They are way too expensive. On line they were not that much cheaper. I have large dogs so I prefer the smaller cause they tend to swallow whole the bigger chunks. And by the way the vet chews with the slender pieces have gotten stuck in my part boxer dog. Just do not leave the house after giving your dogs ANY rawhide chew. I also liked Diamond dog food used to be rated decently. All I know is that it is getting ridiculous anymore, and no,Science Diet either, I think it will be Iams or maybe even Pedigree high end.

I like the material this bag is made of and that it is easy to put my hand in and grab a treat, which is the main reason I purchased this particular item.

If I am walking my dog (wearing jeans with a belt) this bag is perfect to be able to get treats out quickly and easily.

However, if you exercise your dog while you're not wearing a thick belt or if you run with your dog it's got a few problems. The belt clip attachment is a fairly big size clip so if I am wearing my running tights or sweats it will constantly try to fall off. Also the mouth of the bag will gap and spill treats behind you while you are running, bending over or squatting.

Unfortunately I purchased this pouch to use while running my dog so I've had to gerry rig a workable solution to continue using this product.

I've solved both of these problems by putting the bag into another pouch I have with a fabric top that attaches with velcro. I'm guessing if you put a rubber band on the top of the pouch you could keep your treats from jumping out.

I think silicon treat pouch is a great idea. Unfortunately, this one's just way too wide (the pic is the view from the side) or the slit is too deep. Either way, if you run, at every step you take, the silicon slip just opens its mouth wide and treat just pops out. I was really embarassed at the park.

Hope they do a better job next time around. I don't know how many dogs would require this much treat at a time. They should make smaller and narrower version. Or the silicon should be a bit harder. Anyways, looking forward to a better version!

We are using it because it is the best of what we found, but the pouch does not hold the treats if you bend over. Also, the clip is too wide so that the pouch sticks out too far. Good idea. Needs a redesign.

I bought this unit for my 4 yr old boxer and his boxer husky mixed pup; out of the box I charged the first one up for the first of three 5 hour charges it asks to do for the initial use.I put the collar on the boxer and adjusted it to snug fit. Then put the second receiver on the charger for 5 hours; he instantly started behaving different as he had an auto shock collar that I had borrowed from a friend; the story behind him is that he will go into a barking frenzy when anyone passes by or the high school begins to shoot off the track and field gun or announces stuff on the football field. He litterally barks at everything and wont stop even after the person or object has passed our yard 20 minutes ago... I put this collar on him and he was mostly obedient; no longer barking at the windi wanted the remote so i could train him to bark at the things i dont mind and of importance (he is to protect the yard by letting people know hes there, bark at the birds to keep them out of the yard, and bark when someone knocks on the door; since our rental is very long and we dont have a door bell. I put it on and immediately he was being trained to only do such things and i instantly rewarded him for doing so. When the rare occasion he got to barking for more than a few good barks for passers by i just beeped him and the confusion stopped him, when he wouldnt respond i turned up the dial and did it again; if he didnt respond i lowered the dial and tried vibrate (if no response; i then issued a low shock) by this time he is in a frenzy bark and increased to lvl 7 and shock (a good yelp but absolutely no barking) since ive only used a 7 lvl shock on him twice he has never gotten out of control in any sort of frenzy since. The puppy however is much like his father and will continuously bark and wont stop even by vocal command; snugged the collar on her and the beep is usually enough to stop her; but when the rare occasion i have to shock her she never yelps and is confused by the shock and stops her actions all together; when inside for inhome training she responds very well to the beep, but the shock she yet again will stop and instantly return to my side never yelping even on lvl 7 (assuming length of coat is the reason but dont want to give her a shave to make best contact) i know she feels it because her tail goes between her legsi dont want to shave her because her weight also worries me; if I have to shock her at lvl 7 i dont want to possibly hurt her or put fear in her about her master.

The collars are very effective; syncing them with the extremely basic instructions is a bit annoying at first (absolutely dont try to sinch with the remote on 0; if done pull the battery from the remote which will desync)

turn receiver on the select which dog 1,2, or 3 you want the receiver to be set to; press any correction button. if you screw this up; turn off receiver by holding down the power button for three seconds and it will beep loud. Then turn it back on the exact same way you turned it off and repeat step on the one you want. if you turn both on they will both sync to that one button. If you sync one to #1 and want to sync 2 to #2 leave #1 on and turn on #2 and sync it

#1 on sync to remote light 1

#2 on (dont turn #1 off) sync to remote light 2

it says you will have to do this everytime you charge (incorrect; its everytime you turn the receiver off)

I wish it came with another charger for the second receiver.

this product is very good and one of the best ive seen; stand alone time seems to be about 5-7 days with turning it off at night since your only supposed to have them on your dog for upto 12 hours since the can get sores from the prongs.

