Bungee Pupee 3-Feet Large Leash, Black/Gold/Grey
This is a great choice for a dog that tends to pull at times. I have this in medium and large. This medium size is perfect for my 45# shar pei and for my 66# shar pei. The medium is listed for dogs up to 45# and has 3 cord strands. The large size was too heavy with the 4 stands for my larger male who doesn't tend to pull. The medium really fit them both well. The large size up to 165# is a very heavy duty product with 4 bungee cord strands that would be an excellent choice for a dog larger and more active than my lazy male CSP.
It is an attractive and very well made leash. I fasten the hand grip in a waist belt for jogging with my 45# CSP. It is durable. If your dog suddenly pulls, the leash gives with the bungee so you are not suddenly jerked by your dog. Ideally, all our dogs would walk or run nicely beside us and never jerk away at a passing squirrel or cat. But, if your dog is like mine--you can never be sure when she will see something that she can't resist!
Highly recommend this product!Dog Leash Blue/Black Bungee Pupee up to 165 pounds 3ftBlue/Black Bungee Pupee up to 45 pounds 6ftDo they stop my hounds from pulling? No. They're the houndiest of hounds, and they like pulling. Perhaps these leashes would have been helpful if they had been puppies and just learning to walk on a leash, but they were all adult shelter dogs when I got them.
However, in every other way these leashes are great. I bought the first two at a pet show several years ago. I just bought the third one for my newest adoptee. The leashes are extremely sturdy and the padded handles are easy to grip. Aside from being a bit dirty now, my original two leashes still look brand new. For me, the 3-foot length is perfect, as if the leads are too long the three hounds tend to get the leashes tangled when all three are walked at the same time.

Using these leashes (bought 3 others in different weights and lengths) to train 2 Labrador Retrievers... one 50 lbs the other 80 lbs. Product works well to get their attention with a short pull on the leash, plus allows for lapse of concentration on the pups part too (say when they see a rabbit... you don't get your shoulder pulled out of its socket). The product is incredibly well made of high quality materials.Read Best Reviews of Bungee Pupee 3-Feet Large Leash, Black/Gold/Grey Here
I bought this leash to help alleviate jerking motions my young Eskie causes during our walks. If you know American Eskimo dogs, you know they aren't the greatest on leashes. They're a very independent minded dog and tend to sprint or leap unexpectedly on leashes, although they are incredibly trainable in other ways. I picked the 3ft length because I live in the city. I can't let my pup (he's 9 months) get 6ft away from me on busy streets and sidewalks.PRO: As far as function goes, this leash does EXACTLY what it promises. It's durable and stretches just enough to absorb the force but no so far that it's rubbery. For that reason, it scored 5 stars.
CON: I was really disappointed that when I ordered it, the 3-foot variety for dogs weighing up to 65lbs didn't come in more than one color scheme on Amazon. I ordered it anyway hoping that when it arrived I'd be pleasantly surprised. However, the moment I saw it come out of the box: "Ugh." I saw recently they added a blue-black-gold variety, and I wish it was available when I ordered this one.
The colors are muddy. I REALLY dislike camouflage color schemes for dog accessories and was hoping the gold bungee would make the leash not appear so camo, but it's definitely camo-looking.
The 165lb 3ft leash comes in at least three different color schemes, but I don't need one nearly so strong for my 18-pound pup. And before anyone says I should have ordered one of the many Bungee Puppee leashes for dogs 25lbs and under, they are all 6 feet long and not what I need.
For function, it's PERFECT. But for appearance, it's a let down and so I deducted one star.

Remote Pet Trainer LCD display Dog Electric Training Collar With Remote Controller
Buy Remote Pet Trainer LCD display Dog Electric Training Collar With Remote Controller Now
I have a 7 month old boxer puppy. We purchased this product to help her grow into a well rounded and polite adult dog. I've had this product for 3 months. The battery cover tabs have broken off, the tabs that hold the device on the collar also broke off. We are using tape and super glue to hold it on the collar itself. Now as of a week ago, the static (shock) doesnt work at all, even after putting in fresh batteries in both the remote and the device itself. We reset it properly lots of times and the static still doesnt work, and the collar just randomly beeps. I dont recommend this product, and I am irritated that we spent 34 dollars on this.Pros:-Several different levels (0-100) to train dog with.
-Took only one day for dog to have more obedience.
-Humane, I put it on myself to see how it'd feel, more of an itching uncomfortable feeling than shocking.
-Affordable.
-Comes w/ batteries.
-Great operating distance.
-"Shock", vibrate, flash, and "beep" modes.
Cons:
-One of my dogs seems almost immune to it. If he is heavily distracted, the "shock" doesn't even phase him.

