E-Z Leash

I received the E-Z leash promptly with a handwritten note from the manufacturers. Great customer service and quality of materials used in the product. I initially purchased the item for one of my dogs that seems to get nervous whenever she sees a leash. I thought an integrated leash in collar combo would solve the problem. In theory, this product should work for anyone with a dog that does not pull on the leash. But if like me, you have a dog that pulls, you'll need to keep looking for a different product. The collar is strong and well built. The problem is not quality but rather design. After slipping the collar on and adjusting to fit properly, I set out with my dog, and within a second of her pulling, she was able to loosen the entire length of the collar and leash. Essentially, since the collar is part of the same length of material that connects to the leash, if your dog pulls he'll be able to slip out of the collar. My dog pulled for 2 seconds and the collar that has previously been adjusted to fit her neck, now was was 3 feet wide. Obviously, found myself physically trying to hold on to the dog that no longer had a collar around her neck; collar was so wide it was now around her abdomen. Unless they come up with a clamp or some form of way to keep the collar from loosening I dont see how I'll be able to use the product. I've decided to put it on my other dog, who does not pull, and at least Ive been able to get some use out of it. Wish they mentioned this design limitation in the description so that people with dogs who pull would know ahead of time of this issue.

A friend let me borrow this when i took my dog with me on a trip and i loved it. It was so handy and light weight. My dog didn't even know anything other than his regular collar was on him and i had a safety net in case he tried to run away or a strange dog was running at us or any other danger that comes up. When I used the leash part of the collar, it was so quick and easy and didn't scare him at all. I loved it so much I bought my own. It's well worth the price for the piece of mind.

This collar and leash combo is FABULOUS! The collar appears to be very comfortable on my dog and having an emergency leash is priceless. If you need to get a quick hold of your dog or if you have forgotten a separate leash, you just grab the velcro handle and you immediately have a short leash. If you need more leash line then just move the buckle and the leash expands in length even further. It is a wonderful invention and I highly recommend to all dog owners. Please note: I have medium and large dogs so I am not sure if it would work for very small dogs. Outdoor Adventure Dogs was a wonderful seller to deal with and I am pleased with my entire transaction.

Scratch N Scram - Stops Dog Scratches on Doors. Protects Surfaces. Peel, Stick Protect!

I ordered a sheet of scratch n scram after it was recommend by a friend in hopes to alter one of my pups means of communication...which is to paw/scratch at the door and window's for my attention. Product shipped quickly and was easy to measure, cut and apply. I applied my sheet to both the glass and the exterior part of the door. I had a slight reservation about sticking to the surface of door as it is a woodgrain PerformaSteal door and not actual wood. I firmly applied edges of the top and all along edges to bottom...and much to my surprise after last nights storms every thing was still in one place & adhered to the door this morning! As of this afternoon it appears grace (aka pup) will not be scratching at the door any time soon!

This product worked for me, in conjuction with a device that stopped my dog from barking (and therefore panicking). on my white door the dog design is not very noticeable. My only problem was that when I tried to remove it to reposition, the paint came off my door! I'm in a rental, so I am guessing the quality of the paint job was not good. And even with that problem, this item was well worth it -in fact I cut it into two pieces and used on two doors.

It works!!! We have 4 dogs, but only one scratches at the door when daddy comes home from work. Have tried several things to get him to quit, but nothing worked, until I brought this! I was worried after I went back to my very expensive training collars to help with our new puppy and found that neither of them worked.

Potty Patch As Seen On TV

I was very excited when I saw this advertised on TV. I looked it up online and was happy to find out that my local Petco carried them in the store. I live on the top floor of an apartment and have a Chihuahua. I've never been able to take him out as regularly as I'd like, so he has been puppy pad trained for years. I thought this would be a nice alternative to the costly puppy pads and also be a little more eco-friendly. As soon as I set it up, my dog was drawn to it. He crawled on top, sniffed around, but did not go. No worries there. I figured it would take a little re-training. Sadly, on this first attempt when he started to hop off of it, the grass top flung from underneath him and scared him. He then urinated on the floor next to it. I knew immediately that this product was going to take more than just a little re-training. It was going to take some additional "engineering" by me to make it work. I had already paid top dollar for the large pad and felt it should be better quality for the price I paid. I packed the product back up as neatly as I found it and returned it the same day to Petco. They completely understood my issues with the product and gave me a refund. This product honestly does have true potential for apartment dwellers and pet owners who just aren't able to get their dog outside as much as they'd like. The price does sound steep, but if it had worked it could have paid for itself in 6 months because I wouldn't be going through puppy pads anymore. Unfortunately, I felt it was very cheaply made and not completely thought out.

I got the potty patch for my little chihuahua but she will not go near it. I've tried to stand her on it and she jumps off and runs and hides from me. I have left it in my room thinking that she would get used to it but she totally avoids it. I don't know if the texture hurts her feet or what. I have another dog that is 60 pounds but I think she is too big for the patch that I have. Besides, I'm afraid that she will eat it. I guess there is just no substitute for good training which right now I don't have the time or money for. I would love to know if it has worked for other people with a chihuahua and how.

