Omega Paw Stop Paw Licking for Dogs, 22-Ounces

Omega Paw Stop Paw Licking for Dogs, 22-OuncesThis product is a miracle! After years of trying different medications and over-the-counter remedies, "Stop Paw Licking" is the ONLY product that has worked. After only one application, I was amazed as how fast it calmed and soothed my dog's paws. I kept waiting for him to start gnawing after the first week it didn't happen. It's been two month's now (I've been using the paw soak along the Omega Paw Body Wipes Omega Paw Dog Paw and Body Sanitizing Wipes, 40-Wipes) and have noticed a definite change in my dog's behavior. He no longer spends hours licking his paws like he used to. In fact, his paws even smell better. It's so easy to use! Thanks Omega Paw!

Our Beagle mix was licking her paws, so after reading the reviews online, I bought a bottle of this product. I thought I noticed a slight improvement, so I stopped (since some people had commented that they had seen an improvement after as little as one treatment.) When I saw that she was again licking, I bought another bottle (in case I had stopped too soon), finished the first and then used the entire second bottle. No improvement whatsoever. When I contacted the company, they did not bother to respond. I think that says a lot about this company. I would not recommend this product.

I used this product on my border collie with seasonal allergies. His paws were red and sore and I was worried about infection. I used this product for 5 days and saw a noticeable improvement. When I brought him into the vet, she took scrapings from his paws and found no bacteria or yeast. This product has been a big help in getting him through this difficult allergy season.

My little Malti-poo started licking his paws when he had an ear infection. He would scratch his ears with his paws and transfer the yeast and harmful bacteria to his paws. So not only did I use the Stop Paw Licking I also used the Remove Rx ear cleaning solution. His ears are all better now and his paw licking has stopped as well.

PureBites Turkey Dog Treats, 2.47-Ounce

PureBites Turkey Dog Treats, 2.47-OunceI buy these for my cats, one of which is an extremely picky eater I try to save these mostly for him since the other cats have such nice appetites. But the minute he sees this bag, he gets so excited and I love any product that stimulates his little appetite. Sometimes the bag has lots of crumbs near the bottom of the bag, but I just sprinkle some on his dry food for flavor; nothing gets wasted that way and bonus, my cat will eat more.

Both my cats love this treat, size of the treat is made for dogs but can break it into smaller pieces for cats. Well packaged.

These are the snizzle wizzle according to our cats. They love em! We can put a couple little pieces of these in wet food that they decide they don't care for today and suddenly they eat all their food. Buy these.

I buy these for my cat because she can't get enough of them. The dog treats are so much cheaper than the cat treats it is easy enough to break up the larger chunks for her. The only ingredient is turkey which is great. My cat prefers the chicken treats, but she does not turn her nose up at these, that's for sure.

Want PureBites Turkey Dog Treats, 2.47-Ounce Discount?

I like that it's a single ingredient treat, which is necessary for my dog with allergies. I had purchased these in a local pet store for twice the Amazon price. They are very fragile and prone to crumbling, making them difficult to keep in tact. The treats from Amazon arrived and were approximately half crumbled and not able to be used for treats. I liked the idea of them, but the freeze drying process makes them too delicate for use as treats.

Nature's Recipe Training Treat - 3.5 oz

Nature's Recipe Training Treat - 3.5 ozCan find the 7 oz bottle online at many other retailers for about 1/2 the cost of this. I would search elsewhere for this treat. My dog loves them, but not at this price.

Our two dogs enjoy these treats quite a bit and certainly look forward to eating them. I like the small size of the treats and the recipe formula that uses chicken as the first ingredient.

On the not so plus side, corn syrup is the second ingredient and also included in the mix is the wonderful, often used animal digest.

Luckily our dogs can't read. They just like getting their soft, chewy treats.

ATC Long Range 1000M Remote Control Dog Training Shock Collar for 1 Dogs with 50 Levels of Tone, Vib

ATC Long Range 1000M Remote Control Dog Training Shock Collar for 1 Dogs with 50 Levels of Tone, Vibration and StimulationGreat product with really good features. Works very well on our very active dog. I consider this collar a good purchase and have suggested it to friends.

