I got this patch for my Service dog's vest. The letters are like the iron on letters that you can purchase from the craft store. The material seems cheap. I am very worried that the lettering is going to peel off or "chip". It's not what I was expecting. The patch has a Velcro on the back for easy transfer of vests. I am just going to sew mine on just in case.

I bought these patches because people kept asking me if the dog id in training...and they work great for that.

Now they ask me, what is the dog being trained for?

I ordered these for a small Chinese Crested dogs service vest. They came in a timely manner and were of decent quality. Easily changed out via the Velcro which is a major plus. They are bright and large enough to be read from afar but not too obtrusive they get in the dogs way. They look professional though a little on the pricey side.

I have not had the vest very long. The vest, itself is very durable and good qualitythe patches are cheap! This is very disappointing. The material is cheap, there is no hem-stop on the edges to keep from fraying (I mean come onit's dog vest! you would think they would be a little more heavy duty...)The patches are starting to come apart around the edges and the paint from the lettering is chipping off. I was going to order more patches but I think I would rather find stitched patches elsewhere.

Smarter Toys IQ Treat Ball Dog Toy

This ball is great for my two and a half year old border collie mix. I give his breakfast through this ball, and it keeps him occupied for 20 minutes total. The ball won't fill up a whole cup of kibble, so I have to fill it up two times. This ball takes him longer and tires him more than the Tug a Jug, which only takes him about five minutes to empty. As he empties the ball twice, he will pant and go lap on some water. It's good to see he's getting some kind of work for his food as opposed to just chomping it down from the bowl with no effort.

The only downside is that a lot of times the lid gets loose even if you close it pretty secure. One time the lid came off completly as my dog was playing with it, exposing all the kibble. To prevent this I used some strength to close the lid very tight, but later I could not open it back up! It took a grown male to open it back.

My dog does not chew on this ball due to the awkward shape and material(hard plastic). I and my dog have dropped this a couple of times on both laminate and wood floor, but I see no crack on the ball so far. It seems durable.

Good ball to make your dog work for his breakfast or dinner.

UPDATE: My dog still loves this toy. With the difficulty setting set to max, it is the slowest treat dispensing toy in my collection(buster cube, tug a jug, kong wobbler). That's good, it lets him burn off more energy.

Also since the ball doesn't hold a full cup of kibble, I would pour half and the rest on his regular food bowl. I place the ball next the the bowl and give a release "OK!". Guess where my dog goes? He runs off with the ball! Even after realizing that there is food in the bowl (He puts his nose inside the bowl for a second and then goes to the ball) where he could just eat it, he perfers to get his food from the ball.

I have a 12 week old golden retriever. This is his favorite toy since it provides him with treats. It's mine because it keeps him busy for a good 30 minuteswhich, as any puppy owner knows, is a long respite from puppy antics. Although the plastic looks like it's a bit weak, it seems to be holding up extremely well. Especially since puppy has learned to pick it up and drop it.

Tips:

*Add puppy's food along with small treats so that he doesn't get an upset tummy.

*If it confuses him at first (mine sat and barked at it) then put all the treats on the top of the toy, closing the 'trap door'. This makes it much easier for him to figure out how to get the treats. As he gets the hang of it, put the treats on the bottom and open the door to the widest, slowly closing it as he gets the hang of it.

This might not be great for you:

*If you don't have a fairly big non-carpeted spaceI don't think it would move too great on carpet. You don't want treats spilling out on your carpeting anyway.

*If your dog is very sedentary. To get the treats, the dog really has to bat this aroundso a sedentary dog may loose interest quickly.

*If your dog is not food motivated(as few dogs as this may be)once again, may not have much interest.

*If you have a very small puppysmall breeds may have difficulty with this as it needs to be batted very hard and it may be too large for them to get it to tip over (is weighted to stay with hole up if not hit hard). However, that depends on how active your puppy is.

This is smaller than I would have guessed. It's hard to get a feel for sizes here but the 5" is a large handful. It has adjustable difficulty, and I use this product to feed my dogs their kibble. Otherwise they inhale their food and get sick.