For the price you cant beat it, but it is cheaply made, but for training it works just fine, only drawback that i have found so far in two weeks of use is the range, the product says 300meters "600 feet" but the range is really about 100 feet max and that is with the dog facing me, anything after 100 feet and his collar wouldnt pick up the signal from the remote.Monday, June 9, 2014
Image® 4 in 1 Pet Remote Trainer Dog Electric Training Shock & Vibrate Collar for 1 Small Medium Do
First, this thing uses COMMON ALKALINE BATTERIES!! YAY! No having to scour the planet or order weird specialty button batteries, no rechargeable system that doesn't last. The controller uses a 9v battery and the receiver uses 2 AAA batteries. Simple.
The transmitter/controller is fine, but it has a telescoping metal antenna that I know I will eventually bend or break. Works fine for now, though. Another interesting feature of the controller is it has an LED flashlight in the end of it. You aren't going to signal in a 747 for landing, but the light is handy for me as I walk my dogs late at night sometimes. The controller also has a button for a sort of "whistle" sound, which I think is a little silly.
The BEST feature of this unit is that you can use electric shock correction, but you can also use vibration! This works great and I use it almost exclusively.
The one real downside of this unit is the level of electronic shock is NOT adjustable, and it is pretty strong. Thank goodness the vibration function works well or I probably wouldn't use this unit because the shock correction is just too powerful.
All in all, you can't beat this thing for $20.I have used several training aides, with very little success, on a very stubborn Blue Healer with selective hearing. After reading the reviews on this products, I felt it was worth a try, especially for the price. This trainer produced more results in 15 minutes than all of the others put together. Now that I have her attention, all I need to use is the whistle or vibrate function on the remote, and she is 100% attentive. There is no more wandering off and ignoring commands to come to me. She is a different dog. I really like the fact that I did not have to shave her neck, as other products require. The collar is still very effective without being overly snug.I would, and have recommended this item to friends. Great product!SO......I got this collar as a means of breaking my dogs barking problem. I liked that it had the vibration or shock option. The noise option is a joke but I hadn't planned on really utilizing that one. My only complaint is that the shock seems to be a little strong. I felt it before putting it on my dog so I would know how strong it was. The first time I shocked her, she jumped 3 feet in the air and screamed and cried. The second time, it wasn't as dramatic. The good news: She doesn't bark anymore if she's got her collar on. Overall, it gets the job done. For the price, you really can't beat it.I purchased this for a cat that I love so much, but just cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry....on and on...sometimes for hours!!!!
Plenty of food. Litter box clean. Pet him but CONSTANT attention needed.
I use the vibrate only. I do not want him zapped. PERIOD.
I only zapped him once, and that was enough to get his attention. Outside of that, when I say STOP, and he doesn't, I just vibrate him and he stops his crying.
It has been a life saver for me. And he is not experiencing any type of depression or isolation that I read on other websites that could occur if I used something like this on him.
He knows when he can meow, when he is playing or horsing around with the other cat. When he is just sitting there and nothing is going on, I say STOP, and if he doesn't, I vibrate him and he gets quite.
Great product.
Would recommened it to anybody.
Again, this device is not intended to be used as punishment. Don't use it just to use it. And do not use it to play games. Be firm about your intentions of what you are trying to accomplish, speak and say "NO" first. If you don't, I will believe you will have a very depressed cat.I purchased ths 4 months ago and had a problem with it in last week but their customer service was better than any company I've ever dealt with. I contacted them via email and explained the problem. They stood behind it 100%. When I gave them a tracking number from mailing the return, I found out they had already shipped a new one to me! BrainyTrade rocks when it comes to customer service!

