SENSE-ation No-Pull Dog Harness - Purple

My JRT puppy used to pull on walks with her other harness. You know the kind... The kind that has the ring you snap into on the dog's back.

But after using this harness (in conjunction with obedience training) success! She now walks beautifully.

I've also noticed that when/if I use her collar (for those quick potty breaks in the middle of the night) she still is trained to not pull.

CON (which prevented me giving this product the five stars):

It's super easy to accidentally pinch her skin when putting on or taking off the harness. It also doesn't help that the clasp part is in an awkward position (under the armpit) and is sometimes "temperamental". For a few weeks, she would run away from me when she saw the harness come out (even with chicken liver present!). I've had to seriously work/train/condition/make it fun to have the harness put on. To this day, I still present treats before, during and after snapping the harness on.

I bought my first sense-ation no-pull soft-touch harness back when the company first started. I have bought one for each of my dogs over the years. None have ever worn down or broken and I use them every other day all year long hiking up the mountain out back. In the snow too. I can't speak highly enough about this product. My first two have been through multiple dogs. They deserve a ten!!

I got this for my 5 month old ridgeback puppy because of how hard she was pulling on her collar I was worried about her hurting herself. =(

The harness works great. There is an upper limit to how hard she can pull (important when she's already 55lb and I'm 100lb) before the harness trips her. It took me a couple weeks of adjusting the fit before it stopped chafing her armpits, but now she wears it all day without any irritation. Very sturdy design too; despite how strong my pup is and how big she is going to get, I am not worried about her being able to break it in the slightest.

Overall: super effective in helping me train my puppy to stop pulling as well as stops her from being able to put all of her weight and strength into pulling me in emergency situations (assuming it is fitted properly and you are paying attention).
