Due to the low price of this leash, I was sure that I would be getting what I paid for: A cheap, 6 foot leash, that would do the job. However, upon opening the package, I was surprised to find an extremely high quality nylon leash with padded handle and durable hook.

Normally, cheap nylon has a very "rough" feel when running your hand along it (Typical cheap leashes). This leash is glossy and smooth to the touch. The loop handle is coated with a rubbery, soft fabric, that provides great grip and comfort.

The TaoTronics TT-PT10 350 Meter Range Remote Control Weatherproof Dog, is a great training tool to use for your dog. I do not recommend this for any dog. This device is for medium to large dogs only. After weeks of use, I have found it to be quite helpful for training our hunting dog to follow commands with ease. This is also a great tool for going on walks with your dog so he/she does not stray to far. The only downside I have found is it is only ranged at 350 meters. But if your dog is that far off, your not doing a very good job so not really a big deal. I will post a video review later on

This product has helped alot with keeping my dog in my yard. It took a bit to learn how to use it properly (directions not very clear), but once I realized I could press and hold the buttons for beep, vibration and shock my dog doesn't go very far. The minute I either press the beep or vibration he turns right around and comes right back. He now knows when he doesn't come back he will get a shock and I am sure he has figured out he doesn't want that. Would highly recommend. Four stars only because of the directions.

This product is good so far although the collar is gigantic. I don't have a big dog (25 lbs) and I'm having a hard time picturing a dog big enough for this to fit on properly. I'm currently looking for a normal buckle type collar to try and fit this on. The 7 shock levels are good and yes I tried them on myself, but I only intend to use the vibrate function. I wish the vibration was stronger though. It's about the same as your iPhone vibrating....which isn't strong. My dog gets pretty focused on things like other dogs passing the yard and the vibrate does nothing to get his attention. I wish this function was adjustable like the shock function in order to customize it to the dog.

I love this leash.

Form My dog's name is Daisy and most of her stuff is purple, so the Daisy Chain design was a good match for us. The designers choose dark enough colors so it will last a few years of rough dog fun without looking worn.

Function Really comfortable handle. Super strong and thick material, but never feels too heavy. I assume if your dog is a hardcore chewer, he could get through this, but it should take him twice as long. I cant see any of the components breaking with normal dog use and it is machine washable.

The adjustable length is awesome. I have very rarely adjusted it, but have taken the advice of other red dingo users and have adjusted the length to be about 5 feet. That leaves a loop by her neck that I use like a traffic lead when I need her to stay close to me.

If I were to make a criticism I would merely say I wish the was a loop or ring someplace I could hang the dog bag dispenser. I have it on the handle, but it moves around and can get in the way. Obviously not a big deal.

Mesh Dog Harness

I have tried several different harnesses for our Pug. The Casual Canine Mesh Harness is the perfect harness. I first ordered the Medium from a pet supply site (for more money than Amazon), but it was too snug around the neck for our pug, so I ordered the large from Amazon. The size chart is accurate, but pugs have large necks and broad chests for their small size, so are very hard to fit. The medium is perfect for our 15 pound miniature pincher. I added photos of our pug Maggie wearing the harness. It is soft, well-made, and easy to use. I highly recommend this harness for any dog. The only reason I decided to write a review and post photos is because I had so much trouble finding a good harness for the pug shape! I kept searching for best pug harnesses, and tried several different brands. This is the only one we will use. And it is a really great price on Amazon!

Perfect size. Our chihuahua was wearing an extra small, which was just slightly too snug. This small size was just that little bit larger, for a perfect fit. Very well made, comfortable harness. You can control the dog without choking, which is why we bought it.

