Dogtra D280NCP Platinum Training Collar, Part No. 280NCP (Product Group: Remote Training Collars)

I've owned this collar for 3 years now and I am just purchasing my first replaceable battery for it. This is fully adjustable from nothing to a shock that made me cringe. I tried shocking myself before shocking my dog and I am afraid to set it over 100.

The vibrate button on this collar is great, I rarely have to nick my dog any more. After training her (vibrate, vibrate then nick) she associated the vibrate with the nick and a simple vibrate will get her to return to me from any distance with or without a line of sight.

Also, I've had this collar underwater countless times and it has held up. My dog loves to swim and sometimes goes a little to far out into lakes. A vibrate makes her turn around and head back in my direction every time.

I am leaving a review because of the negative review I saw. I am a very happy customer and even happier to find that the batteries are replaceable so I felt I needed to comment on it.

The receiver broke off the collar after 3 months. Not a high quality product as the price would suggest. Definitely make sure you keep your receipt.

Guardian Gear Reflective Pet Lead Leash - Blue

I bought this leash for night time or dusk dog walking. It is a nice weight and nice reflective strip. However the reflective strip is only on one side of the leash. This is ok, since the leash is rarely straight with only one side showing. I bought other leashes at the same time that have 2 reflective sides, but they are 1 inch wide and have heavier buckles. I still end up using them instead of this one more often, for the safety factor. I like the feel of this one better though.

I volunteer at a local shelter and bought this for us to walk dogs in the dark since that about 4:30pm in the winter. After about a month of use the reflective fell off :( Still a good leash but not reflective anymore.

We bought this leash because our neighbourhood has poor lighting and no sidewalks in many streets. The reflective leash is very reflective an works great.... Until it starts peeling off like scotch tape.

Ours lasted 3 week bofore coming off.... Now it's just a leash.

This is a very scary product because of many dogs becoming sick after consuming them. My beloved Pitt Bull has never had a seizure...until after eating these. I have 6 rescue dogs...I love to give them treats, but I felt so guilty after realizing I had bought them treats made in CHINA!. I don't understand why Amazon refuses to help us with these issues by clearly stating where dog products are manufactured. After trying dog obedience classes without any success, we purchased the Multivet Spray Commander for our black lab/rat terrier mix. The results were immediate. It's a little tricky to get into the swing of training and our dog slumped around like we had beaten her for the first couple of days. One of our biggest challenges with her is that she became aggressive toward other animals and very territorial. Within a week of using this product, she no longer constantly harasses our ferret. She's also decided that the cat is her friend and not her enemy. Last night they were actually curled up together on the couch sleeping. Before using the Spray Commander this would have *never* happened.

The main thing in using this for training is that you have to be consistent. Remember to always reward good behavior and to never fail to correct bad behavior. Also, the only reason I can't give it five stars is that the remote is a little touchy. Keeping it on hand is one thing, keeping it in your pocket is quite another. I've accidentally sprayed her a couple of times when she's done nothing wrong. Needless to say, she got extra belly rubs and lovins for my mistakes. Also, the collar tends to loosen itself without some fancy threading through the buckle.

I'd only recommend the citronella scent for outdoor training. It's a really strong scent and a little much for inside training. I'm sure it will be great this summer though. Some spritzing around the camper this summer should keep the mosquitoes away. (When the collar is off the dog, of course!)

The product arrived defective. It just plain didn't work.

I contacted the manufacturer, who ignored all requests. They told me twice that they would send me return information, and it never came. I even gave them a fax number.

This Amazon seller is even worse. They take forever to ship the product out, and wanted me to pay return shipping to Canada myself because their product was defective.

Stay away. As far away as you can. Buy another product, especially one from a different manufacturer or seller.

I'm very happy with my Multivet Spray Commander. It's a great training tool for my 7mo.old puppy. I also have an older dog and a cat. When the puppy gets into one of my other pets food or space I just use the remote to give her a warning beep to stop her inappropriate behavior and she usually stops, but if she continues I press the spray button on the remote and she stops her bad behavior immediately. I really like this product because it is very versitable and humane. It can also be used to stop her from barking, begging, getting on furniture, etc. This product has been very effective for me and I would highly recommend it.

