I have been using an elite-tek ET-9868 remote dog training collar for a year and was very satisfied. I decided to buy this training collar because of the extra features. I train dogs and I liked the anti-bark function and the ability to correct two dogs at the same time. I had some trouble programming the device, but after that was done, I initially liked how it worked. I turned of the anti-bark the first day because my dog was corrected at time I didn't want her to be corrected. This is at no fault of the device, but if my dog would get enthousiastic while playing with a ball and would start to bark I didn't want her to get shocked. The second day the receivers started to go off without us touching the remote. This was extremely traumatic to my sensitive dog and I returned the item. I have decided to continue to use the ET-9868 (now Aetertek 216S-550S) which I highly recommend.

It is great to have the four in one remote. It can be used for one dog or two different dogs!

Premier Nite Lite Day-Glo Lead in Green, 3/4" x 53"

Bought these for camping, to use to keep the dogs leashed, but liked the two clasps, so we could hook them directly to our camp side tie up with out have to keep switching between chain and leash.

They are decent.

The one clasp broke when one of our dogs tried to take off after a rabbit, luckly we were standing nearby and were able to step on the leash to keep her from taking off.

If your using them as just a walking leash, they aren't too bad, but the type of material makes them uncomfortable to hold for extended periods, and I like to wrap the leash around my hand when there's "distractions" too keep the dog closer to me.

Can't really do that with these leashes.

They served their purpose this summer, but will be looking for something new for this year.

Would not buy again.

Premier Pet Leash

I originally bought this leash to match the harness which seemed pretty good. My fiance was walking our puppy one night and was getting into the elevator when the leash popped off. He told me this and I got worried. We live in the city and cars do not care nor stop for anything or anyone. I bought another premier leash thinking that maybe the leash was not properly put on or that one might've been defective. Since the company seemed like a reputable one, I bought another leash to replace it. This time I was NOT so lucky. I was walking my baby this morning and the leash just popped off. My baby knowing where the dog run is wanted to go and was running across a large avenue and was struck by a bus. She is now in the ICU of a veterinary hospital. How can a company continue to sell a leash that is NOT secure???!!!!! What's the point of the leash?????!!!!!! These are our babies that they are putting in danger. PLEASE do not risk getting this leash it is not worth it.

I bought a premier leash in 08 and it released my dog several times. Freaked me out. I've had no trouble with the collar but wont be buying the leash again.

The function of a leash is to stay connected to the dog. Whats up with that Premier! NOT COOL! Hope its been redesigned.

The closure on the leash is poor. My dog escaped twice before I realized there was a real problem with this leash. The first time I had assumed I didn't get it fully attached to the loop on his collar. The second time he broke free it was a night on a very busy urban street. If he would have wandered off it would have been over! We got back home and my husband and I tested it by attaching the leash to the collar and pulling. The collar repeatedly broke free of the leash with minimal effort. I have not used the leash since and certainly would never buy it again.

I bought this leash at the animal shelter where I adopted my dog. Even though it's only been a week, this leash has come off of his collar twice. As soon as I got my dog safely home, I sat and figured out what the problem is. The reason it pops off is the ring on the collar twists up against the trigger and pushes it back just far enough to release the ring. It WILL happen eventually if the ring gets in the right position. In my case, I was using this leash with a Gentle Leader collar. The ring on that collar is a very small diameter and round. I think this leash might work better with a collar that had a D-ring of a very thick diameter, but I'm not willing to risk it.

I have another leash with a smaller more rounded trigger. I tried the same set up and I was unable to pop the trigger.

If you already own this leash, consider replacing it or figuring out a backup method to keep it attached when it does fail.

Years ago I had a saxophone neck strap with that exact kind of clasp on it. After about the third time I caught my 1960 Selmer Mark VI tenor by the thumb hook, I scrapped the strap. The problem with that kind of hook is if you attach it to a small ring, the proximal side of the ring can push on the opening mechanism while giving the distal side leverage to push through the opening.

We like this coupler, but the recommended size seems a little too long. This is used for 2 large dogs, and 4 feet in between them (the 24" measurement...) is a lot! They go both ways before realizing they're tugging on eachother and it does draw them opposite ways. However, I gave it 4* because we have rigged this to make a dual seatbelt onto their harnesses in the back of a truck so it's been put to good use!

It really works. I did have some training on how to use it. Both my dogs were aggressive toward other dogs. One little pull on the lead the right way to distract their attention and back to quiet, normal dogs.

The first shock collar i bought was from PetSafe and let me tell you, that thing was a piece of junk. I upgraded to this collar because the petsafe collar did not hold up to it's end of the bargain( the petsafe collar is now a 130 dollar paper weight.) I recieved the Wetlandhunter collar in the mail a few days ago, and let me tell you, it is a great shock collar. The first thing that caught my eye was the 1 Mile coverage distance. I put the transmitter in the car and drove a mile down the road and called my wife on her cell phone. She confirmed that at a mile the collar was beeping and vibrating as i pressed the buttons. The overall build of the collar is great. This thing is literally bullet proof. The camoflage design makes by pitbull look like a hunting dog. lol. But overall, this collar is great. 300 dollars is a little steep, but you get a great quality product which in the long run is well worth it. whatever you do, dont go with petsafe!!!!

I have a blue tic and a basset hound for hunting and they both are very stubborn they would bark all day and night and would not fallow any commands as well as chase deer and since the purchase of this training collar its like i traded my dogs in for 2 that came right out of obedience school. This is the second Sport Dog collar I have purchased, the previous model worked great for years, and had a goood range, and this model has better battery longevity, and supurb range, along with more features. always a great buy, just remeber the trining is an essencial part of sucess with this collar. The dog should not cry out when correction is applied, if he does, the setting is too high. my dog loves the collar, because we do fun thinks when the collar is on, like hikes, and field play.

