I have a one year old female Dane who would not stop biting the leash. She would put the nylon lead in her mouth and pull like tug of war when I was trying to walk her. It got to the point where I could not take her on walks because I could not hold her. I bought a chain lead (4 mm) and that solved my problems. She cannot bite the lead and therefore she behaves. She will still jump on me when she gets mad because she can't bite the lead (so that problem hasn't been solved yet), so I do need a no jump harness for her, but this lead definitely solved the leash biting problems.

New foster girl (8 years old) arrived from the rescue and our resident male (who was a foster himself only 4 years ago) wasn't too pleased. Enough so that I went looking for good quality muzzles because I knew for our Great Pyrenees we wouldn't be able to run down to the local pet store and pick something up that would fit. I could not believe that an Amazon search found these and were Prime eligible. I took measurements (you really need a paper tape measure which I have or use a piece of string and a ruler) and made sure the muzzles would fit our Pyrs and placed the order.

The quality of the muzzles is top notch. The metal cage is sturdy. The leather straps are thick and easy to strap on the dogs. I did notice that I had to be sure that the straps were tight enough (top and bottom) so I could only get my finger underneath. Too loose and our male figured out how to pull it off. So I tightened that up and voila. Muzzles the two could not take off. I immediately took the two for a walk. What would have been a snarling match ended up being a delightful walk. The dogs were so curious about the muzzles and trying to figure out how to take them off that they didn't pay much attention to each other.

Back home, with the muzzles still on, they were both able to use their water bowls without removing the muzzles. A big plus since I also wanted them to spend some together time on the same side of the pet gate. Again, the muzzles were distracting enough that the were able to be in the same room together. Something that would have been a snarling match a day earlier.

Next was getting them in the back of the SUV. Again, what would have been a snarling match was a delightful, quiet drive around the neighborhood.

The result is that after only a couple of training sessions with the muzzles on was all that was needed. In literally two days I went from having one unhappy male to two dogs that could walk together, side by side, and ride in the back of the SUV lying next to each other with nary a peep! Simply unbelievable how effective muzzle training was. There is hope if you have two dogs that aren't getting along or one dog that is a bit aggressive with other dogs.

Very impressed with this product. We have had to have a professional dog trainer work with our Great Pyrenees and he was impressed about the quality and the fit. Sizing guidelines were perfect.

It wasn't easy for me to accept that there were times when I needed to muzzle my spirited female Siberian Husky. As an alpha female, and a rescue, she has never been very dog friendly, and from time to time I considered a muzzle for those dog park occasions when she must mingle. This particular muzzle meets the criteria that I set: it is open to allow drinking and panting (dogs don't sweat, so they pant to reduce excess heat), it fits snug and firm but not too tight, well constructed straps, fastens easily. My 16 month old 110 lb. German Shepherd has destroyed countless things in and around my house. Even when put in a room with nothing in it, he saw fit to start chewing walls. Beefeaters Little Bitz Small Round Chips with Chicken On Top

I picked up these when the local pet store stopped carrying the thin bone shaped Little Bitz chicken and rawhide chews. The Beefeaters Little Bitz Small Round Chips are circular wafers of rawhide backing with a hard dried meaty topping. I was reluctant about getting these because they are about 1/4 of an inch thick though they don't seem to be more than an inch in diameter, and well I wasn't sure if it would be too big for my teacup's bite. My picky pooch seems to do ok with them though sometimes the cracking sounds she makes scares her but she cant get enough of these. I prefer the similar product by Beefeaters that are thinner less chunky. These are great for smaller breeds. But be warned they give my dog terrible gas. Only recommend these if you really love your fur babies and won't mind the smell.

Just love this litter. Our Holland Lop drinks a lot of water in Hawaii, which would make the critter litter in the box turn to cement, as one reviewer noted. I put a layer of wood shavings in the litter box to soak up all the liquid and then put a thin layer of critter litter on top. We use a large corner litter box for our rabbit, so I usually add another layer of sawdust and critter litter on top the second day and clean the box on the third day. Originally we made our own litter boxes out of soda case boxes (husband drinks a lot of diet coke), and just threw the box away every few days, but got tired of making the boxes. You will need to scrub out the litter pan occasionally, but the wood shavings seem to keep the "cement" from forming. The smell is virtually nonexistent.