The pliable fabric makes it easy to get their short fore front arms through and the adjustable straps help it fit him like a glove. I love this harness! This is the fourth type of harness I've tried for my rescued chihuahua-mix, Dolly ... and finally found one that stays on. Dolly has a wide-ish chest but short legs and within a couple minutes of the other types of harness, she would somehow get one of her legs caught in part of the harness and she would then "walk out" of the harness. PetZoom Pet Park Indoor Pet Potty

I have a chihuahua that has recently decided she no longer likes to use her puppy pads, but the rugs instead. After replacing the rugs in my house (not cheap), I had to look for another solution since I live in a very urban area (West Hollywood) and do not have a yard. After spending countless hours researching the different grass options, I decided to try this since it was very cheap compared to similar products. I even considered a local company that delivers fresh sod every 2 weeks, however, at a cost of $40+/mo and $100+ for the unit I decided to try a more economical option first. I will be the first to admit that I am surprised my dog has used this potty exclusively since I received it about a week ago, no further training was required and she seemed to gravitate to this naturally. For the price, I was very surprised with the quality, it seems pretty well made, as I was really expecting some cheap junk. I don't know if they sell replacement grass pads, but the unit is so inexpensive I'm planning on buying a new one if it starts to smell or deteriorate over time (for the price you cannot expect this to last forever!) Now to the negative, it is gross to clean. If you can get your dog to just use a puppy pad, it is sooo much easier to just toss it and replace it every day, but if your dog refuses I would recommend this. After a couple days of use it started to smell (what do you expect), so I had to dump out the tray in the toilet (gross), and rinse all of the components off in the shower. I rinsed everything off with dish soap, then clorox wipes, and put the grass outside in the sun to dry. If I stick my nose against the grass, it does not smell pretty. I am going to buy some ZeroOdor spray and use that after every cleaning (which will probably be every couple days). This isn't the most efficient solution (puppy pads are), and cleaning this thing will get very old soon, BUT it is either put up with the hassle, or replace my rugs every couple days and live in filth. Obviously, the latter is not an option for me, so I am very happy with my purchase :-)

The Good: Works great! I live in a condo and have the pet park out on the patio. It's only been a few days and my english bulldog puppy already knows to go there on his own. Easy enough to clean.

The Not as Good: The basin below the grassy patch is very shallow, so I'm sure once my dog grows up I'll have to upgrade; for now though, it easily accommodates a day's worth of elimination. Also, because the grass patch just rests on the plastic tray below, my dog occasionally tries to scratch and pull it up; if this sounds like something your dog might do, I wouldn't leave your dog unattended with the pet park unless you clamp the grass to the tray and/or ensure that he's been trained to not play/scratch/bite it. Also, be sure to remove any loose plastic grass blades when you get it.

Overall, works as advertised. Definitely made my life easier.

This has been the best purchase. I bought this for our travel trailer. Sometimes we leave the dogs in the trailer while we go out and they sometimes cannot wait until we get back. They love to use the green grass to potty. I do not have to get up in the middle of the night to take them out to pee. They just use the PetZoom pet park. I put a puppy pad between the grass and the pan and just throw it away after they use it. When we get home we hose it off and store it ready for the next trip. I would recommend this for small dogs especially. This is a great litter box for small dogs.

I have a 10 lb toy poodle boy who learned to pee and poo on the pad within a week. I bought two so I can rotate between them. I started to notice the urine smell within two days and I decided to wash and air dry the pad every other day. After 3-4 weeks, I started to notice that it's getting harder and harder to wash off the smell from all three parts of them, including the synthetic grass, the mesh and bottom tray. I used 409 on the mesh and bottom tray, which improved the staining/smell problem a bit. But I am hesitated to use bleach or other detergent on the grass since my poodle sniffs around the grass and I don't want to expose him to toxic chemical. It is e beginning of the 6 weeks after I got these two pads. I just ordered the IRIS disposable pad and tray yesterday cause I can't stand the hardworking on cleaning up the synthetic pad and my family have been all complained about the smell tho I wash them every other day. I wish there is a product with synthetic grass but cat litter sand in the middle, which can absorb the urine and bad smell. Maybe I will try to make the combination myself to see how it goes. IF it works well, I will get back and let you guys know about it.

In theory this product works really well. My dog loved peeing on it and took to it with no problem. However, I was unaware of how disgusting it would smell. If I had thought about it (concentrated amounts of pee in one spot) I would have realized before purchasing how gross it would be. As well, if you accidentally tip it while trying to empty it, you would end up with pee all over you and the floor. While it is "eco friendly" because you are re-using the same product over and over, it is so awful that it is not worth it! The pee smell permeated throughout my condo and made me want to gag.

