Dog Collar with Orange LED Lights, Multi-Function, Medium

We have a black dog who is really hard to see at night. This collar is so bright, you can see him on the darkest of nights. I feel better knowing cars will be able to see him and slow down in plenty of time.

I ordered the orange collar, and was pleasantly surprised with how well it lights our way when we walk in the dark. I have a Westie and he glows orange around his head when we walk--which seems to distract the neighbors a little, but it's worth it. The collar also lights up the snow around us when we walk. We are definitely noticed in the dark when crossing the street--we get a lot of stares--and that's the point. The lights have three "on" modes: on without movement, rapid flashing, and slower flashing.

One thing that I had to figure out on my own, since it was not explained in the description or any directions, was that you can adjust the collar over the bulbs. The clip is loose enough to do that. My dog is smaller and at first I thought that the collar was too large for him despite me having measured his neck to order the appropriate size. It really is adjustable. Just try to position the clip between bulbs.

My dog is solid black & while taking a trip to the mountains where there are no street lights, I decided to purchase this collar. I worked great. Without it, we wouldn't have known where he was! It has 2 flashing modes which we didn't use, just the solid orange glow kept us aware of his location in the dark. Perfect.

I have a 45lb boxer/pit mix who is incredibly high energy and very strong. She was a rescue dog and hadn't learned how to walk on a lead properly. I have tried several harnesses with only some improvement. Tip: if you get a harness get one that has a D loop on the front (under the neck, like this one has) and not on the back as it reduces pulling. Many harnesses have the d loop on the the dogs back, and if you have a strong dog it just makes it harder for you to hold them as they continue to pull.

The quality is good and it's quite adjustable. The only concern I have is it can rub under the dogs front legs causing irritation. This is only really seen on longer dog walks or if you have the harness too tight.

Large 50" Pet Dog Play Pen Zipped Bottom Panel

Just a quick a note to help clarify that this item does have both zippered top (mesh) panel and zippered bottom (canvas) panel. Many reviews of similar products describe velcro used on the bottom. Perhaps this is a different item, or has been modified by the producers. So far my 8 month old has not figured out to chew or scratch through this, though she clearly could if given the inspiration and a few minutes of concerted effort! Having said that, I intend to monitor her in this very closely to be sure she understands it's another version of "kennel" before attempting to leave her in this pen with less supervision (she has already learned not to destroy her wire kennel and bed). This pen allows a little more room to stretch than the kennel, so I'm hoping it will be a nice option when visiting "grandparents", the office, etc; but I do not plan to leave her in it for long periods unattended -I doubt it would be secure or safe enough for that. The pen collapses easily and fits into a flat carrying case comparable in size to an artist's portfolio -there are no poles or frame parts to disassemble, simply unzip and remove the top and bottom and fumble a bit with collapsing the panels until you figure it out. Included illustrations are barely helpful. The pen provides good visibility and ventilation via the large mesh panels and ceiling. The canvas is not terribly heavy, but looks like it should hold up to moderate usage while keeping the pen light and portable. I would have preferred they use heavier zippers but so far they are holding up OK. Overall the pen is spacious, with plenty of headroom, highly portable and a great price. Seller shipped out immediately and it arrived within a few days.

This play pen has a top and bottom that zips, which is a key feature in keeping your little one safely inside. My 16-pound, Havanese dog was not able to escape at all, much to his chagrin but, he was comfortable inside as it was very spacious for him. The carrying case is a convenient plus that makes being on the go, especially on a road trip, low maintenance. Although it is very easy to setup, it is somewhat difficult to fold back into its carrying case. Overall, this was a solid purchase and we will be using the pen again for future events.

This is the second dog playpen in our household. We wanted the zippered bottom because our dog used to pull up the Velcro bottom in our existing playpen. Unfortunately when we took this playpen to a friend's house, as we attempted to collapse the playpen, the zipper went past the zipper stop and detached completely from the playpen. Also, our 15 pound dog escaped the first time she jumped it just fell over. We had to add rocks to hold the pen in place and keep her from escaping. Our old playpen looks similar but is heavier and does not have this problem (instead she pulls up the Velcro bottom and sneaks out).

This was perfect for training my lab puppy, we would use it inside of the house while away at work, it leaves enough room for a small puppy pad and puppy bed and our puppy really enjoyed being in it, however it des take up a good bit of space so i wouldnt use it long term, he is now 12 wees old and we have him in a kennel but still take this when we travel and he has never tried to get out of it. over all is was a great purchase for the price and shipping was fast.

