I purchased this collar for my 6 month old/60lb Rhodesian Ridegback at the advice of my vet. This dog is extremely intelligent and well trained, yet on a leash she pulls, lunges, and has herself choking (both with a regular collar and a harness). Viewing the DVD facilitates one's ability to follow the instructions on introducing the collar and ensuring proper fit. I literally walked my dog with 2 fingers through the loop of the leash handle....the collar helped the dog self-correct....and all I needed to do was praise (verbally and with treats)....immediate results.

I purchased the Gentle Leader for my 2 year old 73 lb Labradoodle who is a "puller." Have tried all the techniques to try to stop her from pulling and nothing has worked until I purchased this. Be sure to watch the DVD and follow the instructions to make sure you are putting it on correctly. If it is not put on correctly, it will not work. Very easy to use once you watch the video. When I have used a regular collar my dog would pull so much she would start choking. I was afraid she would injure herself. No more choking with this and very effective.

We have a crazy Great Dane puppy we should have gotten this for moooonths ago. We waited until he reached 170 lbs at 11 months old. Good idea right? Anyway, this collar is a MIRACLE! It literally worked on the first walk. I am NOT kidding. He would drag me and my husband everywhere before. Where he wanted to go...we went. Now he is the best walking dog on our block. He never pulls anymore, and if he trys slightly..then a small tug on the collar and he is PERFECT! I do recommend watching the dvd with directions. Those suckers are hard to get on at first. Or well, confusing. But, I'm a pro and do it super fast now. Also the dvd shows how NOT to walk them while the collar is on and I am glad we watched it. I have these for both my dalmation and my rat terrior who like to pull, putting these leaders on makes an instant change. My dogs don't love them but they are walking 90% better than before. I am hoping that after long enough on these they will form good habits and I won't have to use them. It was really a must have to get them to stop pulling!

This is a good crate, good quality and put together well. The only complaint I have is that the divider is "off" a little. The dividing piece is a little too big on the "hooks" that keep it in place so it moves and I feel that it's going to fall. Also, the door is on crooked. It's hard to close lock the door.

I bought this crate for my new puppy, an Australian Shepherd, that I planned to crate train. This crate is perfect it has a divider that can be used while the pup is little. The tray slides out for easy cleaning. The best part is it folds down to a very slim size with ease we take it on the road with is, so the pup has her home away from home. I bought this because it was competitively priced and they claimed to use thicker wires that are spaced closer together...well, they are closer together, although, you have to get out a ruler to tell the difference. As for the thicker wire, I can't say. I can say that this crate is noticeably lighter in weight than my other 36" crate, which says to me that the wire is not thicker. It being lighter is its own advantage; but don't buy this thinking it's going to be sturdier than other crates. It's just average.

Does the job but it's not very good quality, kinda hard to latch one of the locks on mine because its a little off balance. Luckily my dog won't try to bust out because it probably wouldn't be hard. I don't recommend this brand for a really hyper dog but for a calm obedient dog you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

We have tried to use this multiple times and it never works. My husband is a golfer, he knows how to swing a club. The ball either wont fly out of the holder, or you have to barely place it in the holder so it can fly out and then it just flies a few feet with no control. We have used the ball included, old balls, tennis balls, smooth balls, makes no difference what the ball texture is, it either is too loose or too tight. I wish I kept the receipt, I would return it if I had.

Generally I love devices that help launch a ball so a dog can get a bit more exercise. However, I dislike this one because the ball leaves the ground and goes up. If your dog is eager to grab the ball, they can easily get in the way and be struck by the club or by the ball leaving at a high speed. I've seen a few dogs at the park injured with this product and similar ones. It's much safer to use a Chuckit! Pocket Ball Launcher (Colors Vary). Not only will you not injure your dog, but it's easier to launch. I've seen one dog try to get the ball before the person has time to "swing" the club. All in all, there are much better options than this considering the Chuckit is also cheaper.

I do use these treats for my own dogs but mostly I use them for the shelter dogs I work with. These treats are a perfect size and have a nice strong smell. I love that they are high value treats for the dogs but are not super messy for me to work with or carry. I can fit plenty of them in any of my treat bags and the bag they come in has a nice zip top to keep them fresh. They will turn into hard little rocks if you let them get stale but that hasn't stopped my dogs from begging for them when I empty out my training pouch.

