For me, it's great being able to buy natural treats for my dog that also taste great. My dog loves these (and I like them, too). I've made dog biscuits before, but it's convenient to be able to pick some up at the store. I've tried a number of natural biscuits, some good, some horrible. These are great. I've never bought them in bulk from Amazon, but the biscuits are inside of a sealed plastic bag within the box, so I'd guess that they would stay fresh for a while.

I like to give my dog healthy treats. I tried a box of these low fat treets from Wal-Mart and my dog loved them. I kept going back to get more. Then all of a sudden they don't have anymore on the shelves. I thought I would try to find them on the internet and was happy that I found them but not as happy as my dog. He is a black lab and has a weight problem and weighs about 127 pounds.

While this fence will work, the product is so poorly and cheaply made that it won't last long at all. The first time I put a battery into the collar 2 different pieces of plastic that guide & hold the shocker onto the collar broke off. The wire that comes with the kit is so thin and flimsy (I think it is 30AWG) that stepping on it wrong can snap it when you're trying to lay out the line. Yes, you can get replacement wire, but with the money you'll spend on replacement wire/collar/batteries, plus the time of hassle, you'll be better off spending a little more money on a better system.

I have never installed anything like this before! The hardest thing about it is, butting the wire in the ground.

But our dog has learned not to try and leave the yard now. She doesnt even have to wear her collar a lot of time now.

We have a large dog and this is our first in ground containment fence. It does work. The wire is too fragile, but you can add heavier wire. The collar unit is ok, however after changing the battery every week or so, the wires broke after about 2 months. It's an OK product and does work. I'd like to find a better receiver collar that will hold up to more abuse. Would work fine for small to medium dogs.

I have a black lab that is very stubborn and thinks she is the one in control. I had heard about these training collars and was a little skeptical. I ordered this one because it was less expensive than most and had a display and different modes. I was worried that since it was less expensive that it wouldn't work as well as some of the more expensive ones. I was very surprised when I got it. It was one of the best things I have ever bought. It works well and my dog is the best dog now. It only took about 1 day for her to stop her unwanted behaviors. I didn't even have to turn the electric shock up very high for her to respond. I would strongly recommend this item to anyone looking for a training collar for their dog.

I have a beautiful sweet pittbull. I only got this to teach him to leave the cat and trash alone. It has a few problems and the second could be dangerous 1) by the time you get the remote turned on the dog has usually stopped what he was doing and 2) if the battery starts going out when the collar is on the dog it will make the collar go off till u take the battery out. I will not use this on my dog anymore and don't recommend it. It was a good thing I only had it on vibrate and not the shock feature! The battery life is decent although I did not use it but a couple of times. I would recommend buying a different product.

I have a 7 month old boxer puppy. We purchased this product to help her grow into a well rounded and polite adult dog. I've had this product for 3 months. The battery cover tabs have broken off, the tabs that hold the device on the collar also broke off. We are using tape and super glue to hold it on the collar itself. Now as of a week ago, the static (shock) doesnt work at all, even after putting in fresh batteries in both the remote and the device itself. We reset it properly lots of times and the static still doesnt work, and the collar just randomly beeps. I dont recommend this product, and I am irritated that we spent 34 dollars on this.

-Several different levels (0-100) to train dog with.

-Took only one day for dog to have more obedience.

-Humane, I put it on myself to see how it'd feel, more of an itching uncomfortable feeling than shocking.

-Affordable.

-Comes w/ batteries.

-Great operating distance.

-"Shock", vibrate, flash, and "beep" modes.

Cons:

-One of my dogs seems almost immune to it. If he is heavily distracted, the "shock" doesn't even phase him.

For the price you cant beat it, but it is cheaply made, but for training it works just fine, only drawback that i have found so far in two weeks of use is the range, the product says 300meters "600 feet" but the range is really about 100 feet max and that is with the dog facing me, anything after 100 feet and his collar wouldnt pick up the signal from the remote.

Fantastic harness! Almost instantly solved the issue of pulling and darting, and our walks are finally enjoyable for everyone (including other walkers, as he now thinks twice before trying to jump on them to say hello--an unexpected added benefit!). We have a hound/beagle mix, and the harness is much more pleasant than any of the head leaders or Halti products, as they do not in any way restrict his ability to sniff everything. The only issue we had was in the initial sizing. Our dog takes a small in standard collars and harnesses, and the Sporn says that the small is sized for dogs with neck diameters of up to 12". Just to make sure before I ordered, I measured his neck, and it is 11.5". When the collar arrived, even at maximum length, the collar was far too tight around his neck, and the leg straps were digging in too tightly (they say make them "snug", but they were definitely TIGHT and affecting his gait). I returned it and ordered a medium (Amazon was fantastic with the return, as always), and the sizing was perfect! Just know, if your dog is right on the fence size wise, go for the bigger size! Other than that, five stars all the way!!!

