PAW TRAX PET TRAINING PADS 50 COUNT - R94542

PAW TRAX PET TRAINING PADS 50 COUNT - R94542I have been using these pads since my dog was a puppy. This is also the most economical site I have ever found them on. Potty training was a breeze. I also use the tray and would recommend it. It can go anywhere with you. I have a disability so she is trained to use the tray with pads in a discreet part of the house. I tried cheaper brands, but this pad dries so quickly you can get multiple uses. A trick for training. Buy a can of Cheese Whiz. Each time your puppy does it's business give it a little cheese to lick off your finger-it really works!! And do not worry you will not be doing this forever. My dog who is my service dog only needed the extra praise for a short amount of time-we never had accidents either.

These are so much better than any other training pads I have used. I bought these when I found them at a good price. When I first started with them I noticed my puppy would used to more than the other brands and I also noticed that the floor stayed dry. Well I ran out and had a few of my old brand left. I got home from work and the pad was soaked through and dripped everywhere when I threw it away. The only annoying thing with these is that I can not find them locally so I have to use the old ones until the Paw Trax get here. She has been playing with the old ones as well and making an even bigger mess with the fluff that is in them. I highly recommend Paw Trax!

These are the best puppy pads. They are the most absorbant, the most durable, and the least dusty of any other pad I have tried. I have tried many. Unfortunately, they are only available at Amazon.com and Target.com, and shipping is never free.

This is a great product. I use the tray and the pads.I have a 14-1/2 year old 9 lb dachshund. She is blind and has trouble with her back legs. She is in good health otherwise. I started using these pads and tray in January 2010. You can definitely teach an old dog new tricks. She tells me when she has to go and I take her to the tray and she does her thing. No mess or anything. I changed the pads once a day and put in the garbage. I always wipe the tray with a clorax wipe to keep it fresh. This is a great invention and I think it would be great for new puppy training.

We tried this with our new puppy and gave it a good month of effort. We even discussed it with our dog trainer thinking we were doing something wrong. We could not get the puppy to use these, which is a shame since it would have been so nice when we travel. We wasted money and training time on this one, our dog would not use it.

If you try it I hope you have better luck than we did,

Alfie Couture Pet Accessory - Flashing Pet Safety Collar - Collar Color: Baby Blue, LED Light Color:

Alfie Couture Pet Accessory - Flashing Pet Safety Collar - Collar Color: Baby Blue, LED Light Color: Blue, Size: LThe loop the D-ring for the leash was attached to got ripped off within a few days. I managed to somehow make do by sewing some scrap ribbon on for the leash. Then the light got shorter, limited only to the area immediately next to the switch.

Got mine today and it has some kind of short. Won't stay lit even with a new battery, so it's going back. Too bad, I like the look and construction.

Buy Alfie Couture Pet Accessory - Flashing Pet Safety Collar - Collar Color: Baby Blue, LED Light Color: Now

The quality appears good. It's a much lighter blue than I had hoped. The light also appears to work fine, but I'll be curious to see how it holds-up ove time.

I would recommend the product.

Sport Upland G3 Remote Trainer

Sport Upland G3 Remote TrainerI'm very happy with this purchase. The range of this stimulator is better than any other I've seen. Others I've used don't work very well if there are hills or metal structures in the way. Though not perfect, this one is the best I've found. The best thing is the beeper option; it is extremely useful for training the dog and limiting shocking the animal. My only complaint is that there isn't a momentary audio option to support training without shocking the dog.

Mountain Rope Choke Collar 18 Inch - Hawaiian Blue - Medium Dog

Mountain Rope Choke Collar 18 Inch - Hawaiian Blue - Medium DogJake's original mountain collar was 13 years old and we are talkin' plain black rope with two little silver rings. It's totally served it's purpose and is now just starting to show signs of wear, but enough wear that I worry it will break one day when I'm walking Jake. So I bought this collar. This collar is SUPER high quality. Those extra metal cinchers make it impossible to fray or break. And Jake looks VERY handsome sporting his new collar. I still can't believe this collar was SO affordably priced. It's an amazing collar and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a mountain collar. For those of you who may be comparing this to your standard metal choke or the newer metal chokes with the nylon inserts .... do your pup a favor and get him a mountain collar. Much more comfortable for the dog. Jake has had a mountain collar since he was a puppy as that is what the trainer recommended.

