Rechargeable Training Collar

The collar works great, but I feel the lowest setting is too strong ... I have a small/medium sized terrier and i've tried it on myself as well. The shock is too strong that I don't use it... If there is 6 shock settings, they should try to have a wider range to accomodate all sizes of dogs. This might be better suited for a larger dog.

I got this cause it has the vibration button on it. I have a 5 month old great dane puppy that (the size of a normal full grown dog) kept jumping on people. We go to the dog park everyday and a couple of the ladies that go as well just found out that they are pregnent and I didn't want her to hurt them cause she was jumping. I have only shocked her once cause the vibration didnt work at first. She learned to not jump on people with in 2 days. The only I didn't like was there wasn't a difference in the shock levels. I know cause before I ever used it I tested each button on my leg.

Bought these for camping, to use to keep the dogs leashed, but liked the two clasps, so we could hook them directly to our camp side tie up with out have to keep switching between chain and leash.

They are decent.

The one clasp broke when one of our dogs tried to take off after a rabbit, luckly we were standing nearby and were able to step on the leash to keep her from taking off.

If your using them as just a walking leash, they aren't too bad, but the type of material makes them uncomfortable to hold for extended periods, and I like to wrap the leash around my hand when there's "distractions" too keep the dog closer to me.

Can't really do that with these leashes.

They served their purpose this summer, but will be looking for something new for this year.

Would not buy again.

These treats are excellent for training or just giving my dog a treat now and then. They are low calorie and all natural so I can give many treats a day without worrying about my dog getting fat or having digestive issues. They also smell amazing (mostly like cinnamon). They are very dense and not crumbly so you can easily put them in your pocket without getting stinky treat crumbs everywhere. I really think they are the perfect treat for my boston terrier. The only bummer is that they are kind of expensive and I wish you could buy bigger bags but I think they are worth the price.

This leash is very sturdy and the handle is very comfortable, but the 'extendible' aspect of it was not good for us. Our pup gets wound up a bit with a straightforward leash and the extra length just made things more complicated. We do still have it as a back-up. It might work well for others and since the construction is nice, I will give it four stars.

We bought this for our dogs to stay in our large back yard without a fence. They are older dogs, and were starting to wander into the neighbours' yard. The product worked okay, but must really be followed exactly. WE have about an acre of land, and it is a complete pain in the ass to bury the wire. You have to dig up a small trench all around the area you'd like to set up as the boundary. Then, you end the wire at a power source. We ran ours in through a basement window. We tried to take a short cut with the training aspects by leaving the flags up and hoping the dogs got the idea that if you get close enough to the flags, you get zapped. They didnt. My one poor dog thought the grass was getting him. He peed off the deck for a week! We ended up waiting a while so things could go back to normal, and then we'd train them properly. My boyfriend ended up hitting the window wire accidently with the weed whacker, and we never got around to digging up the wire to splice it and repair it.

The actual product worked well and gives all the information one needs to set up their yard and dogs properly. It just takes a lot of work, and we were obviously too lazy.

We have two 20 pound dogs on an acre of very wooded land. I ran the perimeter wire around the whole lot and just laid it on the ground and used landscape staples to hold it in place. They loved to roam the neighborhood, but we didn't want a physical fence, so reluctantly I ordered this after reading reviews and talking to a friend who has it. I didn't want them to get zapped, but I also knew it wasn't safe for them to be running around the neighborhood and I wanted them to be able to enjoy the whole yard.

The other thing I don't like, is there's a boundary "zone". Keep that in mind when setting up the system. The zone is about 4-12 feet wide depending on the setting, so you can really lose some space that they are able to explore, especially on the sides of the house or if you have a partial fence you have to attach the wire to.

For two weeks, I trained them on the perimeter using the flags, etc. One of them was good, the other one (the "dumb one", lol) didn't seem to be getting it. I decided they were ready to learn the hard way. The smart one got zapped 3xone in each of the escape areas. The dumb one got zapped probably 10 times. He knows all the boundary areas now, but it took a while. I felt so bad for him. After I knew they were trained, I no longer put the collars on themwe've had it for 6 months and they only wore the collars the first month. I've had the smart one break out once, but the dumb one won't go near the boundaries. When either of them get zapped, they scream and jump, so I KNOW it hurts, and I don't like it.

All in all, it does work. But I wish I had purchased a system that had a vibration only setting instead of a shock. I have since purhased a remote control system for them because they were harrassing some wildlife, and it has a vibration setting and it is just as effective but without the screaming or pain. I know there are systems out there that have the vibrate, so if you have small or sensitive dogs, I would suggest you go for that instead.

We bought this fence for our black lab and installed it ourselves when she was about 9 months old. We have a half acre total but just fenced the back yard. It was easy to install ourselves. She learned very quickly (she's smart) so training was easy. It was well worth the money. We got estimates on a chain link fence and I think this was the way to go. The collar hardly ever needs to be charged and gives you plenty of warning by beeping orange instead of green. Yes, she has run through the fence. But I think every time it was my fault. I'm too nice sometimes and don't make the collar tight enough. Sometimes she gets a little shaggy and I have to trim her fur where the collar makes contact. If I fix those problems it works well and she will stay in the yard no matter what's in the woods behind our house...deer, cat, skunk...

One thing I would've done differently is put the control box somewhere else out of sight. Right now it's in the front foyer, I wish I had put it in the den off to the side of the front door. It is a bit of an eyesore.

I am very pleased with this crate. It erected easily within moments, is extremely sturdy and big enough for all but, possibly, the giant breeds. My Rottweiler can lie down stretched out, if that is her preference, and can stand up without hunching over. She loves this crate far better than her plastic airline type crate as she has better visibility and I believe that she feels less confined. It is also much cooler in the heat of the summer than the plastic crate.

The only caveat that I would add is, if your pooch is an escape artist, you might want to put an additional clip or two on the door. The fasteners are fine for most dogs but I know my Border Collie would figure a way to open that door in no time flat. This is not a major criticism, by any means---I heartily recommend this crate. Also, the price is good when you consider the free shipping. I've seen this item listed for much less money but by the time you add the shipping (this crate is heavy!), you will pay the same or more. Also, it arrived in about a week so no complaints there.

This is a nice dog crate. It folds up easily to transport. It includes a divider, so that one can adjust the size of the crate as the puppy grows. The divider is a bit of a pain to install and adjust, but it works well. The crate also has a pull out tray at the bottom. The tray is easy to remove for cleaning. The crate also has some removable handles. They work well when the crate is set up and you want to move it across the room, but I haven't found a good way to attach the handles when the crate is folded up. Overall, I am happy with the purchase, and delivery was very fast.

I was disappointed to find many sharp and rough edges inside the cage. As I purchased this for a puppy, I was very concerned that she would get injured inside the cage.

The cage is sturdy and I was excited at first to see it, but after assembling it, I reached inside the cage to measure the bottom pan and tore my shirt on one the edges.

I'm sorry, I just cannot recommend this product.