One of our dogs is easily frustrated, and one is really good with these puzzle toys. For now I have taken the center panel out entirely, as we don't want it that difficult and it allows me to put more food inside. It can hold about 1 cup of food and still be easy enough to screw it back together. With the panel in it will be a bit less. At some point in the future I may put the panel that increases difficulty back in for the more clever pooch.

One of my dogs managed to pop the thing open, but he's only done it once, perhaps it was luck or I didn't screw it tight enough. No damage to the ball. On more than one occasion I've found it difficult to open myself, it's just an awkward size for my hands my husband does not have the same difficulty, the dog drool does have a glue like effect.

If you are looking for a device to slow your dogs eating, this helps. It also helps wear them out a bit and allows them to utilize the scavenge instinct, feeder toys were highly recommended by our dog trainer. I think it's well worth it, but if your like me and have big dogs you'll have to refill them a couple times.

My dogs chew through most feeder toys (a German Shepherd and a Doberman), and they have not done damage to these yet. I try and take feeder toys away before they do damage, but it can happen so fast. The size of these and round shape makes it hard for them to do fast damage. They have tried a few times, but they can't get it into their grinding teeth due to the shape. They can both pick them up, but it's awkward to gnaw on.

Overall I would recommend it. I like to keep a variety of feeder toys on hand and I'm happy to have these in circulation. If eventually they do break it, I will likely buy another. This is our 5th dispenser. Our dogs seem to particularly like it because with the panel out, they can SEE kibble.

I've purchased five different food dispensing toys. The 5-inch IQ Treat Ball, the Omega Paw Tricky Treat Ball, Large, the StarMark Interactive toy, and the Premier Pet Busy Buddy Twist N Treat Dog Toy, Medium, and the Premier Pet Busy Buddy Twist N Treat Dog Toy, Large.

Please note that you cannot clean the insides of the StarMark or the Omega ball. Unless you want old gunk hanging around for months, these two toys will last ... very short. I kept each for only a couple of months before tossing them out. The only two I use to this day are the Premier Pet Buddy, Large, and the IQ Treat Ball.

Of all of these, each one has its benefits and shortcomings:

The Omega Paw Tricky Treat Ball is the perfect material for my dog he's not a huge chewer. It hits the wall and makes a gentle "thud" sound. However, with the new design, the hole that dispenses the food is much too large and dispenses a ton of his treats right from the getgo this is not enough to keep my dog entertained for more than a few minutes! The Omega Ball fits the most food I believe I can get up to a full cup of kibbles into it. Note that the only way to clean this toy is to put water in it and shake. I made the mistake of putting dishwashing liquid in it, shaking, and trying to get rid of the suds. It didn't happen the suds persisted. There's a tiny air hole on the other side... not that that helped get rid of the suds. I threw the toy away.

The Premier Pet Busy Buddy Twist N Treat Dog Toy, Medium is my least favorite. Whilst it also does not make a lot of noise, you can't necessarily control how fast food comes out because it relies on twisting it just rightand when the toy is knocked around, it untwists, and just spills out all the food, too well, at least makes the hole bigger so food comes out much too fast. This is my least favorite food dispensing toy. The Buddy is also the smallest you can only fit 1/4 to 1/3 cups of food in here if you seal it tight. The one great thing about this toy is that you can actually clean it.

The Premier Pet Busy Buddy Twist N Treat Dog Toy, Large, is my very favorite. It's sturdy, food comes out at a decent pace and when my dog knocks it around, it doesn't cause the opening to get bigger. I can put his entire meal inside this toy (unlike the medium size) easily and it's not a huge balancing act to make sure nothing falls out. I can clean it, and it doesn't roll away like the IQ ball into places my dog cannot reach. It's slow rolling so he can guide it easier. Plus, it's quiet and only makes a gentle thud. No matter the size of your dog, get the large. My dog is a 25-28 pounder. The large is much sturdier than the medium.