The Potty Patch has good potential. The only drawback for us was that if it doesn't get cleaned twice a day, it smells bad in the house. But our puppy loved it and used it. It did not stop her from using the bathroom on the carpet in the house though, which is what we bought it for.

My wife and I were using puppy pads and thought that this potty patch would save us some money. this patch is just plain unsanitary in my opinion. It's a hassle to clean and who wants to clean when they can just pick up the puppy pad and throw it away/ This product did not work for us because we were used to just being able to throw away the pads and not having to clean up the dog's mess and the pee smell lingers.

Large Martingale Blue Bone Camo Patterened Dog Collar

Suggested to use by the trainers at The Guide Dog Foundation and they are much more pet friendly than the traditional choke collar. The martingale, after each correcting, releases and our labs are much more compliant. I bought 2 as we use one for each of our labs. The trainers suggest to make sure to keep the collar snug on the dog but comfortable so corrections can be short and controlled.

We bought a pair of these collars for our young bloodhounds and they worked fine. Martingale makes a good product and the collars were everything that they were advertised to be.

I used to go to the store at least once a month to purchase my dogs bark collar batteries. They are usually $11 a pop. I was able to find this bargain with 4 batteries. Now I won't have to make four separate trips when the batteries go dead. I think I saved around $5 on the batteries in total, but I saved more in gas and transportation to go buy these batteries.

I just received this for my Corgi. She can move in it just fine and doesn't seem bothered by it at all. I had no clue which size to order since I couldn't find any info here or even on the manufacturer's site. Luckily I got the correct size. If anyone else is thinking about buying this, the sizing guide on the back of the box says the following:

X-SM. 3-7 lbs., SM. 8-14 lbs., MED. 15-27 lbs., LARGE 28-50 lbs., X-LARGE 50 lbs. and over.

The product is not really what i would have bought had i actually seen in . It functions but it is a cheap vynle material and looks kind of Trashy. Only thing good about it , is that you can rinse it off and it does not hold a smell. I bought another type that was fabric and has been a much better product. Althougth it has to be washed in a washing machine. Overall the fabric Pants are by far a better quality .

I have used these "panties" on 3 German Shepherds for at least 15 yrs, and Cairn Terriers before that. They have lasted forever. FINALLY after 15 yrs, the plastic tore where the snap is. WELL worth the money!! My dogs have not found them uncomfortable like most of the pants you find. I just tell them they have to get their "Big Girl Panties" on when they come in and they just stand there and wait for their treat :) I use regular human maxi pads with wings to put inside. My puppy went into heat at a very young age right in the middle of a family vacation in a house full of people and dogs. She had been scheduled to be spayed and I had never dealt with such a thing before. I bought this garment for her at a pet supply store. What can a person say about a dog treat. They are all the same, right? Wrong. I have tried so many treats on the market that I can't remember half of them any longer. I like the Old Mother Hubbard Meaties treats for dogs...chicken flavor. First of all the size is perfect to use in training your dog. So many of the training treats out there are just too small or too large. These treats are the perfect size. I usually get the chicken flavor but with the extra chicken added. It comes in Lamb and Liver flavor too. When I yell to my dogs that I have a 'special treat for you' they come running, which is what I want. They even know where I keep it and poke it with their noses while they wait impatiently for me to open the bag. I make them sit before I give it to them. They love the flavor of the extra chicken treats and never turn it down. I like it because of the size and my use in training with the dogs. I usually buy them 10 bags at a time because I go through them so fast. It's one of my favorite things to reach for with the dogs. The price has continued to go up on this product but so has it for other dog treats as well. I also like the fact that Old Mother Hubbard uses only a good quality of things in their products.

I purchased the chicken flavor treats to use as a training reward for my 6 mo old German Shephard during our clicker training sessions. I have used soft treats in the past, and thought that these might be a better deal at just over $3 with 15% off. The treats were larger than I thought they would be (pictures are always deceiving). They are a little larger than the thumbnail of an average adult. When I used these treats as a reward, it took my GSD a lot longer to crunch the treat and swallow than the soft treats. My GSD is messy, and the crumbles fell on the floor which took even more time for her to clean up. It really seemed to impede the flow of training, so I will not be using these for training in the future. As a treat, they are great.

Black Leather Braided Dog Traffic Leash Short 15" Long

This leash is a very nice made leather leash. However, the clip (I should have noticed) is not a full half-circle (the end is cut very low)so as I was walking my dog the mechanism used to unhook the leash was easily pushed up and the clip came loose. Luckily I was able to grab the collar and pull out my other leash and clip it on the collar. The clip mechanism is just a poor design so I Hacksawed it off took a Screwgate Carabiner ran it through the end loop and attached that to the collar ring and it works perfect.

This is perfect for better control of your dog....like crossing streets, the vets office, etc. Well made and a good buy!
