PetSafe Deluxe Little-Dog Bark Control Collar, PBC00-10782

PetSafe Deluxe Little-Dog Bark Control Collar, PBC00-10782We have tried this collar and the Tri tronics bark collar for small dogs, and the Petsafe collar is smaller and seems to be more comfortable on our 3 small dogs. The other thing we like about the Petsafe collar is that it is self-adjusting, so if your dog barks once and the first mild shock doesn't correct the barking, it automatically increases the intensity of the shock. The intensity of the Tri tronics collar needs to be manually adjusted by you. Both are good products, but the Petsafe collar works better for us and our mini dachshunds & Papillion.

I have a boxer puppy and I am crate training her. Within a few weeks of use this device has taught her not to bark when she goes into her kennel while I'm at work. I bought this tool initially because I was concerned that her persistant barking would break the sanity for myself and the neighbors. It's a great tool when used correctly and consistently.

--updated ---

Yes, the fact that you have to buy a "special" battery for the device is ridiculous, but you can't deny that it stops the yapping. Make sure you place the device on your little yip-yip snug enough and in the right place as detailed in the directions. Also, be persistent with usage or the dog wont learn to be quiet. Initially, batteries lasted only about 2-3 weeks, but now I go over 3 months on one battery, if I even need to use the collar at all.

Great for helping the dog settle down when kennel training.

The advantage of some of the Innotek products is that some don't require any special battery, but be careful, some do require plugging in to a special charger station (batteries not replaceable in some units).

Purchased this collar for our bichon-poo, he is a little yippy at times. Collar worked fine for about a week, then he started barking again, replaced the battery that cost $10.00, I figured we had a defective battery. Same thing, worked for a week and then the barking started again. Not sure what the problem is, but it seems like the battery only lasts a short time, the dog is not barking when the collar is working so he is not what is causing the battery to run down. Will be returning collar to place of purchase (not amazon) and will buy a different brand, such as Innotek. E-mailed Petsafe without any response.

In May 2009 I purchased this bark control collar for my little dog with a big bark. She's 5lbs and none of the other bark collars would work for her weight, so I opted for a trusted brand and collar that fit the exact description of my dog and her issues. (ie. Little dog, big bark.)

I was so excited to have finally made a decision (I thoroughly research before buying items such as this) and waited impatiently for it to arrive. I purchased this collar online from a third party, and it came shortly after purchase. I thought it was EXACTLY what we needed.

Although the idea is perfect for a little dog, sadly, the shape and firmness of the collar prevented it from connecting in the ideal spot for correction (ie. shock). No matter how tight or loose I made the collar, it simply would not stay in the correct place. Instead, it continuously turned to the side of her neck where it did not work as intended. I kept trying to fix it and put it back where it was meant to be, but it would not stay.

I ended up frustrated that this collar would not work as it was advertised. Therefore, on May 8th, 2009, I contacted PetSafe to explain my discouragement for their product. Unfortunately, I was unable to find my original receipt (although I did still have the package), thus, PetSafe would not stand behind their product and accept an exchange for a collar that 'might' work better.

My husband and I live on quite a tight budget and I was unable to purchase a new bark collar for my little dog. I had already bought a collar from a trusted manufacturer that was made especially for the little dog (which it says on the packaging). I didn't want to sell the collar to some other unsuspecting dog owner, it did not work as it was intended. I would NOT put someone else through the discouragement that I went through after purchasing this collar. So I kept it, on my counter, in the package, for months.

My little dog still had the bark issue, I had a collar that didn't work as it was advertised to, and I was out too many dollars and unable to purchase a new bark collar. Out of desperation, I decided, 'Well, if they won't return it, and PetSafe won't stand behind their faulty product, what else can I do?'

Looking at the collar I noticed that there was a tiny space between the plastic of the collar and the 'correction device'. I purchased a new plain dog collar, cut it to length, cut off the hard plastic strap of the PetSafe bark collar, and shoved the new nylon collar into the space between the plastic collar and the 'correction device'. I sewed that side of the new collar onto the 'correction device' then proceeded to do the same to the other side. To hold it onto my little dog's neck I sewed on two snaps then it was done. It may not look as pretty as it could, but it fit perfectly and the 'correction device' was in the right spot to correct the barking problem.

