There are a lot of cat treats on the market. Some my cats like, some they don't. PureBites Chicken treats are made of real, freeze dried chicken. The package says it is made in the USA. So, they appear to be safe, quality controlled, and healthy. The are a bit more pricey than some other treats, but my cats lick up every morsel. I highly recommend the product. If you can't find the "Cat" treats, look for it in Dog treats. Same product, just a little "bigger pieces" which are easily broken or cut into a smaller size for cats.

I chose this product because it is a great treat for a diabetic or a fat cat. Real chicken nothing else, so it is very low in carbs but high in protein. My cats go crazy for it too, they apparently love the taste.

My cat is on a prescription diet for bladder stones. She can no longer eat regular cat food. I tried this brand because my cat had a tooth pulled and it was hard to bite hard food. This freeze dried chicken is white meat and easy to chew and swallow. I've never seen my cat react so favorably to a treat before! She goes nuts over this! It's not a soft food, but a freeze dried texture. It is a treat, not a substitute for food. Well at least the treats are made in the USA, we're using the Kong rubber tire toy, and while the 'treats' are fairly large, it is too easy for our GSD puppy to get them out I just feel that the 'treats' should be larger and the packaging marked for what Kong toy would be correct.

My dog is fussy about what treats he'll respond to. These treats are effective training treats. I break them into little bits to get more mileage from them. They are pricey. Rural King here seems to have stopped carrying them so I was glad to find them on-line

So the reason I bought these and paid so much money for this lil bag of treats it because I wanted a treat that would fit perfectly in the kong so I don't have to shove several treats into it. Okay so they say fits perfectly into Kong so I'm expecting one treat will fit perfectly inside (as described) so as I'm running out for work, I can shove one it, give to my dog and go. These treats are tiny!! They would fit a doll-house sized kong perhaps? I have a small dog kong and yeah, I can shove one far into the bottom of a kong but it still will fall out unless I fill it with peanut butter or another substance. SOOO disappointed!

My dog goes nuts over these, and I was so happy to find something that inspires such loyalty in her that also has good healthy ingredients.

Previously the only treat she went crazy for (having tried freeze dried liver bits, duck jerky, zukes treats in various flavors, and all other kinds of real-ingredient treats) was something that had high-fructose corn syrup as the 2nd ingredient -definitely not something i ever wanted to feed her. They are large (the size of half an unshelled walnut) so i break them into 1/6ths to use as training rewards. The only downside is that if you break them up ahead of time, their edges will crumble a bit in your pocket, but nothing too bad.

The pad size is perfect if you have a rectangular pad tray. Good for a small dog who will do his business near the center of the pad. Not the best pad by any means but for the price it just might be. Giving it a 5 because of price as related to quality. At a higher price the stars would drop.

I thought this would be a better choice than it was. The color is good very snappy! But the extendable thing just doesn't work so well when you have it down to the small size it doesn't stay together. It's not that it's broken, it's just that the two sides of the pink section get tangled in my dog! I would have done better if they had just a four foot leash but I liked the color so I thought it would work. It doesn't and it's in the drawer. If you are looking for a five or five and a half or a six foot leash this would probably be perfect. I think this was my problem not the designers/manufacturers.

PetSafe Weave Pole Guides

These guide wires are worthless. They don't clamp onto 3/4" poles, they are too small. They also don't arc into a nice curve they are more V-shaped when attached to the weave poles, and don't bend into the proper shape. Do not waste your money on these. Spend more elsewhere to get guide wires you can actually use.

The guide wires work great and are at a fantastic price. They clamp onto 3/4in. PVC just fine. If you are intending it for a set of 12 weave poles, you will need to get 2 sets of guide wires.

These look sturdy, but I can't tell how they will stand up to use because I can't get them over the weave poles. The ends are so small/tight that I'm going to have to cut them to get them to fit.

If I had wanted to spend more money, I'm sure I could've gotten a better set of guide wires. These worked just fine. Let me address a couple of the complaints.

1. They don't slide over the poles, you use the pole to force the guide attachment open and then the pole clicks in. If it slid over the pole, it would slide up and down the poles easily. As it is, you have to use some effort to change the height of the wires when they are attached.

2. They are a bit of an odd shape. I tried everything to get them to be straight including hot water, no go. I went ahead and used them to train my pup and they were fine.

I've had my dog for almost 3 years now and I will admit he's not very social, especially to other dogs. I would always dread taking him for walks because he would just make SUCH a ruckus. He would back and scream bloody murder if even the dog was on the other side of the street. Well imagine this 6 o'clock in the morning when the whole neighborhood is asleep. I'm sure you could imagine the embarrasement. Well I got this collar last week and I swear it's been a miracle. I'm kicking myself in the a## for not buying this collar earlier.