J'ai acheté le collier Spray commander pour mon Labrador de 5 mois et je ne le regrette pas. Je devais lui dire "non", relever la plante, lui dire "non" encore, ramasser la terre avec le balai, lui dire "non lâche le balai", lui enlever la terre de la bouche, lui dire "non, donne le porte poussière", aller le reconduire au tapis et lui dire de rester, revenir ramasser la terre, lui dire "tapis", remettre la terre dans le pot, ranger le balai et lui dire encore "non" et retourner relever la plante !!!!!! Avec le Spay commander, 2 petits jets ont suffis ! Après seulement un mois et une seule bouteille utilisée le collier est maintenant utilisé 90% du temps au renforcement positif ! Le système Spray commander est à mon avis un outil positif pour le chien et pour le maître lorsqu'utilisé intelligemment. Le seul point négatif: la grosseur du système. Pour mon Labrador je trouve ça gros alors pour un petit chien....

At first I was a bit turned off by the price of this harness but I have decided it was well worth it. It shipped out very quickly even with the free supersaver shipping and upon opening the box I noticed how well constructed it was. I followed the recommendations of the seller in ordering a large for a near 70 pound Staffordshire Terrier. Way too loose! The belly strap adjusted quite well, but the front chest strap could not be adjusted to fit. Thus, I had to return the harness and re-order another one to two week wait. Amazon's return policy and procedure is the best in the industry, but vendors using Amazon often leave a lot of information on product to conjecture. In all fairness to Dean & Taylor, the quality of this product is first rate.

As far as I can tell, the quality of this product is good. However, our little Scottie-girl has no interest in them. She ate part of the first one and pushed around the rest of it. Since then, she has had no interest in them, even when it is the only thing at the 'breakfast table' . It just sits there..lonely and unloved.

I was so disappointed with these treats for my 11 lb. Maltipoo. We had purchased a sweet potato treat for her previously at our local store, but they are no longer available, so I thought I would try these. However, they are very hard and our Bella wanted nothing to do with them after trying to chew them for a few minutes. I resorted to "steaming" them, and then cutting them into shorter pieces...some of the "fries" are 3-4 inches long...and the steaming worked for awhile, but then they became hard again. I would not recommend these for small dogs. Larger dogs might like them because of their hardness and their size.

We have a 185 lb Irish Wolfhound. He is a true gentle giant, but if he wants to go somewhere he will. We have had the 6 foot leash for a few years and like it. We have been using the 2 foot for a month or so and really like it. He doesn't get the room to gain traction so there is more control. There also is just a closer connection and he responds to it. It's also great just to have along even if you are off leash. You can stash it in your pocket or over the shoulder. Then when you come to the nervous hiker eying the beast, you whip it out, clip it in and everyone feels better. Having done a fair amount of mountaineering, I like the feel and look of the 10 mill rope. I also like the fact that it stays out of a landfill. All in all, it is Wolfhound proof and approved.

I just received this 2ft. lead today and have already completed 2 walks with it (7 miles total). I like the look of climbing rope leashes, and after pondering making my own, I discovered the Krebs versions. At their price, it definitely makes up for all the time and effort I would spend trying to make a leash as nice as this. My dog is rather small (a 30 lb. mini Aussie), so he does not stand very tall approx 18" at his shoulders. However, he's very good at walking right beside me whether he's on a leash or not, so I really don't need a lot of slack for him on a vigorous walk. I wanted something that would simply fall at my side with my arms relaxed and down, and not drag the ground. This length is a perfect match for my height and my dog's in that respect.

The quality of construction is top notch, but it still has the look of something that has been made individually and with great care. The cordura sleeve and stitching that binds the two ends of the rope together to form the loop looks strong and I have no worries about it not holding up.

I should note that the photos do not make it all that apparent that the leash is in fact a large open loop, with the exception of where it is bound together near the clasp... so, where most webbing leashes have a small loop for a handle, this is essentially one large loop (the photos make it seem like there is a small handle if you glance at it).