Ruff Riders Roadie Canine Vehicle Safety and Training Harness - Size X-Large

Ruff Riders Roadie Canine Vehicle Safety and Training Harness - Size X-LargePerfect. A sturdy car seat harness for for open SUV rear area or car seats for dogs. Once your understand how to put front feet in (bend wrist, up and through) and take the feet back out (elbow bend, back and out) to remove, it is great. Have 4 for 3 different sized greyhounds and one regular dog. HIghly Recommend. And made in the USA.

Good try, but it's a jumble to try to get it on. 1the instructions could be much better. 2It's painful to get on and off. 3 first time adjustments have GOT to be like alculus. Dog safety is important, ad I give the company credit for trying, but they hav got to make it much easier for man and beast to do mass marketing. Not that they're alone. War finally worked for me was a 2 part solution: aa cushioned leather harness and ba shortened nylon Leah attached to the rear seat belt. Easy on, easy off

Easy on and off over the head. Also easy to help our 130lb St Bernard out of the car without her jumping and possible injuring her joins. She gets her paws a bit tangled up when going from sitting to standing and rotating. All and all I would recommend this harness.

Do you see the photo of the product? Does it look like a jumble of straps to you? It does me too and trying to figure out how it works makes me want to scream. We have an 80 lb. dog and it fits like a loose cheap suit. (assuming I even have it on correctly)I kind of feel ripped off as I put one leg in and then pull that leg out and then put the harness over his head and then take that off and try a different way on and then look back at the photo on the package then move the buckle one way then the other then put both legs in then out....well you get the idea.

Puppy Wee Wee Training Pads 23 X 24 200/case Underpad

Puppy Wee Wee Training Pads 23 X 24 200/case UnderpadI got alot for my money but the pads are really thin and they do not hold the urine in one spot. The urine spreads throughout the mat. However since they were such a good price i can jus toss a mat out everyday, which is good because i dont have to worry about the smell.

I would only recomend this for small dogs and puppies, they do the job, but are flimsy and the absorbant material falls out if you shake it open. I wont be ordering them again for that reason.

Buy Puppy Wee Wee Training Pads 23 X 24 200/case Underpad Now

Maybe it was just the batch I received, but the quality of these pads was the lowest I have encountered. Many of the pads in this box were poorly glued, so that the layers separated easily, making a real mess once my dogs used them. (Note for the squeamish: skip the next sentence!) Clean-up was also difficult, because the top layer of the pad tended to come along with the poop when I picked it up to throw it away.

Vetri-Science Composure Liquid MAX for Dogs & Cats, 4 Ounce

Vetri-Science Composure Liquid MAX for Dogs & Cats, 4 OunceFor several years our toy poodle-rat terrier mix licked her paws, which drove us crazy as she slept in our bedroom and she would keep us awake. Our vet kept treating her for allergies, until I suggested that it might be anxiety and they recommended this product. What a relief for all of us!!!

I have no idea if this stuff works because my cat wouldn't go near any of his food that was mixed with it. It has a terrible smell which I think turned my cat away. It's too bad they don't make it smell like fish or something that cats would like. I was disappointed that I wasted $22.00.

It does a great job in calming our macaw. I got lazy one week and didn't add it to his food. He terrorized our house, ate every button in site, attacked our feet, and chomped the woodwork. We're back on track now and much more in control. Just takes the edge off and makes it easier to control plucking. Birds are delicate, I'd consult w/ vet first.

