My dogs love the PureBites treats, and it's nice that Amazon offers them at a better price then other online stores. I like having the option to buy the turkey variety, because it's a nice change from all the chicken and beef treats out there.

These pads are an EXCELLENT bargain and serve the purpose well.

I have heard other reviews that express disappointment with them, as they are not as thick and absorbant as "real" doggie wee-wee pads. That is true that they are not as thick, although I DO find them very absorbant. I find that they are ideal for the occassional accident by a stay-at-home dog, or for puppy training. No, you wouldn't want a large dog emptying his bladder on one of these, but no wee-wee pad will stand up to an excess of moisture! These pads serve my purposes perfectly--a small amount of pee here and there while I am at work.

I highlyy recommend them for their value and quality.

Edit: Something happened to the way these are made. I want to rerate the item to 2 Stars. These used to be sealed on all sides so that the pee was kept inside. Now, only the long sides are folded over, sealed, but the width is not. Therefor, if your dog pees near the sides, the pee will leak over.

My first few boxes were not like this and now its messy. I will give them one more chance after I run out of my current supply.

These puppy pads suck. There are empty spots in each pad with no absorbent material. They leak through easily. Definitely not worth the money.

My Persian cat Piggy is ~15 years old, and his trips to the litter box are "hit or miss." These puppy pads are great because although they are thinner and have a smaller surface area than some of the more expensive brands, there are 300 in a pack at a good price. They don't leak through, and no matter what thickness or surface area size, I would want to change them out every time he "missed" anyway, so in my opinion, quantity is more important than quality. That being said, they work fine for our needs, and I will definitely buy more when I run out.

I gave five stars because of the huge difference in price between these and other pads. Yes they are a little smaller and a little less absorbent. However, both my 20 pound Peke and I are neat freaks and clean up immediately before the moisture has a chance to leak out. One of my tricks if I'm going to be gone for a while is to put one pad upside down (to prevent an edge accident from leaking all over the floor), and put two pads side by side on top with the edges turned under a bit to catch any overflow or edge leakage. Even using up to 3 pads at a time for such times, these are still far cheaper.

Note to the folks who complain of the size (17 x 24): I've trained German Shepherds to eliminate in a space that small. Really, a well trained dog should have no problem hitting a two foot wide, one and a half foot long target.

I just got this device today and so far it works. I have a very irresponsible and inconsiderate neighbor who did nothing about her young barking dog. I complained to the Homeowners' Association and to Animal Control but both are processes that were not going to get me a good night's sleep for a long time. Soundproof windows were just too costly an option. So, I purchased this device in hopes that it might provide some relief. I put it up and it seemed to work immediately. Watching the dog's reaction gave me mixed feelings of 1) happiness that the device actually worked and could bring some relief; 2) guilt that it seemed to cause the dog extreme discomfort; and 3) anger at the owner for letting the situation get to this point. I think after the first few days of round the clock training, I'll only be turning the device on at night when I really need the peace and quiet. Hopefully, I can train this OTHER PERSON'S DOG to just pipe down at night. The device definitely works but is not for the faint of heart. You will have to choose between the annoying barking and the pathetic whimpering.

I've been listening to my own dogs bark for years and just can't take it anymore. When I saw this product on tv I couldn't believe I was yet again falling for another "as seen on tv" product, the price was right I had nothing to lose. My 1 dog hasn't barked since turning this device on and the other just a little. Most of these reviews are based on trying to stop outside dogs from barking not your own in your home not sure if that makes a difference but I have to say despite the others I'm happy with the results :)

I bought 2 as gifts for family. Neither worked on big or small dogs. I then bought the dog bark reducer is the one that looks like a birdhouse. Worked great. I bought 2 more for family. It struggles to contain the the little yapper dogs but eventually works.

So my dog likes to protect my room and bark...even with a wagging tail. I bought this to keep him quiet when friends came to visit. When I turned it on and he barked it definitely worked. He put his head down and went under the bed. Although I felt bad it felt so good to carry on a conversation with out trying to shush him.

