My dog really looks forward to these treats. We have tried other brands that she refuses to eat after a few days. And they work on my lawn too. With a female dog you have to be careful of brown/ yellow splotches on your lawn and these treats help eliminate those unsightly spots.

Easy Walk Harness - Large, Green

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the harness itself.

What I had a problem with was the smell when I opened the package. The odor was like a strong stale cigarette smoke, I actually had to soak it in soapy water to try to get rid of the smell. I would suggest no smoking in the area that this item is kept.

I have purchased other harnesses on line and did not have the same problem.

This product works like magic for my 100 lb black lab. He always used to pull really bad and as soon as this was on him he started walking at my side perfectly. Also, the duo tone of the harness helps you remember what side goes on top and what side goes on bottom.

One day at the dog park there was a lady with a mastiff (150 lb) and I had her try the easy walk harness on him (we refit it) and take him for a walk and he instantaneously turned into a sweet angel when she walked him. I'm pretty sure she is going to switch from a prong collar to an easy walk :)

The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that when I used it for a long walk he ended up with pretty bad irritation under his front arm pits. It was from the harness pushing his legs closer to his body during our 2 mile walk. We took him to the vet (it was pretty bad) and he went on antibiotics and now we just throw some Gold Bond powder on his arm pits before we take him out and we haven't had a problem since!

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a dog who pulls or anyone who has children and wants their kids to be able to walk the dog without worries!

Sunbeam Pets Advanced Bark Control Collar

I have a 2.5 year old, 10.5 pound Bichon Frise/Coton de Tulear that I have had since she was 3 months old. She never grew out of "barking" phase when I would leave the house, regardless of what I did to acclimate her to my leaving, giving her toys, etc. She would bark 10-15 minutes after I'd leave, then be silent until I came home after work. This was okay when everyone else was out of the house, but not okay now, when my present roommie wakes up at noon for his swing shift and I leave at 7am.

I was hesitant to use a shock collar of any type, as my dog is fairly mellow and fun-loving. She is very sensitive to the slightest stern voice/reaction/anything. She grew up with love and no negative feelings (even when she did bad things). But.. after trying three different 'ultrasonic' devices and not having any luck with her barking, I finally decided to try this static collar.

I had my boyfriend test it--as I didn't want to cause harm to my dog. Unlike the other review, we did not get a shock when walking around with it around, or barking into it, etc. My bf tried holding it and barking into it--nothing. He tried putting it on his wrist and barking into it--nothing. Finally he had to touch the probes to his neck and "bark" to finally get a reaction. He said it was sort of a pinch, with the muscles contracting but not hurting.

Day one--she barked incessently, but higher pitched, almost as if she didn't care, but could feel it (with one or two yips in between). I think at some point the collar turned off, as if the dog overbarks it is meant to. I was sad that it may not work.

Day two--she barked twice, not as loud as usual, but short high pitched barks--I think it corrected her both times, and she was silent.

Day three--no more barking. When I came home, the battery was dead too. I don't know if its because I had left it on overnight for a few days after testing (not realizing until later how to properly "turn it off"), or if that was just the battery life for it.

I was able to continue the full following week with the collar on her (without working batteries)--and it was enough of a deterrent for her not to bark.

I tried today to leave her without it, and left her regular collar on--and she barked. So...

-The bark collar works. Even my dog that doesn't care about anything in the world, eventually got the picture. Could work for your dog too.

-My dog still needs to keep the bark collar on, to keep her from barking. She knows when its off, that she can "play bark." Otherwise, when I come home and she still has it on, she keeps fairly quiet because she "knows"--until I take it off. It works.

-The battery died after 3 days of use. Possibly extend this to a full week (if I did leave it on for 24-hour periods accidentally). This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

I found a place on Amazon selling Maxell CR2032 batteries (100 pack for $30) which isn't terrible. It's worth the lack of barking and reviews on it says it was working on their bark collar (no model listed) for 2 batteries per week (60 cents a week!). Let's hope I have the same luck. And in either case, if the collar works on its own on her, that's fine by me!

