Himalayan Dog Chew and Treat X-Large 6 ounce 1 Piece

I give these to my 49 and 30 lb dogs all the time. They simply love them.

I've had co-workers tell me the rawhide chews can result in surgery, and with these I know the small bits are digestable.

My dogs love them, and they seem to last much longer than other chews.

The only down side is when the chew gets really small, my big dog can swallow the remaining amount.

So I find it best to put into a kong toy to allow here to continue to gnaw on it without swallowing it.

If she does swallow it, it will make her ill, she ralphs, and feels fine again. Not a huge danger, but

watch out for that.

I will continue to order these, really saves 5the other stuff in the house from getting chewed up, and

the dogs love them.

My dog can't have rawhides and is allergic to a lot of food ingredients. This is the perfect chew for him! All natural and keeps him busy (he's an 80 lb monster am staf!) I thought he didn't like it at first... but after a bit of licking and softening at it...you can't take it away from him! This is my go to when frozen raw bones are not an option.

I can't believe how great these are. They last a really long time, so my dogs can't be getting much off of it, but they absolutely love these chewies. Also, my dogs don't seem to want to swallow these. They'll swallow any other chewie once it gets small, but not these, so I don't have to watch them as closely or worry.

These are great! I give these chewies when I want the dogs to calm down and relax for a while, great for after dinner or while I'm doing some work.

This product does everything they say it's going to to. I had my puppy housebroken in 2 weeks, and we started him at 8 weeks. I intend to use this inside at all times, but if you keep your puppy going outside while using the Petlawn, you can train them to go in both areas.

So, if you want to use this part time and go outside the rest of the time, that's not a problem at all.

My dog is only 14 lbs (yorki schnauzer) mix at first he wouldn't go anywhere near it but he would pee all around it. Once he got on it he would pee but it still goes all over the floor it's not big enough to handle a stream of pee maybe I give him too much water. Haha I had to potty train him in my apartment because I broke my leg and couldn't take him downstairs. I bought the training pee spray and he wouldn't go anywhere near that either. I put his own doodoo on it and nothing. He'll poop all around it and get on it and pee off of it. Right now I just have all of the pads around it and none in it because no pee manages to get in the grass. The closest he got was peeing in the handy bag dispenser and getting them all disgusting. It might be helpful for some. It's a crapshoot get it? baha. Maybe it works with teacup puppies with great aim?

We have 2 chihuahuas. One female and one male (but he squats, he doesn't know he's a boy!) We have 4 acres but since we work full time we needed to have them house trained as well. We tried regular litter etc but they preferred the carpet. After 5 YEARS of carpet cleaning and ripping out the carpet in the family room because they ruined it and putting regular flooring down and them switching to using the dining room carpet, I finally bought the Pet Lawn. They ignored it. So I put a really thin junk towel in the dining room in their favorite pee spot and left it there for a few days for them to do their thing on. Then I placed the dirty towel on the Pet Lawn and blocked off the dining room so they had no access. They found the towel on the Pet Lawn and started going there. I was able to remove the towel and they continued using the Pet Lawn. Although there are other areas of the house with carpet that they have access to, they only go where they are supposed to now. Its been 3 months and so far no accidents. After 5 years of messes, I am THRILLED!! Both of my dogs squat so I don't know how it would be with a dog that actually lifts his leg.

The grass is fine, if I want better grass, which is not necessary it would be possible to go to Lowes hardware store and purchase any artificial grass I like and replace it. This is a plus, since the artificial grass that comes with it has holes punctured in it so the wetness can seep to the lower container and be caught by the "diaper" in the lower compartment. It also comes with bags to pick up the solid droppings. I had to purchase a can of pet spray to let the dog know I would appreciate the dog to do its' business on the mat. At first the dog thought it was a piece of furniture, and would only smell at it. Besides this, I like the product, and all the good people who thought of making this product so useful expecially when I have to go to town and the dog needs to go outside, she knows she is allowed to eliminate her waste on the grassy mat. I would order this again, if the need for this system arrives.

