When walking three dogs they became to easily tangled. I do not know if it is due to the shorter length of the straps but I suspect this is the reason.

I like the size of these treats about the size of a quarter. They smell delicious I was almost tempted to eat one myself when I opened the first bag. My 15lb Jack Russell Terrier loves them. I put 4 or 5 in my pocket when we go walking and they are perfect for the occassional bribe or reward when she is walking well. They are made from healthy ingredients and I don't feel I am giving her junk when I give her one. We love these biscuits, number one, because they are vegetarian, as are we and our dogs, AND number two, because they are small. Out dogs have an iron clad union contract. A treat is expected after each trip outside (and they go out in the yard often), after getting brushed, and after each eye drop our one dog gets in the morning. Four different drops, administered at 10 minute intervals, all for his congenital glacoma. The other dog just happens to be around at that time. :-) Bigger biscuits just disappear too fast, and our mutts would turn into blimps if they ate them this often. THESE biscuits are economical and the pups like them just fine.

My five pound toy Poodle loves these! She is on a low fat diet due to some pancreas problems (don't ask) and these just fit the bill! Of course I break these in half to keep her weight just right. I almost want to snatch one myself, they smell so good.

For anyone getting a rope collar for the first time, my suggestion is to get a little larger than before especially if your dog has long fur or lots of fur.

I prefer rope collars because I have large northern breed dogs and don't like how chain collars tear the fur around the neck. And, its pretty easy to wash the collar with just soap and water when the oils from the fur gets them coated..

In the past, the main problem with rope collars has been the clasp of the rope where it doubles back onto itself to attach the metal ring. If the clasp is "clunky", the metal ring gets hung up on it and the the dog chokes and the fur gets tangled. This company's metal clasp is the best I've found. Perfect? No.., but good.

Our 10 year old lab mix started having problemswith his hip joints. He has always been an active dog and watching him lay around and not want to interact was hard to see. We've been feeding our Bichon Zuke's hip action treats for years. He gets one each day after breakfast and expects it. He has had two knee operations which was one reason we looked for a treat targeted for joints, etc.

I only rated a 4 because I have no idea if the Zuke's hip action really does work in terms of improved mobility. Yes, he loves the treats; yes, he walks every day; and yes, we're hoping the Zuke's is working to aid his mobility. Nevertheless, he loves the Zuke's treat and we like the fact that they're made in the USA and are natural. Just note of caution for Bichon owners with urinary stone issues; don't feed a Bichon beef products. The chicken is great.

I've updated my rating to a 5 because I recently took our dog to the vet who confirmed, at the age of 12 going on 13, he has no arthritis. In fact, both front and back legs have full mobility. I do attribute part of this success to his walking every day but also to Zuke's hip action treats. Digby's had a Zuke's hip action treat for years and this treat is the only joint action remedy we feed him in addition to Nupro All Natural Dog Suppplement for his other nutrients, minerals, and vitamins. While Zuke's hip action treats are not the only reason he is doing so well, I believe this treat in conjunction with exercise and the proper diet have significantly contributed to his overall well being!

Knowing his mother's agony, my son let his dog remain at home when he moved out, and, already spoiled, Raider became the center of our world. I've only had the collar for a week and only now had the chance to use it in the field ... all I can say is WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I should say that my dog already knew basic commands like "Come", "Sit", "Stay", "Heel", and "Down" but getting him to do those things off-lease was a real challenge. With the radio collar, things are a snap. Games of fetch are now actually fun for both of us. He used to run after the ball, catch it, but then proceed to not come back with it. Prompts of treats didn't help past the first one or two throws. After only two "tickles" on the lowest setting (and we really are talking a "tickle" here ... I tested it on myself and the lowest setting is far less than you might get from a shock from walking on synthetic or wook carpeting), he now makes a bee line back to me after only getting the tone prompt. With only one tickle at the lowest setting, he's even heeling off lease as we walk home from throwing the ball. Truly ... if you have a dog who already knows basic commands and you'd like to be able to take him off-lease for games (or hunting as the product description states) this is a wonderful product. This is not a substitute for training but is a very effective supplement to it. All my dog needed was the reinforcement that I meant the commands I was giving him even off-lease.

An additional kudos to the Petsafe company ... the originally shipped transmitter (the part that looks like a little FRS radio) was defective making the set essentially useless. One call to Petsafe and they replaced the transmitter with a new one with no problelm.

I had owned one before (the 400) and this one is much better, better range and my dog really listens to this. I am not cruel in using this I mainly use the short zap button which is enough to remind her to listen and I don't have to turn it up onto the max setting. She is a very strong willed dog and refuses to listen sometimes and needs to be reminded. Many times the tone alone is enough to get her attention. The charge lasts longer on this unit than my old one also, expensive but a very good buy if you need help in controlling a strong willed dog. Just be careful, don't let the kids use this (they may deliver too much shock and hold the buttons too long) and make sure you are not cruel in it's use. This is a tool which if used right will make a world of difference in you dog's behavior. There are times when you need control but you can't catch up to the dog or it is too far away to want to listen. I am happy with this purchase and would reccommend it.

