Love the collar! The only thing we can say that should be different is that the directions do not say that the collars and the remote need to be at least 3 to 4 foot apart to program/sink them. We had to call the company to find that out. Other than that, no complaints! Works great!

Great value, much better than buying one collar for the same price through another company. I have a st bernard and a mastiff and they work extremely well.. only two downfalls, the instructions are terrible, which I read on other reviews but didnt realize how difficult it would be to figure out.. and when you want to correct one dog instead of both it takes very quick thinking.. other than that they work very well and are definitely worth the price! and being able to charge both of the collars at the same time is an awesome feature instead of having to buy batteries all the time..

Haven't used the product yet but it only came with one collar. I was under the impression that it came with 2 collars.Edited 2/1/13 Received second collar due to shipping error. Haven't tried both together but been working with one. Some times the collar will beep and vibrate at random times, I have the bark off and beep to 1 but it will beep 3-5 times with out me pushing button, battery is full. Hopefully its not going to happen much more. I don't know if I can trust it.

this is the 3rd lot of collars i have purchased. The idea of the training collars is good certainly saves yelling out and if your dog is at full bolt they have got the ability to pull the dog up . The other brands i purchased although they said water proof, they failed within a week due to moisture in the reciever. The aetertek at-219s has prooved to be water proof to this date (3weeks of use) however 1 of the collars stopped recharging after a week and is now running intermitantly and is turning its self off at regular intervals. I have been onto the supplier who responded quickly and said they would send another reciever out, i am still waiting for it to arrive. The ability of being able to use the collar with the remote or on auto mode is great, but they do tend to go of when the dogs start playing so i have stopped using that function.

So i think they are certainly a great idea, but i do wish they worked properly.

Sorry, I found this product very hard to program. The instructions were terrible and I finally returned the collar for a refund. At the suggestion of a area hunting dog trainer, I purchased a Tri-Tronics Sport Basic G3 trainer and it works great. Easy to program and easy to operate. It cost about $100 more than the Aetertek, but was worth it to me.

This is the only harness that we have found effective for walking our Rhodesian Ridgeback and which is made of solid/strong materials by design. These are a good size for smaller dogs and our dogs love them. They have a really strong meaty smell that the dogs are really attracted to. We usually break these in half and give a half to each dog and they are very happy with that. Our dogs weigh about 25 pounds and it is sometimes hard to find smaller treats that they really love. These are great.

I needed a gate that would block my 10lb yorkie and 4lb bichon frise from going to the carpeted areas of the house while we are away, just in case (moved to a new house with new carpet and didn't want to take any chances!). I needed a gate that would fit a 7ft opening. I was quite surprised when I came across this item after looking at several other gates. This is the only one I found that didn't need an extra 'extention' piece purchased. This gate was 1/3 the cost of all other gates as well. I figured I'd give it a try!

Pros certainly serves its purpose, GREAT value, easy to assemble, and not bad looking. It's a simple design, no thrills or frills; but isn't an eye-sore either! (I thought about painting or staining in the future!). Gate is easy to de-latch and put away when not needed.

Cons assembles with eye hooks that stick out from the wall about 1-2". I can see where this would be harmful if one were to brush up against if gate was down and put up. We haven't had any issues, but our doorway is large enough not to walk right next to the wall. This may be harmful for little ones that roam the house.

All in all, I wasn't expecting much for the price, and thought this would be a temporary thing until I could afford a better gate... however, I have concluded this is all I need and am very pleased... this exceeded all my expectations.

I wrote the help desk at amazon because this item was supposed to reach 96 inches. with the panel fully open it was maybe the 53 inches. Amazon wrote back they had no info to give me, contact the manufacturer. Ok, sure, I will contact the manufacturer BUT as I was searching to find a way to "contact seller", I looked closer at the picture and it is showing 2 of the panels. I only got one in the box. I like the product, just feel shorted by amazon not being there to help me out here.

We have a 2-year-old daughter and a 75lb. I really wish that the seller would have posted the width between each slat. I was a little concerned about getting this gate because we are using it for our tiny 2 pound morkie puppy. After getting it all installed, she found out that she could squeeze through the slats, making the gate useless. We went to the store and bought some fabric to weave through the slats to prevent her from escaping but it's still not perfect. If I had to do it over, I would have purchased another gate.

So, fair warning if you have a tiny puppy. They can and will escape through the slats!

I've tried harness after harness for my dog. While some harnesses worked alright by my standards, they still allowed too much pulling for my girlfriend to walk our dog. Our dog is a high energy boxer/pit mix, so she is quite strong.