The StarMark Interactive toy is very large. You can fit a lot of kibbles in there. That's a bonus. Also, you can make the dispensing method more difficult in two places. However, you cannot open the thing to clean it and I certainly would NOT put water in there, as it's odd shaped, and I really don't like what may happen if I try to pour water in there and shake. I would highly recommend that you start with this toy rather than one of the balls if you plan on buying a StarMark toy. The reason for this is that my dog was used to rolling or pushing a toy to get his food out. So instead of gently nudging the StarMark toy, he would try to roll it, which ended up being really loud for me. He has never figured out that you just need to push the top to get the food out and just pushed harder to get the thing to roll.

Finally, the 5-inch IQ ball is perfect in the sense that it lets you control how fast it dispenses, but it's SO LOUD. My dog gets all worked up at the ball and gets very aggressive with it because of the loud noises it makes. He reacts to the noises and I think it gives him anxiety. Not to mention all the loud clanging makes ME have anxiety. I'm worried the neighbors will complain!

Another thing about the IQ ball is that because it rolls so easily and fast and furious when my dog pushes it and it is so small, it often goes under a piece of furniture so that my dog can't reach it. So much for keeping my dog distracted so I can do other things I often have to get up and get the ball for him out from underneath a piece of furniture. This was not a problem once for the Premier Pet Busy Buddy Twist N Treat Dog Toy and not so much for the Omega ball because it rolls more slowly and when my dog pushes it, it doesn't travel that far. Obviously this is not a problem for the StarMark toy, as that toy is quite large.

Finally, the IQ ball only fits about a 1/2 cup of kibbles. There is a white enclosure to manage the dispensing of food. You can fit another 1/4 cup above the white enclosure, but it's a pain because you have to make sure none spills over to the side before twisting hard to explain, but trust me, it's a pain. 3/4 cup of kibbles max, and only a 1/2 cup is easily put in.

When I first gave this to my 5 pound maltese/papillion mix, I thought it was going to be a big success. She is rarely challenged and this seemed to do the trick. However, she is so persistent that she was able to get both of her bottom canines through the outer hole (which is slightly oval shaped and not round thus why she was able to get both canines through). Then she somehow jammed her little jaw through the hole and got the entire piece stuck on her jaw. Although we were watching her the entire time, we didn't even realize she had done this until she starting acting strange trying to wildly buck the ball off of her jaw, rocking back and forth in a sitting position (which she only does when she is nervous or anxious). Only when we tried to take it from her did we realize that it wouldn't come off of her jaw and that it was cutting her and making her bleed. The only way it was coming off (without hurting her further) was to break the plastic piece that was attached to her jaw, but we didn't have anything strong enough (cardboard/carpet cutters didn't even work the plastic is very strong). Luckily, the emergency vet is only about 15-20 minutes away and they were only able to get it off of her after sedating her and using bolt cutters to shatter it! The cut to her jaw also was not bad enough to need stitches or antibiotics, so we lucked out. But she was traumatized by it, and the poor thing was forced to bear the pain of it cutting her jaw and having her mouth open and drooling for about an hour. I think this toy would work for a larger dog, or if the outer hole was round, so, the only reason I'm giving this a low rating is to draw attention to the fact that it is dangerous for very small dogs, especially if they are food aggressive.

We purchased this and just put it together. Easy to assemble. Made well. We adopted a shelter dog and we're having some marking issues. Only when I go to do something else. We put his kennel cage inside of this along with his dishes and he went right in , likes it . When I go out was concerned about him getting to his water . He can do that now.

My new puppy has her own space. Delivery was amazingly fast. The only reason I gave it 4 stars it's because it doesn't have a floor. But given its flexibility and ease of use I do love this product. I use 6 panels instead of the 8 and she loves her area and she's made it her own.

I found this pen to be excellent for whelping maltese puppies and keeping them safe and contained until they had new family homes. The price also is reasonable compared to others and you can change the shape and size of it to accommodate your needs. Right now a German shepard 3 month old puppy is in it and it is still holding up but I do not recommend it for larger breeds. I plan on whelping puppies in it again. Great product.

