This is one of my dog's favorite toys. She had one that I got at a pet store and finally trashed it but I could not find it anywhere but amazon this time. Happy I did.

Product arrived without the top and could not be used. Company just told me to order another one. Made of a material that if product was dropped on a floor by pet it would crack. Bad choice for a toy especially for a yellow lab

This is a quality product. I used the pink version of this large Treatstik (9.75" long) to feed my 50lb. border collie one of her 2 meals a day of her dry kibble. It both entertained her and slowed down her too-rapid eating. (The Treatstik was recommended by name to me by a dog trainer for this purpose.)

Treatstik is well made of thick, hard, sturdy nylon that is smooth, with no sharp parts. Even the hole treats are dispensed from has smoothed edges. Our border collie passed away a couple of weeks after we got the Treatstick (from a pre-existing auto-immune disorder), so I cannot speak to how long it would have lasted. Of course no dog toy is indestructible if you have a super-strong chewer, and I can't say what a stronger/larger jawed chewer than mine would do with it, but this toy is so sturdy and well made that I fully expect that it would have lasted for years with my dog: she did not seem too interested in chewing on it, mainly just knocking the food out (which occupied her for quite a while, but was not so hard to do that she became frustrated & felt the need to chew it open). I might add that she worked on it quite vigorously, pawing hard at it and knocking it into furniture. There were no furniture scratches since the toy is so smooth, but over time it could mar delicate furniture, of course. But we're dog people, so we're used to this, eh? I toss throw pillows or towels in front of certain furniture legs, etc, when I give my dog this inside.

I've looked at all the treat/food dispenser toys I can find in stores and online, and I've bought several, but this is the only one I've continued to use. Unlike the others, Treatstik is very easy to fill through its large opening; even my sore hands can screw the cap on/off easily (cap even has smooth ridges that help grasp it with wet hands); cap stayed on while my dog played with it; and it's very easy to wash by hand, or it's dishwasher-safe.

Note that the Treatstik website says it is not for "toy" dogs: the hole that dispenses the treats is by my measure approximately 3/4" long by 1/2" wide oval. The small size Treatstik (6" long) has the same size hole. So I believe your dog might be a bit safer if she has lower canines farther apart than ¾" (the latter is just my opinion).

The large Treatstik holds up to 1.5 cups of treats or kibble, and the smalll size holds ½ cup. Although the large size that I already have works fine with my 14lb mini poodle, and she loves it (I supervise her with it, and her lower canines are wider than the hole), I plan to order the smaller size simply because I plan to give the large one to a friend who has a big dog. My little dog eats only 1/3 cup kibble per meal, so I don't need the large size anymore.

UPDATE 10/25/12: I've been using the small Treatstik for several days now with my miniature poodle (14lbs, 11" tall at shoulder, bordering on small enough to be called a toy, but with lower canines wider than the hole). Both sizes have the same size treat dispensing hole, and both are the same excellent quality construction. I thought that the small would be better for this much smaller dog to handle, but I have decided that I prefer the large one that I already have, even for my small dog. The smaller toy is so much narrower in diameter in the part where the dispensing hole is, that if I put her entire 1/3 cup kibble in it (it has a ½ cup capacity per manufacturer), my dog feels she might be able to reach the kibble by just lying down & chewing at the hole to get to the food something she never even tried with the large version, and not what I want her to do with this toy. So I have to feed her the 1/3 cup in 2 installments, a minor nuisance (but not an issue if you're only using it to feed a few treats at a time). Also, I had thought that she would be able to pick up & tilt the smaller version to get every last kibble out, which she couldn't do with the larger one since it was too thick for her small mouth to pick up. However, she still can't pick up the fatter end of the small one, which is where she would need to grasp it to tilt it to get the food to fall down to where the hole is (she frustrates easily & won't experiment with creative ways to tilt it)so she has the same problem with both sizes, causing her to get frustrated & give up on getting the last 6-10 pieces of (very small bites size) kibble out. This is not a big problem since I always supervise her while she uses it, so whichever size Treatstik we're using, I just shake the kibble down to the hole for her a few times toward the end of play. So both sizes work pretty much the same for my small dog, except that I can put her whole meal at one time in the large one, and the small one just requires a refill part way through, so just a little more involvement on my part.

This is just my take on it. My dog gives up easily & never goes back to toys that frustrate her, but some small dogs might work at the small Treatstik until they figured out a way to tilt the food out which might even be a good thing to keep them busy longer?