I added two Schipperke puppies to my home eight years ago. Shortly after they arrived, they became sick with a parasite known as coccidia. From that moment on, I lived a wretched existence comprised of constant cleaning (both the dogs and anything they came near), dog antibiotics, vet bills, emergency room visits, more vet bills, on and on. By the time they were two years of age, they were down to eating only rice mixed with turkey baby food (per vet instructions) and my bank account was depleted by thousands of dollars. Yet still they suffered from diarrhea and occasional bouts of vomiting. One day I found this food on the internet, and thought, "what the hell I've tried everything else." When the food arrived, I mixed the "dust" (reminded me of fish chum we used as kids) with cooked turkey, water, and olive oil. I fed it to the dogs. They loved it, but I expected after a year of rice and Gerber's, they'd have loved anything. By day three, their diarrhea had stopped, and the only time it has returned in the past six years is when I have run out of this food and fed them something different. Truly. Day THREE! After a two-year ordeal! This food saved my dogs' lives. I notice that the formula has changed a bit over the years, and now the package directions suggest adding an egg and fish oil and not to use olive oil. I just keep making it the way I always have. They still love it.

There are downsides to using this food: it's soft, so plaque and tartar build up much faster than if the dogs were eating crunchy food. Also, I have to make a "batch" of food for them. I usually buy 2-1/2 lbs. of ground turkey, cook it up, grind it in the food processor, add it to 2 cups of dust, 2-1/2 cups of water, 1/4 cup olive oil, then mix it all together. Then, using a small ice cream scoop (1/4 cup), I put the food into those small disposable plastic containers made by Glad. This usually gives me 56 containers (two weeks' worth of breakfast and dinner for both dogs). I freeze the containers, putting them into the refrigerator the night before as necessary. In the morning, I dump the containers in their bowls, and microwave for 20 seconds. I guess this is a long way of saying it's more labor intensive than throwing a handful of kibble into a bowl. But, it has definitely been worth it for me and my dogs.

I would enthusiastically recommend this food to any pet owner.

My dog started having seizures around the age of four. I kept track of them, on the calender, and noticed that the seizures happened about every 30 days. The vet told me that it was probably a brain tumor, since epileptic seizures usually start at a younger age. This did not make sense to me, since the seizures were consistent in their timing. I decided to switch him to a grain free diet and found Urban Wolf. My dog has been seizure-free for quite some time now,(he just turned 11.) I do recommend that you give your dog a vitamin supplement, such as Pet Tabs. (By the way, he gets a double-dose of the Pet Tabs and it has greatly reduced his itching to the point where he's no longer on steroids.) I have also tried the doggie burgers from the pet store. They gave the poor little guy really hard stools. This stuff is worth the time and trouble to make, he's much healthier now.

When I opened the bag initially, I was horrified to see some sort of brown powder-ish fluff, instead of little freeze-dried chunks of vegetables, as I was expecting. Well, I made some anyway according to the package directions, and my dogs absolutely LOVE it.

I have 12 dogs, including one 18-yr-old and one 15-yr-old who are VERY finicky (probably cats in their former lives) and even those two absolutely loved it, so suffice to say it tastes VERY good to them, even though to be frank it smelled kind of iffy to me. To clarify, this is NOT "8 lb of food for $100"; this is a mix of freeze-dried vegetables that you combine with meat (raw or cooked) and an egg and maybe some fish oil for good measure. Even with 12 dogs this will take us forever to get through. In the meanwhile I'm storing the powder in wide-mouthed jars to keep the moisture out. You can go to the Urban Wolf website (google for it) to get estimates of how long a bag will last. Also check out the nutritional information while you are there.

I don't plan on using this when lots of vegetables are in season, but for the times of year when choices are fewer, this is a great way to ensure a diversity of vitamins.

Gentle Leader Quick Release System, Large, Royal Blue

It is with obvious hesitation that I review the gentle leader as it can be misused. The following goes over my experience with it, but it is not a substitute for reading relevant instructions, doing further research, and tentatively trying it. It is definitely not a neccessity for every dog.