Our dog is very large, very old, and experiencing old-age incontinence. At night, he will often pee as he's lying on his bed. These pads make things SO much simpler: we lay one down over his bed or, during the day, where he is resting. They absorb a huge amount of urine. These are good pads. Nice and large for our small dogs as they tend to miss the smaller pads. I don't mind if the dogs alert us with a couple quick barks when they hear something unusual. That's part of the doggy job description. When their barking goes on and on, or when they can be set off when a cricket farts; that's when it starts to wear on one's sanity. We had one of these units a few years ago which really worked for the Yorkie, a breed that is apparently hard-wired to bark constantly (per classic breed reputation), but we lost the unit several moves ago and never needed it in the new placid setting. So when the dogs -a Beagle/Aussie mix and a now-senile Yorkie -began to view barking at anything that moves outside the new house as their favorite form of entertainment, something had to happen, and quickly. One day, after enduring yet another prolonged bark-fest, I suddenly remembered this product from before and ordered it that day. Now, my in-laws are visiting, and they commented on how quiet the dogs were even with four men in the front yard re-doing the driveway! That's when I realized the impact of this little machine. I was already confident it would work, so I had just plugged it in on silent mode and thought no more about it. The dogs essentially trained themselves to avoid the noxious sound, and I was no longer provoked to yelling through the house for them to shut up. Now I'm a return customer, ordering one for my desperate in-laws about to go insane with their own bark-addicted pooch.

Unless the individual unit is malfunctioning, this device does work. I'm concerned that some folks are down-ranking the product when it was not the actual problem. A few caveats:

1. Dogs are not like microwaves, so the transformation is not instant. The dog has to un-learn a fun habit, so improvements happen over time. Success requires tolerance for delayed gratification.

2. There are reasons why some dogs don't respond as quickly as others. You may have a strong-willed, neurotic, senile, deaf, or otherwise unique pooch. It may take longer, or it may not be a good training method for your dog's particular personality. There are still no magic cures. Give it time, or send it back.

3. Certain breeds are difficult to train and could take much longer to respond. Shih Tsu's, for instance, can be hard to train due to notoriously low intelligence as a breed. Unfortunately, they may never clue in. See #2 above.

4. If you have a half-dozen (or more) dogs, they're not going to hear anything over their own barking. As a result, this product probably won't work for dog-hoarders. Hoarding is a true illness. If you suspect you suffer from this condition, please get into counseling.

BTW, before somebody starts deciding I'm a troll, I'll just tell you that I'm a physician who practices in a small town in Missouri. I am a loyal Amazon customer. The above story is real. I have four small dogs, three poodles (and we all know how much they bark) and a yorkie. They were driving me crazy, barking at anything that moved outside. We tried the Bark Solver for a couple of days -in response to the tone from the device, the dogs stopped barking immediately, and looked bewildered. Occasionally they would start to bark again, hear the tone, and stop barking.

But we didn't like the effect on the dogs. They started to avoid the living room (where the bark solver was), even though it had been their favorite place to hang out. They still barked occasionally in other rooms. What they learned isn't that they shouldn't bark -but rather that they shouldn't be in the living room at all.

I guess I'd say the solution is a bit heavy handed, because though it works, I didn't like the result. The dogs didn't distinguish between not barking, and not being welcome in the living room. They stopped going there at all.

I had high hopes. I looked at reviews for the product on Amazon as well as some other places and all signs pointed to yes. I purchased the product and installed it and it failed to even register my dog's barking once. Even from a foot away with it at my dog's exact height it did not work for me. Even if it had work it does not work to put it outside which is where I needed it the most. It must be plugged into an indoor outlet which means running a cord through a window somewhere and hoping that there are no electrical problems during rain. And the vinyl protective cover is really just a nuisance. Like I said, I had high hopes and a positive outlook. 0 stars though.