Lentek Super Bark Free Pro Series Dog Training Device
It arrived and I slotted in 4 D size batterys and discovered all the problems:
1) Doesn't turn on. This is not described in the product manual. The device has a ON time and and OFF time, when it passes the ON time it switches on and when it passes the OFF time it switches off, obvious, what is less obvious is the fact that the time has to pass the ON time in order to turn on, that is to say that it is not aware of being between the on and off times, the on time is the switch so unless it passes that time it will remain off!
2) The microphone is useless, it doesn't get set off unless the dogs were 6 feet away barking at the device directly. This was on the maximum sensitivity level. When it did go off, far from scaring the dogs they barked more, in fact, I had to turn it off just to shut them up.
3) Barking doesn't set it off, but wind does, so when it was windy the device would set off and the dogs would run out barking again.
4) Not waterproof as it claims. I found my device making a strange buzzing clicking noise, it hadn't been raining but a small amount of dew had run into the device and caused it to break.
5) Fake Speakers. I took it apart to see if I could fix it and discovered that 2 of the 4 speakers are fake.
So to conclude this device has 2 small ultrasonic speakers, not 4 as shown. It annoys dogs and seems to make them bark more. The microphone is useless except for detecting wind blowing. Despite the waterproof claim it breaks if it gets wet.
Well done Super Bark Free Pro! Save your money by simply leaning out of the window and shouting "Would you shut those dogs up NOW, I am trying to sleep".
I sympathise with anyone who lives next to yapping dogs, but sorry this isn't the answer.
I will give it 1 star for the unbelievable cheek of putting 4 speakers on the front and only actually having 2 inside!
As for the reviews on other sites were people raved about this item, based on my experience I am dubious of their authenticity. My neighbor's two large dogs bark all day and night, without stop. I work at home and couldn't concentrate or sleep. After just two days or so of using this, the dogs kept themselves on the other side of my neighbor's house as well as decreased their amount of barking by at least 90 percent. I hardly ever hear them.
The timer must be set, which can be a pain, but I set it to only go off for one minute a day so it is basically on all the time. I know when the battery is low (about 3 times per year) as the amount of noise from the dogs starts to gradually increase.
The only downside is that the LCD display (used to set the timer) has faded due to sunlight, but this is normal for LCD displays. Unfortunately, I seem to have thrown away the power cord which would have allowed me to change the batteries with having to reset the timer, so I have to buy a new one. My only recommendation is that you cover the LCD display with duct tape to prevent fading.

The way this thing turns on and off is ridiculous! There is no power on button or switch. You have to program the time. Then you program when you want it to turn on. Then you program when you want it to turn off. BUT... then you must wait until the current time passes the "on" time before it will be on, even if your current time is between the on time and off time to begin with. When I first set mine, the current time was 2pm. I set it to come on at 7am and go off at 5pm so I assumed this would power the unit on and I could begin making the sensitivity adjustments. Wrong. I couldn't start making the adjustments until the next day. How ridiculous is that? A simple on/off switch would be better for most people. Also, the way the programing works is that you can not change only one time. For instance, say you realize that you need to change the "on" time, but that the current time and off time are correct. It doesn't matter. You must go through the whole sequence, setting the time, the on time and the off time all over again.I was so disgusted that I couldn't just turn it on, that I immeditely returned it. So I can't tell you how well it works if it's actually ever turned on. I never got that far with mine.

I bought this to try to control my neighbors neglected dog that is left outside most of the day, and barks at anyone, or anything that it hears, or sees throughout the day including my family whenever we're in our backyard. As stated in another review this unit looks as if it has 4 speakers, but actually only the bottom 2 speakers work, the other 2 must have been put there to make the unit look more powerful than their lower priced model the Lentek Bark Free Pro, but in all reality as stated on the Lentek web page, the lower priced Lentek Bark Free Pro model actually has a larger coverage area. The description on Amazon and many other sites say it has a 50ft range, but the mfg says it will only cover up to 20 ft.
It will detect a bark from 50', but if it's coverage area is only 20' so what good is that?.
http://www.lentek.com/Main/Main.asp?SubCategoryID=31&CategoryID=8&
As for the product itself, I'm using it through a 6' stockade fence which the mfg doesn't reccomend, but I have the speakers placed so that they let the sound go through the spaces between the slats(I hung it sidways).
I did notice at first the dog was startled by the sound, but I'm begining to think she's getting used to it, as she's back to my side of the yard again, and doesn't really seem to get bothered when the thing goes off.
It has been a little more quiet throughout the day when we are inside so the boredom barking has gone down a little, so I will give the unit credit for that.
I paid 48.00 shipped, it comes with a 50' power cord, and will also uses 4 d batteries. Not many positive reviews to be found on any of theese ultrasonic bark deterrents, but the fake speaker thing, and the lower coverage range makes me wonder about this company. One would think that coverage would be an important feature.
I guess Lentek knows most people looking at theese products are in dire need of a resolution so they add "Super" + 20 bucks, and make it look more technically advanced, thinking that desperate people will jump on it,just like myself. For 25 dollars I'd have no problem keeping this unit, but for 50 I'll see how it goes, and maybe return.
I only give it 2 stars because the mfgs attempt at misleading consumers, otherwise I'd give it 3 since it does seem to work a little. Not exactly as good as I hoped, but even a little is something.
I have seen a few positive reviews for the bird house unit, so if I return this one I will give that one a shot, even though it's a few more dollars.

