have the big dog controlled, we have become more sensitive to pulling by our smaller dog, about 55 lbs, lab/hound mix. We are buying another WW for her.

Our only quibble? My wife wishes it were available in other colors. Black is fine for me.

Yes, you can use your own leash to make this and I have in the past, but this just seems to work better. I have a 6 year old Golden Retriever that has pulled from day one. We tried other leads, nothing worked. This worked from the minute we put it on her. Seems it's not as invasive to her as other leaders.

My dog pulls, she's very naughty. Walking her on a traditional leash is useless, because really the dog is walking me instead of me walking her. And when a rabbit or a squirrel runs by it's truly distressing.

OK we all know we should have our dog trained to walk quietly on the leash, but let's face it, if you are short on time and have a high energy dog sometimes it just doesn't happen. M dog, as it happens, is good once she's been out for 10 minutes but I have nowhere to let her run and the lst few minutes are just unpleasant for both of us. This leash is an easy way to just go out, take that walk and have a reasonably good walk. Not fancy but it works well I recommend it.

I have a wild and crazy golden retriever who has NEVER been good on leash, despite training and attempts to use other products. I'm a yorkshire terrier breeder. Several years ago I bought two of this size tray, and at the time you could also buy a dbl tray. I bought two dbl trays as well. I love these trays. They are far superior to other pee pad trays. When I went to reorder, the mail order catalog I bought them from had discontinued them. I didn't know they were made by "This is The Spot."

All my adult dogs go on these. I love how easy it is to change them. In addtion the outer frame is small so you utility almost all of the pee pad where in the other trays a lot of the pad is under the frame. You end up with more usable area, yet the overall size is smaller than the white and aqua snapping design. I've found the trays that are hinged, are difficult as the pad gets in the way of the hinge, so you have to fold the pad to get it to fit properly. (While you are fussing trying to get the pads in the puppies are jumping all over you and the pad!) As for the ones that snap together, they should put the snaping sides on the long sides not the short sides. The pad is very easy for the puppies to pull out of the frame. Sometime they don't snap properly.

I sell puppies to a lot of older couples, who don't have the best of balance and this is much easier for them to change than either of the other two styles.

I train all my puppies once they are weaned to go on these. Most of my customers living in condo, apartments, or working full time love the flexability of this system. We bought this because our puppies would drag the pee pads all over and shred them up. We ended up throwing away numerous unused pads because they were used as toys instead of their intended purpose. This holder has completely eliminated the playing with the pads. One dog was fine with the holder as soon as we put it out, but the other was more cautious of it, and had "went" on the floor next to the holder. By the second day though, both were fine with using it. We use Wee-Wee Pads brand and they fit great. The holder is really simple to open and close for changing out the pads as well.

These training pad holders were a switch for us from the 8 separate piece type (4 piece frame bottom and 4 piece frame top). We have used the separate piece type for many years but finally grew tired of the top pieces breaking and splitting and having to replace 4 pieces everytime we changed a pad. We live in a household with multiple small dogs so we have always used three pad holders in one room, side-by-side.

This Nothing Like It Design Training Pad Holder is easier to change in that we only have to remove the one piece top frame to change a pad but there are a few drawbacks:

1. As other reviewers have said, they do not "snap" together. In order to make a snug fit of top and bottom pieces of the frame, we find that putting two

pads in the frame at one time helps to snug up the fit. There isn't really any pad waste since the bottom pad just stays in place and we only replace

the top of the two pads when it is soiled.

2. These pad holders have plastic extensions at the corners that are wider than the actual frame. This does not allow you to have the pad frames flush up

against one another. The extended feet create an approximate 1/2" gap between the two holders. This causes a problem if the dogs happen to squat over the

gap allowing the urine to hit the floor underneath the holders. To rectify this, we put another pad underneath the two side-by-side holders to catch

any possible mishap.

3. These pad holders do not come with any sort of rubber feet. The entire bottom is plastic. Since we set them up on a tile floor, they were sliding

around as the dogs walked around them. To rectify this, I used some double sided carpet tape and slivers of non-skid shelf liner on each of the corners

and this seems to have remedied this problem.

So, as you can see, these training pad holders are far from perfect but workable in order to gain the ease of only having to remove one piece to change a pad. Another advantage is that they are actually made to fit, and utilize, the entire size of a 23" X 24" pad. The 8 piece frames are square and you lose some pad use.

We have a little shihtzu who loves to pee over the edge of his piddle pads. We got him the extra large holder that folds in half in hopes that if he had "enough room" he would stay on it...not so much. He still would go to the edge and pee over. Most of it was caught, but there was always some that would make it's way over and onto the floor where I had another piddle pad to catch it. The whole holder started to smell, even when we tried to clean it out as best we could because of all the nooks and crannies underneath the edges of it. We saw this one, which is the kind my daughter in law uses for her 2 little female dogs, and decided to give it a try. We didn't know if it would be big enough for him, although he had shown us repeatedly that size made NO difference. Anyway, the wee wee pads fit perfectly on this one and it is harder for him to go over the edge. If I keep it closer to the wall, it keeps his little lifted leg on the pad which greatly helps his aim. If he does go over, it is SO much easier to clean because it has a simple edge without any joints or cracks. Absolutely love it! I wish we had gotten this kind from the beginning. Maybe if you have females, the extra large one would work, but with our little male it did not. Another huge plus for us is that we like to change the pads several times throughout the day and it is super simple to do that with this. Just lift off the top, put the new pad down and replace the top. We will never have a different kind.

We have two Maltese pups who are exclusively pad trained. We are very pleased with this tray. The cheap Walmart pads fit securely and it is much easier to change the pads compared to a similar product we purchased prior to this one. The construction is sturdy, and attractive for the sort of item it is. While both pups were willing to urinate on the pad in the previous tray, they were hesitant to poop on it. I think this is because it does not sit as flat on the floor. Both pups have been willing to take care of all their business on this new tray. I would definitely order again if I needed to replace it or add a location. Because we have it located on a hard surface floor, my husband did add some small pads to the bottom at the corners to keep it from scooting.

We have had it for almost a month, so I feel like we have given enough time to make a fair assessment.
