Love the 3 settings for the lights, easy to use, easy to put on and to see at night. It's brighter than I thought it would be which is great.

The glowing LED light is perfect for my tiny black puppy at night otherwise he would be lost in the darkness. i was thrilled that its being made and that it is so easy to put on him since he is so frantic to get outside. But the interior fiber optic tube doesn't allow for much adjusting (even at this size it is still too big). The batteries are dying already and the light is thus faded in brightness. It takes two round watch-style large flat batteries. It would be nice if the batteries lasted much longer!

This is a great choice for a dog that tends to pull at times. I have this in medium and large. This medium size is perfect for my 45# shar pei and for my 66# shar pei. The medium is listed for dogs up to 45# and has 3 cord strands. The large size was too heavy with the 4 stands for my larger male who doesn't tend to pull. The medium really fit them both well. The large size up to 165# is a very heavy duty product with 4 bungee cord strands that would be an excellent choice for a dog larger and more active than my lazy male CSP.

It is an attractive and very well made leash. I fasten the hand grip in a waist belt for jogging with my 45# CSP. It is durable. If your dog suddenly pulls, the leash gives with the bungee so you are not suddenly jerked by your dog. Ideally, all our dogs would walk or run nicely beside us and never jerk away at a passing squirrel or cat. But, if your dog is like mine--you can never be sure when she will see something that she can't resist!

Do they stop my hounds from pulling? No. They're the houndiest of hounds, and they like pulling. Perhaps these leashes would have been helpful if they had been puppies and just learning to walk on a leash, but they were all adult shelter dogs when I got them.

However, in every other way these leashes are great. I bought the first two at a pet show several years ago. I just bought the third one for my newest adoptee. The leashes are extremely sturdy and the padded handles are easy to grip. Aside from being a bit dirty now, my original two leashes still look brand new. For me, the 3-foot length is perfect, as if the leads are too long the three hounds tend to get the leashes tangled when all three are walked at the same time.

Using these leashes (bought 3 others in different weights and lengths) to train 2 Labrador Retrievers... one 50 lbs the other 80 lbs. Product works well to get their attention with a short pull on the leash, plus allows for lapse of concentration on the pups part too (say when they see a rabbit... you don't get your shoulder pulled out of its socket). The product is incredibly well made of high quality materials.

I bought this leash to help alleviate jerking motions my young Eskie causes during our walks. If you know American Eskimo dogs, you know they aren't the greatest on leashes. They're a very independent minded dog and tend to sprint or leap unexpectedly on leashes, although they are incredibly trainable in other ways. I picked the 3ft length because I live in the city. I can't let my pup (he's 9 months) get 6ft away from me on busy streets and sidewalks.

PRO: As far as function goes, this leash does EXACTLY what it promises. It's durable and stretches just enough to absorb the force but no so far that it's rubbery. For that reason, it scored 5 stars.

CON: I was really disappointed that when I ordered it, the 3-foot variety for dogs weighing up to 65lbs didn't come in more than one color scheme on Amazon. I ordered it anyway hoping that when it arrived I'd be pleasantly surprised. However, the moment I saw it come out of the box: "Ugh." I saw recently they added a blue-black-gold variety, and I wish it was available when I ordered this one.

The colors are muddy. I REALLY dislike camouflage color schemes for dog accessories and was hoping the gold bungee would make the leash not appear so camo, but it's definitely camo-looking.

The 165lb 3ft leash comes in at least three different color schemes, but I don't need one nearly so strong for my 18-pound pup. And before anyone says I should have ordered one of the many Bungee Puppee leashes for dogs 25lbs and under, they are all 6 feet long and not what I need.

For function, it's PERFECT. But for appearance, it's a let down and so I deducted one star.

Freeze dried liver has a hypnotic effect on dogs. They LOVE it and will do just about anything for it, so it is a great treat to use for training. (Powdered freeze dried liver is even added to many dog medicines nowadays-heartworm and arthritis tablets, etc.-because it causes the dog to scarf the medicine down like a treat.)

Freeze dried liver has a dry, hard, yet powdery/easy to chew consistency. It comes chopped/cubed. It is extremely lightweight due to the fact there is so little moisture in the product (thus the low weights on product labels).

Even though your dog will love liver treats, you shouldn't overfeed it. The manufacturer recommends 1-2 cubes daily for small dogs, 2-3 cubes for medium dogs, and 3-4 cubes for large dogs.

The largest package sizes of liver treats tend to be far more economical. I recommend buying the larger tubs, as you will save lots of money, you'll have a handy treat supply around for a longer time, and your dog will never tire of this product.

There is really zero waste with this product. When you near the end of the tub you'll find some powdery bits of dried liver at the bottom. Your dogs will go CRAZY if you sprinkle this dust over their dog food-it's a wonderful reward that is easy to use.

These are great training treats when you need something lightweight that won't make a mess of your pockets. I have a couple problems with them though. First, they are too expensive for every day training. Second, the sizes are so inconsistent that you need to cut some of the large cubes up (at this price, they should be ready-to-eat). Actually there is a third, which is that the powder leftover on the bottom is useless to me.