From the recommendation of a trainer, we decided to try out the gentle leader. It's amazing! It's almost like power steering for your dog. It's easier to walk the dog and keep the head up so they will follow you. Since it slides over the face it's also tough for the dog to pull on it. Also, the way it is designed, the dog is still allowed to completely use their mouths, so this isn't anything like a muzzle (but some people you walk by may assume it is)

When we first tried the gentle leader, the dog didn't like it because it went over her face. However, after some time she got used to it and it's no problem anymore. If you're having trouble getting your dog to wear it, try holding a treat between the loop while you put it on...this has worked to get my dog used to wearing the gentle leader.

My owner says I pull alot! Which is true but its not my fault my previous owners never taught me leash manners. My person says I've been heeling wonderfully on leash and the transition to a flat collar is going smoothly. She says I still need my gentle leader for the places where my attention span is less than stellar like the park and the pet store but I am getting better and well on my way to passing my therapy dog test on a flat collar. The first gentle leader I had lasted 5 months before some one left it on the bed and repurposed it with my cattle dog sense of creativity but my second one has lasted about 3 months and it looks almost brand new with daily wear! The Bungee Pupee is a great product to use on a dog that pulls! It is very strong and the resistance prevents walking the dog from hurting your arm if the dog pulls you. The 3ft has a nice length but still puts you in control. i reccommend this product for large strong dogs. It has worked for me!

Pup-head Portable Indoor Dog Potty - Replacement Grass Regular 20"x 30"

I ordered this at the same time I ordered the Puphead Dog Potty so that I could have a replacement while washing/ drying the grass. This fits size-wise, but the grass is thicker and sharper than the original. My dog was starting to use the dog potty, but then refused to even walk on it when I put this one on. Put a real snag on the training.

The only grass replacement I've been able to find that appears to not be an imitation "Pup Head". So far I've wasted $95 on other mats including "potty patch" that claim to be the original grass potty mat. They lie. Nasty plastic grass is what I got from the others. This company's grass mat is the closest to real grass AND actually fits the tray the way it's suppose to. From ordering to arriving was pretty quick & we are happy to have new mats that don't stink. We got 5 years out of the 2 original mats by washing and alternating every 2 weeks (for a 5lb pup) and sprinkling baking soda on the tray & bottom of mat--so purchasing 2 mats at once really helps so that one can completely dry in between washings. Also---don't try any of those enzyme cleaners out there---in an attempt to use the old mats longer I finally broke down to use an enzyme cleaner & even after rewashing with dish detergent (our regular wash soap) & multiple rinses we couldn't get the enzyme out & it irritated our pups feet so bad she began to chew her nails off! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that the construction doesn't seem to be quite as sturdy as the 1st mats---but I won't really be able to tell until we wash multiple times. This is the best.

After blowing through just about every device in the book to get my young, drivey American Staffordshire Terrier to walk without dragging me or my husband down the street, I can reliably recommend this product as the best of all of them. It doesn't irritate the skin like a pinch collar does, and it's more effective, because it doesn't rely on a pinch that some dogs (like mine) can't even feel. It directs the dog, and they don't seem to be able to resist.

I also tried the Easy Walk, mostly because I gave my first Sense-ation harness away to someone who was rescuing a pitbull puppy, and Easy Walk was the only front-attachment harness my local pet store carried. Now I'm back online ordering the Sense-ation. It fits better, has fewer moving parts (no shoulder buckle and no martingale front) and the webbing seems to be softer and more durable.

This is the harness used and preferred at our local Animal Care and Control in San Francisco. Because the clip controller is at the front of the chest it makes it very easy to control the dog. Even a big dog walked by a volunteer is in control of that volunteer; if he lunges at another dog or to get ahead he will end up flopping over before he pulls his walker off his or her feet. We use it by clipping the harness to the collar (we use a martingale clip collar). This is the best!

Although I do really like this product, especially compared to a similar knock off that we bought at a fair last year, it still does not prevent a large dog from dragging you. Granted, I have two very large Alaskan Malamutes (100 lbs and 120 lbs) and I'm very petite, so if they want to get at something, they will drag me no matter what I'm walking them with; although it might be with much less force. When they are not trying to get at another dog/animal, they are much easier to handle with this harness. Overall, I do like this product and the only way I will walk them is with one of these harnesses.

We have been using the Sense-ation harness for one year now and it has worked very well with correcting our dog's tendency to pull ahead of us as we walk or run. We had, previously, used two different brands of head collars (e.g., Gentle Leader) with mixed success: uncomfortable and jumpy in the beginning, settled down wonderfully for a few months, then slight but uncharacteristic "rebellious" behavior and willingness to tug back on the leash despite attachment to head collar. Our Labradoodle would also paw her face over and over with the head collar on and for a while when removed. I would surmise that it was irritating her.