Today, February 2nd, 2010, for the first time since I purchased this collar, it shocked my little dog and I'm on my way to correcting the little dog with the big barking issue.

Want PetSafe Deluxe Little-Dog Bark Control Collar, PBC00-10782 Discount?

I bought this collar for my small dog, she's only 6 lbs, the collar is so unflexible because its all plastic the anti bark prongs end up on the back of her neck everytime she shakes her head. I cant make it any tighter or she would for sure stop barking, as well as breathing...so I'm out 70 bucks and I still have a non stop barking dog.

Dean & Tyler DT Works Harness with Do Not Pet Service Dog Velcro Patches, Reflective Trim

DT Works Harness, Do Not Pet Service Dog, Black/White, Small - Fits Girth Size: 25-Inch to 34-InchThis product is constructed very well, it is sturdy and high quality. It looks very professional, legitimate and the text is very bold and easy to read. However, the sizing is difficult to understand without having your dog with it to try it on so it was slightly too large for my pup. However I used it several times but it is fairly impractical when it is warm outside. There is too much surface area covering the dog and the harness is very stiff (doesn't allow for much breathability or flexibility). The small handle on the back is FAR too short and fairly impractical. I only used it on my dog twice and never used it after that.

I would only recommend this for someone who lives in a cooler climate, I am going to buy another that is less bulky.

Dean and Tyler La Main Naked Short Handle Leash, Black 1-Foot by 3/4-Inch Width With Solid Brass Snap Hook. The short handle leash is easy to use with two high energy boxers who love to pull. Great quality with a nice storage bag as a bonus.

I think everything from Dean & Tyler is overpriced, but there really weren't too many other very short leashes to compete against this and the other ones I saw all seemed kind of flimsy. I wish I could have gotten this for less money, but it is well made and it should last for many years.

Petrageous Designs Travel Goody Bag, GreenThis worked fine while in a training class with my big standard poodle. The flap makes it hard for me to get the treats out but also keeps his big nose out of the bag! I can also put it in my purse when we go out, the flap keeps the treats from spilling. Starburst Tie Dye Dog Lead in Yellow

Casual Canine Nylon Starburst Tie Dye Dog Lead, 6-Feet, YellowThis matches my puppy's collar and is a very nice lead. It's 5/8" wide and the hardware is an appropriate size and weight for a small breed dog. I first bought the 6-foot long one, but after examining and using it a couple of times decided to get this one. The 6-ft. one has a latch attachment that is a full 3/4" longer than this one and appropriately wider and heavier -too heavy, in my opinion, for a small dog. Mine is a Maltese, for comparison.

Background color is yellowish and the design is purplish/greenish-blue. The material is so extremely smooth and soft and feels good in my hand.

Tell Bell - (pink)

Tell Bell -After 6 months of consistent trying, our (admittedly a little slow) 10 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel still didn't get the hang of the Tell Bell. He knew the bell would be rung before the door would open, but he would always stand by the door and wait for us to help him ring it.

I think the main problem is it takes too much coordination for a small dog to strike the bell in the right place and with enough force to actually ring it (the button is about the size of his paw, and it doesn't make much noise unless it is pushed sharply straight down).

In the end we replaced the $25 tell bell with a $1-ish jingle bell tied from the door handle on a string, hung just above the ground. We put a treat right under the bell so he had to move (ring) it to get his treat, and one week later he is already ringing it on his own when he wants to go outside.

At least six months with the Tell Bell taught him what "Ring your bell," means, even if he couldn't actually do it ;-)

The Tell Bell has worked extremely well for us as we have used it for almost a year now. We have been so exceedingly thrilled with our Tell Bell that we have purchased numerous Tell Bells for friends! I've been truly impressed with the quality and innovative design specifically made for dogs, which makes it comfortable to ring. A cheap bell from the store was not designed for a dog's paw and seems like it would annoy their paw when they stepped on it. Bells that hang on the door are not as effective as they scratch and ruin the door and would make noise when you open it. Additionally, we found that watching the instructional DVD as a family helped us all to get on the same page with her training, and the booklet was helpful to refer to and review the training details.

