My GSD's prey drive has her going for my ankles and feet in play and I read that I shouldn't try to 'cure' her of this as the behavior can be used for later training lessons. The advice suggested diverting that drive to a 'jute tug' and I gave this model a try. She absolutely loves playing tug using this but she eventually got away with it and her and our older dog destroyed it while we had a dog sitter caring for them. I tried a couple other varieties of tugs since and they weren't of the same durability nor did she go after them with the same gusto. I'm back and ordering another one!