I have used this on a my male black lab that I should have named Houdini or Rover. Well to make a long story short he is a bonifide explorer;a social butterfly. Add to that he can climb chain link fences and has super dog vision to find an open gate or hole under the fence and you will realize that I HAD a problem. In the city we are in the fine for uncontrolled dogs is 250 dollars. I invested in one of these units and needed to use the shock function only twice. Besides that, my toy poodle definitely loves them. But the 100% reason I bought them, is because it said gluten-free. I didn't read the ingredients until, later...when I put my glasses on! LOL.

My Boston Terrier puppy loves these mini treats. Contrary to what many say about training this breed, I have had wonderful results in getting my little one to learn and follow training like pad training, "down" off furniture, "come" and "stop" and much more. PetSafe Lickety Stik

Since neither of my 2 dogs can write about this new Lickety Stik, I will do my best.

A new idea for treats is always welcomed. We had 3 flavors of Stiks, Bacon, Chicken and Liver. We tried all three on both Sundae and Casey. Sundae licked all three and seemed to like them all. Casey, however, wouldn't try any of the three, just turning his head in apparent disgust (lol). Having had dogs my whole life, you never can tell what a dog will like or dislike. I didn't give this 5 stars, because of some functional reasons, not because Casey didn't even try it. First, the lick ball is exactly like a deodorant ball. As a matter of fact, the container reminds me of an Arrid Rollerball Deodorant bottle exactly. It doesn't move freely by just licking, you have to gently squeeze the bottle for the liquid to be available to the dog. If you squeeze too hard, it drips onto the floor. Other than that, it seems to be enjoyable. It is supposed to be healthy, but I had to use a magnifying glass to read the rather small label.

Update July/September 2012: Sad to say both my beautiful puppies in this video have passed on. They were both 12 years old.

I am a veterinarian with 7 years experience, and I have 3 Great Danes. I am always looking for safe, effective, fun, and innovative new pet products. I saw the video for this product, and definitely agree that carrying a pocketful of crumbling treats isn't much fun for training/rewards, so decided to give it a try. All 3 of my girls tried to bite the bottle at first (and I think most dogs will), but within a few seconds, all of them figured it out, and were licking away very happily, each taking their turn sitting down for me. I also recently used it to help keep them standing still while my 8 year old daughter gave them baths outside with the hose on a nice warm day....much less mess than doing it in the tub inside! It was also handy when we went for a short hike at a local park a while back, as I am training the 2 younger Danes to wear backpacks (that's a whole other story!). Even if the dogs jump in the river wearing their backpacks and get them soaked, their treats won't get soggy. The only thing I would like to see is using a liquid treat that's maybe a bit healthier for them...the ingredient list on the Lickety Stik looks like a lot of processed stuff. It does have a bit of an odor, too, but I didn't find it that strong or offensive like some of the other people here did. And I think it's the odor that really draws the dogs to come check it out...otherwise, why would they want to just lick a plastic roller ball?

Also, I think it would be nice to have a bottle that is just a little bit larger for the large/giant breeds like mine...but this does work well regardless. Finally, I think it would be great to have a refillable bottle, so there would be less waste...500 licks goes fast when you're training 3 big dogs!

Oh, and yes, I will re-order this, and do recommend it.

It's been several weeks of using it and there is still a ton of licking left, definitely getting my moneys worth out of this treat.

Another thing that has been nice is the ability to keep this in my pocket without making a mess. So going for a walk with it has been nice (and a great way to keep his attention when there are other not well behaved dogs around).

UPDATE -

Well the puppy dog has spoken... he loves Lickety Stik!

When we first presented it to him he was a bit unsure and tried to bite the stick which was kind of cute but he quickly realized he had to lick it.

Now every time the Lickety Stik comes out as a reward or to teach him something, he just can't wait to lick the bejesus out of it.

Not only does the dog love it and responds really well to it, it's made in the USA!

This is a very unique, clean, easy to use, easy to carry, and fun treat for your dog. I would highly recommend this to most anyone. Way to go PetSafe!

Izzy, our mini schnauzer, is very food motivated. Schnauzers have a tendency to get chunky though, so rewarding her with food every time she does a trick is a balancing act between giving her something she likes but not having her snack with treats all day.

At 1 calorie per 10 licks, along with a fun interactive way to give her the treat, the lickety safe is fun and healthy. She had no trouble at all figuring out how to lick the deodorant like ball. Ear Pet Wipes

I have a German Shepherd who is prone to ear infections. I use these wipes when she starts scratching her ears, and they really get a lot of gunk out! After I clean her ears she stops scratching and she has not gotten any infections. I have seen other wipes for much more money. These work great, they're not expensive, and there are a lot of them in the package. Very satisfied!

There is really nothing wrong with these ear wipes and I am sure they work great on medium or large dogs (I wished I had bought them for our previous adult Lhasa who was prone to drainage due to allergies). I tried using them on my little pup and I think she is still too young to notice a benefit so I will keep them to use a few months from now. Right now it is easier for me to use the 8 x 10 Quick Wipes starting from the head/ear area on down her entire body for a refreshing clean-up.

I was somewhat disappointed with this extra collar I bought. The collar itself is narrower than the original that came with the transmitter and the battery life is much shorter. Though it does do what it's supposed to and the narrower collar makes it easier to distinguish which collar goes to which dog, I have my doubts about the longevity of the narrower collar because my borders play rough and are always grabbing each others collar.

Product delivered rapidly. Called customer service to help set it up as the manual could be confusing. Customer service was very helpful. Product performs as described.