Please forgive the long wordy review. I wanted to give as much detail as possible, since this is a relatively expensive toy I wish I'd known all this before I invested in the 2nd one that I ended up not needing.

I got this harness and leash set for my cat who weighs around 10-13 lbs. She looks so cute in it and the medium fits her fine. The material feels strong. I tried pulling it to see if she could possibly break the mesh but it doesn't feel like it's going to break. It's not a stretchy mesh, but more of a hard mesh. The company also threw in a free little dog toy that I gave to my dog. I am giving this 5 stars.

**Edit: My cat can easily get out of this harness even when I tighten it all the way. Be careful when using this with cats if you plan to take them outside in it.

I recently purchased 2 of these collars for my dogs to wear in the evenings. We have a large backyard and my small dogs, especially the black one, easily disappear into the shadows when out for an evening run. Both of these collars seem to function well and definitely keep my dogs visible. I'm unable to rate these 5 stars though, as they are nearly impossible to open. The plastic clasps on both of these are so tight that I could barely open them once. There's no way I could possible open them while my dogs were wearing them without potenitally choking them. Because my dogs are tiny, I can actually slide the smalls around their heads, but need to clip the collar to their usual one to keep them from shaking them off. This will still suit my purpose well enough, but it's definitely not a fully functioning collar. Beware!

I bought this collar in pink for my 8 week old black goldendoodle. Even though it's a couple inches too big for her, she will grow into it quickly. We have a big yard with a hill on the side and she likes to go up there at night. Before we got the collar, we couldn't see her but now we can keep great track of her when it's dark out. This collar really delivered. It arrived promptly, and other than pulling out the clear film strip to activate the battery, was ready to go. The multi-function option of chasing lights, blinking,(fast,slow or steady) was nice too. I bought both pink and blue, the colors are bright, vibrant and clearly visible. My children took the dogs trick-o-treating with the collars blinking and everyone commented on them. They work exceptionally well camping, lasted for hours out at Glamis in the desert. You can spot your animal from quite a distance. I have still not replaced the batteries. I don't usually leave the collars on the dogs full time at home, because frankly they are so cool, I want them to last. My dogs (Golden retrievers & one chi) yank each other's collars alot. Dog Rocks to Prevent Lawn Burn Patches

We were landscaping our backyard and made the last minute decision to install sod over artificial turf. Our landscaper told us about this product, so we purchased and tried for a month (using our front lawn as a guinea pig) and we were pleasantly surprised that it did work! We have 2 60lb English Bulldogs (a girl and a boy) and used two rocks in their main water bowl for about 5 weeks. We have been using Dog Rocks to reduce the yellow marks in our back yard. Been using this about 2 months now and just ordered our second rock. We have one 16 Lb. King Cavalier Charles Spaniel named Cooper, not a huge dog so can't speak to how well this product would work with a bigger dog. The product seems to work very well for our purposes. We have one rock in a Drinkwell automatic water bowl, so all you have to do is change the rock every other month and that's it. Cooper didn't even notice a change in how the water tasted pretty simple solution.

I have not bought this product nor would I but it is amazing to me that people would worry more about the product working than the harm it may cause their dogs. Anything that would alter the nitrogen, ph or salt in a dogs urine would kill the dog. Dogs produce "waste" for a reason. Altering its output can be dangerous to the dog's health. I serously doubt this product changes the urine output of a dog, but if it does, it is dangerous. The best thing to do for a lawn is to dilute the urine by watering the area OR do what I do....create a designated dog area (with sand or pea gravel surrounded by a low wall or decorative edging) and train your dogs to go in that area only. it takes just a few days to weeks to train a dog to use the designated area. My dogs will actually get out of the pool, or stop playing, run across the yard and use the designated dog area to go potty. This way, I don't have to worry about stepping in land mines in the grass and people can walk barefoot in the grass without concern. The designated area is also easier to clean up. I spray it down once a month with an enzyme product that has live microbes that break down the bacteria.

Be an advocate for your dog and do research before buying such a product.

**UPDATE** OCTOBER 10, 2012

I have requested and just finally received the so-called test results from this company in the UK. Apparently the US branch of this company does not reply to emails so I reached out to the parent company in the UK and finally received "data". I received this info AFTER I was told that they needed to speak to me by telephone prior, to explain the results. It was not until I assured them, that being an engineer, I was capable of comprehending such data. Nonetheless, the results claimed by this company are neither scientific nor valid by any standards.

