I was skeptical that the Lentek Bark Free would help with my dog's barking, but I was at my wit's end and willing to try anything. She barked at anything she saw, heard, or THOUGHT she saw or heard. I placed the unit on our patio, and the first time her barking set it off, she stopped immediately. She resumed barking a few moments later, and when the unit beeped, she stopped again. By the end of the second day, her barking was just about eliminated. Now instead of barking, she just growls. I can live with that. I'm sure different dogs respond to the unit differently and some may not be affected at all, but for my little terrier/"terror," it's been great.

When a new neighbor moved into my building, I first learned that my dog barked for a good half hour every day starting shortly after I left for work. I knew she barked on occasion, but I didn't know it was so consistent or bothersome. Even though the negative reviews here gave me caution, I decided it was worth a shot, and I tried the product.

I now have a dog who is a wonderful neighbor. I've received confirmation from my neighbors (others, it turns out, had been too polite to say anything) that my dog has been silent during the day since installing the device. It's been fantastic. I notice, too, that she doesn't feel the need to bark uncontrollably when the bell rings, when she hears another dog, or when she hears just about anything anymore.

Know that I was concerned about whether containing her will to bark amounted to some sort of cruelty. I understand that my dog is a dog, and part of a dog's life is barking. In a perfect world, she would bark here and there and be done with it, and my neighbors wouldn't mind. In my world, however, she was a nuisance. She still knows how to bark. We take walks and she has her fill. But when she's at home now, she behaves in a way I was never able to train her.

Know that my dog is a shih tzu mix and I use the ultrasonic setting. I seem to recall that reviews were generally favorable for smaller dogs, so this may just be consistent with that. Regardless of your situation, though, if you have a problem with your dog barking indoors (which is the only way I've been able to test this device), you ought to try seeing whether this works. For me, it has worked 100%.

Now I'm off to buy another. I'm hopeful it works for my dad's yapping beast as well.

I have had one of these for about three years now. It has helped! The dog figures out to bark a little quieter so she doesn't set it off. I now put it on audible because the neighbor won't do anything about his dog barking so when his dog barks and sets it off he hears the sound of the Bark Free and he doesn't like it, so he has actualy been trying to keep it somewhat quiet. That works for me! It doesn't stop them completely but it has made a significant difference here...

I was skeptical. I have a Yorkie who has been barking at every passerby and loud truck for nine years. It used to be cute but now we have a four month old who is not able to nap because of the barking. He was exhausted from all of the constant waking. My dog is too small for one of the collars so I was looking for a device to plug into the wall. I looked through a bunch of these online and finally chose this one. I plugged it in and our dog barked for ten minutes straight. By that night, she no longer was barking at anything at all. One week later she occassionally barks at things that really upset her, but usually only one bark and not very often. My child can finally nap and I feel like my dog is not suffering. She is her happy self but just much quieter. This may not work for every dog based on the reviews I read, but it certainly is working for mine.

With three dogs in the house, there is always something that sets one off barking. The other two dogs always follow the chorus. We tried every training method we could find, (sorry Ceasar) but could never get permanent control. Put one in our entryway, where the dogs always congregated in chaos when someone came to the door, and it worked! Two of the dogs, a maltese and a terrier, silenced immediately. The Yorkie was a little more hard headed, and barked through it the first couple of times. Which annoyed the two dogs that were silent. Still, the Yorkie has figured out that a low bark or growl is better than setting the "Bark Free" off.

Eventually, the Dogs figured out that there was one part of the house where they could bark and not trigger the sound. Just bought our second one to cover that side of the house too. The new one quieted the dogs on the first bark.

This product has helped train my two counter-surfing dogs to keep their paws out of the kitchen. I made the decision to get it after I came home and the gas stove was on. They must have accidentally turned it on while scrabbling around.

I was worried about using a shock deterrent, but drastic measures needed to be taken. The shock from the 9V battery is not awful (I've stepped on it many times), but it's enough to let them know they are going somewhere they shouldn't.

The dimensions of this scat mat were not listed by the seller and I think that would be useful. I was surprised by how long and skinny it was because the picture made it seem wider.

Overall this was a great purchase. It's for those of us who have full-time jobs and need help with training. I'm happy to work with them when I'm home, but need to keep reinforcing it when I'm out.

I discovered this leash at my vets and was drawn to it because of the really cute designs. I also really liked the clip which you could just "slap" onto the dog collar rather than using the usual thumb-slider clip. The leash also has a padded handle which is very much appreciated when you have 70 pounds of dog pulling against you to get out at that lovely poodle coming your way...

