I carry the whistle with me around my neck. I alow her to run free with other dogs through a wooded area. When I am ready to retrieve her I blow a couple of times and she returns immediately.

I love that this is dishwasher safe. I was very excited to try different foods in the tube. I am a professional dog trainer and I am always looking for new ways to deliver reinforcers. I only took one star away because it can be messy to fill but otherwise, I love the treat toob!

Pros:

Silicone is easy to squeeze and dishwasher safe

Nozzle is well-designed, and dispenses treats with very little mess

Works better than other food tubes that are designed for camping rather than dog training

Cons:

Too small!! 3 oz was only enough to train my large dog for a few minutes. Would work well for small breeds, but large dogs or long training sessions will require multiple fillings.

A little difficult to fill--although it's easier to fill it with a butter knife.

Overall, I would recommend this product, because it's better than anything else I've tried. I just wish the company would introduce a large size that's actually large. I use canned food, so it'd be really nice to be able to fit a whole (small) can into the toob.

Had a little trouble syncing transmitter with reciever, directions were somewhat hard to follow, almost gave up, finally got it charged, and synched and works great!!

This product is OK, But the battery that came with the remote doesn't fit. I had to buy a name brand battery to fit, and also the battery connection is not tight.

The TaoTronics TT-PT10 350 Meter Range Remote Control Weatherproof Dog, is a great training tool to use for your dog. I do not recommend this for any dog. This device is for medium to large dogs only. After weeks of use, I have found it to be quite helpful for training our hunting dog to follow commands with ease. This is also a great tool for going on walks with your dog so he/she does not stray to far. The only downside I have found is it is only ranged at 350 meters. But if your dog is that far off, your not doing a very good job so not really a big deal. I will post a video review later on

This product has helped alot with keeping my dog in my yard. It took a bit to learn how to use it properly (directions not very clear), but once I realized I could press and hold the buttons for beep, vibration and shock my dog doesn't go very far. The minute I either press the beep or vibration he turns right around and comes right back. He now knows when he doesn't come back he will get a shock and I am sure he has figured out he doesn't want that. Would highly recommend. Four stars only because of the directions.

This product is good so far although the collar is gigantic. I don't have a big dog (25 lbs) and I'm having a hard time picturing a dog big enough for this to fit on properly. I'm currently looking for a normal buckle type collar to try and fit this on. The 7 shock levels are good and yes I tried them on myself, but I only intend to use the vibrate function. I wish the vibration was stronger though. It's about the same as your iPhone vibrating....which isn't strong. My dog gets pretty focused on things like other dogs passing the yard and the vibrate does nothing to get his attention. I wish this function was adjustable like the shock function in order to customize it to the dog.

Leather Two-Handle Leash

I have 3 leerburg leather leashes, and each one has survived my 100+pd occasionally cantankerous Rhodesian Ridgeback. I started with the puppy leash which underwent months of teething + attempted tug of war, then i moved on to another because i needed a leash with more "grip" (puppy leash still in tact + plan to use on an upcoming pup) and weight as my boy hit his teenage years, and for the past year I've been hooked on the 2 handle. I LOVE THIS LEASH! so handy, allows greater control, superb quality leather in good standing, rivets havent failed, stitching still looks good. When the leash arrives the leather will be firm, but it softens to butter in no time! My friends have spent a pretty penny on leashes at fancy pet stores, but our leerburg leash always looks best. I wish they made leather reins for horses!!

Unfortunately I have had to use doggie diapers on my small dog for the past year. I've tried a few different kinds.

Most are cut to fit comfortably with a small hole for the dogs tail. For some reason the cut of this diaper did not work for us. The hole was too low and when you wrapped the tape around to secure the diaper the hole for the tail was in the wrong place.

Esky 4in1 Dog Training Shock and Vibration Collar

Works well but had to glue "transformer thing" to collar. It kept falling off.

Remote battery lasts but collar batteries, not so well.

I had this for my dog and it worked very well, especially for the price. The 9 volt battery that was included lasted a year in the transmitter. I used rechargable batteries in the receiver and they lasted 3-7 days, depending on how much the receiver was used. You can hear the vibration getting weaker as the batteries wear down. The collar is definitely suited to a medium-sized dog, although let out all the way it fit my 110 lb dog. The receiver would be bulky for a little dog I think. The vibration function was enough to get my dog's attention so I hardly used the shock function at all. I got a second dog so I ended up getting a two-dog system, otherwise I would still be using this one.

the collar worked great. I do not need to use the shock at all the vibration is enough to make my dog stop barking and whining while in crate and outside.

Product works as described. Only used it while playing with our 45lb Beagle/Lab mix outdoors and just to keep her out of the road. Even with little use the batteries dont last long and product completely stopped working (vibrate and shock) at beginning of January and item was purchased end of July of previous year (so about 5.5 months of infrequent use).

Unfortunately the collar stays on, even when the alarm part is off. The chirp seemed to get my dogs attention, the vibration annoyed him and worked more effectively than the 'shock', but he is still a stubborn pup. Water bottles have been a much better investment with him.