Now here's the problem. I don't know when its going off. I wish there was a light that went off when it was emitting the sound. My roommate has 2 dogs who bark as well and I don't know when their barking is punishing my my dog. Or if the batteries are still working.

I think people need to realize that dogs ears are different among themselves. My parents have a dog that acts weird when a cell battery gets low and is beeping... while the others don't seem to be phased.

I found this DVD extremely helpful because I have always had LARGE, mixed breed dogs in my past. This little guy really threw me for a loop at first and this really did put to rest some of my anxieties. It covers the basics in an understandable and informative way.

PetSafe Dummy ScatMat Dog Training Mat, Large

ScatMat products work. We've got a Mini-pin and a Pug who avoid our dummy mats like the plague. It will only take your dog one experience with a powered ScatMat to get the message. Any dog will avoid the mat even when the battery dies, so dummy mats are a good and less expensive way to ban pets from other areas in your living space.

First of all, the photograph in the product description does not match the actual product at all. This dummy mat does not have a plastic control box or any visible "features" of the real ScatMat whatsoever. It's simply a piece of clear plastic you could buy for $2 at Home Depot. In fact, it's so clear you can't even see it when placed on a surface; my dogs jumped up on it immediately (and they always avoid the real ScatMat when it's on the same couch). Very misleading description and completely useless product.

Update: Be sure to check the dates of the positive reviews versus the dates of the negative reviews. I believe this product was different a few years ago.

We had a regular shocking ScatMat that was working wonders on our two young cats, but we had to keep moving it from one location to another. I was skeptical at first about the Dummy mat, but ordered two anyway to try out. The cats are just as careful around the fake mat as they are with the real thing.

Plus, as the cats learn where they are not allowed to go, the Dummy mats don't have any wires so they could potentially be cut to size for smaller table tops or counters for semi-permanent installation. I have not done this yet, but might eventually.

This did not work for our cat he just was able to step on it between the electrode lines or just jump over it.nso we never used this dummy mat.

These worked like a charm after the dog had experience with an activated scat mat. We bought these to "block off" additional parts of the house. It is extremely rare for her to cross the boundary. We planned to switch one with the activated one if she did cross it but she hasn't even done it enough times to do that. This does not have the lines that the real one does. Seems like they could have at least drawn fake "wires" running through it, but she didn't seem to notice. By the way, I have tried just plain thick plastic from the fabric store before and it was not as effective. I guess this looks more like the real shock mat.

Cesar Millan Small Black Illusion Collar

We have a 3 year old rescue Staffy. We've had her for 2 years and walking was always day to day. We tried them all. She pulls like a horse on any kind of harness, chokes herself on chain collars, and lies down to avoid the gentle face leader. The face leash was working the best, but she was getting raw on the bridge of the nose, and it wasn't controlling her around other dogs, although it did stop her from eating junk off the street. With this illusion collar she doesn't pull, doesn't eat off the ground, doesn't even lunge at other dogs. It's a drastic welcome change. Hopefully it lasts, it's only been a few weeks. She is 60 lbs and we got a size medium, well fitted.

Has the best control of any collar I've tried. This one beats the kind that goes around the chest and the ones that go around the dog's snout. My dog still gets a little jumpy with it on, but is way more under control than with other collars. I have a rescue dog with some social issues and walking him around any other dogs or people was a struggle. I also have a bad shoulder, which would be sore after his lunging and jumping episodes during our walks. This collar has really brought him under control. I think with more training, he will become even easier to walk using the Illusion collar.

I did not buy this collar for my dog because he had pulling issues, though after using the collar I could see that he did pull more than I liked. He was inattentive on our walks and would always be "cruising" for his next mark. He would whine at other dogs, cats, squirrels.... you get the idea. This collar gave me a lot of control, so that I was able to correct him as soon as he started getting his mind amped up. The lease stays right at the back of his head and gives you all the control you need. I thought it would be too beefy for my dog, but it fits him nicely and we now enjoy our walks. Highly recommended.