UPDATE May 17, 2012 -

-----

Well I am giving a update because the collar with the receiver is broken. It lasted until my German Shepherd got it caught into the fence. He yanked on it causing the side to break off. It was still useable but a few days later the receiver will not respond. I changed batteries, collaborated it with the remote and it will respond once, then stop. I would like to get another receiver but it does not say what model or one I need.

POSTED March 2012 -

------

I already had a training collar for my pooch but the buttons on the remote were not that good and would stick. Making it useless. So I decided to search for a newer replacement and a reasonable price. I ended up here. At the time there was no reviews on this product. I compared "Long Range 1000M Remote Control Dog Training Shock Collar for 1 Dogs with 50 Levels of Tone, Vibration and Stimulation" to a lot of other ones. I almost went with a $20 one but you couldn't change the level of the vibration and stimulation. So I bought this one. My one complaint is that it does not fit a small dog that well. The receiver is so large the poor dog cannot bend his neck well. The collar part is so darn long that I had to tape it to fit him. Now it says that it is a 50 level but it is actually a 99/100 level. There are 0-99 levels. 0 being it is off and 99 being the strongest. I love that it does work. The beep is a little odd, but the vibration catches his attention a lot. I did try the stimulation on him a couple of times and it is strong. The old one that I have he would listen to the loud sharp beep but this one he ignores it. It really isn't loud and sharp. It's odd. He sort of ignores the vibration but since the collar is so huge the stimulation does not always get him. I love the fact that the remote auto turns off. It does take 3 to 5 seconds for it to turn on but he learned from the button clicking and seeing the remote in my hand to stop doing what he is about to do. He is very visual so that works for me. One thing that was not mentioned that I like and sometimes it is a down fall is that the collar auto turns off after there is no movement. So even if I turn the remote back on the collar won't respond until my pooch moves. The loose sound in the collar when shook is a motion detector thingy. So when he gets up and moves it turns it back on. The downfall is about it for me is that sometimes my lil guy does not move very strongly for it. So the collar won't turn on until I shake it a little bit. Other than that, I do like this system. The buttons on the remote didn't get stuck and that is a plus with me. I say give it a chance. I did even though at the time there were no reviews. My husband was iffy but I liked what I read of the product. Also I found a video on Youtube about it.

No Bark Collar***Terminator Sonic & Shock Progressive Training Collar

No Bark Collar***Terminator Sonic & Shock Progressive Training CollarI love this collar. We have had the police come to our house due to the barking from our hound-mutt, while we are away. We had to do something. We tried the citronella spray collar, the ultrasonic noise box, the invisible electric fence, and other bark collars with limited success, everything. Once we found this collar we were very apprehensive about using a shock collar on our dog, so we tried it out on ourselves first. It's very unpleasant but not injurious. It took two days to condition the dog to not to incessantly bark whiel we are away. The dog has learned that he can bark, but only very quietly and not for more than a few barks. I've only given this collar three stars because it is made so cheaply. It breaks. The prongs twist off or bend and break off. The housing box is cheap plastic and the battery lid has broken on several collars. The prongs holding in the battery also are an issue and bend so that the contacts are not good enough to produce a current. I found a sale on the collars for $15.00 each. I bought five.

I saw the price on this and was a bit concerned as the price of this collar on the manufacturers website, the collar that corresponds to the image used by this seller, is $100. I question the authenticity of this item, or wonder if it is a re manufactured product.

Zuke's Lil' Links Healthy Grain Free Little Sausage Links for Dogs, Chicken and Apple Recipe, 6-Ounc

Zuke's Lil' Links Healthy Grain Free Little Sausage Links for Dogs, Chicken and Apple Recipe, 6-OunceCharlotte, my boyfriend's dog, looooooves these. They have a strong savory smell. As soon as she smells them, she licks her lips! If I'm trying to teach her a trick, I'll cut up one of the sausage links into smaller pieces. One bag lasts quite awhile and it's nice to be able to give her moist treats in addition to the dry biscuits. It's also great to know what ingredients are going into her treats I'm an avid ingredient label-reader, so Zuke's products are a go-to for me.

FYI Charlotte is a 3-year old Lab/Staffordshire Terrier mix.