Would definitely recommend it for anyone that is looking for a dog bark collar and is unsure. Petsmart has a 60-day guarantee, so test it out (on yourself first too, if you'd like!)!

i bought the collar a couple months ago after i adopted my deaf pittie pup. i was in such a hurry to stop her barking from disturbing the neighbors i got the first thing i could. once i brought it home it was too big for her neck so i cut it down to size (1st mistake was buying the collar instead of sport dog which i know and trust, 2nd mistake was cutting it as it prevented me from taking it back!) at first it was ok, i was still figuring it out and she was getting use to it. for the most part it silenced quite a few daily bark sessions. then as time when on i realized i was spending more time replacing batteries and constantly turning it back on after about 10/15 minutes or so (gotta love sleep mode). She figured out the trend, of when i put the collar on her then don't bark right away, wait a little while then bark bc it'll turn off again and sometimes she even barks THROUGH the collar. i once seen it light up indicating its responding to her bark and she KEPT barking, blew my mind smh. now its just a frustrating waste of space, i dont even bother with batteries i put it on her and "act it out", that way i can at least get 10/15 minutes of silence. a spray bottle full of water has more effect on her and shes not even afraid of water

I have 2 dogs. The first day I put this on my 1st dog then if my 2nd dog barked loudly while playing the 1st dog(with the bark collar) gets shocked. I put this on my wrist and barked into it and it shocked me, so I went to the kitchen and banged pans together and it shocked me. It is supposed to only shock if it senses vibrations from the dogs neck and hears an audible bark at the same time.

The collar may work if you only have one dog and are in a controlled environment but every accidental shock when the dog is being good is a training set back. So I give it one star.

Also I purchased this from petsmart in the store, they accepted the return stating "with the receipt you have up to 60 days to return it".

Casual Canine Leather City Pet Lead Leash - Brown

Honestly, I'm not crazy about this lead. The leather is NOT soft. It's rough on my wrist. It might become softer after it's broken-in, but I don't plan on using it that much. The length is fine when walking, but when my dog does her little circle dance to take a poop; it's too short. I have to walk around in circles with her hoping nobody calls Bellevue. Also, the clip is humongo! It's difficult to hook to the collar ring. The color (brown) is dull. Bottom Line: I wouldn't buy another one!

It is well made of heavy leather, with a strong clip. The length is perfect for my shepard collie mix to walk by my side and even occasionally sniff the ground while being close enough for complete control in all situations. This lead is exactly what I wanted for our daily walks.

I have 3 leerburg leather leashes, and each one has survived my 100+pd occasionally cantankerous Rhodesian Ridgeback. There should probably be two clasps and both more substantial at that I plan to rig up something with a clip just because otherwise I like this pouch, but it's tumbled to the ground far too many times!

I really like this treat pouch for training my puppy. It allows easy access to treats without smelling up my pockets encouraging my dog to climb on me later and find the treats he thinks are there. I really like both the clip to clip it to your waistband and the additional Velcro strap that allows you to keep the pouch in place instead of having it wriggle out of place. The only thing that keeps me from giving it full 5 stars is the fact that the drawstring with its tension closure tends to collapse into the bag when it's open, so I end up grabbing the closure thinking it's a treat, but quickly enough find out it's not... Not a tragedy, just a nuisance. I haven't found a purpose for the tiny Velcro pocket on the front of the bag either but it doesn't take anything away from the bag.

I recently adopted a 3 yr old, 75 lb German Shepherd mix from a shelter who wasn't happy walking without tension in the leash. We tried all the training tricks we could yanking back on the leash, turning and walking the other way, stopping entirely, all to no avail. He just liked to pull us through the neighborhood, as I'm guessing he was allowed to do in his first home. My husband was ready to get a choke chain, but I wanted to try something gentler first. I had tried the Gentle Leader head harness, but he hated it and just tried to paw it off. As a last resort, I ordered this harness and I love it! He doesn't pull me down the street anymore. If I have to get his attention, I don't have to put my whole body weight into it to pull him around. Yes, he knows the "let's go" command, which helps when it's time to stop smelling and get walking, but he refuses to "heel" in public (even though he has no problem doing it in the house or yard). For a dog who still needs some training, it's a real arm saver.

My goal was to find a harness without plastic snaps but apparently such a thing does not exist. That being said, I bought a second of this brand and type of harness because I liked the first one so much. It really works on eliminating pulling. Plus, the straps are easy to adjust for a custom fit, and once you have put it on a few times, it goes on and off very easily. Also, you can reverse it and use the leash ring on the top instead of the chest.

My 14 month old Basset Hound pulls like crazy on our walks. I got this harness after exhausting all of my other options first (traditional training). From the first day I put this harness on, there was a notable difference. She didn't pull ONCE. I took her for the best 2 mile walk we have ever had since I got her.