PetSafe Weave Pole Guides

These guide wires are worthless. They don't clamp onto 3/4" poles, they are too small. They also don't arc into a nice curve they are more V-shaped when attached to the weave poles, and don't bend into the proper shape. Do not waste your money on these. Spend more elsewhere to get guide wires you can actually use.

The guide wires work great and are at a fantastic price. They clamp onto 3/4in. PVC just fine. If you are intending it for a set of 12 weave poles, you will need to get 2 sets of guide wires.

These look sturdy, but I can't tell how they will stand up to use because I can't get them over the weave poles. The ends are so small/tight that I'm going to have to cut them to get them to fit.

If I had wanted to spend more money, I'm sure I could've gotten a better set of guide wires. These worked just fine. Let me address a couple of the complaints.

1. They don't slide over the poles, you use the pole to force the guide attachment open and then the pole clicks in. If it slid over the pole, it would slide up and down the poles easily. As it is, you have to use some effort to change the height of the wires when they are attached.

2. They are a bit of an odd shape. I tried everything to get them to be straight including hot water, no go. I went ahead and used them to train my pup and they were fine.

I originally bought this for my mom's shih tzu, however, I failed to pay attention to this being a "large" toy. It was almost as big as the poor girls head! Despite her (the shih tzu's) attempts, she just couldn't play with it.

Definitely worth the money, provided your dog is a serious enough sized dog to enjoy it. I'd recommend this one for dogs anywhere from 45lbs+ in size. Basically medium sized and up.

I think we own 5 or 10 of these "Googlies" by now and we love them (Oh, and so does the dog!). They keep Duke entertained for hours on end because of the unique shapes and the squeaking, I think. This is a very well made and sturdy harness for a Service Dog. I have a 58 lb Cattle Dog with a 29-30 chest girth. The front chest strap is fully adjustable but tends to ride a little high for him. Still very serviceable. Patches are the best I have ever seen. All materilas used are of excellent quality and the construction is extremely good, too. The handle is well made and the dee rings are well placed. I can't fault it other then I wish the front chest strap was set on a bit lower.

I was very pleased at how well this harness was put together. The joints and such are very well done. It was easy to fit on my Standard poodle with a good amount of adjustment room. Be sure to check and recheck the measurements of your dog... the small fit my dog very well... the Velcro front adjustment also has plenty of room for adjustment... the side 'service dog' tags are Velcro-ed on to the point that you really need some strength to pull it off... you will not lose it while you are travelling around... the only problem I had was the box it came in... everything was packed very well and nothing was damaged, but the box was (I think) too small because the top was sprung and it was a good sized hole -about 2" in diameter... other than that... I'm very impressed

I bought this for my Chihuahua that weighs about 5 lbs. The description was that it is great for small dogs but it was heavy, and did not fit around my chihuahua's neck. Also, It weighed our chihuahua down. It would be ok for a big dog, though.

Read what this collar could do and thought good idea. It's a good idea but horrible execution. The collar doesn't work when it's suppose to. Vibrates at random times and not when the dog is barking. Complicated and disjointed instructions makes it more frustating. Bottom line....it doesn't work, get a jar of pennies and rattle it when you want your dog to stop barking.

I thought this purchase was risky because it was a low cost alternative but then again the low cost prompted the gamble... When I received it I tried to read the instructions but they were worse than bad! I have no idea what the translator/author meant. That being said, I put the small watch type batteries in and the collar started blinking. Great, that'll run the batteries down I thought. But 5 weeks later it's still blinking away. Now my Schnoodle is very smart and knows the word 'collar' and that she'll get a schock from the old, damaged one. Just strapping this on shut her up but then she jumped when it vibrated (it doesn't shock) so I had to adjust it (no instructions, remember). She has barked only one time while wearing the collar and that was when a friend arrived, usually she'll just give a low 'woof, woof' so she doesn't trigger the sensor. She wears the collar only when she goes outside or when she's inside but outside noises irritate her. I definitely recommend this as a low-cost alternative and especially if you don't want your dog to be schocked. I may buy a second one as a standby, one for the vehicle and one for the home...

This won't hurt your dog. It doesn't shock them, it just vibrates kind of annoyingly. But there's a delay of 20-30 seconds between the dog barking and the collar reacting. This just confuses the dog and doesn't teach him anything at all. Useless.