GSI Super Quality Ultra-Safe Electronic Remote Control Dog Training Collar System - Includes Transmi

GSI Super Quality Ultra-Safe Electronic Remote Control Dog Training Collar System - Includes Transmitter, Receiver and Weather-Proof Secure Collar - 150 Yard Range - Ideal for Calling or Locating Dog with Light, Vibrations or WhistleIf you can find batteries that will power it and keep a charge longer than a day it might actually assist you in training your dog. However, in the six days I have it, it went through a pair of batteries in a day. The cheapo ones that came with it did ok, but needed to be replaced the next day, the store brand I had on hand could power the light and make it beep but were not strong enough to make the noise or vibrations otherwise, and Duracell batteries lasted only one day also.

The unit does seem to work, I have used it when my dog barks, jumps and nips. It does stop the action at the moment but without being able to use it like he needs with daily reinforcement I am unable to...maybe after I buy into Duracell I will be able to afford to.

Rechargeable remote dog training shock and vibration collar for 2 dogs

Rechargeable remote dog training shock and vibration collar for 2 dogsI know that is a strange title for this review... but I was really hesitant to purchase these training collars because of the huge discrepancy between the 5-star reviews and the 1-star reviews. And who knows which of these reviews is by a real person and which is by a competing company? Well I am a real person from Omaha Nebraska, and I am giving 4 stars... and here is why:

The collars require a minimal amount of assembly when they arrive which I had no problem with. It helped me to see how they worked. The instructions for use are a little vague and contain some rather funny 'engrish' (who wants to give their dogs "socks" to reward them for good behavior?)... but then again, I rarely read instructions anyway I'm more of a "try it and see" kind of person.

The remote control for the collars is a bit on the large side (like a 2004 cell phone)... and the buttons are numbered 1-6, with 1, 2, &3 controlling one collar... and 4, 5, &6 controlling the other collar. And then there is a small button between the two columns. This small button is the only means of using a non-shocking correction for the dogs... and it BUZZES both of their collars with a noisy-vibration (no pain). Buttons 1 & 4 are the lowest setting of Shock-Correction, 2&5 are mid-level, and 3&6 are the highest shock setting. I do wish that there was an option to use the "BUZZING-Non-Shock" setting on each dog individually... and that is the only real reason that I am giving this product a 4 instead of a 5. Well, that and the slightly over-sized remote control.

The antenna on the remote has a rubber piece over the metal coil that slid off a bit too easily for my liking, so I just put a dab of hot-glue at the base to hold it in place. Worked great.

The collars are just your basic adjustable click-collars, easy on, easy off. I don't know that they are top-notch quality, but even if they did break you could just mount the shock-devices onto your dog's current collar. They appear to be very versatile little receiver boxes. Oh any by little I mean like the size of the transformer end of a cell phone charger. The shock-boxes are a great size for dogs over 15 pounds. I think it might be a bit big for really little dogs... but I could be wrong. My friend who has a Yorkie and a Wheaten Terrier ordered these collars too (on my suggestion) last week... so I guess we'll find out if they are good for smaller dogs too. The prongs that deliver the shock came with rubber stoppers to put over the end of them to keep the metal from rubbing the dogs' necks. The rubber doesn't interfere with the shock though.

I have 2 Blue Heelers. One male 1 year old. One female 2 years old. They looooove to bark for no apparent reason. Not anymore. I give them one verbal warning... followed by one BUZZ (if they are both barking), and then use the lowest SHOCK setting and it corrects their behavior immediately. I have only had to use the lowest Shock setting for barking problems. There is an obnoxious woman who parks right outside my house everyday and then takes her time unloading her fat Beagle to take it for a walk, all the while looking annoyed that my dogs are barking at her.... and no amount of yelling ever worked to get them to stop barking when that idiot was standing 10 feet away with her dog for 5 minutes getting his leash adjusted, locking her car, tying her shoes, etc... But not anymore. They bark, I say "No Bark"... and if they bark again, I use the collars to correct them and they just stop. It's amazing.