Our dog loves these treats. He runs to the cabinet every time someone goes in. Loves all the flavors!! His favorite treats. Thanks

Midwest Wire Mesh Pet Gate, 29 Inches to 50 Inches wide x 44 Inches tall

Midwest Wire Mesh Pet Gate, 29 Inches to 50 Inches wide x 44 Inches tallThe gate is tall and works well in the standard door jam I am using it in. I use it for my crazy chocolate lab, and it works well. I was concerned she would jump over the typical 36" gates. The 44" height was the main reason I bought it. When I took it out of the box a few screws were loose, and one was even stripped. A little chintzy when it is standing free, but is quote solid when in-place. The total quality is somewhat lacking, but it gets the job done.

needed to separate new cat from rest of our pets and this combined with a 36" gate did the job

Buy Midwest Wire Mesh Pet Gate, 29 Inches to 50 Inches wide x 44 Inches tall Now

This gate did the job for almost two days before it broke.

We purchased this gate to keep the cat from roaming too much, and it seemed to be keeping him confined as hoped. I did notice the adjustment bar was a bit lightweight for the size of the gate and would flex a bit when the gate was secured. Well, it lasted for less than two days (probably 10-12 opening/closing cycles) before it snapped. At $20./day it's a bit too expensive for me!

This gate is exactly what I expected and more. It is perfect for my dogs that are able to leap tall buildings and climb over them. Before I found this gate I was resorted to putting up (2) baby gates one on top of the other, looked horrible, this gate is clean looking and perfect for me!

Blue Dog Bakery Natural Soft Dog Treats, Peanut Butter Flavor Softies, 10-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

Blue Dog Bakery Natural Soft Dog Treats, Peanut Butter Flavor Softies, 10-Ounce BoxesI don't normally write reviews (this is my first one on Amazon!) but this product is a-maz-ing!

I have a 17 year old dog with a whole list of health problems... least of all is the fact that she has five teeth. She's now on a steady diet of canned soft dog food and tons of Blue Dog Bakery Natural Soft Dog Treats, Peanut Butter Flavor Softies, 10-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6). After a LONG search for a treat that was actually soft (we had gotten into the habit of grinding other "soft" treats in the food processor because they weren't quite soft enough) we found these. These treats are fabulous.

First of all, my dog LOVES them. She may be blind and deaf, but she knows her way to her treat plate and gets up to check it about once every 30 minutes just to make sure we didn't leave any happy surprises for her. She can't get enough of these treats.

The reason why I love these treats, though, is because I no longer have to drag out the food processor to grind up other brand's so called "soft" treats! They easily break apart with your fingers and are soft enough for my dog to eat, probably even whole (she's a 17 lb dog, though, so we'll continue to break them up with our fingers!). Think fig newton. That soft. Think no longer having to wash the food processor. THAT HAPPY. :) Plus, they're much cheaper on amazon than at my local petsmart and I'm not spending any money on gas!

I guess the one "complaint" I have with these treats is that they look like real "people" food! When we first got these, my dad saw them in the (new) glass treat container and thought they were for people. However, he didn't think they were quite as delicious as my dog thinks they are... He said they were "a little chalky." I guess they weren't baked with his palate in mind!

I have always given my standard poodles "cookies". They have never turned their noses up at any treats, but, their reaction to the Blue Dog biscuits was, and continues to be, extraordinary.

Their reaction to the Soft Treats convinces me that they must contain heroin. My wife gives them one each at bedtime. She has their undivided attention, while she gets ready for bed. The only downside is they tend to drool whilst waiting.

Buy Blue Dog Bakery Natural Soft Dog Treats, Peanut Butter Flavor Softies, 10-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) Now

My puppy LOVES these, and it is the best (healthy for him and tasty too!) for him. He also likes the peanut butter crunchy treats; I swear, they are the only reason he will "stay" when I leave the house!

Read Best Reviews of Blue Dog Bakery Natural Soft Dog Treats, Peanut Butter Flavor Softies, 10-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) Here

My dog, a German Shepherd, didn't think much of these. Her favorite treat, chicken jerky dog treats from a store that starts with "C" and ends with "ostco", she scarfs up very quickly and with real excitement & enjoyment. These Blue Dog treats she sniffs and won't take.

They do LOOK tasty to me though, to the point where I want to take a bite. Maybe I would like them more than my dog does.

Want Blue Dog Bakery Natural Soft Dog Treats, Peanut Butter Flavor Softies, 10-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) Discount?