I have tried just about all the pads and this one is the thickest and most absorbent and can handle the OCEAN that my large growing pup lets loose sometimes. He's now about 50 lbs, and if i get hung up at work and can't make it home on time to let him out, he needs not only a large pad, but one that can handle the large volume of wee he can sometimes produce. I am confident that this will even handle larger adult dogs as well due to the 90 gram 'fluff' weight that can handle multiple cups of liquid without leaking. It's not only the dimensions of the pad that matter, but how thick/absorbent their fill is when it comes to handling large puppies or dogs. This one can more than handle it even if his bladder is full.

These are also neatly packaged in a set of plastic sub-bags within the box, so easy to carry and store the packages rather than having to store or haul around a big cardboard box while you're using them.

I would definitely recommend these 90 gram pads for larger puppies or adult dogs or if you've had trouble with pads leaking thru to the floor. The backing on these pads is also thick and excellent and i've never felt a wet floor underneath one as can happen with soak thru in some of the pads.

We have an aging cat who now pees in his bed. We keep him outside now also because he was peeing in the house. Outside he has a small house with a floor heating pad. We cover this with a towel and then put a pad on top of that. We were using 3 smaller pads, but with the larger pad we only have to use one. These type of pads are much like a diaper when they get wet you change them. Using the larger pad makes it cheaper as we change the pad everyday and wash and clean the cat. I was notified by Amazon when this was shipped and given a tracking number. There was some mixup in the tracking number as when I went to track it it said it had been delivered to Golden, CO, which is not where I live. I sent an email thru Amazon to Piech Sales Co that trades on Amazon as ValuePetSupplies asking about the package. I got an email from the company saying there had been a mixup in the tracking number and with the info they had it would be delivered today. It was... I prefer a different brand for my big dogs but these are great for my Italian greyhounds. I just recently bought this for my stubborn 6 year old boxer. He has never been able to be trusted when he's outside without a leash, because he will dart. He's a very fast runner, and we live in a neighborhood close to a major street, so it scares me a lot when he's lose. I had seen Ceser Millan use something like it for a food aggressive dog, and I'd never even heard of a vibration collar before. I looked around at pet stores, and they were just so expensive. I got this a week ago, and I can now take him outside, with barely any worries. The directions say to use the vibration button as a "go ahead" for the dog, but my dog knows the command "okay" so I just use the vibration as a "no" instead of the shocks. He responds great to the vibration, it annoys him a lot. He's learned (keep in mind, within just a few days) that when I hit the vibration button, that it means for him to come straight to me. If he's starts to dart, then I do use the shock, and he responds very quickly, and stops, then comes back to me. THIS IS A DOG THAT USED TO NOT COME WHEN ASKED. Just tonight there was a bunny and a neighbors dog (whom they don't keep on a leash) in our backyard. I used the shock, and he came right back. I was shocked (no pun intended). My dad tried the shocks out on his wrist, and couldn't tell much of a difference between 1 and 6. That's about the only con. But it still works just fine. I would highly recommend this product.

Our dog was nipping at out kids and digging in the yard. We have had this collar for one week and the collar has changed the dogs behaviour with only using the vibration setting for the most part. We are recommending this product to a friend who has similar issues with their pet!!

I got this thinking this was a good tool to help train our dog. It worked fine and we only used the lowest setting but 3weeks later, all of a sudden it stopped working! we changed the battery in the remote and fully charged the unit on the collar and nothing worked. needless to say any of the progress that we made teaching our dog has gone down hill because she knows she doesnt get in trouble when she jumps now!I just paid 40.00 basically for a JUNK collar and im not happy! I looked into buying shock collars for weeks and read sooo many negative reviews on every brand and every complaint possible showed up. THANK YOU SO MUCH. the only drawback is the batteries are expensive and I will buy them in bulk next payday. they are kind of like the batteries the cameras used in the 90's they don't last long and are expensive..but this collar is totally worth it.

I got the collars and tested them out and they worked great.

They device worked great for a whole 2 days. On the 3rd day

I went to use it on 1 dog and both jumped. So I took both collars

off and tested them. Sure enough, the buttons on the right side

sends a zap to both collars and the buttons on the left do nothing.