These flags are so small my dog wasn't even noticing them, defeating the whole idea of containment since she wasn't aware of the barrier. Now, in defense of the manufacturer, it's winter in Ohio and the ground is white with snow, making the puny white flags almost invisible. So I bought some plastic safety-orange 1" wide tape, cut 6 inch lengths and stapled them to the flags. That worked.

These flags are brittle plastic. They snap easily. I had to 'predrill' for every one with a screwdriver. The metal ones are much easier to install. On the other hand, the plastic ones are easier on the lawn mower. The picture appears to be the metal variety but that is not what i received.

When I initially installed the fence it came with wire stems on the flags (as shown in the picture when ordering) and the flags were larger. This last set I purchased were plastic and very small. I agree with another reviewer, the plastic is too hard to stick in the ground. I returned them immediately.

I tried the biscuit variety of this product, but my dog didn't like them, so therefore she mostly wouldn't eat them, therefore, the lawn still had brown spots. I put the liquid in her food, split between the morning and evening feeding, and I haven't seen a new brown spot in a long time (although I am still patching the old ones). A previous reviewer mentioned putting the liquid into their dog's water. I can understand that not working, as the liquid doesn't smell very good. I mix canned food with dry, so that may help my dog get past any objection she might have to the smell or taste of this product.

It works. My lawn's brown spots have disappeared. But my dog doesn't like the taste...I don't like the smell. I mix the liquid with a couple of his doggie biscuits and give it to him between meals. That seems to work and my grass is greener. Now to deal with the dog pooh....

This collar works great and the low profile design is exactly what i desired. I bought the 19" version. I have a 9 month old pit bull and she requires a pinch. She is on the small side but still incredible strong and her desire to show dominance is just a strong. I tried the choke and a conventional pinch collar. The choke collar was an epic fail and often caused more harm than correction. When using the traditional pinch collar it was effective and she responded very well. I (as I'm sure others) grew very tired very quickly of all the negative comments I reiceved from uneducated dog owners and non dog owners on the merits of using a pinch. One lady even said she'd call Animal Cruelty on me, as her own lab was attempting to pull her arm out of her socket. The low profile of this collar allows me and my pup the security and strength of training with a pinch whithout letting idiots in on the secret.

This collar would be worth 5 stars if it weren't for two issues.

1) It's is extremely difficult to adjust at first, it takes a lot of muscling to seperate the prongs.

2) There is a longer than normal adjustment period for your Pup as well as some serious neck chaffing and scrapping until adjusted just right.

All and all though definetly worth the investment.

I like that the collar looks good, and is easy on-easy off. It works like the traditional prong. The bad... I have had the quick-snap pop off while the dog was on the leash. So now, I when using this one, I make sure to use a back-up collar as well.

This collar is really well built, looks amazing, and very affective if you size it right. It pinches and has little teeth that are springy just enough to not hurt your dog too much. Once they get the hang of this collar, a light tug is all you need. My vet admired the collar for how great it is. It will make your dog look tough. My little shiba will be wearing this for the rest of his life.

This collar is for walking only. Do not connect your dog on a flexible leash and allow them to run full speed to the end. Get a harness for that.

SENSE-ation No-Pull Dog Harness - Medium/Large (Wide) Black

After blowing through just about every device in the book to get my young, drivey American Staffordshire Terrier to walk without dragging me or my husband down the street, I can reliably recommend this product as the best of all of them. It doesn't irritate the skin like a pinch collar does, and it's more effective, because it doesn't rely on a pinch that some dogs (like mine) can't even feel. It directs the dog, and they don't seem to be able to resist.

I also tried the Easy Walk, mostly because I gave my first Sense-ation harness away to someone who was rescuing a pitbull puppy, and Easy Walk was the only front-attachment harness my local pet store carried. Now I'm back online ordering the Sense-ation. It fits better, has fewer moving parts (no shoulder buckle and no martingale front) and the webbing seems to be softer and more durable.