January 11, 2011: After trying two of these, I found (as others have noted) that the timer mechanism on this device is defective, rendering the product unreliable. Though the device may deter barking when it is powered on, the timer mechanism is so unpredictable that you will never know whether it is "on" unless you stand in your yard all day and stare at it [though seeing the power light in daylight is nearly impossible]. You simply cannot expect it to be on at the proper time. The manufacturer has confirmed to me that the product is flawed and cannot give an estimate as to when a reliable replacement will be available. I recommend to Amazon buyers that you steer clear of this device until you see some positive reviews posted AFTER this date. And to Amazon, I say: take this product out of your inventory!

Havahart Wireless Radial-Shape2 Wireless Fence Extra Collar
the cons are the battery needs to be replaced ever other day, which means you constantly have to charge batteries, and the constant changing of batteries wore out the tangs on the inside of the collar unit and now it will not work properly at all, it took just over a year, so now I am not warrentied. I shouldnt have to buy a new collar every year to year and 1/2 due to this design flaw, yes this will happen to you :( !!

Batteries only last two or three days. If the batteries lasted a week, I would give this product five stars! I like the fact that I can set the boundary to contain them in the majority of the yard, so that I am not feeling that my babies are too limited. Changing the batteries every other day is getting exhausting however.Saturday, December 21, 2013
PoochieBells EcoFriendly Bark Brown Bamboo Webbing Dog Potty Training Doorbell
Trying to train the puppy is a headache, though. He uses the bells when he wants to go outside to play, rather than when he needs to pee. Sometimes he does this right after he pees on the floor. :(
Some days are maddening with the constant banging of the bells. I would think this might be better with an older dog that is not full of such energy.
Also, the door is getting very scratched up. It is almost like this teaches the dog to jump on the door.I ordered this product in brown. Unfortunately when I received it, the ribbon was green but the little bag that it came in said brown. I contacted Poochie Bells about this issue also.