I did not receive the second set of prongs for each receiver... i dont know if im using short or long; all four sets received are all the same... unlike my last auto correct collar; pretty sure this was their bad.

I recommend this product to everyone since it can control 1,2, or 3 dogs and it wont correct at the same time like the cheaper models. The newest model has an auto feature but is more than the price of a double unit...

Syncing is a little annoying everytime but once you get the hang of it; it is sooooo simple if you dont have the remote set to 0

Purchased this item based on features and price, both of which seemed to meet my needs. HOWEVER, the manual (translated from Chinese I assume) is difficult to comprehend and requires multiple readings (for me at least). It's poorly organized as well and there's no warranty or contact information. The website listed doesn't exist and there's no warranty/registration card. So, if it ever malfunctions, I guess I'm on my own. Had I known that, I would have purchased another similar product.

This is not the collar for me (my dogs actually).

I have tried at least five different training collars for one or more of my five dogs since 2006. When I first saw the Aetertek I was intrigued it claimed to be well made, controlled up to three dogs independently with sound and vibration control and seven levels of shock. It also had a much cooler looking handset compared to those cheaper two dog Chinese units. So I got one four months ago.

In all fairness let me list the good points first.

1 It is well made and while I have only had it for four months it seems like it will last a long time.

2 It came with a nice cloth case.

3 The time between recharging of the collars was sufficient for all day use with recharging nightly.

4 It really does all those things advertised. Mine came with two collars but you can get a third if you need to control a third dog.

5 I have not tested the waterproofness but the collar units look tight.

6 The vinyl plastic collars are heavy duty and the hardware is good quality with heavy chrome plating. 1st class if you like vinyl.

Now let me tell you what I do not like about the Aetertek the cool looking handset is difficult to use. I stopped using it because of this.

If one of your dogs is getting into mischief and needs prompt correction you have push the tiny little button on the side of the handset to cycle through dog 1, dog 2, dog 3 until you are correcting the right dog. If you are in the sun the tiny LED's are hard to see.

Then you have to decide whether to use the ultrasonic whistle, the vibrator or the shock.

If you choose shocking you then rotate the wheel to select which of the seven levels of shock to apply.

By this time my dog has turned over several flower pots, eaten the neighbor's cat and is bounding gleefully towards traffic. Meanwhile my other dog starts acting up. If I am lucky that dog's unit has a higher numerical value so I do not have to cycle all the way through the menu again to correct that dog.

By now I am beginning to appreciate the dorky looking handset of the cheaper units. The cheaper unit is bigger, the buttons are bigger and there are only three well laid out, well-spaced out buttons for each dog. I can jump from dog 1 to dog 2 in a microsecond. You don't need seven levels of shock. Two is enough. The cheaper unit worked better for me.

There are other minor complaints about the Aetertek but they are not important. The handset makes this product useless to me.

In summary this is an idea that sounds better in theory than in execution, in my opinion. Until the designer comes up with a simpler more ergonomic handset this goes back in its nice cloth case and in the drawer. The replacement for my old less expensive, dorky looking 2-dog training collar just arrived.

The aetertek 216s-550s works well. The collar is cheap and will need to be replaced and the battery life is poor. If you do not want to have to remove the collar all of the time and charge the battery I would recommend something else. If this is not an issue, then this unit will work. The unit will get my hyper cattle dog attention.

I bought these for my Bengal cats who eat every meat product I bring home. When I opened the box, I was concerned how they would be able to eat a dehydrated piece of meat, but gave eat Bengal (I have 2) a heart and they were immediately a hit. Of course, when treats are being given, my 2 adult cats want in on the action so I gave them eat a heart as well, knowing they wouldn't like it because they don't like any meat products. I use these freeze dried hearts as a good alternative and addition to other treats / bait for training my dogs. It is a healthy source of protein that has a different make up from liver and other treats. It smells good to the dogs and I dont mind it. It does not tear easily but usually I cut it up before training and if short on time, you can bite through it to get smaller pieces, it does not taste foul. There is some dog bait I just would not put in my mouth. Because the dogs eat a lot of the bait during long training sessions, and kibble does not do it for them, I want bait that is also healthy. I think this does the trick.