I've tried all kinds of collar & harness on our staffy half-check chains, non-pull harness etc. They all allowed her too much control, and she was still making walks unhappy with her constant pulling, lunging and snapping at other dogs. I finally managed to get one on UK eBay.

This collar looks uncomfortable, a bit like a corset for the neck, but it's fine. It sits in exactly the right part of her neck, to control the head. I am now using LESS force, so it's kinder for her too. With this collar, I can hold her lead in 2 fingers, just like Cesar does! To correct her I need to give just a tiny twitch of the lead (sideways or up, not back). It gives you THAT much control.

She instantly goes calm with her Illusion collar on and now she knows that I'm in control of HER, not the other way round, walks are so much more pleasant for both of us. I wish it wasn't so expensive, but it's still been worth every penny.

Premier Gentle Leader Training Treats

I started to use a Gentle Leader head collar. As a Border Collie, she had a very strong urge to pull, protect and herd. This was very problematic since I live in a rural area with numerous dogs, people, trucks and DEER! I found myself pulled and yanked mercilessly. Neck collars and body harnesses did not work to control her. Obedience classes helped but not enough. So I tried the Gentle Leader Head Collar. My dog did not like it. She ran away as soon as she saw me get the collar. I purchased the treats and asked her to come to me and sit. I placed the treat in my palm and put the head lead on her head. She didn't struggle or run. When we walk and a pulling or barking situation arises, I give her a Gentle Leader training treat. She quiets down and we walk in peace with animal world. While she still resents the head collar, she tolerates it better. Did I mention she also became much more interested in agility training when I used these treats! I highly recommend GENTLE LEADER TREATS and the GENTLE LEADER HEADCOLLAR.

Premier Citronella Refill for Anti Bark Collar, 3-ounces

I use this collar on 2 beagles. You must keep filled. One of my beagles learned quiclky that she could bark until the spray ran out-she was conditioned that she could bark and get sprayed for about 25 sprays and then be free of the annoyance. It worked great until she learned this-my fault as I should have brought her in to check the fill status. Only downside is that there is no way of knowing how full the unit is. I just follow directions and use can for 20 seconds. I have used shock collars also but consider this to be the best. Battery lasts a decent amount of time and unit has a shutoff to conserve battery life. Refils can be expensive if purchased at specialty store (Petsmart/petco).

Firstly, we have found Premier brand's new Citronella battery-operated Anti-Bark Collars with on/off switch for Dogs to be quite efficient a majority of the time, in that Dogs seem to bark more selectively. So, we still have a watch pooch but not a yapping pooch! And, the Citronella Spray Refills are easy to use in refilling the spraying mechanism container on the collar. Do check battery often. Do check collar often to maintain appropriate tightness/looseness so collar does not fall off. Do refill collar at least daily or more often to maintain consistent spraying of Dog when barking to reinforce selective barking habits. I love the collar and I love the spray that comes in the blue bottle the ones that come in the yellow bottle/sprayer didn't work out. The spray wouldn't actually go into the collar for some reason it just spritzed all over my hand when I would try to spray it into the collar. Not clear on what the issue was but it happened with the last three that I had.

The fit is a little bit off but we're talking about a bulldog here. Their faces and heads were not made to really work with muzzles. The fact that this one has the strap that goes up over the head makes all the difference.

We have a large, beautiful black and tan GSD. He is warm, loyal, loves all kids, protective (of course) and very very strong. We are training him in a different way.

He gets excited when he goes out walking or playing in the park. We really needed something that would HOLD him back when necessary, gently train but not CHOKE. This fits the bill. He didn't understand it at first but immediately he got it. It is easy to make comfortable and it seems to fit as well as some of the $100 or more harnesses. This will likely last a few years, maybe not a decade but it is of pretty good quality. It makes our family outings with one of our pets more enjoyable and even helped him tone down his excitement WHEN THE HARNESS IS NOT ON. I was worried it would be too small but any regular large dog (Danes, Rots, Mastiffs, GSD's, Labs, etc) should be okay. Not sure a Tibetan Mastiff or St. Bernard or BARKLEY (from Sesame Street) would fit, though....good luck.
