The images & sound quality of the Eyenimal are better than I expected. My primary criticism of the unit is that the device does not "lock" securely in place on the animal's collar, so if your pet is very animated (or simply tries to shake the device off its neck), the device comes loose.

Although I have 3 cats & 1 dog, I bought the camera for my 2 1/2-yr-old Miniature Pinscher...since my cats are all indoor-only animals, I didn't feel the cat footage would be of interest to anyone. However, the typical Min Pin hackney gait is a problem for the camera -it results in every shot in which she's walking or running being extremely "jumpy" and, thus, unwatchable.

If you have a calm dog, or one with a lumbering gait, then this is definitely worth the money!

I loved it for about 3 weeks while it worked.

Then one day my Cat comes in and while it was working when he left...it wasn't when he came home.

It didn't seem damaged at all except foe some scratches on it from my cat rolling around.

He wore it about 6 times in 3 weeks.

I contacted but they blew me off and said I should contact Eyenimal directly...which I did today.

I'll see what happens.

$100 for 3 weeks is ridiculous.

Hopefully Eyenimal will rectify the situation

First of all, I have a one year old--75 pound Golden Shepherd who has lived in the country most of her life. This means she's gone outside without a leash running around several times a day. She was very well trained except for leash-training because it seemed a huge hassle and unnecessary. I regretted this immediately when I moved into an apartment last month.

I started to leash train her using several different methods, and it all ended up the same--I would be tired and frustrated and so would she. Walking had become a dreaded obligation; however, I knew she needed exercise so I couldnt simply stop walking her, despite the fact I was almost in tears at the end of our walk because my arm was so sore. I had thought about buying this collar before, but decided against it because it was so expensive and I didnt want to invest in something that didnt "work" like I'd been doing. However, It came to the point last week where my dog saw a bird, took off, and pulled me accross the mud in a movie-scene-quality stunt. That was it.

When taking the collar out of the package it seemed a little complex, but took me less than 2 minutes to fit it on my dog--it has picture instructions included. I was scared of the leash at first because it was so thin compared to my super-thick-double-stitched-nylon leash I'd been using, I figured my dog would snap it within seconds. Oh, was I DEAD wrong!

On the FIRST walk she'd try to pull, I'd yank very quickly and lightly on the leash then she was at my side. Just like that, with hardly any effort. It probably took me 5-6 quick pulls before she walked at my side entirely, like you see really WELL trained dogs doing. It was amzing, there was actually slack on the leash and I barely noticed she was on the other side!!

After a 3 walks, many birds, bikers, and other dogs passed us by and my dog walked right next to me--I didnt have to pull one time.

Just a breif thoughts to some of the negative reviews: They really made me nervous when I first read them. The worst was wondering if it was humane to use a collar like this--would I be choking my dog or injuring her? After using it: NO! Anyone who thinks differently should try it. She barely seemed to notice when I tugged on the leash--Plus it has actually saved her a LOT of grief. On her regular collar she would pull so hard for so long she would make horrible rasping/caughing/choking noises that would scare me--but It was inevitable if I didnt run behind her keeping slack on the leash the whole 'walk'. Basically a win for both of us.

Also, this is not a "magic cure" It does work LIKE magic, but it's not a cure-all. This is simply a training TOOL, not a trainer. You still need to put forth effort and work with the dog, this collar just makes it A LOT easier to leash train than anything else.

This collar is great! It has made walking my lab mix fun again!! He is about 55 pounds and used to pull nonstop. This color has made him a different dog. I am able to walk him without getting frustrated and giving up. Definitely worth the money!! Also bought a large one for my American Bulldog who is incredibly strong and it has reformed my walks with her as well.

My girlfriend has the most stubborn dog in the world. He will choke himself to death on a walk and pull like a ox the entire time without ever calming down. This dog collar really does the trick. I have a pit bull that likes to take the lead so it is hard to give her timely corrections with an ordinary collar. The Illusion collar makes it easy, the correction is timely and appropriate. The minute I put this collar on for a walk she behaves.

I purchased this (in a medium)for a foster pit bull (75 lbs) that I could not walk because if he saw another dog, he would pull me and even drag me to get to the other dog. As soon as I put this on he knew something was differentand now he walks alongside me like a good companion. He will still suddenly pull to sniff at something or lunge towards another dog, but now as soon as he reaches the end of the leash and feels the tension against the back of his head, he stops pulling. I even feel comfortable letting my 100-lb 13-year-old daughter walk him. Which is a relief, because as we all know, a good dog is a tired dog.

