If you have one or two dogs...I think this unit would be great! This unit seems to be working well for the two big dogs in the house but it is doing very little to halt the little dogs from barking when someone comes to the door. You can see them shake their head when they hear the noise but seems like it is not quite enough to make them stop.
On the positive side....you REALLY can see that it is making a sound that the dogs can hear...and it HAS stopped the big dogs from any barking at all. I guess it was not designed to halt an entire pack....at least....not 4 little dogs.
My German Shepherd would bark incessantly while in her crate. She would bark at people walking by and just to hear herself bark. She was completely out of control. I was reluctant to purchase a bark collar and thought I would try this instead. It works! It put a stop to the barking immediately! No training required.