Everyone who has visited our house has been so amazed that our dog rings the Tell Bell to go potty. I've even had a repairman who noticed the paw on the bell and couldn't believe that she would ring it to go outside, and he was so impressed when she actually did it! Initially, we started another potty training method, and then switched to the Tell Bell, so it did take our dog a little longer to figure it out. We just kept being consistent knowing that it would work. It took us at least 6 weeks or more; however, once she got it, she got it. Our entire family was filled with such joy when she finally figured it out! That joy remains with us every day as it continues to be so much fun to hear her ring the bell to go outside. It always brings a smile to our faces.

We have 2 Tell Bells, one at the garage door, and the other at the back door. We've successfully trained our dog to ring the bell at the garage door when she has to go potty, and the other bell at back door when she wants to go outside and play. It's convenient that each Tell Bell comes with 2 bells. Right after she learned to ring the bell, all of my kids walked out of the garage door to go play, and she whacked at the bell over and over again because she wanted to go outside to play with them. It was too funny! Through the consistent training that they teach on the DVD, she eventually learned how to use the bells properly. Our Tell Bells have also visited several people's houses and she has used them successfully, even in strange homes.

The Tell Bell works well! We give the Tell Bell the highest recommendation possible. It's a quality product with a remarkably effective training technique that has worked well for us, as well as the numerous people we have given it to as a gift.

Buy Tell Bell - (pink) Now

We had relatives coming for a visit and their dog was coming with them. I asked if the dog was potty trained. She said yes and the dog uses a specially designed doorbell that sits by the door called Tell Bell. I have very nice doors that I did not want scratched and new carpet so I was not thrilled, but knew that the relatives were exceptionally clean people and would never let a dog stay in the house that was not "potty trained".

When the family put the Tell Bell by the door, I found it adorable! And sure enough, the dog hit the bell and went outside. No howling, no scratching!

Adorable! In fact, we offered to watch their dog while they visited elsewhere. We've bought a Tell Bell ourselves and it always makes our guests smile every time the Tell Bell rings.

We are told the people made the Tell Bell to stop sooooo many dogs from going into shelters. Many dogs go into shelters because the owners can not get the dogs potty trained. The people who made Tell Bell hope the Tell Bell would help keep the dogs out of the shelters. If you don't have a Tell Bell trained dog, then get it Tell Bell trained. You will never have a problem in finding someone to watch your dog. I wish everyone would do this so there would be less dogs at animal shelters. What a great fun way to love your dog even more.

I love this product in so many ways. How do I count the ways? This product is excellent in that you get two for the price of one, so one of the bells can travel or just stay at the sitters house, NO BATTERIES required! DVD gives instructions whereas many of the other products do not, no scratching ever on my doors, no barking or howling,

This was a great find for me....I was about to go on vacation and my dog, who has learned to ring a bell to got outside and potty, was going to join me on a trip. We'd been using some small windchimes on our French doors--we hung them low using a Command Hook (c) and it's always been a hastle trying to find a place to put them when we visit other places as I don't always remember to take extra hooks with me. I found this bell and it was an answer to my problem--and a bonus was that it included TWO bells PLUS a training DVD! Now, I have one bell by the door and the other bell stays in her "to go bag" ready for any trip that we might take next. This was a definate good find and the package was delivered in perfect timing for my trip. I will use this seller again!

Dean and Tyler DT Dog Harness, Black With Yellow Trim, Large - Fits Girth Size: 32-Inch to 42-Inch

Dean and Tyler DT Dog Harness, Black With Yellow Trim, Large - Fits Girth Size: 32-Inch to 42-InchI ordered this for my 4y/o German shepherd Pit bull mix. This is

A) the easiest harness I've ever put on her

B) the fastest shipping ever! I ordered it Friday and its now Monday and on my dog! That was with the regular cheap shipping and

C) Exactly what was advertised! No surprises and no gimmicks!

The only possible downside I can even think of is that the harness (according to my little brother) makes her look like those dogs that lead the blind lmao.

I will be ordering another one for my 11 y/o Chow mix and all future dogs i get!

This is a great harness, I bought it for my doberman who was constantly pulling my arm down, because he always wanted to smell the ground. I use to get so frustrated walking him, it wasn't a walk it was a chore. now he is much more tolerable to walk. I don't get frustrated and neither does he.