Cloud Star Chewy Tricky Trainers - Cheddar, 5-Ounce Bags (Pack of 4)

Cloud Star's Tricky Trainers are bite-sized, palatable, chewable treats that are approximately 0.5 inches big. They come in three main flavors: cheddar, liver, and salmon. I sampled (well, JP, my dog, sampled) two flavors: cheddar and liver. These treats were perfect sized for putting into a Kong treat dispenser, and were generally palatable (JP finds them much more palatable then dry treats). I found the Tricky Trainers surprisingly more "dry" than most pocket-sized treats, however. In other words, they don't seem to be oily to touch, aren't excessively moist, and have a high anti-squish (i.e., firm) factor. This is beneficial if you're using them as true training treats to reward your dog (i.e., storing them in your pocket). Their con: I found the cheddar smell to be repulsive it has a really strong smell, so if you're cheese shy, avoid. Cheddar is the 5th ingredient (remember, ingredients are listed in descending order of predominance (from most to least). For the other two flavors, chicken liver and salmon are listed first. The other con: the number of calories per treat isn't listed, so we don't know exactly how "low fat" or "low calorie" they truly are. The final con: if you have a super picky puppy that you are trying to train (and are using these as food motivation rewards), these may not work as well as small pieces of hot dog or pieces of freeze-dried liver treats. When it comes to puppy training, finding a treat that your dog can't resist is imperative to get them to train correctly!

These products are listed as wheat and corn free, which is good if your dog has these specific food allergies. That said, if your dog doesn't have these specific allergies, not a big deal. The good news: all ingredients are natural, made in the USA, and the products contain no artificial favors or colors. Overall, a pretty good training treat!

These are great for training. Small enough to fit a bunch in your hand and they don't crumble apart very easy. They smell like brggin strips, so they're good distraction versus a dry, crunchy treat.

We recently purchased a maltipoo puppy and decided to try clicker training her using the cheddar flavored Tricky Trainers as treats. Even though they are relatively small treats to begin with, I can easily cut them into fourths which is a good thing because our dog LOVES these treats. She will do anything for them. In a matter of days we had taught her several tricks. Every time I get the clicker and these treats out, she follows me around waiting for me to start with her training. I am going to try some of the other flavors, and can't wait to see what she learns next. I disagree with the review that the odor is offensive. It smells like beef jerkey to me.

3-PACK Crazy Dog Train-Me! Training Treats Chicken Flavor (3 lb)

I use these in a treat ball for my Silky Terrier every night. To say that he loves them is an understatement.. He "asks" for the trest ball nightly.

I've used lots of kongs in the past but never bought the puppy specific one. I was very glad to see it wasn't too hard for her teeth and gave enough for her to be able to chew out whatever I stuff in there. She loves that it bounces all over the place and treats it much like one of her balls. It's definitely worth the money for a new small breed puppy.

I didn't know they made them this small. I love it. My puppy is 5lbs and its a perfect size for him! We all know that kongs hold up well, so I'm happy!

I got this for my Mom's lil Chihuahua pup, He hasn't stopped chewing it yet. Its now his favorite toy! Though he has lost his puppy teeth, he still acts like it is a teething toy, he goes for hours chewing, playing with it and falls a sleep next to it. It doesn't have to have a treat in it for him, he likes it plain too.

This is the perfect size for our 4 lb Yorkie. It would be VERY nice if the description stated that it is NOT to be used for puppies over 9 months old which the packaging clearly states. Our boy is not too rough of a chewer so I'm not worried since you cannot even see a dent in it after a whole month of his tiny teeth carrying it around and trying to abuse it. This should however be changed in the description!! I do wish that we could pick the color since we were sent a pink one but that is okay I guess (he sure doesn't care). FYI you can barely fit any treats in this thing because of the size but if you are filling with peanut butter it works (we like to freeze the PB overnight and then give it to him).