One thing, the bag is not rabbit proof. Our rabbit runs loose in the house and once I blocked one of the rabbit's favorite spots with a new bag of critter litter. She shredded it trying move the bag out of the way. The litter was easy to sweep up and put in the old bag.

This is perfect for my ferrets; we switched from Yesterday's News a couple of years ago. It doesn't smell when it's dirty, it isn't dusty, and my ferrets aren't tempted to play in it and fling it around (anymore!). An eight-pound bag lasts about a month (two ferrets and multiple boxes). Wish it came in bigger bags, though!

My two little harlequin rescue ratties learned to use the litter pan (a triangular shaped recycled milk carton cut down and fitting exactly into a corner, and filled with Fresh Step) in one trial, and I thought that was normal for rats, and I bragged about it. Then just for spice I got this new rattie, this pet-raised little blond, and she ruined everything--not only didn't learn, and peed and pooped everywhere she wanted to, but she got the other girls off track, too! So I got this litter. It did not change the situation at all, and it also has some undesirable attributes that ordinary clay litter like Fresh Step escapes: it dries, as other reviewers have mentioned, into a curious concrete bottom-gripper, not a scoopable clump, if any gets knocked out of the litter box the bits form ugly clay smears when you wipe across them in cleaning up, plus the other undesirable, the price. Nor did my ratties seem to prefer it over other kinds: I used several kinds, non-clumping borrowed from neighbors with cats, in trials, and varied the locations, and found no preferences among them, for ratties. I counted poop and felt quite the researcher. They did prefer one corner, but not one litter. That makes it an ordinary three stars for this 'special' litter, based on the weaknesses I listed.

For rat owners, that's not the end of the drama, of course. What did I do about the maddening loss of sanitation? I analyzed it and concluded that I had spent very much more time observing the harlequin ratties, as new pets, and 'caught' their every move, and reinforced the right ones probably more often than I realized (since I now know that rats like kind words and little pats very much, even more than a treat, when compared to dogs, and I realized they had gotten more than one trial of those kinds of rewards, and the one actual food reward, to learn to use the litter pan originally). So I began to watch the new rat especially and all of them in general, or let me say I learned to listen for the tell tale scritches when they were in the litter pan as well as watch for it more carefully, and I rewarded generously with all kinds of treats, both social and edible, and within hours Baby had begun to please, and the other girls were back on track.

So I conclude that success in litter training is in the careful observation and reward of desired behavior, not in the type of litter, and that as far as litter goes, this one ain't all that. Fresh Step, the clay type, controls smell better, is just as small for their little feet, and is of course cheaper. But it has little pieces of charcoal about the same size as rat poop, making it slightly more difficult to clean out than to throw out and start over. But since it does not smell, it can sit for a couple more days and you don't have to compulsively pick through it to make it last. I imagine there are even better kinds than Fresh Step, but for me the point has been, train, don't worry about the litter except to get the kind they don't eat.

I was using plain old kitty litter before I starting buying Critter Litter. I was such a mess it was almost not worth litter training. They would drag it around the cage and make a big mess. Now however, these stuff is perfect. It does just what I need. As for the litter becoming cement like yeah that does happen. It happens to a lot less of a degree if you add a good inch to the tray no just enough to cover the bottom. Just make sure you add enough and it is great. It's a little pricey but the amount of time and effort it saves me its worth it.

LF 3.1 Dog Treadmill

I've had the dogPacer for a few weeks now. Overall, its a great product for the price as compared to other dog land treadmills. My only complaint is that I have large, powerful working dogs (Rottweilers) and when you increase the speed to get them to a trot (above 4.5 mph), the treadmill is not as solid as I would like. It definitely bounces and moves underneath the dog. Thankfully, my dogs have no issues with motion sensitivity, but if I had a dog that did, I would want it to be much more stable. Before I bought it, I emailed the DogPACER folks themselves to inquire about this, and they said it wouldn't be a problem they have had much larger dogs on it than mine. My dogs aren't the heaviest dogs out there, but they have a lot of power in their trot.