This harness is the best. It is so easy to put on our 4yr Lab and she loves it. It seems to be a really comfortable fit for her. My son runs her on his bike and it doesn't pinch or cut or bind in any way. The service was exceptional, I received it within 72 hrs of ordering. At first I was a little apprehensive about the price, but I will tell you it is the best money I have ever spent online! I highly reccommend this harness for any dog, it is a great experience for both dog and owner.

At first I was a bit turned off by the price of this harness but I have decided it was well worth it. It shipped out very quickly even with the free supersaver shipping and upon opening the box I noticed how well constructed it was. In the few days I have had this harness I have used it on my 7 year old German shepherd to go hiking, biking, and just to walk around town in, so not only does it look great on her but the versatility (especially due to the 3 D-rings) can't be beat. She already gets excited like a puppy again when she sees me bring it out which makes the easiness off putting it on her so useful, plus with her large neck and deep chest other harnesses never seemed to fit quite right, this harness fits perfectly. I will definitely be purchasing my boxer one very very soon and my dad has even noted that he had plans on ordering his jagdterrier one.

Want Dean and Tyler DT Dog Harness, Black With Yellow Trim, Large - Fits Girth Size: 32-Inch to 42-Inch Discount?

I followed the recommendations of the seller in ordering a large for a near 70 pound Staffordshire Terrier. Way too loose! The belly strap adjusted quite well, but the front chest strap could not be adjusted to fit. Thus, I had to return the harness and re-order another one to two week wait. Amazon's return policy and procedure is the best in the industry, but vendors using Amazon often leave a lot of information on product to conjecture. In all fairness to Dean & Taylor, the quality of this product is first rate.

PureBites Duck Dog Treats, 2.6-Ounce

PureBites Duck Dog Treats, 2.6-OunceOne of my cats was recently diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This means no grain, beef, chicken, pork, or turkey for him, as any of these could aggravate his condition. He is now on a "novel" protein diet, and in this case, the novel protein happens to be duck. Unfortunately, because of this diet, I had to stop buying the usual cat treats and find something else. My criteria were: (1) duck protein and (2) that all my cats (not just the IBD one) like the treat. If I put treats out, it's not as though I can tell the cats which treats they're allowed to eat and which they're not! I thought it would be a tall order to find a product that satisfied both criteria.

I heard about the PureBites treats from another person who has a cat with IBD and I bought a bag from a local store to test them out (didn't want to place an order only to find out the cats hated them or something). Luckily, all four of my cats thought these were great -even the cat who won't touch Temptations treats.

These treats come in pieces that are appropriate in size for a large-ish dog, but they are quite easy to break into smaller, cat-sized pieces using only your fingers. These treats have a texture similar to astronaut ice cream, if you've ever had that, which is not surprising as they are also freeze-dried.

They are duck liver, as a few other reviewers have mentioned. In my case, that's OK, as the cat's food has a large proportion of duck liver in it anyway, so I figure it's not really adding anything that he's not already getting in quantity. I also like that that's the ONLY ingredient; when you have an IBD cat, you really have to watch out for ingredients -even minor ones -that can aggravate the IBD.

I should also mention that even though these are freeze-dried, they're not terribly hard. The IBD kitty had six teeth removed a couple of days ago (separate issue) but he has no trouble consuming these treats. I believe they soften considerably when exposed to moisture. One other thing -they seem fine at room temperature (no need for refrigeration).

At any rate, if you have a cat with food allergies or IBD or some similar condition, these might be a good fit for you.

My cats love these treats, but I didn't realize that they are actually duck liver as opposed to duck meat, in case that makes a difference for any one.

Buy PureBites Duck Dog Treats, 2.6-Ounce Now

This treat is the most highly sought after treat I have ever purchased for my high drive German Shepherd Dog for all types of training. For volatile situations like dog reactivity, you may find this treat will reel in your dog's attention when all else fails. This is the last resort, and I reserve it for emergencies when he has no interest in ordinary treats. It's like carrying a concealed weapon!

Read Best Reviews of PureBites Duck Dog Treats, 2.6-Ounce Here

I wanted to write a review to let folks know that these are duck LIVER treats, not duck meat. I bought these before the review posted by "vivere" who also warns folks of this. It is very unfortunate that this ingredient information is not listed for this product, it's important for buyers to know.