If you have one or two dogs...I think this unit would be great! This unit seems to be working well for the two big dogs in the house but it is doing very little to halt the little dogs from barking when someone comes to the door. You can see them shake their head when they hear the noise but seems like it is not quite enough to make them stop.

On the positive side....you REALLY can see that it is making a sound that the dogs can hear...and it HAS stopped the big dogs from any barking at all. I guess it was not designed to halt an entire pack....at least....not 4 little dogs.

My German Shepherd would bark incessantly while in her crate. She would bark at people walking by and just to hear herself bark. She was completely out of control. I was reluctant to purchase a bark collar and thought I would try this instead. It works! It put a stop to the barking immediately! No training required. Simple Solution Washable Cover-Ups, Medium, Pink/Purple (Pack of 2)

I purchased these for my Am. Cocker Spaniel to wear while she is in heat. These are so cute! I like them better than a pair we got by Pooch Pad (also size medium). These (by Simple Solutions) are designed better, with a section of shirred elastic at the belly for a MUCH better fit. These are less bulky since they aren't padded (just lined), but if more absorbency is needed, you can use the liners they sell. My dog didn't really need padding, so I like this non-bulky, really "Comfy" style. The tail hole is just slightly smaller which is also better for my Cocker, but it would still fit any dog I think. The issue with the other brand was that the tail hole was so big that, well, her "girl part" stuck out some usually, which means leakage can happen. On the other hand, she does want access so she can clean herself (I know--yuck!). The Medium is a good fit for my slim to average Cocker Spaniel (about 21 pounds with about a 17-inch waist). She's only 9 months old, but I think she is done growing unless she puts on weight. The Medium says it goes to 35 lbs, but I don't think it would fit if she were that much heavier. It would depend on the breed though, but this is what I think for a Cocker. Disclaimer: I tried these on her, but since she is not in heat anymore, she hasn't actually used them yet, but I can tell we're both going to love them!

UPDATE: After almost 2 more years, these continue to be a great purchase. Very comfy! I think she actually likes wearing them!

My mixed breed, part Basset Hound female dog is around 16 years old and recently has become fecally incontinent. At first, I tried Pampers Cruisers and cut a hole for her tail, but the diapers kept sliding off.

Good product for what I'm using it for. The only complaint I have is that the small which I also purchased, seems to be the appropriate size, but the medium seems to be quite a bit bigger, more like a large size. The difference between them should maybe be a little closer in size. Otherwise a good product.

Those who don't love it, either didn't follow the directions or didn't follow through with the training, both of which take time and commitment. I even trained my friends' dogs on it with extra collars I keep around, so their dogs wouldn't dig in my flowers. I have had to replace the batteries in the collars only once in the three years. We are using the Petsafe with a cat collar on a 9 lb Yorkie. I was concerned about the strength of the correction but the settings work great. We started with the lowest one but eventually moved it to the second lowest. You can see him stop and back up when he gets it. However after about 2 weeks of training per the instructions he hardly ever gets the correction. He knows where to stop. We knew he was not afraid of it when he got the receiver off of the table one day and brought it to me to take him out. It is so great to watch him stay right inside the flags and bark at the construction workers across the street, others dogs being walked by the yard and even deer and antelope which he loves to chase. We had a hard time imagining it work this well. The guy across the street says he wondered why he didn't come visit him any more. We are now removing flags and alternating letting him out with the collar on and off. I expect within the next couple of weeks we can retire the collar. I can only report my experience which has been great for an excitable small dog who loves to run after anything that moves.

I had read in a previous review that the "cat" version of this fence has less boundary range. The reviewer indicated they bought the this version also given this fact. I too did the same. I already have a wooden 6ft rail fence around my home, thus I stapled the wire around the inside fence with Christmas lights staples from Home Depot. Indeed it took three hours to place around only the back yard portion of my home, it's good to have two people doing the install as the wire can get tangled easy. Digging into the ground to place the wire could take additional time, fyi.

My cat is a Manx breed, very intelligent, great disposition and highly social. He loved to go for walk-abouts amongst the neighborhood but when it was relayed to me by a patient neighbor he had entered their home through their open cat door it was time to shorten up his roaming range.

I trained my cat for two days with no corrective collar, flags and treats.

I followed the training instruction guide to the "T". I also viewed the training suggestions on youtube.

Day three I let my cat go out with the collar as I watched on.

By day 4 he understood and by day 5 it was a done deal.

This particular model has no settings on the intensity for the correction. However, based on observing my cat, it seemed enough of a discomfort to correct but not a severe enough one to frighten. My cat did display his displeasure with the shorten range by pooping outside his litter box (right next to it) and as of late he's getting over it. Still as another viewer suggested I am watching for depression like behavior. My cat also comes in far more often then he does stay out in the back now ... with no more adventures to be had on his long wonderings, I think he gets bored.

This was a good investment for my cat and my peace of mind and while my cat is not a huge fan, at least he won't be going into other folks homes and being social.