My one other issue with the product is the metal hooks on the overhead bar, that are used to keep the side panels in place. I have had two of my dogs get their collars hooked in them when trying to manuever on/around the treadmill.

But I love the four degrees of incline, the length of the tread, the easy set up/install, the variations in speed that are available, and the price.

After, one of my young 46 lb pit bulls (ball of muscle ) snapped my wrist backward, while on a collar and leash, at the vet's and sent me to the emergency room, I started using the Gentle Leader. People are amazed when the little 5'2" lady walks thru PetSmart with the two hulking Pit Bulls now over 68 lbs. each with just a head halter on and a continuously slack leash.

It is amazing that something so simple, so tiny, so fragile looking, and so humane could affect so much change, so quickly, and so easily.

NEW MS-4 Digital Electronic Pet Collar for PX-1 and PX-2 (3 pack)

I bought one of these based on the claim that it works while wet (I'm in the Seattle area). The MS-2a definitely does not work when wet and I've been using three of the 2a's for 2.5 years. So, first thing I did when I received the version 4 was remove the battery protector tab, try it with the powerpet door, and then drop it in a glass of water (hitechpet claims it can withstand brief submersion but of course they made that claim on the 2a as well and it wasn't true). I removed it from the water and it still opened my powerpet door while dripping wet (water drops on the transducer even). So, it works while wet.

I then opened it up and found that there was in fact water inside it. So, it's still not really water proof or water resistant, but it does work while wet. They made some improvements over the 2 and 2a around the test button (both) and the transducer (compared to 2a). But there still are no rubber seals. I dried the insides with a towel and hair dryer and put it on my dog. Then I ordered another one (via ebay). I found (before putting it on the dog) that I needed to turn up the sensitivity of the door both inside and outside to have a good response.

They changed the battery by placing foil and tape over it so that both positive and negative can be contacted by springs on the same side. No problem there except the cost. Only hitechpet makes them currently (check ebay for best prices) so my ultra cheap Chinese sources for previous version batteries (via Amazon or ebay) don't have them.

Based on my testing I know that if it is really wet out, then I should still open and dry the version 4 out, but at least my dog won't be stranded in the meantime. It's not waterproof or even water resistant. I don't know why they continue to make this ridiculous claim. It is not true in the Northwest weather. In Southern California where it almost never rains this is probably not a problem unless your dog tires to swim with it. You won't want to risk leaving it wet inside for long because the copper will corrode and the battery will short out. Still, it's the best model they have and that's why I ordered a back-up.

If you have a cat then the included collar is fine. If you have a dog then you already know the included collars are throw-away. I have always used a series of 3 small electrical tie-wraps to attach the transmitter directly to my collars and that has never failed. After reading other reviews of the 2a I decided to try the Velcro method (using Velcro one-wrap, got it from Amazon). That works great and I am no longer using tie-wraps. Get the 3/4 wide one-wrap and cut a short piece to about 0.3" wide to make a little loop where the original collar was. Then use the full width to go through the small loop and around the collar. Then it is super easy to remove if you go somewhere you don't need it or if your dog goes swimming (ours does).

HiTech why are you still claiming these things can be submerged? That is false advertising.

Update Aug 4, 2012 The biggest way for water to get into these is through the test LED hole. Why is there a hole? Why not cover it with clear plastic if it's really needed? Better yet, eliminate the test button and light since they are truly pointless. If you hold it to your ear (this or any model) you can hear if it's working. Even better, just hold it up to the door and see if it opens it or not.

Having used the MS-4 for a couple weeks I've noticed that it is more work for my dog. This model seems to be much more directional than the MS-2/2a. My dog will have to come and stand by the door for a little while before it will open. Luckily she is patient. She has fairly thick hair around the neck so I'm not sure if it is the hair blocking a very directional signal, or the angle of it basically pointing at the floor as she approaches her door. It does work fine when not on her neck (testing it by hand). The MS-2/2a did not have this issue on the same dog. Not sure what to do about it yet. I'm lowering my score to 3 stars for now.

while the collar works just great with the electronic door the collars in general a terrible. they dont last. i'm always replacing them. they fall a part. i tape them closed now which helps a little. too bad they can't make a better collar for the door. BUT....still a great invention. Let's the dogs go in and out; keeps the cats in (except for 2 that wait at the door and follow the dogs out).