I did not want another liver treat for our dogs. I wanted regular meat because you can only use a few liver treats per day for a dog. So, while you can use these as a treat, you really wouldn't want to use a large quantity for a larger training session.

Anyway, other than the issue of this treat being liver.... Our dogs love them. But, even if they were meat, I would not order again because they are too "crushed" in the package. There was a significant amount of "dust" instead of treat bites in our bag. Amazon packaged it well, with plastic pillows, but I think the product soft-side packaging just doesn't protect it well enough. For our standard liver treats, we buy Stewart's Pro-Treat 21 ounce Tub Freeze Dried Dog Treats, Beef Liver by MiracleCorp/Gimborn that come in a hard bucket that helps protect the treats from destruction. Of course, the reason I didn't want more liver treats is because I already have this one liver treat, and that's plenty.

I'm rating this 2 stars because it is different from the standard treats, therefore our dogs love them as a special reward (e.g. used for recall command). But, I feel like I have to rate this lower because of the lack of ingredient information. It's an important missing fact.

Hope this info helps.

Dog Collar with Green LED Lights, Multi-Function, Small

Dog Collar with Green LED Lights, Multi-Function, SmallThis collar is fun and very functional. I received the collar exactly when seller stated I would. I would definetly purchase from this seller again. The collar extends to 17" and is about an inch and one half wide. It fit my 13" dogs neck perfectly.

We have a black toy poodle (about 8 pounds)that we were having trouble seeing at night in the backyard. We tried another light up collar but it was too big and bulky for him. So then we tried the light that you can hang off of any collar and that was extremly hard to turn on and off. Also if the dog wasn't facing you the light was not visible either and you still couldn't see him.

Third try was the charm for us with this collar. It turns on and off easily with the button on the side of it and it is bright enough we can see him with no problem. The lights going all the way around the collar makes him very visible at night no matter which way he is facing.

My only suggestion is to buy some extra batteries, in the description it says uses "Battery: 2 CR2025 batteries that can last up to 100 hours". We purchased this collar 4 months ago and the batteries are already dead. We only turn it on for a few minutes at night to let him out and turn it off as soon as he comes in the house. Batteries are inexpensive enough though that if they need to be changed more often we will gladly do that so we can see him when he is outside at night. All in all great product that seems well made, easy to put on and off the dog and bright enough to be able to see the dog in the dark, I would recommend this product.

Agility in the Bag

Agility in the BagWe have labs, and my daughters love to play with them in the yard. My wife bought this set for them, and I think its a great product. It's not just for kids. The bag is great and manages to fit everything. The chute attached to the tunnel (held on by elastic) sometimes pulls off when our big guy runs through it, but I fixed this problem by clipping binder clips around the rim. I would recommend this set. I'm actually getting another one for my other daughter, as they each have a dog.

My dog and I are both new to agility training. It's been a great exercise program for both of us. She's having fun and frankly, so am I. The kit is easy to use, easy to break down and store. Came with good instructions, too. I would recommend this kit to anyone who just wants to have fun with their dog and lose some weight in the bargain.

I would imagine that this kit is not professional quality, but it all fits nicely in our dog run and I'm happy with the level of quality.

Dean and Tyler DT Freedom Muzzle, Size No. 2 - German Shepherd MediumVery well made product and functional as well. Downside is that measuring and sizing is very difficult. Four Paws On Target Trainer Wee-Wee Pad Holder for Dogs

Four Paws On Target Trainer Wee-Wee Pad Holder for DogsThis product really saves your floors. I would recommend it. Fits most pad liners. Good purchase. Does what it suppose to do.

This product was a lifesaver for my little chiweenie! I adopted her from a shelter when she was 3 month's old and she had no training at all! She is very stubborn and impossible to train, so I had no luck house training her outside. She would go 12 hours without pottying because she refused to use the grass, so I got some puppy pads and started using them on my enclosed back porch. She caught on to the pads quickly, but sometimes missed. I saw this item at petsmart and it has been well worth it (although $10 higher there). I would definitely recommend this product for training or a permanent solution.

I just got these delivered today. Even with the mixed reviews, this thing works great. I bought 2 of these, one for my living room, and one for my bathroom, and my puppy already started using them right away. It keeps him from missing the pad and sometimes soaking through the pad and dampening the floor was a problem. But not anymore! It fits perfectly with the Wee Wee puppy pads from Four Paws. I highly recommend this to small dog owners who are too busy to walk your dog outside every time they need to "go".

