I bought this for a new puppy. The potty is well made for the most part. I was a bit disappointed in the grass. It is soft but its losing grass fibers with each washing. I wash it by hand not in the machine. Another thing is using the "urine" spray, DON'T. I did and the smell got into the rubber backing and it took me forever to get it out. And it STINKS big time. I ended up soaking it for three days and then airing it outside for two. FINALLY the dang smell disappeared. The replacement grass is rather expensive. My pup loves it and will use it MOST of the time. It just takes patience and training.Purchased at Amazon with great delivery and price.

This box has exceded my expectations. We have a tiny 1 1/2 lb puppy and I was concerned about being able to walk her as often as she needed. I was also worried about her refusing to go outside after getting to used to going inside.

I looked at all the options out there (from pee pee pads to diapers to litter to other "grass" potties) and read all the reviews before deciding on this one. Here's why:

-It has raised sides so the dog doesn't miss the "grass" and get it on the floor

-The urine passes through so the dog is not tracking it around the house

-No litter to buy or dispose of (although you could put it or pads or newspaper underneath the "grass" if you wanted more absorbtion)

-Easy and quick to empty and clean (the raised sides also help it not to spill if you dont use anything underneath the "grass")

-It is light and easy to relocate, but sturdy enough that it doesn't slide around

-The entrance point is low so the dog can just walk in without having to jump

-The "grass" is realistic so we have had no problems with her going outside (also it's easy to clean)

-The construction is solid

-The customer service that comes with it seems amazing. Although I have had no problems so far, it came with scent to spray on the grass to attract the dog, instructions, hints, a website and contact info for further advice, should you need it. All of which had me stunned. I haven't had a reason to contact them, but it's nice to know that the level of support is there. Also it arrived much sooner than expected.

Overall I am very pleased. The puppy has had no accidents in the little area where we keep her with a bed, food and the box when we are out. It has been a pleasure to buy something that works as it should.

Before buying our Japanese Chin puppy, we researched this product knowing that a cold Ohio winter was going to make it really hard to housebreak her. It arrived quickly and well packed. As soon as we inspected it, we could see that it was well-crafted and made to last. It took only two weeks to get Lena to use her Little Squirt exclusively. We used the urine spray for the first week and didn't find the smell overpowering at all. When we called customer support, we spoke with the owner of the company (what a rarity these days!) and at her expense as she called us back so we wouldn't have to pay for a long distance call. She is friendly and knowledgeable about her product which makes a big difference when you're new at puppy training! She recommended washing the grass in an old pillowcase with bleach and baking soda and it worked great at removing the urine odor. We have washed it three times in as many weeks and there was very minimal loss of the grass. We also figured out that if we keep a box of baking soda nearby and sprinkle after a tinkle, there is no odor noticeable at all. As for cleaning, we just throw it in the bathtub with water and bleach and disinfect for 10 minutes while the grass is in the washing machine. So if you're an apartment dweller or a disabled person who has put off getting a new best friend, you need wait no more. This product makes it easy to keep a small dog indoors. We hope many people who always thought they could not have the companionship of an animal will be able to to get one and never have to be lonely again.

I love this product and get them directly from Softclaws. My 55 lb boxer mix is very active and wears through his before his nails grow out. If you have a similarly active dog the nail caps wont last 4 to 6 weeksI start replacing caps on his front feet within a week (he's a digger). But is it worth the extra expense to save our vintage hardwood. I suggest going with any color but clearthe clear caps seem to be made of a less flexible material or thickness, and they slip right off my dog's claws.

We have hard wood floors and these work great on our dog. They don't run too big, I have a 45 pound boxer whos nails aren't that big so I recommend going up a size. I do trim them before I put them on her as it helps her nails slip into them. They do take longer to get through Amazon.

Easy to put on my golden retriever because he is so calm, but could be a challenge for a squirmy dog. They fit well and stay glued on. One popped off after a week, but may have been my error because the rest are still fine. They seem to be helping with scratches on my brand new hard woods and they don't bother him at all, so it's a win win.

I had no idea these were so overpriced until I checked them out on the company's website. I thought they would still be OK since I had already bought them for my little shihtzu, but when I opened the bag, they smelled really weird to me. On a scale of 1 to 5, this product is definitely a 12! I've been using it for years, during which time it has changed its name at least twice. It is awesome but you do have to POUR the liquid onto the stain. Totally soak the stain with undiluted Kids'N'Pets, then rub gently. It removes diarhea (sick dog) from carpet in a few seconds, both stain and smell. Even removed permanent black hair dye that had been on the carpet for at least a week.

Easy Walk Harness - Large, Fawn-Brown

After trying multiple harnesses with my high energy pulling 90 lb. chocolate Labrador retriever, including beep and buzz collars (this do not work) and other not so appealing solutions, this one did the trick. I can now walk my lab nicely even in the snowy streets of my neighborhood without fear of being pulled and falling! He now behaves like a perfect dog and understands the meaning of walking. I can only say this was my lifesaver and I am hugely thankful to my best friend's mom who recommended it. She also has 3 big labs who behave like champs and my friend has Viszla mix that is also behaving great with this harness. Highly recommend it if you have a high energy dog (or any dog for that matter). Great product, very though fabric and excellent design that makes it easy to put on or take out with two clip buckles. Also, the variety of colors make it easy to pair with any leach or collar.

