I purchased one of these pet training trays to give it a try. I also purchased the 17x24 wee wee puppy underpads to go along with the tray. The wee wee pads fit this tray perfectly.

When the pad is installed, the edges point up in a groove making a 1/2 inch rim of plastic all the way around the boarder. This makes for very easy clean up when the pad is full. There is no leakage under the pad to the tray. I was so impressed with this tray that I had to purchased 2 more.

I have a 19 lbs sheltie that is home alone all day long while I am at work and sometimes the tray is overflowing, but because the tray makes the pad form a rim all the way arround the boarder, clean up is a breeze.

I would highly recommend this to anyone with small pets. PS I had purchased a different tray that had a grid on the top that eliminates the need for the wee wee pads, but unfortunately, my dog will not use the tray with the grid installed, she does her business beside the tray. And that tray was $50. I truly believe that this is a great buy and it works wonderful.

You can find these at Sams Club in the medical dept. They come in a box of 120 pads for $24.95 that measure 34x24 inches and 17x24 inches cut in half giving you 240 pads for $24.95 a savings of $.21 cents per pad.I've used these pads for 3 years now and they work great!! they have baking soda inside the pads to keep odor from being a problem and are much thicker and more absorbant I'm sure that you can find these pads where ever medical supplies are sold. But Sam's has the best price that I've found. I hope this helps.

The tray itself is neat, compact and easy to change. The only drawback is that I use Arm & Hammer weewee pads which are wider than the holder itself. So I have to fold the sides of the pad to fit and this cuts down on the amount of space the puppy can use. However, compared to the other holders, this one is cheaper and does its job. Another benefit is that my puppy used to go on the sides of the weewee pad and would sometimes spill on to my hardwood floors. Since the holder is elevated, there's a LOT less of a chance for spillage, which is great for me and great for my floors.

First of all, before anyone looks at my title and shakes their head in disgust, let me say that pads are shreddable. If your dog stands on this holder and digs...it will shred the pad. If your dog is big enough to grab the pad edge through the sides and shake vigorously, it may be drug around and/or be torn loose. The product itself cannot be blamed if your dog looks at it like a chew toy.

That being said, this is one of the better pad holders I've seen. Other holders I've looked at in pet supply stores had thin edges or no bottom and were going for 15-20 dollars. This one has a nicely rounded and attractive edge with enough thickness to it that my dogs don't like to hang over the edge. It's nicely elevated to distinctly differentiate it from the rest of the floor. And it's solid enough that the dogs don't hesitate stepping on it or feel unsecure when walking about.

I have three chihuahuas...two of them new pups...and this has been a "best buy" for me. My chis were already started on pee pads, but they would constantly walk/slide all through them while playing or occasionally grab the edge of one and beginning running around the room with it. That doesn't happen with this holder. Because of its bulky sides and slight elevation, the chis avoid it while playing just like any other piece of furniture...but it's not so high that they don't feel comfortable getting on. It also prevents side errors as they can't stand half-in and half-out like with something flush to the ground.

The materials are rounded and nicely constructed. The grommets hold the pad securely and taut without stretching or readjusting. It takes all of ten seconds to put a new pad in and snap the lid on. So far the liners have never leaked, but I do appreciate the bottom on these in case there ever were an accidental overflow. The overeall design is aesthetically pleasing, and it's not an eyesore when lying on the ground.

I honestly can't think of a better design without significantly increasing cost or switching to a more traditional litter box. An excellent buy for the money, especially with free shipping. I've now got two, and would recommend this product to anyone wanting an indoor potty system.

***Having now had this for a couple of months, let me add that I'm still extremely satisifed with my purchase. In fact, I wanted to mention one more attribute that I hadn't found until recently. Because of its slick surface and one-piece design, there's very little cleanup if an accident happens to spill over or land on the holder itself. No grooves for little messes to get into. Just a wipe here and there will get it done until it's time for the scheduled washing. Fantastic holder.

I bought this product thinking it would probably be really cheap looking and non-durable due to it's very reasonable price (1/2 of others I'd seen). I was very pleasantly surprised to find just the opposite It is very well made, very sturdy plastic and well-designed. Someone else mentioned their mini-dachshund wouldn't go near it which also concerned me as I have the same breed. She didn't use it at first but when I confined her in a small area with it she did use it and continues to do so. Dachshunds are notoriously difficult to housetrain so I don't think the product was to blame. I strongly recommend anyone considering this to go for it. In fact, I'm on this site to order another that I can put in another room for my pet.

