A couple of years ago I adopted my Pepper Starlett. I brought her home at 6 weeks of age. It was a 50 minute drive from the breeder to my home. She CRIED the whole way home. I had to pull over and call my mother in tears, because I thought I was doing the wrong thing taking her home. I got home and my SnugglePuppie had arrived. I put the heat pack and the batteries in the heart, placed the stuffed animal in the crate with Pepper and she stopped whining and crying instantly. It was seriously a miracle. Worked so well, my husband ordered a 2nd one. Needless to say she doesn't need it any longer. I am adopting another puppy from Pepper's mother and I dare not go and pick Truffle up without the SnugglePuppie. I have plenty of heating pads but I can't find the 2nd heart. The first heart is not working. If I had anything bad to say about this product, it would be that I can't just purchase the heart that goes with this product. Not the toy's fault but the manufacturer's. Oh well, I will purchase the product again. Trust me, it's worth it. Whatever you do, keep the heartbeat working and the heating pads, it's worth the comfort it provides the puppy.

We have Snuggle Puppies for both of our dogs. They sleep with them every night and don't destroy them like they do with most toys. Our older dog will not go to bed without his. This is a great product and worth every penny. It works wonders comforting new puppies! As long as we have dogs we will have a Snuggle Puppy for each of them!

If the Snuggle Puppy isn't available in the color/breed you want, set those wishes aside. This isn't about you! Your new puppy isn't going to know the difference. We got the Dalmation (all that was available at the time) for our Goldendoodle puppy. He LOVES it. We dropped it off at the breeder the night before we picked up our puppy so that it would have the scent of Mom and siblings. Our puppy loves this toy....just remember to turn the heart off when not in use so you don't run the battery down. We've had our puppy for a week now, and he goes right to sleep. I just put him in his crate and he patiently waited for me to start the heart. Now he's resting with his head on his Snuggle Puppy. Totally worth the $$!

Great idea but not sure if our new puppy responded to the heart beat or the heat. We forgot to turn off the heartbeat so of course of the battery died and we haven't replaced it. We also only used the warmer pouch once. Nevertheless, we do often find her sleeping on it in her crate like a pillow.