It is advertised that it is water resistant barely. I love the door but as stated by many, the transmitter is horrible.

I'm on my forth unit. Here's a tip to help it stay together and make it a little more water proof. Wrap around the edge a couple of times with electrical tape. It helps a lot.

We had bought the heavy duty collars from the start. The batteries corrode when the dogs get wet, despite the extra cost of being "waterproof." Our dogs in normal play often come back without the cover which pops off and gets lost in the garden. We have had to pay to replace every system in the door from the circuit board to the sensor to eventually the entire door itself. On numerous occasions the door would open and shut repeatedly, tech support told us to try loosening the screws attaching the door to the wall. While this worked it meant that we had a door that was not secure against the wall which allowed a draft to enter the house (we are in the NE United States with cold winters). Then after the door was replaced and we ordered new collars they did not work. We thought perhaps they were set at a different frequency but tech support told us no. They sent new collars but without batteries. This product is expensive enough and to make the battery proprietary makes our blood boil at this point. We currently are trying to get our door working again amazing how much money we have sunk into this in the 2 years we have had it. As an American designed and manufactured product it is embarrassing to us that the quality is so poor. We have to do better.

The door opener is great, but the company refuses to release a reliable collar that does not fail or fall to pieces in a matter of a few weeks or less. They know you have not choice but to keep replacing them. I plan to glue the next one together with super glue in hopes it will at least last until the batter wears out.

I got the leash and a collar. The reflective tape is on one side, and it is reflective but doesn't seem to be as bright/active as I'd thought it might be. It also feels a little weak... my dog is a big puller right now, since he's pretty young, so I'm hoping this holds up, but I have no proof against it's strength at the moment.

Only having the reflective tape on one side works out fine the leash _ALWAYS_ has a twist or three in it so the reflective side is visible for a full 360 degrees. Nice weight, well built.

We live in a neighborhood where almost every house has a dog or dogs. I do not have a wireless or invisible fence, but many of our neighbors do. I know that the invisible or wireless fences don't always work, because if a dog wants to chase a squirrel, cat, chipmunk or rabbit bad enough, that dog will take the shock through the barrier and once out of the wired area, the dog is out and down the block. Our one neighbor has 2 dogs with the underground wire and one dog always breaks the barrier while the other dog has never gone beyond the wire. The problem with invisible or wireless fences is that you never know if your dog will stay in the barrier or break out and keep going until you've spent the money to find out.

Our backyard is fenced for the dog and the front is not. I wanted this Havahart Wireless Fence for two reasons, to give the dog some play space in the unfenced front yard with me and to be able to go anywhere and keep the dog in a confined area. When I say to be able to go anywhere, I mean if we go camping, on picnics, visiting friends or leaving the dog with a relative. You then place the controller on an outside wall in your home. Then measure the outside space and flag the perimeterour front is 52 feet by 50 feetyou must measure in a circleso we flagged 50 feet. The collar has an antenna wire inside the neckband, which tells you how many feet your dog is from the controller, whenever you want to checkwe found this to be a very helpful added feature.

We purchased another collar, as Havahart stated that 2 collars will work inside the perimeter of one controller, and decided to see if this works on 2 dogsmy neighbor's dog and ours. We are talking about a border collie and german shepherdboth highly intelligent dogs that love to learn new things and new games. The actual shock the dog gets from this Havahart Wireless collar, we tested against our neighbor's invisible fence collar. My neighbor's husband was the guinea pig. The invisible fence collar is an actual mild electric shock that gets stronger. This Havahart collar has one tonewith 5 correction levels. He said it was more of a buzzing, then became a sort of electric buzzing, then what he would call the shock, was about 20 times milder than the invisible fence shock. Our neighbor said this was too mild to work, but I was actually happy that the shock was mild.