I stand by my original opinion: This product does not work; if it did, it would be harmful to dogs.

The information I received was one page of a three page urine test for ONE dog, Max. (The company representative `claims' that Max has been using dog rocks for over 12 years). Where are the other 2 pages? I also received a one page blood test for the same dog, Max.

Neither of this information is useful in any way. This company seems to imply that pH is responsible for lawn "burn" however it is the nitrogen and the salt in urine that causes the burn, not urine pH.

They also sent me water test results showing pH of water with and without dog rocks. Again, useless data considering that drinking water pH has no effect on urine pH.

They also sent "results" regarding the percentage of owners reporting effectiveness using real and placebo rocks. I am sorry if I am a skeptic but I am not accustomed to just taking a company's word for something especially since this company has a financial stake in the consumer accepting such information.

Partial urine test results and blood work from one dog do not constitute valid scientific proof that dog rocks are safe.

Where is the study data showing urine and blood test results from a control and placebo group of dogs?

Ph does not affect the grass. It is nitrogen and salt. Where is the data showing this info?

Since it is the nitrogen and salts that causes grass to "burn". Altering the nitrogen or salt output of a dogs urine would likely kill the dog.

Unless they can prove otherwise with scientific proof 1) the product is not harmful, 2) the product works...then I stand by my opinion:

This product either doesn't work, if it does work then it is dangerous to the dog.

I have no agenda or stake in this company. I am simply tired of no oversight for pet products. The US FDA has issued numerous warnings regarding chicken jerky that is currently sold in many popular stores yet nothing is being done to ensure the safety and health of our pets.

I hope that this is a wake up call for pet owners to be an advocate for your pet. If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

Simple Solution Stain & Odor Remover, 32 Ounce

If your pet engages in, er, "inappropriate elimination," normal cleaners don't do the trick to get the smell out. This stuff works pretty well, although it seems to take a few days for the smell to really fade. I believe there are other similar products that may work just as well, but I liked this one because I was able to purchase it for a good price ... and I got a handheld UV light at the same time. I got a kick out of crawling around the house like Grissom from CSI, looking for all the cat pee. Of course, the thrill of that activity wears thin after a while.

I steam cleaned the couch a few times which helped somewhat but still the odor remained. At that point I was at my wit's end with it and decided to try the internet for some advice and came across this product.

I sprayed a heavy coat of Simple Solution on the couch just before I went to bed. The next morning I was amazed at the results. The pet odor was gone!

I should note that for cleaning purposes I didn't find this product to be extraordinary but for it's unbelievable usefulness as an odor remover I have to give it 5 stars overall.

There is no telling how much Febreeze we've bought over the last couple years but Simple Solution put it to shame. Anyway, I'm raving too much and starting to sound like a commercial lol. With a good marketing campaign behind it, this product could do really well. After using it, I'm a believer.

Excellent product. If this is not eliminating the odor it is not being used correctly. To completely eliminate odor you must use an amount of product equal to the amount of the original stain, if a cup of urine soaked into the carpet and sub floors it will take a cup of product to saturate just as deeply to eliminate the stain/odor. I have had great results using this on pet and human accidents. Just miss the concentrate, why is no longer available?

This is the first product review I have ever felt compelled to submit. This product absolutely does the job as it claims. I have light colored carpet and a puppy who is doing his very best to learn my house rules. When the little guy chooses a convenient spot in the house to answer nature's call instead of outside in the Colorado snow or on a pad in one of the bathrooms this product completely eliminates all trace of it, including the odor. Dogs return to their same odor and he NEVER returns to a spot that has been cleaned with this stuff. Fruitables Pumpkin and Blueberry Dog Treat, 1.4-Ounce Bag

I just ordered this after seeing it in my specialty pet food store. It's a tad expensive but I can understand why. I can totally read and understand all the ingredients! And my picky dogs both LOVE it. I also like that they tell you the calories per treat (8.8 if you're wondering) so I can better keep track of my dogs daily caloric intake.

The fact that it comes in small pouches also is great so you don't open an big pouch and let it go stale.

My only criticism of this product would be how much the label recommends for small dogs. I would never give my dog 16 treats per day!!! That's almost half of one of my dog's entire day's needs and almost 2/3 of my smaller Maltese's needs!!!