I've found it much cheaper to just put some sliced beef liver from the store in the oven and bake till dry. Cut it up, put it in small portions, and freeze. My dog likes it better than the freeze-dried anyway. I do a whole bunch at a time so I am not prepping frequently. But I figure if I have to prep something, it might as well be something cheap!

My dog goes bonkers for these treats! They seem to be crazy delicious. Some of the pieces are so small, Lulu doesn't have to chew them; she seems to swallow them whole. I wonder how she even tastes them! But she must, because she whines and acts like a obnoxious brat every time I go near the bucket.

I like that the treats don't have any additives. They really stink, though, and the smell stays on your fingers. The smell and the price are the only downsides. Also, I wish the container said how many calories the treats have so I could compare them to other natural treats like Fruitables. The vet said Lulu is getting fat (to which I replied "Yo momma is fat!") and that we should start watching her calories.

If you're curious about the consistency of the size of the pieces, please see the photos I posted. There's some variation in size, and when I tip the bucket, I see more crumbly pieces at the bottom, but I don't foresee Lulu turning her nose up at them!

Beefeaters Little Bitz Small Round Chips with Chicken On Top

I picked up these when the local pet store stopped carrying the thin bone shaped Little Bitz chicken and rawhide chews. The Beefeaters Little Bitz Small Round Chips are circular wafers of rawhide backing with a hard dried meaty topping. I was reluctant about getting these because they are about 1/4 of an inch thick though they don't seem to be more than an inch in diameter, and well I wasn't sure if it would be too big for my teacup's bite. My picky pooch seems to do ok with them though sometimes the cracking sounds she makes scares her but she cant get enough of these. I prefer the similar product by Beefeaters that are thinner less chunky. These are great for smaller breeds. But be warned they give my dog terrible gas. Only recommend these if you really love your fur babies and won't mind the smell.

I've been looking for a good size crate for my puppy. I was a bit skeptic about this crate but i have to make s choice. I'm glad I choose this one. Its super cute in pink and its pretty sturdy. My puppy cant escape nor can she slide it around the floor. I would suggest that you use the crate on a flat surface. I bought the 8 panel one. She has sooo much room in her new home she loves it!

Very happy with the IRIS 8 panel pen. We purchased the pen for our yorkie poo puppy to have a safe place to play, since we also have a large lab. It is roomy and spacious enough . The sides are pretty tall making it slightly difficult to bend over and pick the puppy up ( there is a door) It's very lightweight (plastic, but durable) making it easy to move around.

This product is great for my dog so I do not have to keep her in a little cage while I am gone!

The only thing I had a problem with was that the little plastic pieces that cover the poles would fall off. It is only one of the poles I have had problems with but it is noting a little glue can't fix.

I still love this product because you can add and take away as many panels as you would like!

Lentek Koolatron Dog-Off

Every time I ride I get chased by dogs because I ride a recumbent trike. The Silent button with the ultrasonic sound is less effective than the other button that makes the continual irritating noise. The dogs do pause which gives me an opportunity to cycle away, but on a few occasions they have continued to pursue especially the smaller dogs. Generally it works though. I wish they would make it smaller so attach more conveniently to the bike and also that it would stop the dogs dead in their tracks once the button is pushed. All in all it has actually been very helpful.

The product does not seem to work.. the dogs still bark when I press the button.. the alarm button is pretty loud.. it's great to use as an alarm.. the flash light is not really bright.. But I got this item for the ultrasound for dogs.. but it doesn't seem to work too well...

The first problem I have is that the Emergency Alarm for personal protection should not be on a unit for animal control. The very first thing that happened? My wife hit the wrong button and scared all of us half to death. The other, bigger, problem is the unit isnt powerful enough. It barely works on our dogs and to keep it effective for "barely" we have to use it way more sparingly than we could have imagined thus making it useless most of the time in trying to train our dogs into not barking so much at random sounds. Given the knowledge, based on experience now, I would have tried one of their other products, hoping it was more powerful.

our dog would eat the poop from the kitty litter box. So we setup the box in the hall leading to the bathroom where the litter box was. Our dog went near there once it went off and she left the hallway. Few weeks latter we were upstairs (the litter box bathroom is downstairs) and we heard it go off, our dog came running upstairs and looked like she knew she was in trouble. After that she has never gone near that hallway again. it's been months now and our dog still wont go down that hallway even if we are down it ( laundry is also down the hall) she will just stand at the edge of the hall or lay down there. I bought it so my cat would not pick under my bedroom door at 3 a.m. to tell me she's hungry and wants breakfast NOW. Instead of picking under my door, she picked around the mat, which was just as annoying. If I leave my bedroom door open a crack with the mat in front, she just jumps over it and into the room. I think two mats placed side by side across my doorway would work best, but for now I think I'll go back to piling blankets and pillows in front of the door so I don't hear her picking and scratching. I'm sure it will work fine for chairs and counters, but my cat doesn't have that problem. Oh well, live and learn.