I have a young, healthy, athletic Boxer and he had diarrhea so bad he had accidents in the house 3 times and moped around for a whole day after I gave him some of these cut up in his Kong treat puzzle toy. Boxers can have touchy stomachs and he has had a touch of diarrhea before with a new treat but never anything like this. Even the time he got hold of some chicken wings it wasn't this bad. I recently purchased a carpet cleaner and was never so happy to have one on hand, I used it 2 times that night and once again in the morning. If your dog has any sensitivity introduce these slowly or just pass them up, there must be something in them that takes some getting used to.

Zuke's Jerky Naturals Dog Treats, 6-Ounce

Zuke's Jerky Naturals Dog Treats, Tender Lamb Recipe, 6-OunceWe have a little Maltese that we spoil to no end. These treats are the perfect size for him and he loves them.

He can be a little picky. Among his daily treats are Greenies and since we found these on Amazon, Zuke's Jerky Naturals. I will say that we tried two different kinds. Along with these, we tried the Wellness WellBites Chicken and Venison Recipe Dog Treats, 8-Ounce Pouch.

The Zuke's are really potent. When you open the bag, you catch a big whiff of how strong they are. They're probably real flavorful because of it (I didn't try one). The Wellness treats seem a little dryer. While our little guy likes both of the treats, the Zuke's win over the Wellness. Plus they're cheaper so that's even better. He can't get enough of them.

We also tried the Zuke's Z-Ridge Mini Carrot Fresh Breath Dental Chew Bones, 15 Count Pouch made by Zuke's. He doesn't like those as much as the Greenies.

I would say that this product is one of the best we found for our dog. Plus we were able to take advantage of the free super saver shipping as well. These are highly recommended.

[Edit: August 14, 2011]

He still loves them!

We've had to start giving our little guy Remedel for a little shoulder injury he had. These Zukes make it real easy to give him the pill. Since they're moist, we just put the pill inside and press it all around the pill. That way he doesn't even know he's taking it. Trying to give him pills with the Wellness treats doesn't work so well since they're dryer.

[Edit: September 29, 2012]

Anyone else notice that they seem different?? The last couple packs we bought were dryer and brittle. They also weren't as potent as the other ones were. He doesn't seem to like them as much any more. I don't know if the bags we bought were partially opened so they dried out by the time the were delivered or if their recipe changed. I'll buy some more and see how they turn out. A little disappointed...

I have a geriatric mini poodle. He can't chew biscuits or rawhide textures, but these treats are soft enough and still provide some workout for his gums and remaining teeth.

I appreciate the fact that the ingredients are domestic and it is manufactured in the US.

I bought two bags of these, thinking it was the same product that I used to buy in different packaging (light blue, with a see-through dog shape against a grass green background). Unfortunately, it was completely not the same thing! These treats were actually like jerky-tough and brittle. I give my dog soft treats because he doesn't chew the damn things, and he choked on these horrible things; I had to toss them out.

Note that the "Zuke's Jerky Naturals" with the other packaging (http://www.amazon.com/Zukes-Jerky-Naturals-Beef/dp/B00008DFPY) have always been moist and soft, and I've never had a problem with those. I suspect that this batch was not new packaging, as I had thought, but very old packaging; these may be the same treats I usually feed my dog, just having sat on a shelf for years. In any case, these were COMPLETELY different treats, and not safe to feed my dog.

These are not the tough, durable jerky that I was expecting, but small, soft, chewy squares. They break up easily into tiny BB sized balls (maybe 12 per square) and my puppies will do ANYTHING for them! Best dang training aide on the market!

Doggone Songs - Animal Spirit Cd

Doggone Songs - Animal Spirit CdI have a 5 year old wire fox terrier and he has so much energy it never calms down. I work 9-5 and this calms him down so much and like the other person said it's almost like he's in a trance. I spend a lot of time with him and walk him 2-3 miles a day, but he has the most sad look when I leave. I feel good about putting this on when I leave on repeat!