Oh, and a 2nd criticism: although it's called the "pumpkin and blueberries" treat, if you look at the ingredient list, blueberries are second to last on the list...which means very little blueberries. Slightly misleading in my opinion. It would be more correct to say "pumpkin and oatmeal" or "pumpkin and molasses" or anything else besides blueberries.

But overall, I will be using these instead of baking my own.

Buyer beware. There are very few treats in the package. I did not notice the size and paid a similar price in a store for a 7 oz package. My dog likes them but Amazon has terrible prices on this product.

I was really disappointed in this product. The name says blueberry but this is almost the LAST ingredient, before vanilla and after inferior stuff like potatoes and oil. Save your money and DONT buy these.

I have had several house trained dogs for 15 years and these are the most absorbant pads I have found. They are more expensive but worth the extra cost because less expensive products are not as absorbant and require more frequent replacement. Also, cheaper pads bunch up when they have been urinated on and leak through.

This muzzle is very stiff and just doesn't give a good fit, I think. My very active, 8 month old bulldog had it on for about an hour -then somehow she managed, at some point, to work the muzzle strap around and off to a position where she chewed the leather strap that goes from the nose to the back strap. Destroyed the muzzle's fit within no time at all. Muzzle is now useless. I think this muzzle is designed to use with a leash for a proper fit -I need a muzzle just to have on her head without the use of a leash because my pup is dog aggressive with other dogs I own. I do not recommend this one.

The caps that I received are not like the picture at all. There is no protruding handle like shown. Instead I have to use a screwdriver to turn the cap to secure it on and off. Very inconveinient. The true Havahart replacement caps are like the picture shown. These are definitely generic caps. They do fit the collar and stay secured to the battery compartment.

My dog's collar wasn't working for some reason, and the most plausible reason was the cap, it does wear out after about 6 months, but thankfully the replacement is fairly inexpensive. The collar started working again right away,

The caps we received are "flush" fitting and do not have the "ears" that stick out to twist them in or out with. They are NOT just like the picture on the website! It is very hard to get them on or off the collar, and we often have to resort to using needle nosed pliers to get the collar open and replace batteries!

Plush Dog Mat

It looks like it's made well, the stiching looks strong, but my dogs are not chewers. BUT-It's not really a "mat" more of a very thick blanket. I was expecting something that the dogs couldn't easily push aside while in their crates. It says it's "filled" but from what I can feel it isn't filled very much. I got these to put inside the crates in the van as we travel to dog shows quite a bit and I wanted my dogs to have something to lay on for long trips, but like I wrote before, it's more of a blanket in that it's so flimsy and can be easily bunched up and pushed aside by the dogs, it even gets bunched up when my dogs just walk in the crate and turn around. I have other crate mats that are only an inch thick but they cannot be pushed to one side by the dogs, and they cost a lot less money (I bought those at dog shows years ago and too bad they're not sold anymore). I think for the price, these slumber pet plush mats are much too flimsy, and really shouldn't be called "mats".

Unfortunately, the mats arrived and although nice quality, were not what we were looking for. Upon e-mailing the company for return information on March 2, I have yet to receive a response (now March 12). I have now e-mailed a follow up note...will see what that brings. Right now, I would only order this product if you are POSITIVE you won't need to return it.

PETSAFE ULTRASONIC BARK CONTRL

If you have one or two dogs...I think this unit would be great! This unit seems to be working well for the two big dogs in the house but it is doing very little to halt the little dogs from barking when someone comes to the door. You can see them shake their head when they hear the noise but seems like it is not quite enough to make them stop.

On the positive side....you REALLY can see that it is making a sound that the dogs can hear...and it HAS stopped the big dogs from any barking at all. I guess it was not designed to halt an entire pack....at least....not 4 little dogs.

My German Shepherd would bark incessantly while in her crate. She would bark at people walking by and just to hear herself bark. She was completely out of control. I was reluctant to purchase a bark collar and thought I would try this instead. It works! It put a stop to the barking immediately! No training required. The dogs only took moments to get used to the band across their noses and then they were totally enjoying their walk without any pulling. Gentle Leader Quick Release Headcollar: Medium, Fawn

After, one of my young 46 lb pit bulls (ball of muscle ) snapped my wrist backward, while on a collar and leash, at the vet's and sent me to the emergency room, I started using the Gentle Leader. The greatest thing, I have ever found. People are amazed when the little 5'2" lady walks thru PetSmart with the two hulking Pit Bulls now over 68 lbs. each with just a head halter on and a continuously slack leash.