Large 50" Pet Dog Play Pen Zipped Bottom Panel

Just a quick a note to help clarify that this item does have both zippered top (mesh) panel and zippered bottom (canvas) panel. Many reviews of similar products describe velcro used on the bottom. Perhaps this is a different item, or has been modified by the producers. So far my 8 month old has not figured out to chew or scratch through this, though she clearly could if given the inspiration and a few minutes of concerted effort! Having said that, I intend to monitor her in this very closely to be sure she understands it's another version of "kennel" before attempting to leave her in this pen with less supervision (she has already learned not to destroy her wire kennel and bed). This pen allows a little more room to stretch than the kennel, so I'm hoping it will be a nice option when visiting "grandparents", the office, etc; but I do not plan to leave her in it for long periods unattended -I doubt it would be secure or safe enough for that. The pen collapses easily and fits into a flat carrying case comparable in size to an artist's portfolio -there are no poles or frame parts to disassemble, simply unzip and remove the top and bottom and fumble a bit with collapsing the panels until you figure it out. Included illustrations are barely helpful. The pen provides good visibility and ventilation via the large mesh panels and ceiling. The canvas is not terribly heavy, but looks like it should hold up to moderate usage while keeping the pen light and portable. I would have preferred they use heavier zippers but so far they are holding up OK. Overall the pen is spacious, with plenty of headroom, highly portable and a great price. Seller shipped out immediately and it arrived within a few days.

This is the second dog playpen in our household. We wanted the zippered bottom because our dog used to pull up the Velcro bottom in our existing playpen. Unfortunately when we took this playpen to a friend's house, as we attempted to collapse the playpen, the zipper went past the zipper stop and detached completely from the playpen. Also, our 15 pound dog escaped the first time she jumped it just fell over. We had to add rocks to hold the pen in place and keep her from escaping. Our old playpen looks similar but is heavier and does not have this problem (instead she pulls up the Velcro bottom and sneaks out).

This was perfect for training my lab puppy, we would use it inside of the house while away at work, it leaves enough room for a small puppy pad and puppy bed and our puppy really enjoyed being in it, however it des take up a good bit of space so i wouldnt use it long term, he is now 12 wees old and we have him in a kennel but still take this when we travel and he has never tried to get out of it. over all is was a great purchase for the price and shipping was fast.

I got it anyway because it was only $6 and if it works cool and if not then whatever, I'll just go back to what I was doing before. Yorkies are notorious for being difficult to housebreak. With this, and earlier reviews, in mind I really didn't have high expectations. The first time we took her out and sprayed she went right away! I've had it for a week now and everyday she goes when I spray it and has started to go without me spraying. This worked for me. While she doesn't go in the exact spot that I sprayed she will sniff the area and then about 30-45 seconds to 1 minute later relieve herself.

Simple Solutions is a good brand, but this product is a huge FAIL! i would spray the area where i wanted my dog to use the bathroom & instead of going to the spot, it seemed like he would avoid it. I can't say that this works on training pads because I don't use them to potty train my dogs, but I have been using it on my PupPad (the artificial grass potty training pad), and the spray seems to work in conjunction with the pad. I've washed the PupPad numerous times, so the original "dog pee scent" has been washed away, and after spraying the pad again with this spray, my 5 month old puppy knows to go potty on it. I haven't tested it on any other training pads, so I can't say that it works 100%. It does seem to work on the artificial grass though.

I received this in a small box so didn't even think it was the item. Very cheap piece of metal with a very small bell held in place with a bolt and nut. Since the bell is not dangling from some type of cable my dog would need a hammer to make it ring. They say to loosen the nut but this is of NO help. I can return it but I must pay shipping.

The bell is attached with a bolt. If you loosen the bolt (as instructed) enough for it to swing and ringit falls off after a day or two. I drilled a hole in the bolt and attached it with a "key ring." Now it works great.

We absolutely LOVE this bell for our poodle/bichon mix. We had been using the sleigh bell type dog bell, but could not hear it when our dog would ring it even in the next room because we have a more noisy household with 5 kids. I adopted a year old Border Collie a few years ago from Border Collie Rescue of Norther California. He seemed like an odd looking Border Collie to me, but they felt certain about him. After living with him for a couple of years, he seems obviously Border Collie in both looks and behavior, with the exception that he is a couple inches taller than normal breed range and weighs more. He has the relatively more rare white with black coat, but the markings (half black face, large black patch on back) are completely consistent with that type.