What has turned me into a customer for life for Lupine is their replacement guarantee. I originally bought a leash and collar when my dogs were puppies -fuzzy bundles of chewing teeth. I was crate training them and would leave the collars on while they were in their crates. Don't ask me how but one of my dogs had this incredible talent for chewing the collar off. Lupine replaced it no questions asked. It happened again. They did it again. By this point, I caught a clue and no longer left the collar on my dog while unattended.

However, there aren't many companies that will stand behind their product like Lupine does -even when their customers are not the most clueful people in the world. When I would email them, they were always incredibly friendly and it was a personalized response.

If you have a dog that chews, Lupine leads are a must. Three days after receiving my order from Amazon, my 1-year-old English Setter mix chewed straight through this lead. After realizing what she had done, I sent the chewed lead to Lupine and received a new lead free of charge within three days. This is my 4th or 5th lupine product that I've bought over the years. The only reason why I even bought another leash was because the other one I had was only 4 feet (it was the only size my vet carried at the time) and I didn't know about the 6'. I really do like the extra length in the 6 footer compared to the 4 footer. Also I like that it matches the collar I bought even though that was years ago.

I have a small dog, so she has the option of a pee-pee pad or the great outdoors; therefore, she is not 100% bell trained. However, when she does want to go outside, she does know to nose the bells. Wish I had thought of this with my previous dog who scratched at the door with her nails and caused light damage. The only reason I gave it 4 vs 5 stars is because I'd like to see an adjustable loop on the handle so I could adjust the size (if another dog gave the bells a good bat with a paw, it would slide off the door handle).

These bells work exactly as they said. We had a puppy that was having a few accidents. We bought two sets, one for the front and back door of our house. He learned after about 4-5 days to ring the bells. He now rings them on his own to communicate to us that he needs to go potty. This takes a little time to get use to . The instructions aren't very good . I learned more about this by watching a video on youtube on how to use it . The reciever gets signals from somewhere other than the transmitter . The collar will beep and vibrate out of the blue when the collar is on or off the dog . Talk about confusing the dog ! If they were on a different frequency which isn't used much , it would be great . The actual matching of the reciever to the transmitter gave me more fits than anything . After charging and turning the reciever on , or turning it on any time , I discovered that it's best to set the collar down and move 6feet away from it before matching the transmitter to the collar . It works great after that except for the stray signals the collar picks up from other frequency sources. If this used frequencies that were not so common so that the collar wouldn't pick up these stray signals, this setup would be ideal .

I was hesitant to buy a soft crate for my 5 month old Australian Shepherd puppy. She is crate trained, but still, I wasn't sure about the chewing. I WISH I had purchased this crate before I bought the hard sided crate. We travel frequently with our dog, and this is our travel crate. She absolutely loves it. She doesn't even have to be coaxed in with a treat. She feels safe and secure, and she hasn't even thought about chewing her way out. I think the 32" size will be perfect for her as an adult dog -she will be about 45 lbs. This is very easy to set up and take down and so lightweight to move once it's set up (unlike our hard sided crate that pretty much stays in one room at home!). If you are considering a soft-sided crate, this one is absolutely perfect!

I have a 45 pound boxer and had to buy this on an unplanned trip that I could not take her kennel. The quality of the crate seems to be pretty good for limited use or if you aren't constantly breaking down and setting it back up. It has aluminum poles in the corners and the rest is a thick material. My pup suffers from EXTREME seperation anxiety; therefore, I was very nervous about leaving her in this. The crate actually held up very well. It is just large enough for my puppy I would think if your dog is any larger than mine, you might need to get the next larger size. The only reason I did not give it five stars at this point is because I do not know how well it will hold up over time.

We bought this crate to use for traveling with our Golden Retriever puppy. It works wonderfully. She had no problem getting used to it (at home we have a wire crate). While I would not use this for a full time at-home crate, especially for a chewing puppy, it works wonderfully for us traveling. We used it both in our vehicle and in our camper. It folds up easily when not in use. I like the zipper top opening for dropping in a treat or toy without having to unzip the side door.

So far the No Bark collar I purchased on Amazon.com is working very well. My yappy dog is becoming a much nicer dog to be around!

The sensitivity on the collar is not reliable or effective. It is difficult to tell if the shock/vibrate has activated, especially while the dog is moving. I assumed it was functioning and activating upon barking every time because it was always on the highest sensitivity level (on level 7 of 7) and fully charged. The prongs and box were placed properly on her neck. Though, my dog continued to bark, which led me to believe the vibrate/shock function was weak. Two days ago, my dog barked while wearing the collar. To my surprise and confirmation, it activated for the first time. She was violently shocked and screamed bloody murder. I've never seen a dog scream. She kept screaming and it kept shocking. My dog and I were both injured as I was trying to remove the shocking collar while she was flailing, running around and screaming. My dog is a lovable, gentle rescued pit bull. I have extreme guilt putting this unreliable collar on her to control her occasional bark. I will absolutely never use this again because the sensitivity is not reliable at all, thus you are unaware when it is activated or how responsive your dog is until it randomly activates. Nor will I ever try to train a dog with a shock device ever again. I will deal with her occasional barking than torture her with such a worthless, unreliable training collar.