A few gripes about this product, though: Even with the in-between size, this still doesn't really "fit" her. She's very awkwardly shaped and I can't seem to get the belly strap to be snug without it cutting into her underarms. I'm also really surprised that that particular strap isn't padded, as I read chafing is quite common with the harness. After our first amazing walk, I did notice she had chafing/irritated skin. I'll probably end up sewing some fleece onto the belly strap as suggested by others but it kind of sucks that Premier doesn't pad the harness for comfort already. I'd also like it if they made a harness specifically for those awkward shaped dogs (dachshunds, bulldogs, etc), but I don't see that happening any time soon.

Other than that, though, it is a great product. Definitely has helped A LOT.

Getting a dog to walk politely on a leash HAS to be one of the toughest things to train many dogs.........even though we are trainers, our dogs are no exception. We first tried this harness on our 45 pound Border Collie mix, who can tug as hard as a full grown Lab. IMMEDIATELY she started responding to us and walking nicely: we were shocked. THe nice thing about this harness is that there is no pull on the neck, so it's more comfortable and less likely to cause physical damage. The martingale-style loop at the front where the leash attaches will tighten somewhat when the dog starts to pull, but immediately loosens when the pulling stops. The front clasp (rather than attaching leash on the back of the neck) is important for encouraging the dog to NOT pull like a sled dog! We next tried it on our little Lab mix, also about 45 pounds, and once again the results were good. She still pulls a LITTLE, but not at all like she did, and I don't worry about her throat being damaged. This harness is worth trying if tugging is a problem. Like any training aid, it won't work for every single dog, but it's safe, the dog can't back out of it, and it does encourage better behavior. But don't think the harness will train your dog......we humans have to do that!

Innotek Automatic No-Bark Collar, Rechargeable

We bought this collar for our English setter/Springer Spaniel mix who loves to bark. It came with a CD-rom, an extra set of prongs (for longer haired dogs) and a battery charger, which we wanted. A red light illuminates when the collar is shocking or resetting itself as well as if it needs recharging, which we liked. The length of the black nylon collar is very long so you can cut it to fit. We also liked the fact the collar is water resistant too.

We didn't think the bark collar was working as our dog continued to bark even after a week of wearing it so we called Innotek who had a very knowledgeable customer service rep. She advised us how to test it on ourselves and it did shock my husband so it was, in fact, working. However, our dog continues to bark with the collar on, especially if there is someone at the front door. I guess he just endures the discomfort. We were hoping for a miracle cure to his barking, but unfortunately, this hasn't been it.

An additional word of caution: We bought this collar through an Amazon.com vendor because it had the best price. When we called Innotek (the manufacturer) for advice, they advised ut that the vendor was not an authorized Innotek dealer. I don't know if this would void the warranty or not???

my neighbors came out and complained that their 5 year old kid cant play in the back yard cuz he is afraid of my dog. my year old boxer is all bark. since he was a little guy he had an above average bark. i have 6 foot brand new fence around the whole yard and they still complain. for the first like 3 days i gave up on the bark collar. my dog still never stopped barking and the thing was fully charged. i tried it on myself and nothing. the instructions say to test to see if it is working, to rub it on a non glass surface, creating vibrations. the light started going crazy and i tried it on myself. startled the crap out of me as i tried to make it work on me like 30 times, but this time i was 100% sure it worked. so i put it back on my hommie. he went on a barking rampage and it shocked him. how could i tell? was it the look like he needed to scratch it off his neck? no it was the dog running away squawking. i felt terrible but it scared me just as bad when i tried it on myself. after that day he was over the scared feeling. everytime i put his collar on he wont bark at all but hes smart enough to know when i take it off hes open game. i really dont think he minds wearing at all anymore. i just make sure i put it on him whne i leave the house and take it off when i get home. i have a pit bull as well and they play all day and tug on each other by the collar ALL DAY and the collar is still alive about 2 months later so i would give it a 5 on durability.

This collar seems to work well, comes with good documentation, but if you have a barky dog, u have to recharge it alot. The rechargeable battery feature is by far the best selling point, making it much more economical than most other brands with the disposable batteries. The dog is definitely quiter, but if the dog does go on a roll barking, he can usually defeat the collar. It's worth the money, and works most of the time...

Small / Medium Bark Control Anti Bark Dog Training Collar

This is a cheaper version of the Pet Smart brand that I purchased for my 3 yr. old Shih Tzu. It's a lot bigger and bulkier but works just as well AND emits an audible tone as well.