It is amazing that something so simple, so tiny, so fragile looking, and so humane could affect so much change, so quickly, and so easily.

Doesn't really work, cheaply made, Not worth the money, disappointed in the gentle lead quick release headcollar....do not buy it.

Peter Pads Dog Belly Bands Pack of 3 - Happy Face & Plain - MD (14"- 17.5" long x 4" wide)

These pads are great. I have an 8 year old Yorkie who has been wetting in the house his entire life. I never knew about these pads until recently when I found them online by accident. He didn't like them at first but he has gotten used to them and they work great. Even when he wets in the pad, it is absorbed and doesn't get on the floor saves me a lot of cleaning. I bought 3 packs so that I always have a clean one to put on him.

Yeah they don't work so great for my puppy, he tries to get them off constatnly, they aren't wide enough for him since his groin area is so close to his but it bunches up, and he pees right through them. However, sometimes just having it on him makes the urge go away because he does it less.

The Other End of the Leash: Why We Do What We Do Around Dogs

Owning an embarrassing number of dog training/behavior books and having kept Border Collies for a long time, I feel qualified to say that if you only bought one book on canine behavior, this would be it. Dr. McConnell provides a clear and lucid explanation of why dogs behave and respond as they do -all the while being careful to make note of the ambiguities and idiosyncratic nature of both canine and human behavior. There are no 'magic formulas' here. But there are many guidelines and explanations of why some things tend to work, while others tend not to. The strength of this book is that it provides an understanding of why dogs respond, allowing the reader to refine his/her behaviors to better communicate with dogs. This focus on human behavior and how dogs interpret it provides unusual insight into effective interaction and training. Extensive experience and academic preparation in animal behavior and communication have provided McConnell with an exceptional understanding of how much of what we do in interacting with dogs is actually counter-productive because dogs see the world quite differently than primates do. Changing some of my behaviors after reading this book, I could almost see my three Border Collies thinking, "Well, about time you figured that out."

"The other end of the leash" is a book that could easily disappoint the purchaser if they did not know what they were buying. This is not a book on the practicalities of how to train your dog. Ms McConnell does not tell you how to make spot sit, down or fetch, or tell you how to teach him competition obedience. It is also not a book on the theory of teaching dogs, or on fixing behavioural problems. You will not hear about the benefits of positive reinforcement versus punishment in this book, or learn how to stop your dog from chasing the postman.

However, if you accept this book for what it is, it is truly wonderful and quite unique. "The Other End of the Leash" is simply a informal discussion on the similarities and differences between canine and human communication. McConnell has studied human behaviour as well as dog behaviour, and has come to the conclusion that many behaviours and verbal tones that seem friendly and natural to humans are aversive to our canine companions.

When used inappropriately, these human signals can trigger a fearful or aggressive reaction in dogs. Less seriously, using inappropriate body language or vocal tone can undermine our obedience work. When teaching a recall for example, signals that might seem appropriate to a human (leaning forward, looking directly at the dog and barking a loud cheerful "come!") can in fact inhibit the dog from approaching.

This book also contains one of the most sensible discussion of dominance that I have ever read. McConnell contends that dominance is a much misused but still useful concept. She discusses the way that we can mistakenly give up our "Alpha" status to our dogs by using the wrong body language, and explains the severe behavioural problems that can be caused when we do this. Most importantly, she tells us how we can earn back Alpha status without resorting to physical violence. However unlike some other dog trainers ("Dog Listener" Jan Fennell springs to mind!), McConnell does not try to ascribe every behavioural problem to a lack of human dominance or leadership. She is careful to include anecdotes about dogs that were misdiagnosed as having dominance issues when they were merely untrained, and explains how this misdiagnosis actually exacerbated their behavioural problems.

Her explanations of canine body language are excellent, and far superior to any other book of this type on the market. Unlike many other dog trainers Turid Rugaas, for example McConnell discusses the body language of aggression and fear as well the language of submission and "calming". This information is essential for anyone dealing with a potential aggressive dog.

The only complaint I have with this book is that McConnell appears to deal mainly with herding breeds, and although she briefly mentions a few other dogs in the book (mostly retrievers and a few smaller terriers), her anecdotes are mostly about border collies. This bias is relevant as border collies are a breed that was developed to work closely with humans, and specifically selected to be alert and sensitive to the nuances of human and animal body language. I know from experience that some of McConnell's conclusions aren't necessarily going to be quite so accurate with other types of dog for example, dogs that are bred to guard, dogs that are bred to fight, and dogs that are bred to work independently of humans.