Remote Dog Training Shock Collar for 1 Dog

Our rescue dog had been locked in an apartment bathroom for 10-12 hours a day since he was 6 weeks old. When his owner decided to give him up at 8-1/2 months of age, he had raging hormones, had had no training whatsoever, no socialization, no shots--nothing. Needless to say, he was a wild child! Moving from a city apartment to 10 acres (2 of which are fenced homesite) with cattle, cats, poultry, children and another (grumpy & old) dog was sensory overload for him to put it mildly. Leash training went extremely well, he learned that counter surfing was not okay, we're still working on jumping up on people, and he does have a problem with submissive urinating on occasion. Those are workable and solvable problems though given some time. But despite our best efforts (and we are experienced dog owners), there were some behaviors that we just could not curb and these unfortunately were somewhat urgent as they were getting worse by the day. He had decided that chasing the cats and the chickens was great fun, as well as digging under the fence to get to the calves and roam the pastures. And while I know these were just instinctive behaviors, they are also behaviors that could have disastrous results--both for the livestock and him. We have neighbors who will shoot dogs that roam the pastures and go after their cattle and he needed to learn that the fence was his roaming boundary.

When I received the shock collar (in record fast time!), I opened the package to inspect the contents. Everything was exactly as described, seemed very "sturdy" and the batteries were charged and ready to go; I just needed to read the instructions. While I haven't ever used a shock collar personally, I was familiar with the concept and knew that we would start out with the lowest settings and only graduate to the stronger currents if necessary. I strapped the unit onto the collar, fastened it around his neck and took him out on-leash. Up to this point we had been working with a choke collar at the fence/perimeter with a tug and stern "NO" each time he neared the fence, but the drive to get to those calves was just too strong and he could not help himself from trying to dig or cross the cattle guard. For this session, I walked the fence with him and as before he wanted out and continued to ignore me. Two tugs on the choke collar did nothing, so the next time he attempted it I gave him a light shock with the shock collar. His reaction was instant (and I will say somewhat comical, though I did feel bad about it). He gave a little hop in the air and immediately planted his but on the ground and looked at me as if to say "WHAT was that?" I praised him for his sit, and we continued down the fence line towards the spot he had just dug at earlier in the day. I let go of the leash and let him roam and he made a beeline for his hole. As he stuck his nose down to crawl under, I immediately gave him another slight shock as I said "NO!" He turned around and came back to me to sit. Though I never leave him out alone, I spent the next two days letting him roam the yard alone when I would take him out. Each time he approached the fence or cattle guard and was obviously thinking of going under/across, I would give him a shock and warn "NO!" (and on most occasions I was anywhere from 75-200 yards from him so the range is great!). I'm happy to report that after just 2-1/2 days it seems he has gotten the message as far as the fence is concerned. Just prior to writing this I watched him come within 2 feet of the fence, consider his options (with two calves standing just on the other side) and turn around and come back to me. We now begin the training of leaving the chickens alone but I don't think it will take him long. I used it ONCE (again on the lowest shock level) as he stepped over the threshold of the open coop when I was cleaning and he now makes a wide path around the chicken coop.

I will say here that I have decided not to use the "vibrate" feature--not as a negative but just as an fyi. My dog seems to be very sensitive to it and the vibrate option seemed to scare him more than the shock itself. However, I can see that it might be useful to a dog that is more obstinate or has a higher prey drive than mine.

Overall, this was by far the quickest and best $ I have spent on a dog product in many years. And while I was initially reluctant to use it, it turned out to be the saving grace for my sanity--and possibly my dog's life by way of the instant consequence and continued reinforcement. All of the "pieces" seem to be very well made, and come nicely boxed. OH, and I did test each setting on myself prior to first use just to make sure I wasn't going to harm him--the graduated levels are noticeable and you should take the time to evaluate which setting your dog might require. Don't start out with the highest level, but the lowest and work your way up and you'll find the setting that works for both of you.

I have a 60 lb 2yo Pit mix who is kept in a crate all day while I'm at work. When I get home he's starved for attention and shows ithe gets into EVERYTHING. It doesn't help I live in a 3 story house with 3 female roommates (and 2 cats) who leave trash cans unguarded, clothes on the floor, and doors open all the time. By the time I make it up the stairs to correct him, he's already ingested a tampon.... NOT SAFE. I've tried gates, positive reinforcement, offering alternatives like toys, Caesar's sounds and touches... he just doesn't listen.

I finally broke down and bought this "shock" collar. I put "shock" in parenthesis becaue I very RARELY have to use the shock settingthe vibration works just fine to deter my little brat. I tell him NO, wait, tell him NO again, and if he still doesn't listen I hit him with the vibrate. No lie, after the first night of using the vibrate he has started listening to my voice commands alone!!! Sometimes I say no, he doesn't listen, and I just have to reach for the remote and he stops. It's amazing after a week of owning this productI feel like I have my life back!