The collar worked in 2 minutes on my 3 month Shih Tzu puppy. She quickly associated the audible tone and warning vibration with the unpleasant feeling. Her high pitched, incessant barking when placed in her crate turned to silence in under two minutes. My three year old Shih Tzu and 1 year old Shih Tzu understood RIGHT AWAY.

This is a great correction tool and can easily teach your dog to quit yapping. Just remember to take it off when the play or when it's not needed.

Buy your batteries online to save money. The battery compartment is under the area covered by the fabric from the collar. No need to unscrew the device. The bulb thingy in the plastic bag I have no idea why that is included.

Apart from the battery not lasting long, the collar does work. We purchased another battery for it after 1 week but it is well worth it. Our dog only does a low, soft growl instead of barking. Nice change!

The Amazon product description says this collar is powered by 2 3V 2032 batteries and under the "frequently bought together" section it shows the collar and a package of two 2032 batteries. So I bought three packages of two batteries and three collars for three dogs. The collar uses and came with a 6V 4LR44 battery and I now have 6 2032 batteries I don't need. The instructions say, "Use of your Bark Terminator-III is almost completely automatic. There is not electronic (sic) control to adjust." There is a control on the side of the unit with nothing in the instructions as to what it is nor how to adjust it. There is next to the control a red LED with nothing in the instructions as to what it is. The Amazon product description says it comes with a "collar testing light operating instructions". The package contains a small clear light with two wires but nothing in the instructions about what it is nor how to use it. The instructions refer to "the diagram below", but there is no diagram, just one two sided instruction sheet written in broken English. I will return these collars without even trying to use them without meaningful accurate instructions.

These do work and seems to be worth the money. It isn't the exact unit pictured nor described. You will need 6 volt battery. Unfortunately, I had already ordered the battery described. The supplier did satisfy me.

Being a firm believer in first subjecting myself to anything unknown that I intend to administer to my dog, I tasted this product. GOOD LORD ALMIGHTY this is the worst taste sensation imaginable. Prior to the experience, I could not in my imagination even conceive anything being such an affront to the senses. If it's even half as effective to the taste of a dog as it is to humans (and I expect, in the case of dogs, an amplification of the effectiveness) then there is no way in the world that your dog will be able to endure this. Be careful that you do not get any of this stuff on yourself, lest your dog accidentally lick you and fear you for the rest of its natural existence. This kind of power should require a license.

I have used this with 3 different very oral young pups.

They tried to gnaw on the hard plastic base and arms of my office chair, table legs and some drywalled corners of my cubicle.

It is most potent while damp, tho if you touched an area that was nearly dry, you might get a nasty taste in your own mouth!

Some pups are very persistent, so a consistent use over a few days, and then an infrequent use over the next week or so did the trick. They nosed at the old spots, but never gnawed again.

I have recommended it to a few other people and they have said it worked for them.

My coworker gave this to me, to try on my puppy. He keeps chewing on the bed frame, my shoes, etc. My coworker forewarned me that it didn't have any effect on her dogs. I agree with the person who said it should include a "dummy" electrical box. But even so, it still works. I have a couple of live ones and a couple of dummy ones and my yorkie doesn't know the difference and won't cross them. They are perfect in doorways with a smallish dog as she won't jump across them either. We keep her out of the laundry room this way where so she won't chew our shoes and out of the bathroom so she won't chew the toilet paper....you get the picture. It works.

I thought I would get what is PICTURED, a dummy looking Matt that would be an empty clear box (no electronics of course) attached (or able to be attached) to this clear Matt.

Yes the plastic is very similar to my real ScatMat (that has worked great for 2 years). But the lack of the box, and the lack of wires (or even JUST an image of thin wires would do the trick on the underside of the Matt... HINT HINT HINT) would have been great.

Like most folks I KNEW this was not a functional box (at 25% of the cost) but expected the "Dummy Matt" to at least RESEMBLE the real thing...

I have no idea (just got it today) if it will fool both of my cats, but I will try! I know if it simply LOOKED like the real thing that would have done it. My real Matt has had a dead battery for a month or more and both of our cats do not go near the doorway (bedroom) it protects. That was why I knew a dummy Matt would be fine... I will give it a try, but really hate that BOTH PICTURES (two sizes) linked to this dummy item show the real thing. If you look CLOSELY the thumbnail picture in your order and below the item when you look at "Frequently Bought Together" shows what you will get. A completely clear Matt with the holes cut out for the box to attach. My guess is this is the Matt "raw" before it gets the wires in the factory. If they had simply SHOWED the correct picture my expectations would have been different and I would have given this more stars...

