This harness is awesome... except even the "medium" is way to big for my 55lb setter/spaniel. She is a "skinny" breed long and lean, so this is probably more for a barrel chested breed. I love the durable construction (my dog has chewed right through 3 of the regular harnesses available at pet stores). This one has a really useful handle on the dog's back and best of all, the straps are so wide that people think she is a professional dog (like a helper dog) so I can take her places that I normally wouldn't take her. I ended up taking the harness to a tailor, who shortened the straps so that it would fit better, and it seems to be working well. I appreciate the variety of places that I can hook her leash up to and the heavy duty, easy release clasp/buckles.

Such a great harness even if the XS size is a little too big on our 30 pound beagle. I just wish after paying so much it fit her like it should. The vertical strap is way too loose and the part that goes around her neck is a little loose. It still works quite well for the pulling and allows for a much nicer walk for me at least. I just have to make sure she doesn't accidentally slip out of it, but so far no problems. I usually loop the leash from the front d-ring through the ring on the pull handle to keep the leash from tangling her feet. Quality is excellent, which is why I hesitate to have someone adjust it. It would be the perfect harness if if fit properly.

Just received the harness in the mail today. I love the way it fit my 33lb Standard Poodle, but I am concerned about a few of the features. I wish it was a bit softer for the dogs comfort. The large buckle on the side digs into her when she lays and rubs when she walks. I will have to find a way to modify this to make it more comfortable before I actually use it. Also, the metal ring on the handle just flops around. I will also find a way to velcro this down if it is not needed. I would have expected a little higher comfort level for the price. Having said all that I DO like the design and the ring on the front. It seems to be very well made and looks great on. It just needed a little bit more work to make it the 'perfect' harness.

Harness is great! However, I was notified that I would be receiving the harness on Feb 21st, only to find that it did not ship until the 23rd and arrived in March. I did not rec've a notification of any kind saying that the shipment was delayed. I was pretty disappointed with the three week wait! Probably won't purchase anything from this vendor again.

I bought this same harness from another supplier. The chest strap tore at a stress point during the fourth use. I was shocked. I thought this harness looked well made when I received it but it did not hold up and tore while the dog was on leash.

I bought this collar hoping it would serve as a smaller replacement for my dog's citronella bark collar as my dogs are small and I wanted a device that was smaller. First, the collar strap does not have a snap buckle. You have to feed it through the clasp every time to take the collar on or off. Second there is only a "high and low" setting, not the 3 settings as described, and having the switch on high or low didn't seem to make a difference as to how loud the beep or strong the vibration was, and the vibration is quite strong. It terrified my dog. Most importantly, the collar was too sensitive, and my dog got buzzed just for shaking his head and for jumping down from the sofa. I am sending it back.

This product surprised the dogs at first and stopped them from barking for a day or two but then they got used to it and even with the settings turned to the highest they still just bark right over it. We tried both the vibration and the noise setting (there is not a setting for both vibration and sound like I thought there was) and neither one deters them. This also set off with any sudden movement such as shaking their head or running or such which is what I think made it not effective because it just sets off all the time and the dog doesnt know its because of the barking.

I can't say that this will work with all dogs, but my little inherited YAPPER (lapso apso) would not shut up. I didn't think I could take it much more until we bought this collar. It worked great on vibrate mode, and we felt good knowing that the dog wont be shocked. However, two weeks later she started up again. I wondered which one of my kids took the collar off, but realized the batteries were dead. The collar uses LR44 watch batteries. I found them on Amazon (100 for around ). If the collar works for your dog, make sure you buy the batteries before the two weeks are up.

Ethical Contempo Tessa Food and Treat Dispenser for Dogs

My 10 yr old Golden had grown bored with her toys. I discovered this treat dispenser and she now has a new favorite toy. She chases it around the house as it wobbles like those old Weebles Wobble toys of years ago. She quickly learned if she batted and nosed it around enough to get it going, small treats would come shooting out. You get to decide just how difficult or easy you want the treats to emerge. When this one wears out, we're definitely getting another one.

We have a Lakeland terrier and an Affenpinscher both love this toy and play with it in different ways. The terrier bats it around until the treats come out, the Affenpinscher tries to bite it and pick it up.

Well, the Affenpinscher managed to fit her lower jaw through one of the side dispensing holes and could not get out. Lots of screaming and blood I'm afraid before we managed to cut it off her.

So if your dog has a small lower jaw, please be careful no way the Lakeland's jaw could ever fit through that small hole, but the Affenpinscher was small enough.

Apparently, for a brief time anyway, PetSmart carried these toys. (Contempo.) I came across them late though, and bought the pink model at about half the price it is here on Amazon. Only because PetSmart had already sent it to the clearance bin! I can't imagine why!

I bought this toy as a birthday present for our Lab mix who loves puzzles and a little challenge. I put some of her Blue Buffalo dry food in here and set the slot just barely big enough. She has a great time with it.

Now, for a con... Due to it's design, when it's empty she can (and will) chew on the plastic top. So this is not a toy I leave out for her. We do love it though!

This product does not hold a lot of dog food not even a cup. And the holes are too big. My puppy was able to get all the food out of there within a couple of minutes. I did adjust the setting to restrict the flow of food from bottom to top. I will try to reduce the size of the holes but for the price I should not have to spend time and effort to make this a usable dispenser. Save your money or buy the tug-a-jug or bob-a-lot.

Update 12/27/2012 I used duct tape to close one hole and reduce the size of another so now it takes my puppy a little longer to get the food out.

I am sending this back. The awful thing went off when another dog 15 feet away barked. It went off when I was SCOOPING UP DRY KIBBLE FROM A BIN!!! I want my dog to quit yapping, I do NOT want my dog to be a torture victim.

I hated to put one on my dog but I finally broke down and did it. It works good. It took about 2-3 days before he realize what was going on.

My dog was able to get the battery cover off but I took care of that by putting a little piece of duct tape over the battery cover. The battery that came with the unit does not last long at all, so I just went to the local walgreens and purchase a new battery and all is well.

Overall I pretty happy with it.

This was advertised for dogs 5 pounds and up. Mine is 11 pounds, and we couldn't get the collar small enough to fit properly. She shook her head, it wiggled around, beeped and then zapped her so strongly that I was in tears. She cowered the rest of the day, and was just not herself. Sad that she hadn't even barked with it on. Returning it and would never use a shock collar on a pet again.

I just started using this on my 45 pound barking dog and it does seem to have a problem distinguishing between my dog's bark and outside sound. Just putting the collar down causes the warning sound to alert as does any conversation spoken at a medium level. I put this on my dog and it triggered so much without any barking on his part that it left him with his tail between his legs and a sad expression on his face. I have used bark collars before, and chose this one because he barks less with a warning beep, but this one is either too sensitive to sound or defective. I will be keeping it off my dog until I can either get a replacement or find another product.

We have found that when our dog steps off of the grass portion of the unit, the grass slips off the base . This is a major distraction for our dog, and us as well. The company needs to address this PROBLEM immediately, or the wrod will get around and the Pet Loo will not sell.

I've had two siberian huskies for many years, and have used the gentle leader ever since they were pups and went to obedience class. At the recommendation of the Humane Society, which was giving the class, have used them. Also, they so believed in the gentle leader, they would not let any dogs in the class without one. So, have been using them ever since, 11 years. Do like the 5/8" nylon sizing, better than the thinner version. Definately would recommend them.

I have 7 dogs. Some prefer to stare me down when they have to go out, some just cry. My English bulldog loves to ring these bells. She rams into them and creates a loud noise, but at least I know that she has to go out.