However, she, immediately, took to the Sense-ation harness and did not show any resistance or irritation to wearing it. Not tight, not loose and she seemed not to even notice that she was wearing it. Holding a short leash was enough for her to "sense" the tight leash needed to be slackened, so she would pull ahead very little or not at all. Whether it was discomfort or other sensation she felt, I do not know. But it works... right from the get-go!

She responds to a curt but not loud, "Hey!" So, in the beginning, just a slight tug on the leash while saying "Hey" was enough to "tell" her to come back a bit and pull abreast rather than forging ahead. After a while, "Hey" was enough. Every so often, if she keeps abreast, a gentle "Good Girl" reinforces the behavior. With squirrels, I wouldn't place a bet yet as she displays distinct hunting behaviour (stalking, pointing).

We clean/disinfect the collar by:

-soaking 10-15 minutes in a mixture of water (1 qt), dishwashing liquid (1/2 tsp), distilled white vinegar (2 tbsp), household bleach (2 tbsp) (do outdoors if good ventilation is not available)

-vigorously shaking/agitating for about a minute while soaking

-rinsing well in fresh cold water

-hanging dry (in front of a fan works well)

I have a bouncy, 60 pound boxer dog who needed a little more guidance during our walks. At first, I was really excited about this harness...previously relying on a choke collar was no longer effective, as she would choke herself trying to charge at other dogs. The harness seemed to work well, making it easier for me to control her and she no longer tried to walk in front of me. But now, just a couple weeks later, I am seeing areas of wear on her body. Most notably, there is a rough spot on the back of her right elbow where the large plastic buckle rubs and there are large spots on her shoulder blades (where the fur is beginning to fall out) where the front strap rubs. I would say that I have the harness adjust to a loose setting, so I am disappointed to see these areas starting to develop. I bought this harness because it claims to be made specifically for breeds with shorter hair/sensitive skin...yet it seems that the only strap thats softer is the belly strap, and the rest of the harness is made of rough nylon. Guess I'm still on the hunt for the perfect harness...

We have an elderly dog who has trouble holding his urine throughout the course of a work day. For a while we were using the throw-away pee pee pads. Those suckers were sending us to the poor house, too expensive! We got four of these whelping pads and they cover the entire den floor! I am a hobby breeder of miniature Australian shepherds and I find these whelping pads excellent to use under my x-pen until puppies are old enough to put on the ground for potty training outside. I use a roll of inexpensive vinyl flooring over my hardwoods and the pad next. Urine soaks up and keeps the puppies from getting wet and it is easy to pick up their poops. I have more than one so I can wash one and trade out a clean one. I can easily pick up the pads as well to sanitize the flooring underneath although it is not so necessary since nothing soaks through. I put a small amount of Odoban in the rinse and the pads come out smelling nice and fresh. Remember not to use dryer sheets!

This has been a great product!!! I was very happy with the reviews so that is why I got it. My female dog just had her first litter on this pad a few days ago, 12 puppies and not one leak!!! I hadn't even had time to wash it yet, it arrived the day before she had them. I have washed it everyday. I purchased this collar to go along with my system. I use the system with two collars for my two Rat Terriers. So far everything is performing as described. As a rule we charge the collar every night and replace them on the dogs in the morning. We have left the collars on a couple days and the red light comes on indicating a low battery. As the dogs learn and the collar is used less the collar may last more than this but for now we just charge them every night. Setting up the system to use the two collars was very easy and use is easy as well. I have noticed my male needs a higehr stimulation level so if you have a larger dog or a very stubborn dog this collar stimulation may not be adequate.

Work in perfect harmony with the main controller.. I have no complaints about this item except one... It doesn't hold a charge as well as I would expect.

We bought this for our dogs to stay in our large back yard without a fence. They are older dogs, and were starting to wander into the neighbours' yard. The product worked okay, but must really be followed exactly. WE have about an acre of land, and it is a complete pain in the ass to bury the wire. You have to dig up a small trench all around the area you'd like to set up as the boundary. Then, you end the wire at a power source. We ran ours in through a basement window. We tried to take a short cut with the training aspects by leaving the flags up and hoping the dogs got the idea that if you get close enough to the flags, you get zapped. They didnt. My one poor dog thought the grass was getting him. He peed off the deck for a week! We ended up waiting a while so things could go back to normal, and then we'd train them properly. My boyfriend ended up hitting the window wire accidently with the weed whacker, and we never got around to digging up the wire to splice it and repair it.

The actual product worked well and gives all the information one needs to set up their yard and dogs properly. It just takes a lot of work, and we were obviously too lazy.

