We have an elderly dog who has trouble holding his urine throughout the course of a work day. For a while we were using the throw-away pee pee pads. Those suckers were sending us to the poor house, too expensive! We got four of these whelping pads and they cover the entire den floor! Fortunately, we had just installed tile floors where it had been Berber carpet prior. Nice timing!

These pads are heavy duty and launder up beautifully. We don't have to crack out the mop so much anymore. Highly recommended if you're in our situation.

I have a 23 yr old handicapped daughter that is incontinent. I tried waterproof mattress pads but they wouldn't keep the mattress fully protected. These pads work great as a barrier. They completely cover a queen mattress. I'd recommend them. So far they wash well.

I am a hobby breeder of miniature Australian shepherds and I find these whelping pads excellent to use under my x-pen until puppies are old enough to put on the ground for potty training outside. I use a roll of inexpensive vinyl flooring over my hardwoods and the pad next. Urine soaks up and keeps the puppies from getting wet and it is easy to pick up their poops. I have more than one so I can wash one and trade out a clean one. I can easily pick up the pads as well to sanitize the flooring underneath although it is not so necessary since nothing soaks through. I put a small amount of Odoban in the rinse and the pads come out smelling nice and fresh. Remember not to use dryer sheets!

This has been a great product!!! I was very happy with the reviews so that is why I got it. My female dog just had her first litter on this pad a few days ago, 12 puppies and not one leak!!! I hadn't even had time to wash it yet, it arrived the day before she had them. I have washed it everyday. It absorbs any fluid, and does not leak onto my carpet and although you can tell where the fluid was absorbed, if you happen to touch it, you do not get wet. I am ordering another one!!!

Love this pad, it protects my floor and don't have to use any paper towel, which saves a lot because my puppy was spilling water or when he would pee next to his potty pad.