I've bought two of these things. (my dog has a bad habit of chewing all his harnesses) but, these Sporn Halters are great and I have better control of him when we're walking. You really can't beat it! Nice!

I love theses halters but the small really won't fit much but a Chihuahua or small terrier/poodle. My beagle cross fit inside the neck size requirements for a small but the leg attachments are very short and it was way too snug on him. The medium collar looks so thick on him but it works so much better. If your dog is on the far end of the size requirements, get the next size up. I didn't return it but gave it to my friend who has a Chihuahua and she loves it, and I rebought a medium and I love it!

I have two small dogs and they love their early evening walks. The one thing that bothered with with ordinary collars in the past is that whenever I need to discipline my girls, I felt guilt tugging at the collars thus stressing their necks. This halter prevents all of that and more. The loops that go around their forelegs have this padding to it to prevent any sort of scratching or chaffing on your dog's skin. The material itself is built soundly, it's no flimsy collar.

Now, my two babies love these things and they look forward to always wearing it when I take it out of the drawer.

We just adopted a puggle from the humane society about a month ago and her barking when outside was driving me and our neighbors nuts. I bought this at Pet Smart because truthfully I couldn't wait for Amazon to deliver. It has worked well so far. I had to the replace the batteries pretty quickly after getting it but I have no idea how long it was on the shelf and they were cheap batteries anyway. I also had to super glue the snap that keeps the collar on because it broke but now I hardly have to use the collar at all. My dog rarely barks when she is outside and I have not heard any more complaints from the neighbors. I recommend this product because despite the batteries and the latch it has worked great.

My dog is fear aggressive. She lunges and barks aggressively at other dogs and people, bike riders and scooters. I walk her with a prong collar, head halter and muzzle. She is a lab/border collie. Since using this collar, I no longer need the prong collar or the head halter. I do use the muzzle just in case. She is a different dog now. She can mingle with other dogs (on leash) and meet new people calmly now. She no longer shows any aggression. This collar has a warning sound that you can use and three levels of shock. I use level one. I have only shocked her a total of four times and now she responds with just the warning sound. I only use this collar when out for walks and if anyone comes over to the house. This collar is helping her to come out of her fearfulness. You do have to turn off the collar and the remote when done wearing it. The lights on the collar flash every 5 seconds to indicate it is on. Just follow the instructions and they are very clear about turning it off so the batteries don't drain. This collar is an excellent training tool.

Collar turns itself off after an hour or so; nearly impossible to tell if it's on or off, unless you hold onto your dog and squint at the lights. Or push the tone button and listen for it, which just confuses the dog. Taking it back tomorrow after two days. Basically useless item.

A band to place the clicker round your wrist is a good thing. I think all models should come with this feature and if you don't want it cut it off. Given the price of this clicker copared to a non delux I expected something more. After shipping you can pay upwards of $15 dollars for a single clicker. This seems a bit too expensive for any feature. I find the plastic used in the yellow band is stiff, uncomfortable and slides off my wrist easily. You can achive the same thing using sting or two hair bands for less then 10 cents.

I actually use the one I modified more then the delux. All said I feel like I wasted my hard earned money and regret my purchase.

I would also mention the lawsuit against Evanger's by their employees, which Evanger's appears to have lost. The picture these events and reports formed in my mind was one of owners who were willing to do anything to make a buck, without regard to the legalities, consequences to their employees, or to their customers. Maybe you will come to a different conclusion. Maybe I am over reacting. But I want everyone considering their product to learn the facts, read the articles, and make an informed decision.

The price is good for this product. My friend has three small dogs that use these pet pads. They work well until too much urine gets on the pad and then the back of the pad has some moisture. I would still order this pad for the price. We use over 20 pads a day so this product keeps our costs down.

I just purchased these wee-wee pads after trying every brand in the book from a pet shop brand sold at the store I purchased my two Yorkshire Terriers to the hospital grade chucks. All of them absorbed the urine but got soggy and seeped through. These are different. I like that my two pups (both under 3lbs) can go on the pad and within ten minutes the wet spots are died and absorbed. Its odor control works great there is no kennel or puppy shop type of overpowering smell. I have to say I am pleased with how well this product works. You cant even tell that there are two puppies in the house or that there are wee wee pads in the corner of my living room. Besides it doesn't hurt that because of the quick dry and order eliminator I cut down from putting down two pads at a time so they wouldn't have to pee on the same wet area to one at a time since these dry fast and allow them to be reused. I would most def purchase another batch of these before I run out.