I just bought this leash and have had it for a few days now. I absolutely love it thus far. There is no more jerk on my dog's neck, as the leash stretches. It's super cute and I love its look. I was hesitant to buy a soft crate for my 5 month old Australian Shepherd puppy. She is crate trained, but still, I wasn't sure about the chewing. I WISH I had purchased this crate before I bought the hard sided crate. We travel frequently with our dog, and this is our travel crate. She absolutely loves it. She doesn't even have to be coaxed in with a treat. She feels safe and secure, and she hasn't even thought about chewing her way out. I think the 32" size will be perfect for her as an adult dog -she will be about 45 lbs. This is very easy to set up and take down and so lightweight to move once it's set up (unlike our hard sided crate that pretty much stays in one room at home!). If you are considering a soft-sided crate, this one is absolutely perfect!

I have a 45 pound boxer and had to buy this on an unplanned trip that I could not take her kennel. The quality of the crate seems to be pretty good for limited use or if you aren't constantly breaking down and setting it back up. It has aluminum poles in the corners and the rest is a thick material. My pup suffers from EXTREME seperation anxiety; therefore, I was very nervous about leaving her in this. The crate actually held up very well. It is just large enough for my puppy I would think if your dog is any larger than mine, you might need to get the next larger size. The only reason I did not give it five stars at this point is because I do not know how well it will hold up over time.

We bought this crate to use for traveling with our Golden Retriever puppy. It works wonderfully. She had no problem getting used to it (at home we have a wire crate). While I would not use this for a full time at-home crate, especially for a chewing puppy, it works wonderfully for us traveling. We used it both in our vehicle and in our camper. It folds up easily when not in use. I like the zipper top opening for dropping in a treat or toy without having to unzip the side door.

I purchased this toy for a dog who smart and a strong chewer. He especially loves toys that he can has to figure out and can chew. Unfortunately, the dog chew is incredibly easy for him to get out making it no challenge at all. The chew itself is too big for him (a medium-sized dog) and too hard. It's frustrating because the toy wasn't cheap. It seems most chews are either far too hard or soft. It's very difficult to find anything just right.

The toy seemed like a good idea, but it's simply not executed well enough to be useful.

First off, during the time it worked it was perfect. We have a black dog and the collar helped her stand out during the night. However, sizing the collar was difficult, involved cutting the plastic of the inner tube, and was less than intuitive.

The major point, though, is that it didn't work after 30 mins. We changed the battery figuring that maybe it was shipped with an old battery, but still nothing. All in all, we spent $20 for a wonderful 30 mins.

My 10-year old pug loves Buddy Biscuits. He is allergic to most products that contain chicken. The duck flavor is his favorite. The price is good, as this is for a pack of 4. The biscuits are really soft, but do have a strong odor. I recommend storing biscuits in a plastic container or glass jar to keep fresh and eliminate the odor.

I love the fact that they are moist and soft, easily broken into even smaller nibbles (intact they are about as tall as a quarter, but not so wide), so the dogs can get a tasty morsel without eating a whole treat, and tiny dogs can enjoy them too. When I open the treat bag at the dog park all the dogs come running. The gingerbread man style shape is very cute though obviously the dogs don't care. The duck flavor is very hard to find locally. Amazon's prices are very reasonable and I'm glad not to have to chase these down. Cloud Star also makes crunchy treats that resemble these as well. My dog and her friends love all of them.

Oh, and unlike cutting up Red Barn or Natural Balance sausage rolls for treats (which are wonderful too), these guys don't spoil after a day or two. They are shelf stable. Very handy to keep in the car.

I have a dog who barks a lot and we have been training him not to bark as much by using the "Quiet" command and giving him a treat every time he is quiet (first we conditioned him before he barked by saying "quiet and giving him a treat every time we said that word now when we say that word he immediately stops whatever he is doing and looks for a treat).

Treats we have used in the past were good but because they were dry, they weren't as stinky and didn't get his attention during one of his barking rants. These treats are soo stinky and my dog loves them!

I love them because they are easy to break up into 10+ pieces for training since they are soft. Also, compared to most other snacks they are healthy with duck meat being the first ingredient. Although I wouldn't consider these treats to be the healthiest you can get, they are certainly not the unhealthiest. We use the duck flavor because my dog has diarrhea when he has chicken, beef, or salmon and these work well for him.

I find filling the toys up with the peanut butter & freezing them for 10-15 minutes is an ideal way to keep the fur babies busy.