This is the harness used and preferred at our local Animal Care and Control in San Francisco. Because the clip controller is at the front of the chest it makes it very easy to control the dog. Even a big dog walked by a volunteer is in control of that volunteer; if he lunges at another dog or to get ahead he will end up flopping over before he pulls his walker off his or her feet. We use it by clipping the harness to the collar (we use a martingale clip collar). This is the best!

Although I do really like this product, especially compared to a similar knock off that we bought at a fair last year, it still does not prevent a large dog from dragging you. Granted, I have two very large Alaskan Malamutes (100 lbs and 120 lbs) and I'm very petite, so if they want to get at something, they will drag me no matter what I'm walking them with; although it might be with much less force. When they are not trying to get at another dog/animal, they are much easier to handle with this harness. Overall, I do like this product and the only way I will walk them is with one of these harnesses.

We have been using the Sense-ation harness for one year now and it has worked very well with correcting our dog's tendency to pull ahead of us as we walk or run. We had, previously, used two different brands of head collars (e.g., Gentle Leader) with mixed success: uncomfortable and jumpy in the beginning, settled down wonderfully for a few months, then slight but uncharacteristic "rebellious" behavior and willingness to tug back on the leash despite attachment to head collar. Our Labradoodle would also paw her face over and over with the head collar on and for a while when removed. I would surmise that it was irritating her.

However, she, immediately, took to the Sense-ation harness and did not show any resistance or irritation to wearing it. Not tight, not loose and she seemed not to even notice that she was wearing it. Holding a short leash was enough for her to "sense" the tight leash needed to be slackened, so she would pull ahead very little or not at all. Whether it was discomfort or other sensation she felt, I do not know. But it works... right from the get-go!

She responds to a curt but not loud, "Hey!" So, in the beginning, just a slight tug on the leash while saying "Hey" was enough to "tell" her to come back a bit and pull abreast rather than forging ahead. After a while, "Hey" was enough. Every so often, if she keeps abreast, a gentle "Good Girl" reinforces the behavior. With squirrels, I wouldn't place a bet yet as she displays distinct hunting behaviour (stalking, pointing).

We clean/disinfect the collar by:

-soaking 10-15 minutes in a mixture of water (1 qt), dishwashing liquid (1/2 tsp), distilled white vinegar (2 tbsp), household bleach (2 tbsp) (do outdoors if good ventilation is not available)

-vigorously shaking/agitating for about a minute while soaking

-rinsing well in fresh cold water

-hanging dry (in front of a fan works well)

I have a bouncy, 60 pound boxer dog who needed a little more guidance during our walks. At first, I was really excited about this harness...previously relying on a choke collar was no longer effective, as she would choke herself trying to charge at other dogs. The harness seemed to work well, making it easier for me to control her and she no longer tried to walk in front of me. But now, just a couple weeks later, I am seeing areas of wear on her body. Most notably, there is a rough spot on the back of her right elbow where the large plastic buckle rubs and there are large spots on her shoulder blades (where the fur is beginning to fall out) where the front strap rubs. I would say that I have the harness adjust to a loose setting, so I am disappointed to see these areas starting to develop. Guess I'm still on the hunt for the perfect harness...

I use size XL for my 55lb boxer girl. Neither the XL or the L fit well straight out of the package. I also bought iron-on velcro to extend the velcro already on the diaper; It makes it fit around the legs and stay on(and in my opinion is totally necessary). I also sewed the tail hole closed since her tail was too short and incorrectly positioned to utilize the tail hole. A large probably could've fit if my dog didn't need diaper liners/pads, but with the pads you definitely need a little extra room. I use Tena Heavy and Long. They're about $10-12 for a 42 pack. In combination with the pads and the velcro, these cover-ups are great. They launder easily, and my dog doesn't mind them as much as other brands. They're lightweight and comfortable, yet do the job.

I have an elderly border collie who has developed incontinence. These work great for saving the dog beds from having to be washed constantly. I bought "L" which should have fit her according to the package sizing but they are too small. I'm going to order the "XL" and those should fit perfectly. Other than the size issue I'm pleased with the product.