The test came back indicating that he is a Border Collie. However, he fell on the very edge of the range on many of the specific analysis they do, which is entirely consistent with the fact that he is a very unusual looking BC. While the vast majority of the report spoke in support of the fully BC heritage, they did allow that the fact that he was on the edge in some tests could me either that he is from a more unusual line (which would be less represented in their database) or that something else was mixed in at some point.

I purchased this test solely with a sense of curiosity, knowing full well that it had it's limitations, and I approach it primarily for it's entertainment value. I was not at all dissatisfied in any respect it was amusing, informative and while it didn't answer the question definitively, I was proud that it confirmed my intuitive sense of my dogs ancestry. Fun stuff.

I sent away my DNA test for my mixed breed 5 month old puppy very anxious to get the results. When I received the email, I couldn't have been more disappointed! My test results indicated that my dog is a 50% Chinese Shar-pei and 25% Whippet and 25% other mixed breeds and gave me 5 different breeds that ranged from a basset hound to a terrier for the remaining 25%. Well that is just so unbelievable to me. My dog has blue eyes, and also webbed feet, and brindle like coat which are all very dominant traits. I emailed Wisdom asking if we could redo the test because the results just don't make any sense. Wisdom Panel gave me all kinds of suggestions as to why my dog doesn't look anything like the breeds they are telling me he is. Then they asked me for a picture of my dog, which I was hesitant to give but I did. They then explained how his image does relate to their suggestions and then they changed and added Huskey in the mix. Long, long story short I got no where with them. I asked for another test to try again, and I then asked for a refund and they denied both. I later got in touch with the lady who had the litter of puppies and found out his Mother was a PitBull/Lab mix and Father was a Huskey/German Shepherd mix. Makes perfect sense! I've seen maybe reviews which are positive, but unfortunately my experience was bad.

My cats love fresh water. Unfortunately, they are always hovering around the sink, ready to drink out of the faucet. I've been dying to try one of these filtration devices, but knowing how fickle cats can be, I wasn't sure if these filters were overly noisy or would attract my cats. This device works great. The cats are intrigued both by the sound and the constantly moving water, and they drink from it regularly. The sound level is comparable to a fish tank filter, which is oddly soothing. The filter does a good job picking up fur, but with 2 cats, it is admittedly a constant struggle. I give no demerits for that, but the only downside is that there must be a plug located relatively close to their bowl. The cord is a few feet long, but there are no outlets located near the kitchen floor in my house, as most kitchen plugs are (obviously) located on the countertop. Please keep that in mind as you may need to rearrange your dog or cat's feeding area to accomodate. All in all, a fine device.

Our dog was freaked out by the presence of this item in her bowl. Not a good choice for skittish animals. Additionally, over time, mold grew where it was placed in the bowl. We were not impressed. Not recommended.

I had good intentions with this product that my dogs would have more fresh water and their well being would be dog-gone-good. It was a good thought but the reality is it didn't work out to well for me. The electrical cord was too short and without running an extension cord, which is not a good idea around playful often mishievous dogs,would not operate in ther area. That was the first problem. The second problem was when I gave a demo for the dogs they gave me the sideways shake of the head look like what is going on? They would not drink and as a matter of fact were a little intimidated as they backed away as though scared of the gurgling sounds coming from ther dish. So much for good intentions. I had to put it away because they would not drink from it and I was afraid to find out what they would do when I wasn't around. Besides the cord nearby was not a good idea. For me it didn't work out well. this is not to say you might not have better luck with your pets. Mine just did not like it because the sound freaked them out. Good luck if you buy this one. Myself I dump(water a plant) the water and give them fresh.

I have a tightly wound Aussie, and she was not pleased with this thing in her bowl. She refused to drink from it the sounds and splashing were scary. The cord was also ridiculously short and we had to relocate her water bowl to use it. She doesn't really like change and at first thought that relocating the food and water bowls were the issue, but when we removed the filter at the end of the day, she drank just fine from the relocated bowl.

My dog is also afraid of the vacuum and other things that make noise, so she is probably not a good candidate for this item, but I wanted to try it because she tends to get filthy sticking her face in mud and then her bowl gets dirty and slimy, and I hoped this would help. But, I guess the dirt is really not bad, much like when we were kids and drank from a hose, we built up a lot of resistance to germs that way. Maybe dogs don't need filters.

This didn't work out well for my boxer as she didn't like the noise and thought it more of a toy. She stays outside most of the day so we had to use a long outdoor extension cord which was in the way. I thought it was more of a fountain but the filter kept most of the dirt out. I would think it would be better suited for small indoor pets.