I bought a similar fleece braided toy at a large dog show last summer and had been looking for another to keep my new dog occupied while first dig hogs the old toy. Most fleece braided toys are just 3 strands which aren't as strong or durable as these with a 4 strand braid. The loop at the end is handy for tug of war and the other more aerodynamic for throwing. Highly recommend!

Premier Manners Minder Remote Reward Behavior Training System for Dogs

I've had this gizmo for about three weeks now. My trainer sold me on it and though I haven't had a chance to fully utilize it, based on my initial experiences with it, I strongly believe it will work very well for the training I'm attempting. That being said, I am disappointed at what I discovered to be a very simple but important engineering flaw. I noticed that at random times, the machine would grind to a stop during maintained dispensing (sit-n-stay mode as they call it). I tried the different size dispensers provided no luck. My kibble is hard and oval in shape, fits well within the hole size of the dispenser, so it was ideal for the machine but was still jamming it. After further inspection, the holes in their dispenser rings had a ridge around the opening which was sometimes trapping my kibble against the edge of the main unit as the dispenser ring spun around. The kibble, pinned against the main unit, caused the dispenser to jam and fail.

To fix this, I took a dremel tool and carved out the side of the edge which was trapping the kibble and now it works like a dream. No issues. I still can't figure out:

1. why they built the ridge out in the area i had to remove

2. why they never caught this issue during the product testing

I recommend purchasing this unit, but if your kibble jams the unit, don't switch your dog food to meet the machine's poor engineering find a friend w/ a dremel or other tool and cut away the outside part of the ridges on the dispenser rings. If for some reason you foul it up completely, you can always buy a spare dispenser ring.

This is a great product. It dispenses treats when a small keyfob type activator is pushed. The dog's focus is not on the treats in your hand but on the machine. This frees up your hand(s) for other training activities. The dispenser works flawlessly and is very well designed.

Note: this unit requires two sizes of battery four D size batteries for the main unit which you'll need to provide, and a 23A for the remote which came included with my unit.

The first day will probably the hardest part of training your dog with the Manners Minder so that's what I'll describe here:

I read the quick start instructions which briefly outline how to set up the unit. I added some kibble and placed the base unit on the floor within my arms reach. I pressed the remote and a couple of kibble dropped into the bowl. The dog and the cat had been sniffing from about a foot or so away both jumped back several feet when they heard the noise the motor makes. I patted the bowl where the kibble was and reassured my pup it was okay, that he could go get the treat from the bowl. Took a minute or two of coaxing but he eventually, timidly approached the bowl and took the kibble. When he backed away to look at the bowl I pressed the remote again sending more kibble into the bowl. They had the same reaction to the motor noise but they didn't back up quite as much this time. I verbally reassured him that it was okay and encouraged him to take the treat. I repeated this several times and after about ten minutes or so my dog lay down in front of the bowl waiting for the treat. I told him what a good boy he was. At this point, each time he stood up to get the treat he'd then lay back down in front of the bowl. I started to wait just a little longer after he lay down so he'd eventually get the idea that he had to lay down before the treat would be released. Within 20 minutes he was in down/stay mode, waiting for the treat and no longer afraid of the motor noise.

I had read many of the reviews here on Amazon and had a good idea of what to expect; I must say I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly my pup became acclimated to the sounds and function of the Manners Minders. I didn't exactly follow the instructions to the letter from the manual but it was just that quick and that easy to get my dog to get comfortable the sound of the unit without fearing the noise it makes to lay dow and stay to get the treat. This had been my biggest concern but in seeing how well day one has gone, I am looking forward to seeing how the results with my dog will continue to improve over time .

The cat on the other hand just sneaks up on it, snatches the treat and runs away with it. We'll work on that :)

Now that I am confident that the Manners Minder will work for my pup I will follow the training method outlined in the full manual. I'll continue to update this review as our training progresses.