My other problem is that there is a 5 foot gap between the gate to their fenced-in yard and the door to my house. While traveling this 5 foot gap there has been a rare issue with them taking off to the apartment complex across the street... especially if there is a cat to chase. My female dog took off 3 days after I got the collars.... I yelled for her to come back nothing. I hit her with a 1-Shock and she turned her head to look at me but just kept going. I hit her with a 2-shock and she skidded almost to a stop and looked at me, but just kept going... at this point she was across the street and about 40 feet away... I hit her with a 3-3-Shock (all the while yelling at her to come back) and she turned around in mid-run and raced back to me as if to say, "Holy smoke, I don't know what is going on over in that apartment complex but you should not go over there!" and she hasn't tried to run up there again.

All in all, I love these collars. It has greatly reduced the amount of completely ineffective yelling that I was doing with my dogs... and they seem to understand better what is expected of them now. Do I like shocking my dogs? No. But it was getting to the point that I was going to have to get rid of them because my neighbors were complaining about the barking. And for the 1/2 the price of a collar at the big-box pet stores I got 2 collars that work great. And I know that I haven't had the collars for very long... and maybe they won't be very good long-term performers, but frankly for the price I paid I feel like I've already gotten my money's worth. And there has been no evidence thus far that they won't continue to perform well into the future.

Product Details:

1. The Remote is powered by a 9 volt battery. I have only had the remote for 12 days, and it still works with the provided battery. Time will tell how long the 9 volt works. Good news is I can get a 9 volt battery anywhere. No need to go to a specialty battery shop.

2. The collars shut off if the dog isn't moving around. I like this feature. It reduces the need for daily recharging. I have only recharged the collars once since I got them and they never did quit working. I just wanted to make sure that they were ready when needed. They sent a charger along that you can plug into the wall or into a USB port. Works great so far.

3. There is a small red light visible when the collar is on... so if the dog doesn't seem to respond, I guess you need to check to see that the light is on. I have not had this issue.

I have, and will continue to, recommend these collars to my friends. Thank you for reading my mini-novel. I hope it helps. =)

I've had this product for a few weeks now, and so far I've been extremely pleased with it. We have two long-haired medium-sized dogs (55 and 65 lbs). We use the training collars on trail walks where there are many temptations (animals, scents) to run off, which they have repeatedly done in the past. Treats were not enough to make them listen to us. The training collars work like a charm, however. The shock is not too strong. We have an invisible fence (w/ different collars) where the shock makes them yelp. They do not make any sound when I need to use the shock for these training collars, but it is just enough to make them listen and stop running off. It makes them much more attentive toward us in general, too. I rarely have to use the shock anymore now. Rather, I can use the vibration feature to warn them when they get too far, which has also worked well. I wish I had bought this product a long time ago. We take them for more walks now that it is less of a hassle with not having to deal with them on the leash, and I think the dogs really enjoy having more freedom to roam while they walk with us. The batteries have been good so far; I haven't had to charge them yet except for the initial charging. I'm assuming the auto-off feature is helping a good deal with the battery life. I haven't tested the collars at 300 ft, but it has worked from at least 200 ft for me. Overall, I would highly recommend this product. It is really a great value, especially for the low price (compared to other training collars on the market).

Buy Rechargeable remote dog training shock and vibration collar for 2 dogs Now

Bought this for my two dogs who go nuts when someone walks by our fence, especially with a dog.

The big one responded immediately to the vibration did not need to use the shock at all. The smaller one was a bit more determined, but the first level of shock got the message through.

Hopefully, they will remember and we will be done with the collar. Totally worth the expense if that is true!

Recommend the collar for those dogs for whom positive reinforcement does not seem to do the trick completely. Fast training.

Received the unit promptly and it works as advertised. The battery in the remote was inserted inverted (to save the juice, no doubt) so I had to remove, turn and reinstall. The rechargeable battery on the collar needed recharging, but once recharged, the unit worked well. The instructions are in broken English, but mostly comprehensible.