I ran into this CD in the oddest store ToyRUs and thought I'd give it a try cuz I noticed my dogs *Especially Maggie* goes through Separation Anxiety whenever we leave. So I've heard putting on classical music calms them but I couldn't find a Classical Music radio station. Once I got the CD home and played it ... my dogs instantly calmed down and went into what seemed like a trance like state. They were just laying down in their bed just chillin like a cucumber. I'd recommend this CD to anyone with Hyper dogs or Any dog if that ! It's also soothing to listen to for the owners as well. :D

DOGTEK NoBark Voice Bark Control Collar

DOGTEK NoBark Voice Bark Control CollarThis is the collar I use on a small pug, at first it didn't do anything but that was because I forgot to turn it on. There is not button on the collar, you need to use the red magnetic key to switch it on. It works great, my dog bark a lot less with the collar on

the collar worked correctly. i'm sure it works for some dogs, but it had no effect on my dog. maybe she falls in the "extra stubborn" category. she was somewhat curious about the vibration the first time it happened, she sniffed her butt to see if that's where the sensation came from. however, it did not control her barking at all.

Marshall Time Out 4-Ounce Training SprayMy ferret responds to this product; he does not bite at areas where this is product is sprayed, which is a blessing.

This was the perfect solution for my little bunny rabbit who likes to chew EVERYTHING. Just be careful, because somehow it always makes it's way into my mouth or nose (the teeniest drop on your hand is SO powerful!) and it really tastes bad....

OUT! Dog Training Pads with Moisture Lock

OUT! Dog Training Pads with Moisture Lock, 50-CountI bought two of 50 packs and was very disappointed. They aren't the same quilted pads OUT distributes from Target. They weren't quilted and the urine ran off and leaked before it absorbed. I called OUT at 1-800-448-8552 and they confirmed they make two differnt grades of pads with the exact same name the only difference is the better quilted ones have a handle at the top of the package. Until Amazon sells this version saving $5 from Amazon over Target isn't worth it if you use that much in paper towels cleaning up the leaks.

The weather is sometimes bad here so I trained my Yorkie to use a litter box. I lined the pan with these pads and they seem to work well. Not as much tracking. The urine odor is there, but not nearly as bad as it has been with other pads. Much better absorption. I will be buying these again.

simpleLEASH - A No Pull Training Simple Leash and Collar

simpleLEASH - A No Pull Training Simple Leash and CollarLet me begin by saying this is a review for all the rational, realistic dog owners out there who have strong, dominate, stubborn or aggressive dogs. This is not for the idealist dog owner who believes in their heart of hearts all dogs are Lassie....gentle, obedient and laid back. For all those idealist out there writing reviews on this product without having personal experience using it...please stop and for the realists...judge objectively.

Now that we have that out of the way, a little background. I have two South African Mastiffs or Boerboels. For those of you who are familiar with the breed...no explanation necessary...for those who don't, imagine 150 lbs of muscle and determination. Under normal circumstances my pups are loving, intelligent and fun. They are very food motivated making clicker and treat training a breeze in a nice calm, controlled environment. They walk beautifully on a leash around the house and even on the street. You'd swear they were born on a leash.

The problem arises when we walk past a neighbor's yard...and that yard has another dog. My calm, loving, intelligent dogs turn into flailing masses of teeth, spit and general insanity. You can see my predicament. In that state of mind you can forget trying to distract them with treats and clicks...no matter how food motivated they are. No amount of praise or pats on the head would break them out of that trance.

I've tried flat collars, harnesses and even prong collars. Results ranged from highly ineffective in the case of the flat collar and the harness to mildly effective with the prong. Then I decided to try the simpleLeash. Within the first walk, at factory settings I noticed a huge improvement. I was actually able to make the block without fear of losing my arm. The shock from the collar was no doubt uncomfortable but by no means damaging or dangerous. I would even say this type of correction would be far safer than a choke or prong because there is no pressure on the neck or vertebrae. When I bring out the collar my dogs are excited to see it and anxious for their walk...that should tell you something.

The genius of the design is the beep before the shock. It reliably trains the dog to associate a pull with the beep..and a beep with the shock. The shock only happens after a couple seconds of beeping...giving the dog plenty of time to respond without correction.

I must say I almost lost hope of being able to peacefully walk my dogs but this collar has definitely made it a more enjoyable experience for not just me but the dogs as well. Despite what others may think some dogs simply cannot be trained by positive reinforcement alone and this to me might be the most humane and effective form of negative reinforcement you can use. It's like having the skills and technique of a professional trainer in a box.