I have two of these and love them. It keeps my 3-month-old puppy from getting to the edges and just missing the pad and going part on the pad and part on the floor. It also allows me to get cheaper wee-wee pads that can leak through to the floor or carpet if I didn't have this. It snaps together in a breeze and stays together. It's very easy to clean and she knows just where both of her potties are at all times. I would highly recommend this for anyone with a smaller dog wanting to save on the pads that can get really expensive and wanting to keep their dog on the pad. I don't think it would work so well with larger dogs...but I can't really say because mine is only about 4 pounds. But it works great for us.

I own 3 of thes trainer peepee pad holders.

The best for training your puppy to stay on the pad.

This looks soooo much better thatn jus the regular peepee pad holders. Also, everything stays inside on the pad and not on the edges like the flat peepee pad holders.

I have trained 3 dogs already and still use this peepee pad holder.

Get the Radio Shack spray cleaner for under $8 as a replacement. 10oz for about the same price. This is the same ingredient. The heads match and it works fine. Just remove the spray attachment from the canister. Other sprays may also work. enjoy!

We have had an ugly cover on our leather couch for nearly two years because our furry friends liked to use it as a bathroom (their way of making editorial comments). Now we can actually use the couch and don't have to cover it! The combination of the alarm and air squirting keeps them completely off. We hope to eventually set it for alarm only to avoid buying refills for the compressed air. Just be sure you buy the model with the alarm they also have one with just compressed air that would tie you into endless refills.

I have had kitties all my life, and as all know, they are not prone to taking orders. LOL If youo have a spot or spots you need to keep them away from, GET THIS PRODUCT. It is incredibly effective. I don't even need the spray part of it turned on any more. It makes a whistle first, then sprays (if spray is turned on) Now they have come to associate the whistle with the spray and just skedaddle. Counter tops, back of my computer where the wires are. They don't even go near any of it anymore, as they know this thing is there. Pavlov dogs. Great great product.

We are a multiple cat household and I'm not sure how we would survive without the SSSCat Cat control system. We have several of them set up around the house. One keeps our cats from rattling our bedroom door in the morning, a couple of others keep them off certain pieces of furniture, and so on. We have been using them for years and our cats have never gotten so accustomed to them that the sprays have stopped being effective. Placing the top on the refill cans can be a bit tricky at first, but is easy enough once you get the hang of it. The refills may seem a bit pricey, but ours typically last for several months because the cats recognize them and, so, rarely set them off.

I bought 3 refills and they are not fitting the original head that I bought 3 months ago. And, of course, I can't return them. Waste of money. Thanks for nothing, Innotek.

Qpets High Quality Remote 3 levels Shock with Vibration Trainig Collar for 2 Dogs SP 102

Qpets High Quality Remote 3 levels Shock with Vibration Trainig Collar for 2 Dogs SP 102I bought a similar collar from other seller before. It was not good. The instruction was not very clear to tell me how to use the product, and I could not find any manufacturer information on the package to call them. It worked for one month then quit work.

I thought this product same as the one I purchase which there is no manufacturer information when I need to know some information about the product. When I received the product I knew I bought the right one because there are manufacture information on the package and I call them for the direction to use this product. They were very nice.

It really does what it says it will do. I like the fact that it has a vibrate button (after doing two shocks this is the only control that I need). Most of the time just putting the collar on insures that she stops barking. We are using this collar for two dogs and are very happy with it.

I didn't realize that the vibration function vibrated both collars, and can't be separated to only vibrate one collar or the other. I wanted to use the vibration function as a first warning, but didn't want to warn both dogs if only one was misbehaving, so I only put one collar on one dog. It worked great for one day. The following morning the collar no longer received the signal, so I put the second collar on the same dog. It again worked great for one day. The following morning it now longer picked up the signal. This would be a great product if it worked for more than one day.

Really bad battery life. They would die after 1 to 2 days. We did not even use them much and it still drained the batterys in the collars too quickly.

Also the collars would lose signal from the remote. Sometimes one, sometimes both. Pulling the battery out and back in seemed to do the trick, but that is a pain.