The first time he barked, he was startled out of his mind. The second time, same reaction. The third time, he just barked once, then kept quiet once the spray went off. Now he doesn't even bark. You could tell he wants to, but just knows the consequences. Words can't explain how thrilled I am to have purchased this collar. Now I'm saving up to purchase the one with the remote. That way I can use it when I get home and he's screaching, waking up the neighborhood, and announcing my arrival.

One thing to keep in mind is that this collar does not work for high pitched screaching like my dog does when I get home. Hence the reason for buying the one with the remote. Oh, and for those wondering if it will work on your small dogs, it will. My dog is a chihuahua/pomeranian mix.

My doxie is a major league, Hank Aaron barker. This product is 100% effective for him. He is a little shy (although stubborn sometimes), which might make a difference. He weighs 19 lbs. I really am not sure I could bear to shock him, as I am a bit tender-hearted towards him, but I probably would if that was what it took to stop heavy barking.

There are a lot of nice extras about using this collar.

- It doesn't seem to cause him any pain, it just startles him.

-He seems to be comfortable with it, as large as it is (we keep it loose), and can run, jump, and sleep with it on.

- It allows him to bark at a very subdued volume, which I think is nice. It's a pleasant deep soft sound, not at all bothersome, and it lets him satisfy his bark urge to a degree. It also lets him communicate when he needs something.

-If he does bark, it keeps the mosquitoes away!!

-The spray does not smell bad at all -it's almost pleasant

-It WORKS (for my doxie); after two or three single barks, he stopped completely.

-Strangely, he doesn't seem to object when I put it on him. He really lets you know if he doesn't like something, and he doesn't mind wearing this collar hardly at all.

Here are the bad things:

-If you leave it turned on, the battery will run out.

-The collar itself is quite hard to size for a smaller dog; I had to use scissors and Scotch tape, which does not hold up well.

-It IS quite large on a small dog.

We had him wear it for three weeks. Now, we just put it on him for a booster course if he barks twice in one day.

You have to remember to turn it off when you take it off, and turn it on when you put it on your dog. This becomes automatic quickly. The citronella lasts a long time; at least, it lasts a long time if it works. Some dogs apparently are not impressed by the spray and bark the reservoir empty.

There is a problem with recommending this collar, because it may or may not work for your dog. It is either the greatest thing since cut bread, or a total waste of money.

My personal experience has been great with this product. It stopped a major behavioral problem immediately, without any pain inflicted on our dog. It's a bit expensive for a product that may not work at all in an individual case. The upside though is a big one, it is a FABULOUS product if your dog responds to it.

We are very happy with the citronella bark collars. We have three dogs, all are terriers and they can get into a bark-fest. These collars have worked wonders, and are truly humane-they work without pain. I wouldn't use one of the shock collars. They are not "humane"they shock and they hurt! If you don't believe me, put it on your own neck and give it a try. I have seen dogs with burns on their necks from those. (As an aside, yes, I tried this citronella collar too. I let it spray me full in the face. Not pleasant, but not painful.) If you love your dog, try this method. BTW, don't buy the expensive replacement batteries here. They are a standard size and can be obtained at any Walgreens, Target, etc for around $3.

This collar worked great for my smart and trainable long-haired German Shepherd -effectively re-trained her barking behavior, and we quickly got to the point where she didn't need it any more. I also loaned it to a friend with a very spirited Golden Retriever, and it has worked well for their dog, although she continues to need to wear it most of the time even after a year. My mother tried it with her keeshonds, who are the most stubborn dogs I've ever met, and it really didn't work with them, even when she made adjustments for their thick fur. Of course, those dogs are pretty behaviorally challenging, and a strong shock-collar has only been moderately effective for them. So ... for a spirited but reasonably compliant dog, it has seemed to work well, but for more stubborn dogs, the barking challenge may go on and on.

Unfortunately, the collar didn't do anything for our dog. I've tried the collar multiple times (went thru the refill can already), but she is very happy to just be barking away. The only effects I can figure out in our case is that we are out $80, and the dog smells like Citronella.

On the positive side, the device has been pretty durable and sits on the dog well. Citronella just didn't work for us.

I read reviews from people who said it doesn't hold their dog. I have a smaller Labradoodle, and it works great. Pretty easy to assemble. My dog is not aggressive, so he doesn't try to break through it. I have a Subaru Tribeca and it fits fine. Wouldn't give it 5 stars, but it is just fine.