Now comes the training and this is where I found out if this works for both dogs. A couple times each day, my neighbor and I just introduced the flagged area to the dogs with the collars set to tone only. We taught them to recognize the flags and the collar tone mean stop. This took 5 days. We then set the collars to low static correctiona kind of buzzing pulse that tells the dogs they are outside the flagged area. In the second week, we had to teach them to ignore all the wonderful things outside the flagged area and to stay inside when the collars buzzed. When you remove the flags (If you choose towe found out some dogs need the visual and collar both) and have the dog focus on just the collar buzzing, this is where you need to spend some time with your dog, as it was a slower learning process with the border collie because she has a natural tendency to chase and round up everything that moves. The german shepherd was an easier train than the female border collie with her naturally free spirit. After 2 weeks, the german shepherd would move back with a low level buzzing type shock, but the border collie couldn't resist chasing a squirrel. We will spend more time on the border collie, but she is such a free spirit, I don't know how long it will take or if it will work at all.

As for our german shepherd, he was trained immediately and we took the controller to my brother's home, where we set it up with a 65 foot perimeter and he stayed inside that perimeter for the entire afternoon. The mildest buzzing stops him, so I found out it's all about the dog, training the dog and not about shocking the dog. This is a wonderful wireless fence and the best part is, that if your dog is easily trained, you can take the controller anywhere and contain your dog with nothing but a buzzing collar.

We have been having some trouble with our beagle, Polly. None of us knew that beagles could climb trees and fences when they wanted to see what was on the other side of the fence. But she can. And she does. So far the bailout fees have been about $500. Our real concern, though, is that on the other side of the woods behind our backyard is a county highway. The speed limit is 50 but it's a dangerous world for puppies and other small animals.

Anyway, you can let Polly out in the back yard and then in a few minutes see her running in circles in the front yard. You can actually be standing next to her, thinking you are watching her, and she will turn up on the other side of the fence. It's like the fence is invisible to her. We have repaired and re-repaired and blocked access to trees and yet the dog is smarter than the fence. She can go under or go over. Either is just like walking for her.

The Havahart Wireless 5134G2 Radial-Shape 2 Wireless Fence could not have been easier to set up. I charged the batteries the night before and was planning on spending hours figuring out complicated formulas but none of that has been necessary. The unit should be placed on an outside wall. On the setup menu, it asks you what number you want the radius to be. Then the collar needs to be fit pretty snugly so that the points are connected to the dog's skin. The included collar is already connected. I didn't bother with the flags because Polly eats everything.

The other handy part of this is it lets you know with a beep when your dog is at the perimeter. Polly was willing to be shocked for awhile on her first visit to the perimeter and she was willing to keep being shocked while she tried to chew off the collar. Fortunately, the beep called us before she went too far with it.

I was a little freaked when I initially checked the setup of the collar and it said it was 10 feet. What it was really telling me was that the collar on the dog was ten feet away from the unit. That's a pretty sweet way to locate the little monster.

Personally I was against having a dog shocked but then it turned out I was more against having a dog run out onto the highway and this is the perfect solution. No wires to bury. No eight foot tall fences to build.

And now that she knows what I am capable of, Polly appears to be a much better behaved dog. I know she's faking it but that's good enough for me.

The following is a timeline detailing our experience with the Havahart Wireless Fence:

Day One: Set up instructions and video review. The video that comes with the Fence provides a pretty good overview of how to set up the fence. We popped the batteries in and set the perimeter so our pup could walk around the front yard but not reach the sidewalk. We did have some issues with interference at the side of the house but set the flag where the beep was most consistent. We began training with the pup on lead and doing the whole "bad flag" mean voice thing. The pup pretty much ignored us.

Day Two: We popped the collar on once again. (Note: be sure to measure your dog's neck before you buy this, our whippet was on the cusp of not being able to wear the collar.) We went out three times a day and shook the flag and told our pup how bad it was. He could have cared less, but not much.

Day Three: We could not get the collar to work and figured out that we needed to change out and charge the batteries duh. No problems after that except the pup was completely apathetic to those wretched flags. The family was highly skeptical that this was going to work at all.