We bought this just to try it out, and ended up throwing it away after attempting to use it once. This stuff is impossible to squeeze out, and the only reason we were finally able to get anything out of it was because we cut part of the bottom off and squeezed out out of there instead. Pointless. Go with the original stuff in a can, or just get natural peanut butter and use a knife to put it in the kong (thats what we use).

i own two labs and a golden retriever and they all go nuts for this stuff (no pun intended). i, on the other hand, had have a couple issues with it. knead the tube all you want, this stuff still comes out too watery to stay inside the kong toy. i tried refrigerating it to thicken some and it got too stiff to come out of the tube. eventually i gave up the fight and resorted to cutting open the tube and using a butter knife to spread it inside the toy. meh, it still works for the dogs but i think in the future ill just buy a tub of peanut butter for them.

For what it is, you may as well just use real peanut butter. Really serves no purpose, unfortunately. Wouldn't really recommend it.

I purchased two of these collars and was very surprised to find the metal stems to be about an inch long. There's no way you can tighten the collar against a dog's neck without impaling his/her neck! Fortunately, I had purchased a different collar with shorter metal stems and switched them over.

The good part about the collars-they work on my stubborn territorial terriers. The warning sound is all it takes now for either of them to stop barking and just watch anyone who walks past the house. We are still working on staying quit when the "wicked neighbor lady" is out in her yard. ;)

My advice--if you have smaller dogs like mine (18-25 lbs), you should find a source for for shorter metal shock stems.

I was pretty skeptical about it being as cheap as it was. However it works and does what it is suppose to do. I don't really think it is the best Training collar on the market, it detecting barking is probably the only feature worth mentioning. How the collar works: Dog Barks.. Collar beeps loud.. Dog Barks when in 30 seconds of the first bark.. Collar beeps loud this time longer.. Dog barks again with in 30 seconds of the second bark.. Collar Gives a slight shock for about 5 seconds. It will continue to shock if the dog continues to bark within 30 seconds of the second bark. I don't recommend this if your god gets smart and figures out that its okay to bark a little... It will not eliminate barking, just make him/her bark less. If that is what you are looking for then this collar is for you! The sensitivity of the barking detecting is actually pretty good only went off a couple times while my dog was scratching. That is adjustable though, and for those wondering: The Collar does not give a very powerful shock, nothing I wouldn't do to myself in my opinion its harmless.

cheap but for 5 bucks ah duh each battier is 5 bucks and for big dog i wouldnt get it, battiers last but a week and in the long run it would be cheaper to get a 50 to 75 dollar one

This collar may be okay, if only the battery had fit the battery compartment. Poorly engineered. On the positive side, the snap collar is awesome...i took the shocker off an old collar and fixed it to this collar and it is super easy to take on and off.

This was the smallest I could find, but may be a bit much for my little babies. My dogs are 5 and 7 pounds, so they're really small. Also causes and issue when they have to potty on our walks needs more length. I'm back to using two leashes.

This particular coupler is not very heavy duty. The nylon is thinner and the clips are smaller, but it is very strong. I have two large dogs, and this holds them very well. I find the two dogs coupled will often spend some of there energy pulling against each other, and not pulling you. This makes it easier to walk them. I should have gotten one of these long ago.

Leather Lead in Black

I ordered this leash due to positive feedback about the item. Unfortunately the leather is only finished on one side which makes the other side feel like sandpaper. The inside of the handle also isn't finished making this uncomfortable to hold. When I needed to temporarily shorten up the lead by sliding it through my other hand it was very uncomfortable. I also doubt the longevity of this product due to being only finished on one side. It would more easily soak up moisture.

If you wear gloves or don't mind a rough feeling leash then this will work for you. It is very thick leather with what appears to be a sturdy clasp.

I returned this item after our first walk today.

Hamiliton is one of the few places you can still get really good leather leads. One of the last places that you can get stitched and back braided leads. Their price is very reasonable for a lead that should last you 15 to 20 years. We work with big high drive dogs and a good leather lead without rivets is a must.

I was looking forward to receiving and using this leash, as I remember Hamilton products as being pretty good. I was disappointed. It's supposed to be black, and instead is sort of a mottled greenish black. I tried lightly oiling the leather, thinking that would help, but it didn't. Also, one section of the leather is thinner and stretchier than the rest. Not only does it look bad, it will not stand up to a dog that pulls, as mine does. The snap is the right color and weight, and looks good.

I would return the item, but probably can't, due to having tried oiling it to even up the color and condition it...not to mention the hassle. I will probably just donate it to the local animal shelter.