I have over twenty years of dog experience in conformation, obedience, and therapy dog training. I own a 10 month old female working breed who pulls no matter what training method: treats, praise, flat collar, training collar, gentle leader, canny collar, cesar milan illusion collar, and finally prong collar. She is excellent at heel in obedience class but real-life walks are another matter. I have tried to wear her out by biking with her using the "Let's Go" bike attatchment prior to our walks. The Simple Leash worked immediately. I disagree with those who think it is cruel to use shock methods every pet is different. I have a stronger bond now with my pet and we BOTH are enjoying our walks. There is a thirty day guarantee so there is nothing to lose trying out this collar it may just be the solution you are looking for!

On the VERY first walk using this collar my 110lbs. extremely exuberant 2 1/2 year old American Field Lab rescue pulled exactly ONCE. After that one correction the warning tone was enough. I've since capped one of the prongs, (as suggested in the instructions,) with one of the prong caps included in the package, (a clever use of the same tool used to change out the prongs to adjust for a long/short hair dog.)

My guy has NEVER again pulled on our walks...no matter what the temptation. If he were to ever pull again, it would be very easy to remove the cap mid-walk so he would again get a correction. This is a real plus.

Another plus is the control box incorporated in the collar that contains all the controls and batteries is very small and next to invisible. While I wish it was available in colors other than grey, (since my guy is black,) it is still almost unnoticeable, certainly much less obvious than a prong collar.

I would have given this collar all 5-stars, but for: 1. To adjust the settings, (or replace the batteries,) requires unscrewing the control box. 2. Once you get it open, the switches and descriptions are so tiny you will need a magnifying glass to read them, and even with constant referral to the equally tiny print and pictures in the instructions, I was not sure what the actual settings were. 3. Not waterproof, (so we can walk on the beach, but if he wants to go in the water the collar has to be removed.) 4. I tried this on myself exactly once...at lowest setting, (factory set standard,) the vibration was so strong and unpleasant, it prompted me to open the thing up and try and ascertain if it was in fact the lowest setting, not really sure if it is or not, it was next to impossible to read the switch labeling... even when referring to the skimpy manual that comes with the unit. If it is the lowest setting possible, I can't even image what the higher settings would feel like, nor would I ever try it again on myself or another human I cared about.

Despite these relatively minor complaints, given the instant improvement, I would recommend this product...particularly if you have a dog capable of flying you across the street and possibly dragging you along the pavement in the process as well. If that is your situation, you will be amazed at what this collar can do to improve your relationship with your dog.

I have a very well trained, but VERY high energy lab. I love hiking with her, but it seems like more and more people expect her to be on a lead. I had tried the halters, Gentle Leader, and pinch collars, but she still couldn't help but pull. I tried this leash and collar and it worked like a charm the first time. It came ready to use. She had been trained on my Invisible Fence, so she understood exactly how this worked. Walks are much more enjoyable now.

Thanks to Naveen Baldeo's very detailed review, I purchased this for my two 15 month old rescue pups (65 lb Husky, Coon Hound and Terrier mix siblings).

I started walking them at 4 months old to get used to it, however it was a pull-along every time! The heavier they got, the stronger they got!

I love them so much and did discipline them, but they are just so excited to go walking it was difficult to do so.

The last straw happened a few months ago when they pulled me so hard I injured my wrist (I am barely 5' with skinny wrists). It took a while to heal and the fear of walking them again stopped us from doing so altogether.

These leashes are perfect! The beep is long enough before any corrective action occurs. I have taken them twice already and both times were great!

Yesterday it stopped them from chasing 2 squirrels, a cat, a dog that got loose AND stopped them from jumping on a child that wanted to pet them. All with just the Beep!!

I cannot recommend this enough for anyone who has a strong dog [or dogs] that you want to save from injury to yourself, or them too.

Thank you again Naveen!!

Kakadu Pet Retractable Lead, Long Dog Leash, Small, Up to 44-Pound by 16-Foot, Yellow

Kakadu Pet Retractable Lead, Long Dog Leash, Small, Up to 44-Pound by 16-Foot, YellowI ordered this leash specifically because it said it was reflective. I got this in the mail and it is not reflective at all.

was shipped in a timely manner. I would give this a easy five star, but my dog is 10 pounds and its a little hard for her to pull the lead out. would be perfect for a little larger dog. I still use it daily. very happy with quality

PoochieBells EcoFriendly Moss Green Bamboo Webbing Dog Potty Training Doorbell

PoochieBells EcoFriendly Moss Green Bamboo Webbing Dog Potty Training DoorbellI really like the two levels of bells on this product. After a month, my dog is finally starting to figure it out. She was originally very uncertain about the noise and afraid to ring them. It took about a week for her to get over that. So far, so good though. No accidents since she made the connection between the bells and "Let's go potty."