Days Four through Seven: We introduced the static tone to our training. The pup began to get the idea that the flags were somehow related to the tone and he would wander away from the flags when the tone sounded. Hope abounds!

Day Seven: We add the shock and I drop out of active training. (What can I say, I am a tenderhearted wimp.) I watch from the window as the first "shock" is not felt. The hubby told me that the lowest level was way too low for our pup to bother with. Okay, so they turn it up a couple of levels and bingo, the pup hears the sound, gets the jolt and bolts back into the center of the yard.

Days Seven through Fourteen: The pup totally gets that the sound is related to the shock but we really aren't sure he gets the concept of the flags. But it is time for us to see if this fence will suit our purposes. . .

The sole reason we were interested in this fence is because we take an annual trip to visit family who live in a lake community. They have a large unfenced yard on the lake and any number of dogs wander in and out. Last year we either had to have the pup chained or we had to keep an eagle eye on him in case he bolted off. He is a whippet and thus a sight hound. Sight hounds are notorious for being single minded when they see something to chase and we have been told time and again not to ever trust their recall because their prey drive is so strong. So we really need this fence to work. Well, it does! We set it up with minimal fuss. The pup's training was sufficient and he only needed a couple of incidents where he chased another dog outside the flags, heard the static, got a jolt, and bounded back in* for him to keep a sharp eye out for those wretched flags.

The only bad things I have to say about the system are: the flags themselves are ridiculously flimsy and you do get "dead zones" where objects interfere with the signal. But I have to say, overall I was extremely pleased with the fence and look forward to using it by the lake** on future visits.

*One of the best things about this system is the fact that the dog does not get shocked again when he comes back inside the safe zone.

**Please note, we only used this wireless system with the pup being under constant supervision and in a lightly trafficked area. I would never recommend it for sight hounds under any other circumstance.

I train my year old Labrador with a wireless collar by Tri Tronics and she responds well even on the low and medium settings but she goes right through this fence when it is set on the highest setting. I tested it with their "heart" tester and it was working. When I called customer support to see if I was doing something wrong they said to shave my dog's neck! Also you have to change the rechargeable batteries every day. I liked the extra range it offered so that wouldn't be too big a deal for me if it worked. But what is most upsetting is not the collar but the company.

They only have 5 star reviews on their website. That's always suspicious. I posted a generous two star review for the product and simply said that it was to weak for my dog. I asked customer support if they screened their reviews and they assured me every review gets posted. They still haven't posted my review even though I received an email confirming it would be. Three more 5 star reviews have been posted since then. The company is not honest so I wouldn't trust anything they make or promote. Don't believe the reviews on their site.

The collar worked wonderfully for the first 3 weeks then started draining the batteries faster and faster until they would only last about 5 minutes. I called Havahart and was told you can't use the collar if you have any trees, or cars, or appliances, or a garage that might get in the way. This is made for an open field only. They refused a return because it was past the 30 days (by 5 days). Havahart does not stand behind their products. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

PetSafe Premier Clicker Duo

I just bought this clicker at petsmart because I have two dogs to train. It is supposed to have two distinct sounds so that each pet gets a consistent message the instant they do something right.. Great idea.. But it just didn't work. The chimes took too long to sound (that instant between the dog doing the right thing and no longer doing the right thing passed before the sound) and the click sometimes played a chime and sometimes clicked. I tried hitting the chime button hard and the click button soft, but this had inconsistent results as well.. Wish I could get one that works ad advertised.

Rushed home from petSmart to try it out.

It came with 2 batteries...no instructions for insertion. Tiny recepticle, tried one battery..did not work. I was worried about inserting two and closing. Maybe I would not be able open it again. I ended up inserting both batteries, one on top of the other and closed the cap door. The signal light blinked on and off and clickers still did not work. I had a devil of a time getting the cap door open. In a terrible sweat, I had to jimmy it open. I guess blinking light indicates low battery?? There was a website listed on the package for further "help" but it did not have one shred of advise.