Sporn Double Dog Coupler

I really had my doubts when I bought this. I tried one of the cheaper couplers, the kind with the ring in the center and I can tell you they don't work. If one dog pulls the other gets pulled too.

I have two 13lb. Italian Greyhounds. Today I just walked down a very very crowded urban street and I had no trouble maneuvering them around all the people. I also take them running for an hour through a busy park and it works pretty darn great.

I'm not a dog trainer or anything, so I wouldn't say I have the best behaved dogs either.

SPORN is a great product. Really-I couldn't be happier (or more surprised.)

One more thing: I'm still using my retractable leash, but only for the feel of the handle. I tried to extend it, but we all got tangled up and, because of the weight, it wouldn't retract. This isn't a criticism, but just a heads up that you won't be able to extend your leash. But really, the length of the SPORN, for me and my dogs, is perfect.

(I'm not giving five stars-I'm saving that for invisible leashes that attach to my cerebral cortex)

This is a great product if you have smaller dogs. I have a miniature pinscher and a yorkie and they can walk together on this coupler. It's nice to be able to adjust the coupler if you want them to walk closer together or farther apart from each other. It's a very good product.

However, amazon needs to regulate sellers ad's better. The description reads as a universal dual lead.

This product is for large 1520 llb plus dogs only. I have 2 Yorkshire mini terriers and they can hardly pull the connection along let alone walk properly.

Not a faulty product, but should be a much clearer advertisement.

I rarely write reviews good or bad. But this coupler is great. They do not mention size in their ad, and when I got mine I freaked out because it said it was for "medium/large dogs". My dogs are 4 lbs. and 7 lbs. But I used it for the first time today and it was fantastic. It is very sturdy and well built. Larger dogs can use it too. What I like about it is that there is a long lead for each dog. The ones I tried using in the past were short and the dogs were knocking their heads together. You can shorten it if you want to.

I purchased these as I was going on vacation and my neighbor was coming over intermittently during the day to let my 3 dogs out to potty 2 are trained to a towel but I wanted to make it easy these could just be tossed instead of washing towels the first few I took out worked well but to my surprise when I got back from my vacation the ones now coming out of the same box leaked through the plastic backing plus there were 2 plastic backs one would fall off when opened. We've used the Gentle Leader with two dogs, and with patience, they are a great training tool and a relief from dogs that pull. The key is to start when they are puppies, if you have that ability. You have to make sure they are properly fitted that being tight enough on the nose and the back of the head. So make sure you buy the correct size, which means if you adopt a puppy which grows into a larger dog, you'll have to invest in another at some point. The good news is, you'll have the smaller one for when you adopt your next dog!

We have a lab puppy that is 5 months old. I have been struggling with the martingale collar trying to teach her to 'walk' rather than run and pull and make a complete mess of our quality walk time (I do it twice a day as she is full of beans and needs 2 x 20 min walks, and am the reluctantly nominated 'leader of the pack'!). I am disappointed with this product. The collar is very very narrow in width, not wide like the plain style medium sized one from Gentle Leader even though it's the same size. The clasp to keep the muzzle part in place won't stay put so it is constantly falling off my dog's muzzle. I've used other gentle leaders before and this one just wasn't the same quality.

I got the blueberry and one other; the puppies love it. Both I and my wife love the smell of it. Wonderful ingredients. unfortunately my dog didn't love it. I was under the impression for some reason that it was a softer treat, which my pug prefers; when it arrived we found it to be a hard, sunflower shaped treat. The ingredient list is definitely a draw and the taste (yes, my sister tried the treat!) was good, just would not recommend for dogs that do not want a really hard biscuit.

I have a lab that absolutely loves these. I buy the 6-pack of small dog peanut butter since they're small enough to fit in a Kong and fill it up. She loves them so much in fact that she'll bring the Kong over to me, drop it and stare at me until I pick it up and say the catch phrase; "Want me to fill it?". Once I say that, she bolts to the kitchen where I keep them and paces or sits in place until she gets it. It's almost impossible to find a good grain-free peanut butter treat and these do have barley flour as the main ingredient, which isn't bad by any stretch, but they are meant as treats and not as a primary food source, so I don't want to get too crazy about her carbohydrate intake. A dogs digestive tract processes fats and proteins first and since carbs are generally non-essential in the process and either get converted to glucose for energy or become part of the waste, they're not really needed that much. The dogs loved these treats but they gave my GSD the runs. So no more for him! I don't know if it's the ingredients or if the pup just has a sensitive stomach. So far these and mellow mut cause issues.