Read the reviews and thought this might be the ticket for my older Dobe/Rott who is a new diabetic. No-didn't fit well. The XL shows a golden on the label but I can't believe that this product would fit a lab or a golden. My dog is more of a dobe build. IMHO product needs a better fit around the legs. We also tried the disposable diapers by same co.--not a good fit either. I purchased the Poise pads (recommended by another reviewer) to go inside the washabe cover-up. Our experience was not a good one-do not buy the poise pads here until you try one package first. Go to Walmart or Walgreens. We ended up putting our dog on medication (phenylpropanolamine)after trying Estroil (did not work and the dosing schedule ugghh).

All is good again at our home finally. Good luck with your dog ... been there

I was really hopeful after reading the reviews on this site and others, so I ordered two of these mats. I put one on the counter, and immediately my cat jumped onto the counter and expertly avoided the mat. So, I put the mats side-by-side on the counter, insuring there was absolutely no way he cound jump onto the counter without jumping onto the prickly mats. He's unphased. I don't get it, but the mats are absolutely not a deterrent. He doesn't seem to mind being poked in the paws. I'm so surprised these don't work given everything I've read that I had to write a review so that others are at least warned of the possibility.

This mat reminds me of those office mats you put under your office chair. One side is smooth and the other is spikey. You place it on your sofa/chair with the spikes up.

My pug, loves to snuggle up on my brand new rocking chair. Since I did not want to use a ScatMat (seems too cruel) and I could not find a similar product small enough for a chair, I purchased the X-Mat. I put the X-Mat on the chair and gently placed the pug's paws on it while saying no (I only had to do this once) and it's worked miracles. She has not jumped up once. She will pull herself up on the edge and look at the chair but will not jump on it. It's such a simple, cheap item, I love it. Very easy to remove when I want to sit. It hasn't happened to me yet, but remember to remove the X-Mat when you want to use the chair. It's pretty spikey.

I "inherited" two black cats and even though I am totally a dog person I felt compelled to keep the cats. I had tried EVERYTHING to keep my black cats off the furniture. And unfortunately, they didn't have a "favorite" chair, but liked them ALL. Vacuuming and using a tape roller or wet paper towel (depending on the furniture) was taking about an HOUR each week. I tried alarms and the cats just went to other chairs. So unless I wanted to buy 20 alarms, I was out of luck. I also tried putting large items on all the chairs, which was ridiculous! I honestly didn't believe that these would work or thought that I would need a gazillion of them. I bought 2 of them (one to put in kitchen chair and one for dining room chairs) and I never saw the cats jump up on them the first time (although they must have). All I can say is that IMMEDIATELY, the cats stopped jumping up on ALL the furniture and chairs. Even the chairs that had never had this device in them. AMAZING product. It really WORKS. Or if you are at the end of your rope (as I was) at least try it, as it truly worked for me when I had tried everything before!

Nothing Like It Designs Original DOH Housebreaking & Training Pad Holder

I'm a yorkshire terrier breeder. Several years ago I bought two of this size tray, and at the time you could also buy a dbl tray. I bought two dbl trays as well. I love these trays. They are far superior to other pee pad trays. When I went to reorder, the mail order catalog I bought them from had discontinued them. I didn't know they were made by "This is The Spot."

All my adult dogs go on these. I love how easy it is to change them. In addtion the outer frame is small so you utility almost all of the pee pad where in the other trays a lot of the pad is under the frame. You end up with more usable area, yet the overall size is smaller than the white and aqua snapping design. I've found the trays that are hinged, are difficult as the pad gets in the way of the hinge, so you have to fold the pad to get it to fit properly. (While you are fussing trying to get the pads in the puppies are jumping all over you and the pad!) As for the ones that snap together, they should put the snaping sides on the long sides not the short sides. The pad is very easy for the puppies to pull out of the frame. Sometime they don't snap properly.

I sell puppies to a lot of older couples, who don't have the best of balance and this is much easier for them to change than either of the other two styles.