This product is way overpriced for what you have to spend in gas and time to return the crazy gizmo.

UDATE: I bought batteries today with the hope that the ones that came with the clickers were old and diminished and just needed to be replaced. No such luck. Upon inserting the new batteries and after a few seconds delay, a light started to blink just like the previous ones that came with the Clik-R Duo. It will be returned.

Another UPDATE: I guess this useless thing is still making someone a ton of money... otherwise it would have been taken off the market by now. Everybody who is duped into ordering this represents $10... Multiply that by unsuspecting patrons across the country and somebody is living high on this constant source of revenue.

I just received my Clicker Duo. I was a bit concerned because the other review mentioned a delay in the chimes sounding. I am happy to report that the clicker I received worked as promised, no delay to hear the tone for either the click or the chimes. The click is a little quiet but I am used to using a box clicker.

The instructions for inserting the batteries are non-existent and remember to turn it on before you try it out. The on/off button is fairly small on the right side next to the green button.

The lanyard has a quick connect attachment so you can wear it around your neck and then pop the clicker off of the lanyard when you want to use it. This should help keep it from getting lost.

All in all I think it will be quite handy!

These treats are great! They are the perfect bite size and consist of all different meats and cheese. They aren't messy/greasy/crumbly. Obviously the dogs love it. The only thing is that it is a little pricey for 4 oz., and considering that you would probably use them for training, it goes down pretty fast. Especially if you have a larger dog. Other than that, these treats are awesome for training!

First, I don't understand the review that gave this product one star but said it worked.

Second, I used this product for my dog who startles easily. I can't say that I saw a big difference in her behavior but that could be due to the fact that she needs something more in the way of behavior modification. That said, I still use this product for my dog and my cats on the basis that it can't hurt and it might help.

We have been having issues with two of our three dogs going in and out all night long. Both newfoundlands, one is a twelve year old female that can't see well or hear either. The other is an eight year old male with an Cushings. Both drink more than ever and waiting till morning is NOT an option when they want to go out. So I stay up till 4-5AM acting as doorman for them till my husband takes over. With the Comfort zone we are seeing more sleeping and less ins and outs and I am able to get to bed earlier.

SENSE-ation No-Pull Dog Harness - Large/Wide (Black)

I have a rambunctious 86 pound Rottweiller pup who is not at all deterred from pulling with a regular collar. This harness was recommended by a behavior specialist as the best one on the market. I can tell you my dog is a different animal with the harness on. He walks politely by my side, I only need a firm but gentle reminder to keep him from pulling and walks are pleasant. If he really decides to push it, I can simply lift his front end off the ground by grabbing the top of the harness. It is pain free for him, but an effective way to control him when excitement gets to be too much for his young mind to handle. I have only had to do it a couple of times and now he knows I can control him so he pretty much stops when I verbally warn him. The harness comes with excellent diagrams for proper fit, so there is no guessing. It does take a little trial and error because things shift as you walk, but once you get the good fit, there is no more adjusting except for puppy growth. My only problem is that, for my dog at least, if I forget and leave it on him, he eats it off. This is the third one I have purchased due to that. It is also not easy to find in my area. Our local emergency vet and the Humane Society sell them, but the vet at least does not always have all sizes in stock. I have not checked the Humane Society as it is far away. I'm thankful for ordering online.

I have been using this harness for about 2 months now and it works great. I have tried prong, choke collars, etc. Nothing works as well as this harness. My dog is almost 1 years old, she is a Great Pyrenees and weighs about 60 lbs. Yesterday was the first time in a long time that I walked her with a regular collar and she pulled and pulled, I was so frustrated. But with this harness it reduces her pulling by 80%. It doesn't eliminate the pulling completely but its a lot more bearable then a regular collar and a lot more humane.

I recently started running and this harness works great to keep her from pulling me while I'm trying to maintain a pace. I would recommend this harness to anyone that wants to stop their dog from pulling.

This product completely stopped my 65 lb Weimaraner from pulling. And while it's OK for short walks, when we took him for a 45 minute run in it, it rubbed hair and skin off of his legs. If you have a short-haired dog use with caution.