simpleLEASH - A No Pull Training Simple Leash and Collar
Now that we have that out of the way, a little background. I have two South African Mastiffs or Boerboels. For those of you who are familiar with the breed...no explanation necessary...for those who don't, imagine 150 lbs of muscle and determination. Under normal circumstances my pups are loving, intelligent and fun. They are very food motivated making clicker and treat training a breeze in a nice calm, controlled environment. They walk beautifully on a leash around the house and even on the street. You'd swear they were born on a leash.
The problem arises when we walk past a neighbor's yard...and that yard has another dog. My calm, loving, intelligent dogs turn into flailing masses of teeth, spit and general insanity. You can see my predicament. In that state of mind you can forget trying to distract them with treats and clicks...no matter how food motivated they are. No amount of praise or pats on the head would break them out of that trance.
I've tried flat collars, harnesses and even prong collars. Results ranged from highly ineffective in the case of the flat collar and the harness to mildly effective with the prong. Then I decided to try the simpleLeash. Within the first walk, at factory settings I noticed a huge improvement. I was actually able to make the block without fear of losing my arm. The shock from the collar was no doubt uncomfortable but by no means damaging or dangerous. I would even say this type of correction would be far safer than a choke or prong because there is no pressure on the neck or vertebrae. When I bring out the collar my dogs are excited to see it and anxious for their walk...that should tell you something.
The genius of the design is the beep before the shock. It reliably trains the dog to associate a pull with the beep..and a beep with the shock. The shock only happens after a couple seconds of beeping...giving the dog plenty of time to respond without correction.
I must say I almost lost hope of being able to peacefully walk my dogs but this collar has definitely made it a more enjoyable experience for not just me but the dogs as well. Despite what others may think some dogs simply cannot be trained by positive reinforcement alone and this to me might be the most humane and effective form of negative reinforcement you can use. It's like having the skills and technique of a professional trainer in a box.I have over twenty years of dog experience in conformation, obedience, and therapy dog training. I own a 10 month old female working breed who pulls no matter what training method: treats, praise, flat collar, training collar, gentle leader, canny collar, cesar milan illusion collar, and finally prong collar. She is excellent at heel in obedience class but real-life walks are another matter. I have tried to wear her out by biking with her using the "Let's Go" bike attatchment prior to our walks. The Simple Leash worked immediately. I disagree with those who think it is cruel to use shock methods every pet is different. I have a stronger bond now with my pet and we BOTH are enjoying our walks. There is a thirty day guarantee so there is nothing to lose trying out this collar it may just be the solution you are looking for!
Buy simpleLEASH - A No Pull Training Simple Leash and Collar Now
On the VERY first walk using this collar my 110lbs. extremely exuberant 2 1/2 year old American Field Lab rescue pulled exactly ONCE. After that one correction the warning tone was enough. I've since capped one of the prongs, (as suggested in the instructions,) with one of the prong caps included in the package, (a clever use of the same tool used to change out the prongs to adjust for a long/short hair dog.)My guy has NEVER again pulled on our walks...no matter what the temptation. If he were to ever pull again, it would be very easy to remove the cap mid-walk so he would again get a correction. This is a real plus.
Another plus is the control box incorporated in the collar that contains all the controls and batteries is very small and next to invisible. While I wish it was available in colors other than grey, (since my guy is black,) it is still almost unnoticeable, certainly much less obvious than a prong collar.
I would have given this collar all 5-stars, but for: 1. To adjust the settings, (or replace the batteries,) requires unscrewing the control box. 2. Once you get it open, the switches and descriptions are so tiny you will need a magnifying glass to read them, and even with constant referral to the equally tiny print and pictures in the instructions, I was not sure what the actual settings were. 3. Not waterproof, (so we can walk on the beach, but if he wants to go in the water the collar has to be removed.) 4. I tried this on myself exactly once...at lowest setting, (factory set standard,) the vibration was so strong and unpleasant, it prompted me to open the thing up and try and ascertain if it was in fact the lowest setting, not really sure if it is or not, it was next to impossible to read the switch labeling... even when referring to the skimpy manual that comes with the unit. If it is the lowest setting possible, I can't even image what the higher settings would feel like, nor would I ever try it again on myself or another human I cared about.
Despite these relatively minor complaints, given the instant improvement, I would recommend this product...particularly if you have a dog capable of flying you across the street and possibly dragging you along the pavement in the process as well. If that is your situation, you will be amazed at what this collar can do to improve your relationship with your dog.

I have a very well trained, but VERY high energy lab. I love hiking with her, but it seems like more and more people expect her to be on a lead. I had tried the halters, Gentle Leader, and pinch collars, but she still couldn't help but pull. I tried this leash and collar and it worked like a charm the first time. It came ready to use. She had been trained on my Invisible Fence, so she understood exactly how this worked. Walks are much more enjoyable now.Want simpleLEASH - A No Pull Training Simple Leash and Collar Discount?
Thanks to Naveen Baldeo's very detailed review, I purchased this for my two 15 month old rescue pups (65 lb Husky, Coon Hound and Terrier mix siblings).I started walking them at 4 months old to get used to it, however it was a pull-along every time! The heavier they got, the stronger they got!
I love them so much and did discipline them, but they are just so excited to go walking it was difficult to do so.
The last straw happened a few months ago when they pulled me so hard I injured my wrist (I am barely 5' with skinny wrists). It took a while to heal and the fear of walking them again stopped us from doing so altogether.
These leashes are perfect! The beep is long enough before any corrective action occurs. I have taken them twice already and both times were great!
Yesterday it stopped them from chasing 2 squirrels, a cat, a dog that got loose AND stopped them from jumping on a child that wanted to pet them. All with just the Beep!!
I cannot recommend this enough for anyone who has a strong dog [or dogs] that you want to save from injury to yourself, or them too.
Thank you again Naveen!!

