I love it because most other pinch collars we bought our dog broke from pulling away this one he listens and its very durable. I found no cons for thisitem.
Shock level on both receivers behaved the same way, tried 4 different shock levels and they were all the same, which were WAY TOO HIGH. I would never put these on my dogs.

it is a good system but the controler is not very durable and the derections on how to use and set the remote are hard to understand. I went online and found a video on the collar that explained it perfectly. Be careful with your remote mine was lightly dropped and it had trouble functioning.I agree with the previous reviewer, that the shock level doesn't adjust up or down, but my dogs never needed the shock option anyway; the beep or the vibrate option was enough.
I have had a few different types of this type of leash. This one is by far the best one I have owned. Its sturdy and the button to hold your dog close or let it go farther is so easy and nice to use. It doesn't feel like its going to break like some of the other ones I've owned. I really love the bottom part that hooks to my dogs harness... its going to be well used and appreciated!

As many others have said in reviews, only the lead is reflective. I think that is fairly obvious from the pictures/description.
Wanted a sweater that was in my daughter's school colors. It was perfect, unfortunately too small. Returned it with no problems at all and seller refunded postage as well, which was unexpected but certainly appreciated. Dog's measurement s were right between sizes and should have gone with the next larger size.
This sure was a worth while product. We have four dogs that we walk daily weather permitting. We use the gentle leader on two of them and that did turn a pulling walk into a nice controled walk. Amazon.com came through for us again.
Regardless of the effectiveness of this harness, it is difficult to put on a live dog, especially a long hair collie mix. It should have been designed with clips on the leg straps to facilitate the ease of putting it on. The straps also get tangled up easily. This product needs more design work.

I have a german shepherd dog who likes to chew things, and so far this leash has withstood several times of him chewing on it (we've had it for about 6 months). Also, he used to pull on the leash quite a bit, which was hurting my husband's hand. A friend of our recommended that we get a leather leash instead of nylon to help with the problem. I need 1" leather leads for my dogs who are both part husky and like to pretend they are sled dogs. They are well trained but not perfect so I need the security of a strong leather lead. I've had mesh leads and one dog has slipped out of the clasp. But the worst is if they pull, the mesh burns your hand while the leather doesn't.
I trust only items that are made in the USA. I believe they tend to be safer than those made abroad. My one dog has gotten extremely sick from eating some treats that were made overseas, but never from those made in the USA. Best of all, my dogs love the treats. Ordered three bags before and going to order more!

My dog loves these treats, but I can buy them locally and get a better deal. Also, the treats that cam in the 16 ounce package are smaller than the ones I buy in the 8 ounce package. I don't know if that's a consistent difference, but it's noticeably smaller in the package I purchased from Amazon.

Our Jack Russell Mags uses this when it's that time. It stays on her pretty well. She hated wearing it at first and would stick her but up at us to take it off. We kept it on her and it stays on her pretty good. She's a pretty active dog and our other Jack keeps trying to steal it. Anyway, I recommend it if you can find it for about 15 bucks. It'll stay pretty good if you get the right size. Mags is about 20 lbs and is a parson jack russell terrier. We use the medium for her. Fits pretty good.

I bought 1 for my Service Dog for when she is in heat, I buy Feminine Hygiene pads (Poise) & use them with this bladder control garment for doggy heat & it works like a charm, only problem was that when it was in the wash my doggy had to be locked in the bathroom until the laundry was done so I bought an extra. Our 14-yr old puppy has Cushing's Disease, which has as one of its symptoms, urinary incontinence. We need a handy way of preventing "accidents" inside the house. This, combined with either doggy napkins, baby diapers, or feminine napkins does a pretty good job of "protection". The pants are easy to put on, easy to wash, and seem pretty sturdy, and they stay on. Recommend them if you have this kind of development with your dogs.

We bought these poochie bells for our 50-lb, 1 year old mixed breed dog. She is house broken but was having a few accidents in the house because we weren't picking up on her signals that she had to go. She would just sit by our our feet or bother us but we thought she just wanted attention so we got these bells to help let her notify us in a more audible way. I followed the directions on the package, i taught her touch and treated her when she touched her nose to the bells. Then, each time we take her outside, we say "outside, touch the bells" and if she doesn't touch it with her nose, we do it for her and take her out. She picked it up after a few days. Now, when she touches the bells, we know she has to go. I've heard of other dogs abusing the bells to just go outside to play but our dog hasn't done that. We don't hang them on the door knob because it would be ringing whenever we came in and left the house, we placed it on a hook near the door at the dog's level, so it only sounds when she needs it. We kept it out of her reach the first few days when we started to keep her from abusing it but now it stays hung on the hook all the time. We still take her out in the morning and before bed without her prompting it but its great for all the times in between. To keep our dog from scratching the door and glass, we decided to give these a try. Upon arrival, we hung them on the door and followed the instructions. Within a few days our dog was "ringing the bell" to go out! Simply amazing. The only drawback is that the bells swing widly when the door is opened and you have to be careful that you don't slam the door on them. It is not a product defect -blame physics!
I use size XL for my 55lb boxer girl. Neither the XL or the L fit well straight out of the package. I also bought iron-on velcro to extend the velcro already on the diaper; It makes it fit around the legs and stay on(and in my opinion is totally necessary). I also sewed the tail hole closed since her tail was too short and incorrectly positioned to utilize the tail hole. A large probably could've fit if my dog didn't need diaper liners/pads, but with the pads you definitely need a little extra room. I use Tena Heavy and Long. They're about $10-12 for a 42 pack. In combination with the pads and the velcro, these cover-ups are great. They launder easily, and my dog doesn't mind them as much as other brands. They're lightweight and comfortable, yet do the job.

Read the reviews and thought this might be the ticket for my older Dobe/Rott who is a new diabetic. No-didn't fit well. The XL shows a golden on the label but I can't believe that this product would fit a lab or a golden. My dog is more of a dobe build. IMHO product needs a better fit around the legs. We also tried the disposable diapers by same co.--not a good fit either. I purchased the Poise pads (recommended by another reviewer) to go inside the washabe cover-up. Our experience was not a good one-do not buy the poise pads here until you try one package first. Go to Walmart or Walgreens. these work great with dollar store maxi pads an economical alternative to dog pads. the sizing is off (my medium, 53 lb dog border collie size) fits better in the size large.
This harness works great. My dog did pull a lot less when using it. He has sensitive skin, however, and it rubbed his arm pits raw. I had to switch to a different harness lined with fleece.