UPDATE: Day Two

My dog is raw fed. I am having a little trouble finding treats that work with this unit *and* his diet. I am looking for a dehydrated, close to single ingredient, meat based/grain free treat. In the meanwhile I have been using Zuke's Minis which works very well with the smaller plate of the MM, giving out only one or two tiny treats. The company makes Premier Liver Biscotti Dog Treats, Dog Treats,Wheat/Egg Free Recipe but when I called customer service to obtain the ingredient list, they did not have it and suggested I request it by email. It's been only a day or so since the email request and I have not heard back from them just yet.

I followed the training manuals steps to introduce the "beep" sound which is supposed to give that Pavlov response that a treat is coming but it seems he already figured out that the motor noise means a treat is coming; on low the "beep" is pretty loud and I would rather LESS noise involved with this process so I am not using the "beep" at this time.

Since treats need to remain in the unit even when we aren't practicing, I was concerned that either the dog or cat would try to tip this over and/or figure out how to get the lid open by fussing with it; so far it seems that they cannot get it open or flipped over.

Though I was a little skeptical because of it's original associations w/ Sharper Image, I decided to give this a go.

The only thing wrong with it is that the "dispense" button on the remote doesn't work consistently. It's too bad that that is one of the most important parts of the product(!!!). What a bummer!

I'm unable to use the product at this point, because timing is everything with this training system and I don't want to confuse my pup. I'll have to now order a replacement from Primer.

I do think that once I get my replacement remote, this product will be great; I just wish they had better QA procedures at Premier to avoid these disappointments.

I have a 1 year old yellow Lab and he would start crying a the break of daylight every morning about 5 am. He didnt want to go out he just wanted up. I used only the vibration on him from my bedroom and it only took 3 days before he learned to wait till 7 am. I bought this because it had the vibrations option since I didn't want to shock my dog. It worked while it worked. The dog would get surprised by the vibrations on her neck and that would give me a chance to get her attention but the whole thing is kind of flimsy and it eats batteries like crazy. I had to replace the batteries every 3 days and I wasn't even using it much. At times it would stop working so I had to take it apart to remove the batteries and after a couple of weeks I just gave up and let my dog do whatever she wanted to do.

I purchased this product from a different website, when I also ordered other items, so the shipping wasn't so bad at that point. But is a good price here on Amazon and am looking for a vendor to restock my supply. This product gets a 5 star for the cats Quiet Moments gel. I only gave it 4 stars here because I don't purchase small items like this when the vendor wants as much for the shipping as they do for the product itself. Its a small item that could be dropped in a small insulated envelope. No need for the high shipping. It works well for all four of my cats and all four love the taste. I just squirt about a half inch on each of their paws and they lick off and love the taste. One of them comes back wanting more. I used it for Christmas travel for a kitten and it saved my sanity in the 8 hour drive. Its isn't overwhelming and is natural ingredients. If I deliberately woke him up he would have still woke up. Still looking around for decent shipping cost for the one item or will wait until need several items from the same vendor.

I have now used Natur Vet on our anxiety ridden cat and have had good results. Whether or not she actually likes the taste I couldn't say because the smart (only) way to give this to a cat is put some on the top of their paws. NO CAT will ever leave that there and will lick it off to clean it off therby ingesting it.

No problem trying to mix it with food, get them to lick it off your finger, etc.

I got this product on the recommendation of a friend that said her cat loved it and would lick it off her finger and it worked really well to calm him before grooming. Neither of my cats like it so I have to put it on their paws so that they can lick it off. To see them, you would think that I was putting hot tar on their paws. They get so upset and spend so much time licking it off that I don't see the same benefits and grooming remains a battle. This is not a condemnation of the product. It is an unfortunate result of my cats not liking the flavor. Neither of my cats liked it. The directions say to give it to them on your finger and let them lick it off, but they're not interested. It is really sticky and smells like maple syrup. I tried to trick them by mixing it with their wet food. One fell for the trick, but the other (the one who needs it more) won't touch it. The one that did eat it seems calmer. She is the one who will meow all night if no one snuggles with her. Since there is less meowing from her, I am giving this product two stars rather than none if you can get them to eat it, it seems to help the attitude issue.