This device fits around your dogs muzzle and over the back, and keeps him or her from lurching forward, jumping, or performing other unwanted or dangerous behaviors. Your regular leash is attached to a ring mounted on the gentle leader. It takes quite a bit of practice to fit this correctly, and a perfect fit is necessary to ensure safe use of the product. I will say, however, that I found it easy to use after working with it for about a week. Many people use this as a temporary device, as their dog learns their expectations for walking together after using it. At that point, you may want to discontinue use or bring it out only as needed.

The gentle leader works by applying gentle pressure to an area (the back of the neck) where the dog will instinctually respond by quieting. This is the same area to which the lead dog will apply pressure when controlling pack dogs. However, IT WILL APPLY GENTLE PRESSURE ONLY IF YOU APPLY GENTLE PRESSURE. The gentle leader is NOT a muzzle, with a proper fit your dog can still smell, swallow, breath easily, fetch (though larger objects become a little more difficult), bark, and bite-except when you close his or her mouth by pulling on the leash (not the leader itself). This action exerts pressure at the back of the neck (not at the throat) and invokes a relaxation/inhibiting effect.

Please DO NOT jerk or pull the gentle leader for any reason; you may injure your animal! If your dog does not immediately respond to GENTLE pressure on the leash, then it is either not adjusted correctly or it is simply not right for you and/or your dog. For example, gentleleader.com warns (among mnay other warnings)about "fitting and using on Bulldogs and other breeds with genetically limited airways or flat noses... If their usual breathing difficulties increase when wearing the headcollar, immediately discontinue and consult your veterinarian."

The Gentle Leader is available in a plastic quicksnap or a metal buckle design. Unfortunately, Amazon does not describe which type it offers here, so I have asked them today to post this information. I prefer the quicksnap...it's fast and easy. I have also asked that Amazon describe the "complete system" design; it costs $10 more than the gentle leader NOT described as "the complete system." One problem I have found is that an outline of the leader across the muzzle is sometimes present after taking it off. This could indicate that it was put on too tightly.

I now use this sparingly, if at all, but others who walk the dog prefer the control. It's especially useful in areas where your dog could run off after a cat (for example) into the street. Two good web sites to learn more about this product are gentleleader.com and sitstay.com/store/equip/collars2.shtml. I strongly recommend looking at these. Once again, talk to your vet, read more about the collar, and try it out as shown on the websites and the instructions to see whether this is right for you and your dog.

I have a 2 1/2 year old Golden Retriever that weighs about 60 pounds. She freakin loves life. Everything about it. The blade of grass that is slightly longer than the other blades of grass, kids that are a block away, other dogs we pass on our walk, random strangers that will obviously love her just as much as she loves them if she could just get to them. And dear god, does she ever love going to the vet. In every other facet of life, she is the worlds most well behaved dog, but as soon as she gets outside around people and other animals, she completely spazzes out. I've tried no pull harnesses in the past with varying degrees of success. But after about 10 minutes with this on, I had my well behaved dog back when in public! She will still paw at her nose occasionally if we are standing still for too long but she has gotten use to it. She knows that as soon as I pull it out, it means we are going someplace fun so gets really excited to see it. She walks right by my leg now without having to be reminded. Half of the time, I tuck the other end of the leash in my pocket because she doesn't try to sprint for shiny objects any more. I've been using it with her for about six weeks now. She will occasionally try to make a break for it when she is on a normal leash but nowhere near as much. I'm guessing that with more use, she'll figure out that she needs to utilize her 'good puppy walking' skills even without it on. My main suggestion for folks trying it the first few times is to put the lead on RIGHT before you do something fun. And keep them moving while they are getting use to it. Eventually they will forget about pawing at it and will get use to how it feels. During our first few walks, she would start rubbing her nose against the sidewalk when we had to wait at a cross walk, but she has stopped doing that. Give it time and don't give up.

I love this collar!! It is amazing. My German Shepherd gets very excited about going for walks and always wants to be a few steps ahead of me. Which is fine, but I would have to constantly tug and pull her back to keep her from pulling me along. This collar solved that problem instantly. Now she walk just a few steps ahead but rarely pulls and when she does it's a very easy, gentle correction. Now we both can enjoy our walks. The gentle leader is also very easy to adjust and it only took my dog a few times to get used to it. I highly recommend this product, especially for big dog owners.