Even though I purchased a "small" size of the Gentile Leader, it was not a good fit for my 13 week Australian Terrier puppy. Therefor, it was not effective as a training device for "on lease" walking. Her head was still too small and not proportioned correctly for the head collar to be adjusted correctly. I think for a slightly larger puppy this leader would work as advertised.

This collar is the best. It allows me to walk my schnauzer without any yanking or pulling. She is happy and comfortable. Me too!

I am a huge fan of this harness! When I first adopted my dog Jackson, we tried EVERYTHING to encourage better behavior when out in the world. At home he was an angel, but on the street? I have a 5 month old schnauzer poodle mix who is about 11 lbs right now. He's loved this toy since arriving home at about 10 weeks of age.

Makes a crinkly sound as promised whenever my dog bites down on it. He has not gotten tired of it yet, nor has he torn it apart. It sometimes sounds to me like he's getting into mischief with other objects around the house, but it almost always ends up being just the crinkly sound of the stuff inside this toy.

I don't know how it would stand up to a more rigorous chewer though, but thankfully, there is no battery or other small ingestible objects within it. If my dog eats a little bit of stuffing, I'm ok with that :)

Italian Basket Muzzle - Size 7 - Black

I have an aggressive dog who needs to wear a muzzle any time he leave the house and a dog who eats nonfood items that could be harmful to her. I needed a muzzle that would be comfortable, allow both of them to drink and pant but would also stand up to the wear and tear that an average dogs would inflict on it. I needed it to stand up to being bumped and pushed on when they rolled in the grass or when the tried to eat something off the ground, etc.... I bought 2 of these muzzles and used them for a number of months (not quite a year). Both muzzles started cracking and breaking 6 months or so after buying them. My dogs had not done anything unusual while wearing the muzzle. They did not abuse the muzzles or hit anything hard with their mouths or noses while wearing them. I had to buy new muzzles to replace these less than a year after purchasing them. I would not purchase these again for my dogs.

The muzzles I ordered came quickly and in perfect shape. They are good quality and will be perfect for what I need them for. I only need to use them when taking two of my dogs to the vet.

Once our lab pointer mix started on seizure meds he went from being food-focused to food-obsessed and he discovered an incredibly convenient, readily available new food source dog poop. (FWIW We feed him appropriately, and his weight and overall health are great). Daily yard maintenance helps to reduce the opportunities, but we have more than one dog, and quite frankly, no matter how diligent we are in scooping, he is more diligent in searching out what we've missed. No training method, advice from our vet, or muzzle, has eliminated the problem, until now.

This muzzle works because it prevents him from getting his mouth close enough to make contact. Other muzzles we've tried, (those that close the dogs jaws but are open on the end) just taught him to nibble rather than gulp. This muzzle creates sufficient distance at the end and has a double barrier (the inner one is removable) that he cannot get around or get his tongue through.

The size 7 is a good fit. Prior experience taught us to loop his muzzle strap through his collar before fastening so I don't know how well it would stay on without that extra step. The only possible negative I have found is that the strap fastens with a standard buckle that is slightly less convenient to take on and off.

This product has made an big difference in our enjoyment of our dog.

I have a year and half old long coated Chihuahua. We have always given Vitakraft Yogurt drops as treats to our dogs. Yesterday my husband went a little overboard and gave our male quite a few yogurt drops. He was "off the wall" all night. Manaufacture uses the same UPC SKU number on two differnet products, not a white terrier on the bag, as pictured in this advertisement. Vitakraft also changes the text letter coloring in the word "DROPS", between blue and red; it is the only other way to tell the difference in the favor of the two products. My dog loves the flavor of the product pictured, but won't eat the product that was delivered, as it is a different flavor and the packaging pictures is a Jack Russell. Even though the text lettering is Blue, the flavor is different, but he SKU is the same. I also understand that Vitakraft doesn't ship the product pictured during the heat of the summer months, as the drops melt together into hard a pile.

Of course dogs like these treats. The main ingredient is sugar. Any nutritional value these treats have which is very little is not from the ingredients but is added as an afterthought. They also contain over 50% fat!

These are not good treats. It is the equivalent of a human eating a Snickers bar and thinking it is healthy because it is made with peanuts and must have calcium in it since it has chocolate...

Find an alternative. Spend a little more $$ and get your dogs a treat that is ACTUALLY good for them. Try baked chicken breast fillets.