Absolutely excellent. I'm a fairly picky person and expect that in today's technological times we can produce products that work and function properly. This product has been outstanding! Excellent quality, great range, very flexible and most importantly: it works!!!

Charge it up, attach it onto the dogs existing collar or use the collar provided. The electrodes do not have to jam into the dogs neck, we attached it quite loose. Now get this: my dog entirely responded to the vibrate mode alone, I never needed to use the shock feature! In less then 3 days my dog stopped running outside our gates and into the street.

Last night I went out to put stuff in the mailbox....as I approached our gate our dog started to run towards me, I also noticed a mini-van coming down the street at a very fast rate...had the dog bolted past me, it would have been a perfect collision; all I had to do was say "wait" and our dog stopped and did not run out into the street. As the speeding mini-van passed (at excessive speed). I noticed a teenager laying on top of the roof grabbing onto the roof rack! Just some High School kids goofing off....but just imagine my dog having run right out in front of that mini-van...hard brakes, maybe a swerve, potential loss of control...and what about the dumb-ass kid laying on top? Yeah, pretty ugly. It never happened, and this device is what curbed that behavior. Definnitely 5-stars!

Like others I first purchased this remote shock collar due to its low price and generally good reviews. I was a bit concerned about having sealed rechargeable batteries and, sure enough, after a couple of months the collar unit went dead and would not accept a charge.

I then purchased a second unit (the price had gone down quite a bit). When it arrived I noticed that the red light on the collar unit was a bright red, indicating a good charge. However, the next day the collar unit was dead, and would not charge. I thought `dud', and made a mental note to return it to Amazon.

Doing some internet research I found a Canadian seller who sold just the collar unit (i.e., no remote) for a good price. Since I liked how the unit worked on my dog I ordered it.

The seller gave instructions on how to `pair' your old remote with the new collar unit, to wit: using a small Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw found on the collar unit; next, stick a toothpick or pin into the hole left by the screw and press down gently; when the red light begins to blink, press the `vibrate' button (the small middle one) on your remote (which should be next to the collar unit); when the red light becomes steady, your remote and collar unit are paired.

As I was doing this, I noted that using the toothpick or pin method also seemed to turn the collar unit on or off (if you do not apply steady pressure, but a quick poke). I quickly pulled out the `dud', removed the screw, inserted the toothpick, and lo and behold! The unit turned on! It works perfectly now. I guess that the unit had turned itself off somehow. I now wish I had not tossed the original unit: perhaps it had turned itself off too.

Anyway, for those who receive a `dud', try this method. As for the collar itself, we like it. It works well on our 80 pound dog, with a thick coat. To date we have not had to use the `shock': he responds beautifully to the vibration.

I was pretty reticent about using a dog zapper, but I was at my wit's end in training my German Shepherd not to run away when he was off leash, and to come when called. He was otherwise obedient, but I could not shake his idea that being off leash was a game for him to play catch-me-if-you-can. We have been very pleased with the Petsafe Venture Series LONG DISTANCE trainer. Prior to purchasing it, we borrowed several different training collars from friends and this is by far the best value for the money! In fact, it responds just a well as a system that is twice its price. It is actually better because the collar is so much lighter! I have been surprised that I can leave the collar turned on all the time and only have to recharge it once a week. The remote has a auto off/on so I haven't had to recharge it at all yet (one month). Note: My dog doesn't need continual correction so you might have to charge yours more often. The "boost" button comes in handy when our dog is heading for a neighbor's cat. Please remember with any system you buy take at least 2 days to "dummy" train your dog--they feel the collar on them and they see you pushing buttons (no batteries) but they receive no negative correction. If you fail to do this they will only obey when you have the remote with you. The 1000 yard range is wonderful. I have never written a review before, but I really wanted to recommend this product.

Product seems to function as advertised with tones and shocks working. Dogs respond well to both stimulations. Quality of product is very FRAGILE. Both reciever and transmitter housing made of very thin plastic. Collar is very stretchy rubber that even when applied tight, a big dog can still get a toe nail in and forcefully take off his neck. I bought the extra collar also so I could train 2 dogs at once. 1st collar broke off in the woods somewhere, dog came back without it. 2nd collar dog removed it himself a couple of times and I found it in the yard, but the last time he removed he decided to chew it up. Petsafe customer service says they would replace if defective but dont consider a collar that a dog can remove or that breaks while running through the brush a defect.???? Just as a note while in the brush all 5 of my dogs always wear tracking collars for past several years and never once has one of them ever come off. Innotek adv 1000 was a good sturdy product made by petsafes "sister" company that I used problem free for many years but they discontinued it and now recommend petsafe as the replacement,dont be fooled.

