luv luv luv my new bungee leash. my dog's not a "pupee" per se, but she does have a tendency to want to mush across the tundra. she's only 47 pounds tho, and i wonder if i'd want to use it for a much larger dog who might pull more. But for her it works great. quality design. it's beach-friendly including the clasp (the spring type doesn't like to open once sand gets in). the length is also nice for when I tie her up. plus, the pink n black is sharp it perfectly represents the sassy grrl she is. hope it lasts a real long time! thanks!

My 14 year old dog can't always make it outside in time so this product saves my tile floor. I have three so I always have a clean one available to put down for my sweet dog.

I bought this because I thought it would be a smart investment for our new family member since potty training takes time with puppies.

To be honest with you it works great I have no idea how it absorbs the urine so fast and it dries so your pups paws don't become nasty but as nice as all those features are at the end of the day you need to wash it and that is pretty gross when you think of it..

You have to wash that in the same washing machine you wash your clothes, undies, socks, kids stuff, whatever! I know you can Clorox your washer, run it on high every time your done but I think its just not worth all of that just for the "practicality" of this pad.

I ended up taking it to the laundry mat and when I brought it home I started using it for the humidifier in my bedroom and for that alone this pad is worth every penny!

This worked well for almost 2 months but now it will not work at all. The collar units will not charge leaving this product absolutely useless.

I've had this for a few months. Got it for my 1 year old boxer who has an issue with jumping on people. So far I've only used the vibrate button on him, never had to use the shock yet. It's just enough to distract him and stop him from the bad behavior. I don't have to use it often and i've noticed the battery stays charged a really good amount of time. I believe it's been a good week or 2 since the last time i charged it. It also helps to get him to come back inside after he uses the bathroom and he's in his sniff around mood. I only needed one collar but this was a good value and at least i'll have a backup in case one wears out. Also seems to have pretty fast responoce time, i don't notice a delay between hitting the button and it activating.

The value of this shock collar system is untold, as it has saved countless trips to the vet, hours of looking for a lost pet who "bolts" when the door is opened and countless bouts of curiosity which could have ended badly had I not been able to "shock" the puppy back to me.

I am amazed at the range, my puppy can be bounding up the far hill of a cow field not responding to my calls, at least 100 yards away and you can see her turn around and head for home as soon as I hit the remote. I am so grateful for this product.

I have been successful for over 20 years training all our dogs without such means as a shock collar but this quite different puppy is "the puppy from Hell" and was in the vet with life threatening injuries 3x's before this shock collar. I can say it has saved her life and is showing her what is and is NOT acceptable behavior.

Very cheaply made... sometimes worked and sometimes didn't... they just ended up in my junk drawer... not a good product if you want consistent training

To clarify it is made of nylon rope like rock climbing rope which does have some stretch to it but is definitely not a bungy cord. My dog is reactive and when she lunges at other dogs, I still do feel I have control and I know that she is not being chocked by her collar because of the design.

I don't think any "tool" (prong collar, choke chain, head halter, "nonhalters", Martingale collars) actually prevents pulling. Teaching a dog loose leash walking is a training issue but, it does it take time. Sometimes, many months.

The reason I like this tool is because it does not harm the dog's esophagus. I work with dogs at a shelter and teaching loose leash walking is difficult (to say the least) but even with my strongest dogs, they may pull but they are not being hurt in the slightest so I think it is an effective tool!

I wonder if there is a reason it only comes in one size...which is the reason I gave it 4 stars. A medium size might be beneficial. Small probably not so much.

So I purchased this on a whim, just to try it out. It is an interesting idea, but not for me. I will note that I hate all dog products that are made of a bungy material as they don't allow for control.

Pros:

Doesn't seem to bother my dog like a head halter

Doesn't choke him

Cons:

Bungy material

I'm not sure it would actually provide control even if it was a non-bungy material.