We ordered this collar and leash to help keep our Labradoodle from pulling. We are working her slowly up to longer walks, but so far the head collar has helped immensely. She is not able to pull when on the leash. It will take some getting used to on her part as she is currently trying to swipe the nope piece off with her paws.

I had gone through about seven different products trying to walk our bullmastiff. I have bursitis in both shoulders and we would both hurt for two to three days after every walk (my shoulders, his neck or chest where he pulled on collars and harnesses). He never grew to like this thing, but he did understand that putting it on meant going out so he tolerated it. I was finally able to walk him without feeling like I was being drawn and quartered--no mean feat with a 120+ pound dog with bad leash habits. Also, he could still pant, eat treats, and drink with the collar on, so if he fought me when we got home it wasn't an emergency if I couldn't take it off right away (as it had been with a muzzle we tried). He was incredibly dog-aggressive and did not like strangers, so control was VERY important to us, and this collar enabled me to take him on walks, to the vet, and to the groomer without any drama. I am getting a new one for our spastic lab puppy now.

Training Champ Disposal System Unit

I am VERY happy with my purchase of this system-I have been using a flip top simple human small can for litter scooping-it was messy but useful-after reading the issues people had with the Litter Champ unit I was concerned that that would be money not well spent due to the smallish entry system to maintain the 3 seal system-So I opted for the Training Champ It is wonderful-

easy to use,not an eyesore and the tie off as needed for the bag is great we have 5 cats and use one electric litter box and then a regular cat box We use Wheat Scoop multi-cat litter which is biodegradable and now the litter bags are too

-I have had a Magikan for my kitchen (the 30gal size) and have loved that for years-

So We HIGHLY recommend this product

I don't think the other reviewers have tried the cheaper alternative brand, Litter Locker. I used the Litter Locker brand prior to buying this and purchased it for $16!! It worked great! However, I really thought the construction of this unit and the design may be better (i.e. a press of your foot and you can dispose vs. opening the unit with your hands). Lesson learned though, more expensive things are not always the better option!

The biggest issue are the bags. They do NOT contain the smell!! This wouldn't be such a big problem if you could find alternate bags, but I searched on google and couldn't find anything. Yes, I could have used garbage bags or something, but that kind of defeats the purpose of making this easy to use & dispose.

I really encourage buyers to check out the cheaper alternative, Litter Locker, first before spending more money on this. It not only does such a much better job of keeping odors at bay, but it's less hassle and less expensive.

By the way, Great Companions, the seller I bought from, were NOT FRIENDLY nor were they helpful when I tried to return this unit. Amazon, however, was wonderful and saved the day with their A-Z file claim process.

No smell!!! I have used various types of litter disposal systems over the last 30 years and never have I had one that didn't smell. This is easy to use, clean, neat in appearance, compact in size and very effective. What a God-send! Thanks, Litter Champ!

It is. If I could make one change, the extra flap would be bigger so I could use a pooper scooper instead of more plastic bags. I can't call that a design flaw, because they are not representing it to work with a pooper scooper, it is how I am choosing to use it. So I give it 5 stars for being what they claim it to be, and 4 stars because it is not how I want it to be. The training pads are temporary situation in a dogs life, the yard poop is forever. Designing the product to be ok at the temporary and great at the permanent would have resulted in a 5 star rating.

I think it is great that people have had success using this for Cat Litter Disposal and encourage it, however I have seen no reviews for its intended Purpose, and that is the disposal of Puppy Training Pads! I have both cat and dog. Even though I have an adult dog, I leave a training pad out for accidents since I work longer shifts and I may not be able to get home it's nice to know that my dog will use the pad instead of the floor, carpet etc if she can't wait, and there are no other alternatives. Normally I just fold it up and put it inside a grocery bag and tie that up to conceal the odor but was happy to see this available. If people are having success with it for litter then I'm sure it will do the job for the puppy pads. I am glad that it pulls double duty and will probably just buy two, but the Litter Champ was made for Cat Litter and the Training Champ for Puppy Training Pads, not that they are not interchangeable of course, but, that was the original intent.