EVEN RIGHT NOW as I look to my right it shows YET ANOTHER DIFFERENT picture of this item that IS NOT accurate. In the picture showing is the extension with the wires clearly visible as are the snaps (no box though).

Come on guys, it would cost MAYBE a dollar to include a clear plastic box with the dummy matt, and the shipping box is already plenty big enough to contain it.

Also, fire the dolt who thought this packaging and product was a good idea (hire me!). This device should get it's own manual and NOT include the manual for the real scatmat! No wonder why you guys have gotten so many bad reviews. So change the included manual (no cost) and include a clear plastic box (cost will be under $1 for the empty box). I have an old dog that needs to be let out every couple of hours. Being that I work a 40 hr a week job, this was becoming increasingly difficult. I have an 11 yr old toy poodle. I purchased a small deluxe potty park. It took her about a week to learn how to use it, at first I thought she was too old to learn something new. I bought the Potty Park in June, back when there were no reviews posted and the only information I could find online was Potty Park's own videos (or those they pay advertisers to do). Looked like a great product. And even though I have an adult dog, the training video made me confident that we could get him using the thing very easily.

First, the product that arrived was cheap looking and feeling, and the grass is NOT real looking at all. It looks more like carpet than grass, if anything.

I did everything the training video called for, and after four weeks, had only a very unhappy dog and even more unhappy owners. I tried everything, including spraying the pheromone spray on it, to no avail.

When it became obvious that it was time to cash in on the 30-day "100% Satisfaction Guarantee", I called the company's phone number. Customer Service only went to a voice mail. I left a message and waited for a call back. The next day, after no return phone call, I called and left another message. This happened over and over again for a week, with increasingly frustrated messages from me. The fourth day, I used the dial-by-name option and left a message for the President of the company, thinking that at least that would get me somewhere. But, no response. Finally that Friday, fearing that I would miss the 30 day window, I called back and hit the extension for Sales. Guess what someone answered right away! The sales guy seemed to be very helpful and assured me that the Customer Service person had been traveling and would return my call when she was back. This was frustrating because 1)Her outgoing voice message said nothing about being out of the office, and 2)They didn't have someone else answering the phone.

The following week, I finally got a hold of the customer service person. She told me that the Potty Park could only be returned if the unit hadn't been urinated on, or if we haven't used the pheromone spray.

If we HAVEN'T USED the pheromone spray! I told her, of COURSE we used the pheromone spray, because that is part of the training.

It's a bit of a paradox, isn't it? They give you this training program, saying, don't worry, you can always return it, but the very training program makes the product ineligible for return.

As another reviewer pointed out, even if we could return it, they charge a 20% restocking fee (Couldn't that $40 go toward replacing the turf, since I used the spray?). I'm not as upset with having to pay for shipping, since that's standard, but a 20% restocking fee on what is supposed to be a GUARANTEE?? I don't think so!

So now I'm out $200, and the dog still isn't using the thing. I might try again, but I will likely just post the thing for sale on Craigslist. Maybe someone with a puppy will have better luck.

My dog is a bit stubborn but still..... I bought the Potty Park about a month ago from their direct website (at the time it wasnt on amazon). At the beginnning I put the pheromone spray thing to attract her to go potty there, well that didn't work I did that for like a week. I'm still taking her everyday to the potty park with the leach on and give her the cue to pi and poo there... Now don't get me wrong I believe it works especially with puppies it has to be super easy to train them. Just MY dog so far hasn't done any of her buisness on it..

Potty Park gives you a 30 day trial, but be careful! you can return it if it didn't work for you and your dog and that they didn't pi or poo on it either(They pass returned potty parks through a black light to assure that your dog didnt pi or poo on it, this is on their website in the detailed part) If they find something they send it back to you and you have to pay for that shipping too. They also charge a restocking fee of 20%! and you dont get your shipping back either... Since to me that's a lot of money lost I decided to keep it and keep trying. I saw a video yesterday on youtube suggesting to put the dog in a crate and take him out only to use the potty on the potty park and then put him back in the crate until she learns to potty there.. Im going to try this next (just need to get a crate). I will give an update on how this works. I have strong hopes she will learn to use it soon....