Patricia McConnell is probably best known the co-host of Wisconsin Public Radio's "Calling All Pets." But she has also written a series of books. "The Other End of the Leash" is probably the best known. As an ethologist specializing in canines, she brings a different, professional viewpoint to people's relations with their pets.

Her point is simple: dogs and humans both communicate, but because we are very different animals, we often misread each other's nonverbal cues. The nonverbal greeting signals for a human, for example, are threat signals to a dog. What she does is help dog owners learn to send the nonverbal messages they intend to their dogs, to speak to dogs in the nonverbal dialog that dogs understand.

It's an important, even critical point, in dealing with dogs. Mixed signals, unintended signals and the wrong signals can confuse a dog, and even trigger hostility and attack. It's especially important for stranger dogs. Her points can help you a lot in dealing with dogs.

But what this book isn't is a primer on training your dog. It's a guide to dog behavior, it's not a book on how to train your dog. Make no mistake, Dr. McConnell's insights can be of immense help to you in training and dealing with dogs. A dog that is relaxed and comfortable, that isn't getting the wrong nonverbal signals, is easier to train. But it's not a training book.

As other reviewers have noted, sometimes Dr. McConnell repeats her points a few extra times. Perhaps it is a consequence of dealing with difficult dogs and difficult dog owners for a long time. But that's a minor annoyance. This is a valuable useful book to anyone with a difficult dog or any dog owner who wants to understand his or her dog better.

Not only is this book filled with helpful suggestions about how to better communicate with dogs, it's loaded with tips about how to choose one! I wish I'd read this BEFORE getting my puppy I'd have been more careful about selecting a breeder. I'd have made better use of that small window of opportunity puppies have to be properly socialized if only I'd known about it before the window closed! I'd have chosen my puppy more carefully i.e., not based the decision merely on breed, gender and looks, but on the puppy's disposition and ability to tolerate frustration.

"The Other End of the Leash" is so much more than a how-to book on human canine communication. It's a well-written, reads-like-a-novel page-turner that's filled with interesting vignettes and useful information. McConnell's love for dogs and respect for their owners shines through brilliantly. When I finished this book, I had that 'aaahhhh' feeling I get when I've read a thoroughly satisfying novel.

My pup and I love everything Zukes. We were big fans of Zuke's Mini Bakes so we thought we'd try this new Zuke's product. We ordered the Very Berryz flavor and we were not disappointed. The ingredients are great and about 50% of the items on the ingredients list are organic, which I love. My dog enjoys these treats and happily trains with them.

The one issue for us is that they are a little big. My boy is 15 lbs and it takes him too long to eat one of these (when given whole) to use effectively for a training session. So i have to break them up before a training session which I find a little difficult to do the cookies are a bit hard and they crumble a bit when broken. For larger dogs, I imagine this would not be an issue. In other words: Zuke's (if you're listening) I'd love to see this product in mini-bakes formulation! i have posted photos of the size difference of this product versus the mini-bakes for reference.

Also of note, this box is 14 ounces versus the 16 ounce box of mini-bakes. The cardboard product boxes are the same size, but the weight is clearly labeled, so it's not that I feel misled, but wanted to point out that you are getting less product.

Updated to add that my dog loves these treats so much, that after examining the ingredients and finding them to be vegetarian, both my partner and I tried a little piece of the treat! i was surprised that they are not especially sweet even though they have molasses in them. It reminded me of the crackers called Wasa Crisps.

Received this carrier after 7 days, missing the side clip and the water dish. Can't get a replacement in time for a trip, so I'm returning it. Just as well. It's REALLY cheaply made. The thickest plastic, where the top and bottom meet, bends very easily. Once you add your pet's weight, I don't think it's sturdy enough. I'll spend a few more dollars and get another Petmate, or something comparable.

I ordered this crate to use in the car for my havanese puppy. I just needed something to set on the car seat to take him back and forth to day care. I wasn't expecting much based on the price and on other reviews, but it failed to meet even my lowest expectations it's very flimsy I'd be afraid to lift it even with a 4-pound puppy inside. I'm keeping it as I don't want to spend the money on return shipping, and it will meet my needs if just left on the car seat, but if you are looking for a decent, well-made crate, I would suggest you spend the extra 10 or 15 dollars on a varikennel or something comparable.