Coastal Control Ease Training Dog Harness - Medium
I initially bought this harness at a local pet store and paid $38 for it. This harness is made out of very soft nylon with rolled edges and does not irritate. The product has an excellent design that allows for good control of the dog even when pulling or in stressful situations and several options including hooking both front and back hooks, using hands-free leash, etc . . .
My 44lb AmStaff is not a chewer, but is a scratcher, and was able to scratch a thread out. . . combined with pulling, the harness unraveled. I took the harness back to local store, and they exchanged it, said the thread must have been defective. I think it's just a side effect of the type of nylon used. .. appears to rip on sharp objects (like dog nails). Do not leave dog unattended in harness or they could scratch out threads.
After two weeks of use, the second harness, I used to restrain dog while grooming, and the dog pulled so hard, the plastic buckle shattered. This time I called the manufacturer (Coastal Pet Products) I sent the harness back to the manufacturer, and they promptly and politely exchanged it. . .but sent a note with the replacement that they believed it had been chewed. IT HAD NOT BEEN CHEWED. The buckle shattered when combination of my hand gripping with her extreme pulling was applied.
The third harness, I carefully inspected before using for defects. . .I used for three days, and loved it so much, then my best friend borrowed it for her flat coated retriever (45lbs). ..and never gave it back. She even bought a second one for her other dog. With careful vigilance of the dogs, both of those harnesses have lasted 5 months without incident.
So, In short, wonderful product in terms of design and usage but leaves something to be desired in quality and doesn't stand up to reasonable wear and tear (scratching and extreme pressure on buckle.)
I have also tried
Four Paws basic pet harness in medium(leaves awful red marks on white dog's skin and I believe encourages pulling by design but very durable.)And (recommended by dog behaviorist)Sensation harness in medium (doesn't provide same level of control in stressful situation, dog gets turned around and continues to pull, and leaves red marks on dog's skin as must be worn extremely tightly to work)
I have of course also tried the Easywalk (dog was able to pull one front leg out of it within minutes) and gentle leader (dog and I both hated it!)
This is clearly the best harness for both controlling a fearful dog and protecting sensitive skin. . .only wish it was made of more durable materials. My dog is a medium sized (42 lb.) pit bull mix, so very strong for her size. She is not usually a bad puller, but does get excited sometimes. The front attachment on this harness is helpful when I am walking her and she sees something super interesting, like a small animal, another dog to play with, or a person to make friends with. I do not use the lead that comes with it, I use her Lupine lead. I should note, For much of the time I used this harness, I was recovering from very severe golfer's elbow in both arms, and did not have much arm strength. The harness did help me maintain control of my dog reliably.
If you are looking for a miracle control tool for a large, powerful dog that drags you around, I don't think you are going to find one. You have to have patience, and train them that you are the boss. Classes will help. Choke chains, prong collars, head collars, front-attach harnesses, and any other special harnesses and collars may help a little, but ultimately you just need to take the time to teach the dog to respect you as alpha.

PetProjekt Tretbon
This toy is hollow and constructed from approximately 3/8" rubber. When it arrived, it was a bit dirty and had some black markings on it (think like sole marks from sneakers on a gym floor. I thought this was just from shipping, so I washed it off and gave it to our 30 pound dog.
There is a cross shaped cutout on both ends that is designed to enable treats to be incorporated, but its serve as a weak point. Our dog quickly tore off all of the tabs in the area. After I took it away from him, I saw MORE dark streaks inside.INTRO
I am always on the search for new and reliable dog toys our 25lb whippet-shepherd mix has plenty of energy and does not like to be ignored for too long! On a search for new toys, I came across petprojekt's website and was intrigued! I was sent a sample of this product to evaluate in exchange for an honest review.
Our first introduction to treat-based toys was when picking up the funny looking Kong Classic toy and wondering what the heck it was. Since that time, we have found that our dog responds very well to toys that (a) contained treats no shock there, and (b) took some work. Despite being only 25lbs she has remarkably strong jaws (shepherd) combine that with her little pointy teeth and you have a toy-destructor of epic proportions. Many tattered "indestructible" toys later, and we decided that these treat-based toys were the way to go.