This harness works great to better control a large and stubborn lab puppy (10 months old and 75 lbs). The only problem is that you have to constantly untangle him as he switches from side to side ....perhaps he will learn to stay on one side during walks at some point, but for now, you have to constantly fix it as the 'hitch' is on the front of it under his chest (not on top as others are). It is definitely a good product, but has one slight drawback (which is probably correctable).

My dog's trainer suggested this harness.The harness is made of good quality nylon, well built with the martingale link on the front. Product itself is well made. This is a harness that is designed to get your dog to pull less, by putting pressure on the chest. My problem is that the leash clip is in the front (as pictured) -this is a strange spot to put the leash in my opinion. Me and my dog had a jumbly mess trying to walk / jog. Had to keep readjusting which direction the leash needed to be pulled in. Might work great for your dog, though!

Loving Pets Pure Buffalo 14 to 16-Inch Meaty Femur Bone Dog Treat

I have a giant-breed dog who likes to chew and I thought, after reading other reviews, that this large chew would last her a good while. She certainly loved it. Even as big as she is, she had a hard time carrying it around, but it lasted no time. Within less than an hour she's disintegrated an entire head off one end of the femur and was sawing down on the rest of the bone.

Which is fine, I guess. Happy as can be.. but I've had much smaller bones last longer. And bought a whole box of hooves and had ONE last well over a week (the smell was even worse than these bones, though).

So, anyway. Yes, it's a hit.. but the duration is obviously going to depend on the size and determination of your dog (mine's a "soft mouth gripper" herding breed, btw.. not some wolf hound that likes to tear things to pieces for kicks and giggles..)

As for basic facts on the product itself (for those not familiar w/ chew bonesI wasn't until recently): They're greasy-feeling to the touch (you always have to wash your hands after touching them/getting them out of the wrapper for the dog); they smell pretty bad (fantastic to the dog, though); they've been smoked or something so there are baked-on flecks that are going to flake off all over your floors like crispy bits.. the dog will eat most of them, but you'll be sweeping/vacuuming behind him/her for quite some time and once the bone is finally broken down to bits, there will be shards (most often) and small round tiny bits that can be stepped on or hazards for small children (just be aware if you have them) and your vacuum that will have to be picked up by hand before vacuuming. Best for an outside treat (unless you have roaming neighborhood dogs that will steal them like I do.. she has to keep them inside and I just have to clean them up.. and a lot of the reasoning behind getting these things is to keep them from chewing inappropriate things IN the house). So they have their pro's (they WORK, they attract the dog's chewing attention very well) and cons (a freaking smelly mess).. I find it worth it but will find a different product (probably go back to hooves).

The dog loves the bone and won't put it down. The only downside is that it smells really bad. I have yet to see the bone splinter and she has been chewing on it for two weeks.

I bought this because I thought it would be a smart investment for our new family member since potty training takes time with puppies.

To be honest with you it works great I have no idea how it absorbs the urine so fast and it dries so your pups paws don't become nasty but as nice as all those features are at the end of the day you need to wash it and that is pretty gross when you think of it..

You have to wash that in the same washing machine you wash your clothes, undies, socks, kids stuff, whatever! I know you can Clorox your washer, run it on high every time your done but I think its just not worth all of that just for the "practicality" of this pad.

Product has a distinct (garlic-type) odor, that is supposedly designed to ward off cats. We've had a feral cat problem for a few months, and applied the product. Within 2 days the cats could absolutely care less, and were all over our the place. It basically did nothing for us.

We purchased this collar for our stubbornly mouthy pug. Most collars are big, and this one is no exception, but this wasn't our problem. We were very impressed with the userfriendly nature of this collar without exterior buttons to push (the magnet part to turn it on and off is on the collar itsself). It has a wide range of levels to (8 to be exact). For whatever reason, however, it just didn't seem to help our dog. It would be nice if this one had a tone to warn. But it also just didn't seem to work for him. Could have been that the piece that carried the punch wasn't holding to the correct part of his neck. We gave it to someone with a big dog, and I bet it will be perfect for them. So our guess is it's still a great collar, just not for our little dog.

I got these for my yorkies, both 5 lbs. This was the only No Bark system I could find small enough for them. It adjusted well to fit them (I cut off all the extra nylon). However, it just didn't work. I started out on the lowest setting and worked up and up to the highest, but they never even felt it. We added the longer attachments thinking that maybe it wasn't touching their necks well enough. Still no luck. Tightened it till they could barely stand it. Still didn't work. They are trimmed in a puppy hair cut, so their hair is not longer than a regular dog. Not sure what the problem was. I tried it on myself and it zapped me lightly, but just didn't work on my dogs.