I've had the Sport Dog training collar for 2 weeks now. It was a replacement for a "cheap" ($100) one from W.Mart that used watch batteries on the collar and a 9V on the transmitter. After buying more batteries than I care to admit, I finally bought this one. Both the receiver and transmitter batteries recharge by a wall plug (at the same time) and the unit is waterproof which is great. The dog responds well to one of the low settings and has quickly gotten used to the tone to avoid the zap. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating was that the batteries need to be recharged every other day if you leave it on. It's not an issue, I would just prefer to have larger capicity batteries. Add that to the lifetime warranty and it has been a good deal so far.

I was looking for a training collar for my large dogs. I bought this along with the Add-a-dog collar because I had been told good things about this brand. When I received the product, however, I was disappointed to find that there was only one mode available when you had two collars attached. In this mode, I could only shock each dogI could not warn them with a pager or tone. While I think this product would work great with just one dog, (there are a lot of different settings), it is not a great two dog system. Also, to switch back and forth between one dog use and two dog use, you have to insert a sharp point in the back of the transmitter to reset the whole unit. I decided to go with something better.

I use size XL for my 55lb boxer girl. Neither the XL or the L fit well straight out of the package. I also bought iron-on velcro to extend the velcro already on the diaper; It makes it fit around the legs and stay on(and in my opinion is totally necessary). I also sewed the tail hole closed since her tail was too short and incorrectly positioned to utilize the tail hole. A large probably could've fit if my dog didn't need diaper liners/pads, but with the pads you definitely need a little extra room. I use Tena Heavy and Long. They're about $10-12 for a 42 pack. In combination with the pads and the velcro, these cover-ups are great. They launder easily, and my dog doesn't mind them as much as other brands. They're lightweight and comfortable, yet do the job.

I have an elderly border collie who has developed incontinence. These work great for saving the dog beds from having to be washed constantly. I bought "L" which should have fit her according to the package sizing but they are too small. I'm going to order the "XL" and those should fit perfectly. Other than the size issue I'm pleased with the product.

Read the reviews and thought this might be the ticket for my older Dobe/Rott who is a new diabetic. No-didn't fit well. The XL shows a golden on the label but I can't believe that this product would fit a lab or a golden. My dog is more of a dobe build. IMHO product needs a better fit around the legs. We also tried the disposable diapers by same co.--not a good fit either. I purchased the Poise pads (recommended by another reviewer) to go inside the washabe cover-up. Our experience was not a good one-do not buy the poise pads here until you try one package first. Go to Walmart or Walgreens. We ended up putting our dog on medication (phenylpropanolamine)after trying Estroil (did not work and the dosing schedule ugghh).

My husband is a disabled veteran, and we recently got our puppy into training, working towards being a service dog. We have been looking into various harnesses and were staggered by the cost of most of them. The puppy is still growing, so we needed something adjustable and with removable patches. We had just about given up and decided to wait until he's full-grown before buying a harness when we found this one. It's exactly what we needed! Adjustable, removable patches, and they have a huge variety of replacement patches. We also really like the reflective strap across the front.

The harness is sturdy and seems well-made. My only complaint is that the plastic buckle on the girth strap seems flimsy, but we've been using the harness and the buckle held. Don't be misled by the fact that it's size "Medium." Our pup is 80 lbs. now, with about another 20 lbs. to grow, and it fits him very well. Overall, we are VERY happy with this harness. I would absolutely recommend it!

I returned this harness due to the craftmanship as it could not fit right on my type of dog(s). It WAS heavy duty, solid, and strong...those are it's scoring points. The dogs I have are SHEPHERDS. They have V-shaped chest cavities, and no matter how I adjusted the Velcro, it would NOT stay sturdy or straight. Too much slippage. It was obvious that this type of harness is specifically designed for LABRADORS ONLY and such breeds WITH A BARREL-SHAPED CHEST CAVITY. So if you are reading this, save yourself time, money, and aggravation and listen to my advise and don't be a dummy by ignoring it. If you have a dog with a barrel shaped chest cavity, it will likely work great, otherwise, NOT. I will say that the company did not give me any problems with the return, however keep in mind that their return policy is VERY short, so if you do not react right away for your return, you might eat it on the purchase.

This product is excellent value for the price. It is very well constructed with solid materials and heavy use stitching. My only caveat is to carefully measure your dog. I accidentally ordered one that is too small for our service dog, but luckily this harness is almost perfect for our 7 month old dog in training.

If I could add one more thing to it, I would have a sewn on clear pouch to slip my dog's certification card in. This way it wouldn't have to dangle from the D-Ring.

First, I have a champion chewer who can shred anything to pieces in minutes. This ball has survived, so super extra points there. Second, she's a Lab and loves to play fetch and this ball works perfectly. But best of all is when she's walking around with it in her mouth, it's absolutely hysterical making it fun for owner and pet.

My dogs are very hard on toys and have ripped apart every toy I have bought them (even the ones labeled as durable and unbreakable). They also have a tendency to destroy tennis balls in a matter of seconds.