I train all my puppies once they are weaned to go on these. Most of my customers living in condo, apartments, or working full time love the flexability of this system. We bought this because our puppies would drag the pee pads all over and shred them up. We ended up throwing away numerous unused pads because they were used as toys instead of their intended purpose. This holder has completely eliminated the playing with the pads. One dog was fine with the holder as soon as we put it out, but the other was more cautious of it, and had "went" on the floor next to the holder. By the second day though, both were fine with using it. We use Wee-Wee Pads brand and they fit great. The holder is really simple to open and close for changing out the pads as well.

These training pad holders were a switch for us from the 8 separate piece type (4 piece frame bottom and 4 piece frame top). We have used the separate piece type for many years but finally grew tired of the top pieces breaking and splitting and having to replace 4 pieces everytime we changed a pad. We live in a household with multiple small dogs so we have always used three pad holders in one room, side-by-side.

This Nothing Like It Design Training Pad Holder is easier to change in that we only have to remove the one piece top frame to change a pad but there are a few drawbacks:

1. As other reviewers have said, they do not "snap" together. In order to make a snug fit of top and bottom pieces of the frame, we find that putting two

pads in the frame at one time helps to snug up the fit. There isn't really any pad waste since the bottom pad just stays in place and we only replace

the top of the two pads when it is soiled.

2. These pad holders have plastic extensions at the corners that are wider than the actual frame. This does not allow you to have the pad frames flush up

against one another. The extended feet create an approximate 1/2" gap between the two holders. This causes a problem if the dogs happen to squat over the

gap allowing the urine to hit the floor underneath the holders. To rectify this, we put another pad underneath the two side-by-side holders to catch

any possible mishap.

3. These pad holders do not come with any sort of rubber feet. The entire bottom is plastic. Since we set them up on a tile floor, they were sliding

around as the dogs walked around them. To rectify this, I used some double sided carpet tape and slivers of non-skid shelf liner on each of the corners

and this seems to have remedied this problem.

So, as you can see, these training pad holders are far from perfect but workable in order to gain the ease of only having to remove one piece to change a pad. Another advantage is that they are actually made to fit, and utilize, the entire size of a 23" X 24" pad. The 8 piece frames are square and you lose some pad use.

We have a little shihtzu who loves to pee over the edge of his piddle pads. We got him the extra large holder that folds in half in hopes that if he had "enough room" he would stay on it...not so much. He still would go to the edge and pee over. Most of it was caught, but there was always some that would make it's way over and onto the floor where I had another piddle pad to catch it. The whole holder started to smell, even when we tried to clean it out as best we could because of all the nooks and crannies underneath the edges of it. We saw this one, which is the kind my daughter in law uses for her 2 little female dogs, and decided to give it a try. We didn't know if it would be big enough for him, although he had shown us repeatedly that size made NO difference. Anyway, the wee wee pads fit perfectly on this one and it is harder for him to go over the edge. If I keep it closer to the wall, it keeps his little lifted leg on the pad which greatly helps his aim. If he does go over, it is SO much easier to clean because it has a simple edge without any joints or cracks. Absolutely love it! I wish we had gotten this kind from the beginning. Maybe if you have females, the extra large one would work, but with our little male it did not. Another huge plus for us is that we like to change the pads several times throughout the day and it is super simple to do that with this. Just lift off the top, put the new pad down and replace the top. We will never have a different kind.

We have two Maltese pups who are exclusively pad trained. We are very pleased with this tray. The cheap Walmart pads fit securely and it is much easier to change the pads compared to a similar product we purchased prior to this one. The construction is sturdy, and attractive for the sort of item it is. While both pups were willing to urinate on the pad in the previous tray, they were hesitant to poop on it. I think this is because it does not sit as flat on the floor. Both pups have been willing to take care of all their business on this new tray. I would definitely order again if I needed to replace it or add a location. Because we have it located on a hard surface floor, my husband did add some small pads to the bottom at the corners to keep it from scooting.

We have had it for almost a month, so I feel like we have given enough time to make a fair assessment.