The remote control controls two separate units each of which can be attached to a collar to fasten around a dog's neck. The electrodes that conduct the shock are covered with rubber tips (attached). The central button causes the electrodes to vibrate, which is not painful. There are then three buttons on each side of the unit, the three on the left controlling one unit and the three on the right controlling the other unit. Each button corresponds to an increasingly severe shock. Pressing the button causes a shock a few seconds long -it is not possible to give a brief shock by pressing the button briefly. Putting my hand on the unit to test it, I found that the lowest level of shock was painful and caused me to remove my hand and exclaim. At the highest level of shock, I had difficulty keeping my hand on the unit through the entire shock and my hand still hurt a half hour later.

The severity of the lowest level of shock surprised me and I do not think I will use it on my dog. It is substantially harsher than other forms of light correction such as a leash correction or a light smack on the nose with two fingers. This is the only reason I do not give the product five stars -in the end, I cannot use it for the intended purpose.

LATER: I purchased a more expensive ecollar with eight settings instead of the three on this one. This allowed me to give a buzz to my dog that is *not* painful.

was skeptical considering some of the negative reviews but got it anyway and I am glad I did it works great!! My dogs

come immediately when I use the vibrate button I haven't had to use the shock buttons at all. It was really funny watching myself and my son shock ourselves to make sure it wasn't to much of a charge for the dogs! but like I said we have not needed to use anything but the vibrate button. I would most assuredly recomend this product again. and I have a bassett and a very large 1/2 shar pei 1/2 lab.

Travel Jump Set

Travel Jump SetThis is a nice training tool for dogs. I have two border collies and they both love jumping each of the hurdles. They are adjustable and have a nice carry bag too.

I specifically enjoy the travel bag, but overall it is a great travel jump set, easy to put up and take down.

Given the incredible low cost I'm quite pleased. The only concern I have is with the snap-on pieces that hold the bar. I haven't had an issue and if I just leave them on and slide them up and down as needed I shouldn't have a problem. I'd like to have two crossbars but given the price and ease of putting together, this is a great deal.

they are very nice. the only bad thing is is that they are a little small for me. I use them a lot and they come with a carry case. have sliding jump cups and are easy to knock down if you hit them.

I like these jumps, they were easy to set up, good quality. The only thing that would make this product better is if the standard bar height was marked on the poles. You have to measure/mark the bar heights after the jump is put together. Even a template would be helpful. Otherwise it's the best I've purchased and the price was right.

Sunvalleytek BK017 Anti-Bark Shock Collar

Sunvalleytek BK017 Anti-Bark Shock CollarI bought this because it was cheap and I never intended to shock my dog, I just figured I might have to because he barks all the time and the nieghbors hate him so much that they put him inside my house when I leave. THEY dont have to clean up everything he destroys which is WHY he is outside. Anyway. I got him this:Pettag Large over 25# Dog Sonic & Vibration No-Bark Collar and he didnt care, so I put this shock collar on him and he got the point and now I can use the non-shock one. I didn't notice anything bad about this one except that its cheaply made, but its cheaply priced so DUH. But it does work, surprisingly. And I havent seen it false trigger. It only has one dial, I think it says it has two, but it adjusts the sensitivity and it works best on about medium I'd say, otherwise whimpering sets it off, turned all the way down and his barking WONT set it off. Try it out its cheap.

Inexpensive. Cheap isn't a word for this item. It does exactly as advertised. It only took one static shock to convince my dog that something very uncomfortable will happen if you keep barking after the warning tone. When the tone goes off, Chloe calms right down. There is a thumb wheel adjuster on the colar. I found that the best way to adjust this is to hold it and bark at it. Keep incrementally moving the wheel toward the maximum setting until it goes off when you bark. I put a very small piece of Scotch tape over the thumb wheel to prevent it from moving. This method will preclude any false alarms to the dog. Before I started using the tape to keep the wheel in place, Chloe somehhow did something that moved the wheel to its most sensitive setting. It would sound the tone when she would bite on her food. The poor dog stopped eating. Use the tape. I recomend this product. Looks cheap but is actually inexpensive.