I'm all about natural rubber toys for the most part any small pieces that break off will pass through the dog's system without any complications or worries from potential toxins. This is definitely one of the first things I look for when choosing a dog toy. What I like about the trētbōn is the fact that despite being small, you can really pack a lot in! Each end has a cross-style opening in which to place treats, peanut butter, and whatever other things make your pup go crazy! Because the opening is narrow, your dog will have to come up with some creative ways to get at their favorite things our dog has found her process: stepping on the ends and then flinging the bone at the wall. It's rather hilarious to watch to be honest! Because the opening is also made of rubber, it's easy to get a finger in there when cleaning. Very hot water should do the trick I recommend not using soap simply because some dogs won't touch it after.
DURABILITY
As stated on the packaging, this toy is not indestructible and doesn't claim to be. That said, due to the nature of this toy being puzzle-based you will find that it doesn't take much wear and tear (depending on your dog). As I already mentioned, our dog's preferred way of reaching the treats is squashing and flinging, but I would try this out with yours to see if tearing is more their style. For less than five dollars, it's a cheap experiment, and one that may pay off! So far we have stuffed the trētbōn several times, and the only damage is a few *shallow* puncture marks on the ends. Much like the Kong linked above, I am very pleased with how well it has lasted.
PROS
All-natural rubber
Very durable!
Provides hours of your dog being busy and out of your feet
Perfect size for small-medium dogs
Easily washed
CONS
Nothing comes to mind
TIP:
Natural rubber does just fine when frozen, so if you want to provide your dog with a summer treat, I suggest packing the trētbōn full with peanut butter, all-natural liver treats (small) and some blueberries (very good for dogs). Let it freeze overnight and both of you will enjoy the extra time it takes for your dog to enjoy their treat!
OVERALL
This toy has proven to be durable, is easily cleaned and has provided a lot of fun for our dog. The price is very attractive and it has already outlasted toys that cost us twice as much. I can very happily recommend this to owners of small to medium-sized dogs. Even if your dog is a destructive chewer you may find that this is exactly what they need to keep busy! Highly recommended!

This product truly works wonders... No it doesn't harm your animal in any way.. The only slight down-side is, at least my dog does this, the animal learns to bark soft enough that the collar won't spray..Read Best Reviews of Premier Citronella Refill for Anti Bark Collar, 3-ounces Here
I love the collar and I love the spray that comes in the blue bottle the ones that come in the yellow bottle/sprayer didn't work out. The spray wouldn't actually go into the collar for some reason it just spritzed all over my hand when I would try to spray it into the collar. Not clear on what the issue was but it happened with the last three that I had.Want Premier Citronella Refill for Anti Bark Collar, 3-ounces Discount?
My doggie is just little. I could not imagine using the electric shock collar on her. I was extremely pleased with the way this worked, and without causing harm to her.Friday, August 30, 2013

SnugglePuppie, Black Lab

If the Snuggle Puppy isn't available in the color/breed you want, set those wishes aside. This isn't about you! Your new puppy isn't going to know the difference. We got the Dalmation (all that was available at the time) for our Goldendoodle puppy. He LOVES it. We dropped it off at the breeder the night before we picked up our puppy so that it would have the scent of Mom and siblings. Our puppy loves this toy....just remember to turn the heart off when not in use so you don't run the battery down. We've had our puppy for a week now, and he goes right to sleep. I just put him in his crate and he patiently waited for me to start the heart. Now he's resting with his head on his Snuggle Puppy. Totally worth the $$!Great idea but not sure if our new puppy responded to the heart beat or the heat. We forgot to turn off the heartbeat so of course of the battery died and we haven't replaced it. We also only used the warmer pouch once. Nevertheless, we do often find her sleeping on it in her crate like a pillow. We bought the Snuggle Puppy for our new 8 week old chocolate lab puppy. Had it for her first night home, it helped her to settle down that first night. Now it's her favorite toy she plays with it every day and takes it into her crate when we go out. Great purchase!Monday, August 12, 2013

Even my picky treat eater loves these. They are hard, crunchy, and evidently quit tasty. I started to give these to my pups when they go into the crate. Now all I have to say is "crate" and they run from wherever they are, into the crate ans sit to wait for their treat. I need them on auto delivery! My two dogs love these... one dog is 17 pounds and the other is 22 pounds. However, these are hard to chew and could easily break your teeth. My wife brings them to the workbench and breaks them with a hammer and then we give them to our dogs broken up (and sharp actually). They do smell a bit like urine to humans, but again, the dogs love them... perhaps their favorite treat right up there with dried liver. Be careful with these.Want Smokehouse 100-Percent Natural Prime Chips Chicken and Beef Dog Treats, 16-Ounce Discount?
I have ordered the Smokehouse Chicken Chips before and my dogs and I really like them. They are easy to stick in my pocket for treats when we are walking. I think they help keep my dogs' teeth clean, also. I only have one objection to them. I have 2 Dachshunds and the smaller one has very small teeth. She has trouble eating the chips because they are so big and thick. I have bought smaller chips in the past and thought that was what I was getting this time. I wish there was some kind of labeling on the package that indicated the size of the chip. Great product otherwise.Monday, June 10, 2013