This makes the 2 collar system useless to me. And remind you it

This product worked effectively. I highly recommend it as a way to train a dog that walks you (my boston terrier) when you try to walk it. It also was very effective is stopping a dog (my chihuahua)from chewing on everything I own. My dogs have short hair there for I have only had to use the rubber tips. I love that the remote has seperate controls for each dog and a button that can control both dogs at once. An awesome price! Everyone esle online wanted hundreds of dollars for the same product.

The shock is so mild that the dog just kind looks around if you hit the button. Definitely not good if you have a very furry dog. This "baby gate" arrived in 2-3 days of order to be used for our new Golden Doodle Puppy as a wide area (80 inches) gate between kitchen/family room and the rest of the house. This is a nice, moderately light, blue, smooth (no rough edges) adjustable gate which works perfectly to keep puppy in his living area. We simply spread the 4 sections across the wide doorway, slightly leaning the gate against the outer walls of the opening and this works well for our purposes. Understand this is made for a "PlayPen" purpose, but it was the most practical and the one requiring no hardward into the wall. Pup is respectful of this gate, accepts it, and it allows easy entry and exit for these Grandparent owners to step in and out of Puppy's living area for now. I would recommend this gate for a very young puppy for training purposes...probably too easily moved for a bigger and more active grown new dog.

I own 2 SD 1850's and this collar works fine exept when the dog is is run point mode it doesn't stop beeping when the dog moves after a moving target right away. If the dog starts to run it wil stop but if the dog starts to walk it wont stop beeping right away. I use it it training and on 2 trips to South Dakota with the same results. I contacted SportDog and they sent 2 different beepers, no change. The stimulator part of the collar works great. And I really like the vibrate or tone features of the collar. This allows you to give warning to the dog that a shock will follow if the command isn't obeyed. Would I buy another one? probably

I really like the collar-I can see my dog in the dark, and, more importantly, so can drivers in case she were to run out into traffic. My problem is that I didn't realize that it was not adjustable until I received it. The different sizes are listed separately, so make sure you get the right size !I

My husband and I have two rescued dogs that we walk as often as we can, sometimes early in the morning before the sun is up and other times late at night. We wanted a dog collar that worked well in the early mornings and late evenings when we are walking the dogs, and wanted one that kind of warned other people out walking that we had a rather large dog with us. This collar does both very nicely. People (and cars) can see us coming when we're at the end of the road (about half a mile I think). It has three settings, fast blinking, slower blinking and solid. I prefer the solid setting because the flash settings can get a bit distracting (but that's just me, my kids prefer the blinking settings).

We do not hook the leash up to this collar, we prefer to hook it up to a semi-choke collar. We only use the LED collar when it is harder to see on walks (fog, evening, daybreak, etc). The light is bright enough for others to see us coming but not so bright that you can't see the dog or the area you're walking in.

When I first read the other reviews, I thought someone mentioned that these collars lit up the walkway. Please note this is not the case (even with brand new batteries). It is not a flashlight, nor is it anywhere near as bright. It's equivalent to a blinking red light you see on runners or cyclists, but no brighter. We enjoy using it and I would recommend it to anyone else who walks their dogs when it's dark out.

The collar seems to be made of decent materials. The LEDs are fairly bright. I thought I might be able to leave it on my dog so he is always ready to head out for some night bicycle rides. My only problem with the collar is that my dog seems to turn it on a lot when he scratches himself so I cannot leave it on him all the time.

Update:

The LED really isn't bright enough for my liking. That and my dog is so fat that it is hard to get a good line of sight on it. I plan on using it in conjunction with a clip on LED or maybe find a hunting vest for him. The collar is good but not great.

I bought this item because I have a black dog and he needs to be seen at night. The idea is great, a collar with a light (I chose red), that can blink or be steady on. It worked great when I first got it, but soon the light began to randomly decide to not stay on. I changed batteries (twice in a month they don't last long) but that did not help. The light will go off and if I "fiddle" with the collar (i.e., twist it or pull on it near the on/off button) it will go on, but not stay on reliably. I've only had this for a little over one month and I'm ready to throw it in the garbage. ETA: I have not used this collar with a leash, I was just using it as a light on my dog.

Update: The wire between the battery box/switch and the lights broke. Of course, it broke AFTER the "return window" expired......

Well made collar, we just wish it would go just a little bigger. We bought the biggest one they have.

We love this. We put it on our dog at night when we let him out and we can see him as he runs around the yard to do his business.

We actually purchased two and red and a green one.

The three settings (short blink, long blink or steady) are nice but when we set it to blink, he goes out he starts chasing the lights on the ground. Funny to watch. :)