We used these during a rough potty training patch when our puppy stopped giving clear signals and we had some accidents. He took to the bells immediately, it was amazing. Every time we thought he needed to go out, we'd hit the bells with his paw or kinda have him nose them while we picked him up. He started using them himself within 2-3 days. Unfortunately after several weeks (during which potty training improved substantially) he started to use them when he was bored and just wanted to go sniff around. We tried to discourage it by only giving him a very brief time outside if the bells were rung, but I found I was still taking them down almost every day due to "abuse". We retired them for good a couple weeks ago now that he's reliably trained and he discovered he can just bark at the back door if we're not nearby!

Short answer these worked well for us during potty training but are too loud and too tempting a toy for our pup now that he's trained. I'd still recommend for anyone having potty training trouble (or even just to make it easier on anyone).

My only comment on this design is that the bells are noisy, and of course jingle whenever you use the door, no matter if it's to take the dog out or not. If I were to go through this again I might get a bell mounted near the door, not on it.

My small puppy learned to ring this bell in just 1 week. I rang it with his paw right before taking him out every time and he just starting doing it himself. He was a small 6 lb puppy, now is 13 lbs, still uses the bell. Love that he can use this to communicate with me.

PetSafe Treat Pouch Sport, Cadet Blue

PetSafe Treat Pouch Sport, Cadet BlueThis is a decent treat bag in my opinion. The pouch rarely stays open long enough for me to grab a treat the slightest touch closes it. Which is sometimes a good thing! With other bags I'd bend over and lose treats or a dog would be able to grab them, which is why this is still a good bag. But I do wish it stayed open better. Other than that there's a VERY small zip pocket on the inner side (I can only fit my driver's license in there), and a velcro pouch on the front side (I use it for poop bags, keys and my clicker for training). Really not room for anything else. If I need to carry more than usual, I will put the treats in a ziplock baggy first then put them in the main pouch so I can also throw other stuff in that pocket without worrying about crumbs.

Overall, it's nice and durable and in my opinion worth the money. But I also think it's not the best pouch out there still looking for that one.

I volunteer at the Denver Dumb Friends League (largest animal shelter in Colorado) and was looking for a treat bag to hold not only treats but other items that I need to have during my shift. I was taking my time looking for the right pouch and I almost bought the Kyjen Outward Hound Jr. Then I found this little jem; it is perfect! It holds everthing I need plus has some great features. The strap is great to ensure it doesn't go anywhere or you can remove it and just use the clip which is very strong. Seriously, I very impressed with this product.

I love this pouch. The only thing it needs is reinforcement where it opens, the mouth opening is strips of metal and over time it cuts through.

If you are training a dog and are working towards a high rate of reinforcement or need to keep track of the number treats, this is not the bag you need.

The bag is huge and can fit hundreds of the size treat that I use for training, way more than I need. Unfortunately unless you have that many treats in the bag they are hard to get out because the inside of the bag has very deep corners where the treats like to hide.

I would have preferred a smaller bag with no corners for the treats to get lost in. I bought this as a novice trainer so did not realize what a good bag for quick treating would look like so I take some responsibility but my hand gets lost in this bag trying to find treats hidden in the corners and it several seconds (1 second is preferred) between the time I click and can reliably treat my dog.

My next bag will certainly be smaller with no corners.

I purchased this treat bag to use in training my new puppy and was impressed by the very favorable reviews. However, when I first put mine in use, I immediately noticed that the top opening or "mouth" of the bag is somewhat difficult to get into, and it does not stay open well when you want it to. There is a steel strip on each side of the opening that causes the mouth to spring shut in a somewhat forceful manner. It is difficult to get the mouth to stay open-it always wants to spring shut. If I had to do it all over again, I would just buy a treat bag with an open mouth-it would be much easier than dealing with this bag.