We have two 20 pound dogs on an acre of very wooded land. I ran the perimeter wire around the whole lot and just laid it on the ground and used landscape staples to hold it in place. They loved to roam the neighborhood, but we didn't want a physical fence, so reluctantly I ordered this after reading reviews and talking to a friend who has it. I didn't want them to get zapped, but I also knew it wasn't safe for them to be running around the neighborhood and I wanted them to be able to enjoy the whole yard.

The other thing I don't like, is there's a boundary "zone". Keep that in mind when setting up the system. The zone is about 4-12 feet wide depending on the setting, so you can really lose some space that they are able to explore, especially on the sides of the house or if you have a partial fence you have to attach the wire to.

For two weeks, I trained them on the perimeter using the flags, etc. One of them was good, the other one (the "dumb one", lol) didn't seem to be getting it. I decided they were ready to learn the hard way. The smart one got zapped 3xone in each of the escape areas. The dumb one got zapped probably 10 times. He knows all the boundary areas now, but it took a while. I felt so bad for him. After I knew they were trained, I no longer put the collars on themwe've had it for 6 months and they only wore the collars the first month. I've had the smart one break out once, but the dumb one won't go near the boundaries. When either of them get zapped, they scream and jump, so I KNOW it hurts, and I don't like it.

All in all, it does work. But I wish I had purchased a system that had a vibration only setting instead of a shock. I have since purhased a remote control system for them because they were harrassing some wildlife, and it has a vibration setting and it is just as effective but without the screaming or pain. I know there are systems out there that have the vibrate, so if you have small or sensitive dogs, I would suggest you go for that instead.

We bought this fence for our black lab and installed it ourselves when she was about 9 months old. We have a half acre total but just fenced the back yard. It was easy to install ourselves. She learned very quickly (she's smart) so training was easy. It was well worth the money. We got estimates on a chain link fence and I think this was the way to go. The collar hardly ever needs to be charged and gives you plenty of warning by beeping orange instead of green. Yes, she has run through the fence. But I think every time it was my fault. I'm too nice sometimes and don't make the collar tight enough. Sometimes she gets a little shaggy and I have to trim her fur where the collar makes contact. If I fix those problems it works well and she will stay in the yard no matter what's in the woods behind our house...deer, cat, skunk...

One thing I would've done differently is put the control box somewhere else out of sight. Right now it's in the front foyer, I wish I had put it in the den off to the side of the front door. It is a bit of an eyesore.

It works great on my apartment patio. I picked this partly because of its size which is bigger than other solutions. Even though my dog is only 10lbs, it likes to circle around and search for a perfect spot to do her business. It took her 3-4 days to get used to it. I was worry about smell since I chose the synthetic grass option. So far so good! I rinse it with 3-4 large pot of water once a week and I'm surprised it works well. It also looks great on the patio.

I bought it without the real grass which might have been a mistake. I even put another dog's poo on it to make it "more attractive" for my dog. But the best he would do is pee on the side of it, not on top of it. and he wouldn't poo on it at all. It turned out to be an expensive mistake. I ended up fencing in part of my yard to solve the problem.

The Porch Potty is well made and I can't say anything bad about it other than you may want to pay the extra money to get the real grass for the start up.

I am over all very pleased with it so far after a couple months. Grass is the best that I have seen and used. Smell is not so bad but we clean our patch with Hot water daily. I really wish they would make one a little larger since my poor American Bulldog who is large and old has a hard time making sure her business lands on the patch and not the porch.

I switched to this Porch Potty after dealing with 'The Potty Patch' for a year. I live in a high rise building with an anxious English Bulldog. The Porch Potty is big, and provides a lot of wiggle room. Sometimes my dog will circle the thing a couple of times before he chooses a spot. The cleanup system on this is simple(especially if you have been using 'the potty patch').Since my dog is high up on a balcony, we can't use the hose system, so I got the large dish that they advertise. I change it daily and it is never even close to a quarter full, for one dog. I use a jug with a spout on it to water down the potty grass, with hot dish soapy water. It really is just a few steps to clean up. It is a great quality product. I am very glad I decided to purchase this. I saw it in the SkyMall magazine, and the price really put me off, but I couldn't deny that the cleanup system on this one was so much easier than 'the potty patch' we were using. It is well worth the money if you live in a building like this one, and plan to use it for a good while. We are on the 12th floor, so getting him out so many times a day was a challenge, especially in winter.

I saw that one commenter said their dog wouldn't use it. I had that problem in the very beginning when I first purchased 'the potty patch'. He would pee on it no problem, but he refused to poo on it for a couple of days, until one day he had to go bad enough, he ran out there and did it. We made such a big deal about it and praised him that he continued. He has been pooing on fake grass now for well over a year.