We have a 90 lb, very large, very muscular dog who had no training in his previous home. We usually prefer using the Gentle Leader for good, fast control, but this dog still pulled so hard whenever a squirrel was near that we could not control him even with the GL. He started to get worn areas on his snout from pulling against it. Since there are squirrels everywhere right now, we tried this No-Pull Harness. Although we still need to keep an eye out for the squirrels ahead of time, it is harder for him to jump up a tree when we use it and he does pull less. The soft velvet lining on the underside is a nice quality and is tightly sewn to the harness. The whole thing seems very well made and has held up very well so far. It's not as easy to turn your dog away from a squirrel or another dog using this (compared to GL). There is a ring on the chest area so you can attach the leash at both the back and chest, but so far we have found it a bit difficult to master getting him to turn away using this method. I think that with further training (of both dog and humans!), it will get easier to walk him using this. Quite logically, if you are an adult who weighs considerably more than your dog, it works well. It won't work if you want your teenager to be able to walk your stubborn, strong dog. It's also important to follow the instructions and training method. It's time consuming, but it's the only way to cure this behavior.

The first one our pup chewed through, but have no fear after a small wait and a nominal shipping fee they sent us back the first harness better than new and now we have two!!

I'm training a sweet young pit bull to walk on a leash. She wouldn't tolerate the Gentle Leader, which for me, is the gold standard for eliminating pulling and controlling your dog when she sees a squirrel/dog/insert-your-dog's-craziness-trigger-here. So I tried the Easy Walk (didn't fit right and chafing was a big problem) and now the Freedom Harness.

Pros: The Freedom harness is well-made and attractive. The velvet straps are not a luxury but necessary to avoid serious chafing. Once you get the hang of it, it's not hard to put on. The advantage of any harness over a collar is reducing stress and injury to the neck this girl can pull so hard sometimes I thought she'd choke herself. And compared to a collar, the Freedom harness does increase my control when she lunges after a squirrel or other fascinating thing.

Cons: As far as I can tell, this harness simply does not significantly reduce pulling. When she's not trying to chase something, my dog can walk pretty well on a leash, so I just have to control her when she goes after an animal. Although I have more control with this harness than with a regular collar, it is still not easy to control her if she really goes after something. The level of control is NOTHING like the Gentle Leader, which can turn her head away from the trigger. And if she's in a pulling mood, this harness seems to do nothing to deter her.

Bottom line: If your dog has occasional pulling problems and can't tolerate the GL, I recommend the Freedom Harness over other "no-pull" harnesses. But for determined pullers, there's nothing like the GL If your dog can tolerate it.

I have two of these harnesses for my dogs. In both cases, the harness was inadvertently left on them alone. In both cases, the dog did bite out of them and the company (Wiggles, Wags, & Whiskers) replaced the harness without question. The harness itself works well. I prefer it for them as the dogs respond more quickly to a pull on their chest over the typical neck collar. I have to admit that I do not use both rings very often as the ring between the shoulder blades works very well alone but the harness did come with a leash that can attach to the front of their chest and between the shoulder blades. When I used the harness in that setup, the dogs did not leave my side at all.

These are the best large pads for a decent price. I have a minature aussie that has trouble stopping for anything much less doing her business. These pads are large enough to give her room to travel and absorbant enough to stop overflows if she is near the edge of the pad.

These pads are big enough for my two indoor yorkies to use all day. They rarely miss because they are a great size and the absorbency is terrific, as is the odor control. They are also a great size for car seats to keep muddy paws off the leather after a long walk at the local nature preserve. I used to use two of the regular pads every day but one of these does the trick.

My dogs go crazy for these. It's what I give them everytime we come in from outside. Received this carrier after 7 days, missing the side clip and the water dish. Can't get a replacement in time for a trip, so I'm returning it. Just as well. It's REALLY cheaply made. The thickest plastic, where the top and bottom meet, bends very easily. Once you add your pet's weight, I don't think it's sturdy enough. I'll spend a few more dollars and get another Petmate, or something comparable.

I ordered this crate to use in the car for my havanese puppy. I just needed something to set on the car seat to take him back and forth to day care. I wasn't expecting much based on the price and on other reviews, but it failed to meet even my lowest expectations it's very flimsy I'd be afraid to lift it even with a 4-pound puppy inside. I'm keeping it as I don't want to spend the money on return shipping, and it will meet my needs if just left on the car seat, but if you are looking for a decent, well-made crate, I would suggest you spend the extra 10 or 15 dollars on a varikennel or something comparable.