Innotek UltraSmart Extra Collar Receiver for IUC-4100, IUC-4200, and IUC-5200 Systems

Innotek UltraSmart Extra Collar Receiver for IUC-4100, IUC-4200, and IUC-5200 SystemsI've had these collars on two dogs for over five years now and agree wholeheartedly with those who think Innotek designed the batteries to fail as close to the warranty expiration as possible. With the exception of one battery which lasted about three years--every other one failed within eight to eighteen months.

My small dogs (16 and 20 pounds) have accepted their Innotek collars and the system enables them to freely roam our property. The device itself is small and streamlined but I had to retrofit smaller straps on the receivers because both dogs looked like they were caught in a trap. :)

(I just checked Innotek's website and now people are complaining about a new flimsy collar-strap design that unbuckles easily--go figure). I have several old straps lying around if anyone wants to pay shipping.

It's time to shop for another collar--the latest lasted one year and two weeks. Come on Innotek, with today's battery technology and your exorbitant pricing; these batteries should last at least five years!

I have this Innotek system for about a year. So far I have gone through 3 collars and now I need a forth. Fotunately, they are all under warranty but after a few months they simply quit working. Hopefully at sme point soon, the folks at innotek will solve the quality problems.

This collar breaks every every 2 months and THEY Won't stand behind their product. I use it very lightly. I never use it in the water or mud even though they say it can be used that way. To be honest I only use it when my dog's eating "junk" behavior acts up. It hasn't worked the last two times I have gone to use it. I then get charged $45 from them to replace the parts. I have been though TWO transmitters and TWO receivers. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased the 5200 system for a hound that would keep digging out. The 5200 is nice as it has the remote and also beeps before it shocks. It works but the battery life between charges is terrible. Less than a week. I needed a new collar and bought this one. Unfortunately this collar is very cheaply made and nowhere near the quality of the original. Also, what it doesn't tell you is that this collar does not have the beep function. So if you are used to using the remote to gently persuade your dogs this one doesn't. The same with linking collars to "A" and "B" on the remote. Overall I think the innotek 5200 has been a disappointment and will look for other manufacturers when it's time for a new one.

We've used the Innotek system for 3 years over a 2 acre area. The original collars were of high quality but eventually wore out. The two new collars we purchased about 6 weeks ago-one already has a broken buckle and neither seem to offer a strong enough tone/shock. Disappointed. Innotek, please, return to producing better quality longer lasting colars.

Guardian Home Pet Collar

Guardian Home Pet CollarWe bought this for our german shep and it worked within the first 15 minutes, no lie!! He got the first shock, and he was scared for a bit. It took about an hour until he learned his boundaries and now we're a much more peaceful household. Once he hears the first beep he backs up. We bought this because he was relentless when we were sitting on our couch. We eat most meals there and watch a lot of tv together there and he just doesn't stop with wanting attention. He's actually a number of times come up and taken food right off of our plates! He would also insist that you play with him actually lobbing his toys at our faces. We're not cruel, he is just relentless! He never, ever stops. He had cut his foot once and was bleeding. We didn't notice right away because he just kept on coming and coming with his toys! He never takes naps, ever! So, we got this, he got a buzz once and we actually got to sit in peace and watch tv and eat. The little disc doesn't have to be permantly affixed and the barrier level is totally adjustable so we can take it down when we're ready to play. My couch is clean and we get peace and he's learning boundaries. We're all happier. The only problem we've had was the collar where the 2 plastic prongs are that snap it on, one broke off, but we're getting it replaced, and even without it, he's still staying off the couch and is waiting to be asked to play instead of being a bully about it.