Barney the 18 mth old Lakeland Terrier tried hard to beat us out of the door & barked whenever we left the room when we wanted him to stay behind. It was so annoying and despite our best efforts we were not having any success. We thought a good flogging would do the trick but we love the mutt too much for that. So what to do???

The "Remote Trainer" was the answer.. We read the training instructions..He's a smart dog and after a couple of jolts with the remote trainer he got the message.. We now only have to resort to the tone signal for him to sit quietly as we make our escape..good dog..

In the Yard, he went ferral when the postman called.. couple of jolts.. got the message, don't bark and leap up at the gate at postmen, passerbys, visitors.

In the park he would chase and retrieve a ball but would not give it up, preferring instead to prance around, in the hope that I would give chase to get it(something the grandkids would do). With the help of the remote trainer and a pocket full of dog treats he now retrieves the ball drops it at my feet(tone only) sits and gets a treat.. Yes...

This is still a work in progress but he has become a much more manageble dog..our anxiety level has gone down, which means his has as well..Good product.. I recommend.

I recently purchased the PetSafe PDT00-11876 and have nothing but great results. We have a 90 pound hound that is a fairly obedient dog while he is on leash. However, the moment the leash is removed, he would take off as fast as possible. After having the collar on him for about a half a day of training, we are able to go for hour long walks without the use of a leash. He stays close by and when he does want to run, he never goes further than about 100 ft then he comes back. He did get out to about 300 ft in an open field, when I though it was far enough, I only needed to use the tone. He stopped, turned around and came right back. There was no calling for him or worries that he would not return.

I did read in another review that the collor may loosen or fall off. To prevent this, I secured the collar as the instructions stated, then I secured the collar clasp with a small zip tie.

Looking back I wish I had purchased this two years ago. My dog is so much happier being able to walk around without the restraint of a leash.

Got the collar for my bear of a lab, it works great for training! Tried other methods of training, this did the trick to stop bad habits, not good when you have a 100lbs of dog jumping on people. The collar does great for aiding in basics and especially when you are trying to gain confidence with your dog off lease. I left my dog with collar on when I went to the bathroom came out, some how he took the collar off, and chewed it up some. I called the company to try and purchase just the collar and was refused because it wasn't covered by warranty! I asked for just the collar to purchase and I was denied again, just offered to pay the $200 again, which I originally paid for it. What the company did not tell me was that I can purchase a new collar, as a "second collar." I found this out by the research on the internet. I wanted to wait a few weeks before I sent in this review to really test it out on my dog in just about every situation I could. First let me say that ordering the product from Amazon was smooth and easy, also getting the usual conformation was a breeze too. But there was a slight snag in the delivery which was immediately straighten out by the company that mailed the product, "MuttMart". I can't say enough about the customer service that MuttMart provided me. When they discovered the shipping problem they IMMEDIATELY fixed the issue and stay on top of the problem until I had product in hand! Great job MuttMart!!!!

Now as for the collar itself, all I can say is it is like I have a brand new highly trained animal that walks and obeys every command I give him. Before I got the collar my dog was extremely smart and extremely stubborn! He wanted to do only what he felt like doing and obeyed when he was tired of running around. Now he is alert and keeps constant eye contact with me. And for the startling part... I have only had to use the nip button twice, and the vibrate five times! (Yes I was keeping count!) lol, I haven't even turned the collar on for two days, I'm going to see how long I can get away with just putting the collar on him and giving oral commands to him!

As Dogtra advises it is best if your animal knows commands and has some training so they understand that you are trying to communicate with them. I won't say this is the answer for everyones animal problems, but the collar solved my problems almost overnight! I will say if you have no experience with this type of tool don't use it because you could very easily ruin your animal with the abuse of it. As I mentioned earlier, I have only used the nip button twice and have never used the constant button because it simply wasn't needed. Also my dog is a good size animal, almost 100 lbs and I have never raised the level of the controller near the half-way mark. I keep mine in the 25-35 range and it works just fine. But my dog runs up to me now when he sees the collar because he know we are going to have fun and get a good work out together. Well enough of my going on, great product and it worked well for me. I would definately recommend it to others for their dog problems!

I have the 282 which is the two dog version of the 280 and love it. My dogs love it too.

When we adopted three dogs from the spca at the same time we were overwhelmed. On walks they would be constantly pulling. If I let them off the leash they would take off in the forest.

That all ended with the Dogtra ecollars. Now my dogs stay with me on walks, come when called, and don't cause trouble. Simply put an ecollar is a way for two different species to communicate.

I've used this collar for a week now on a very smart foxterrier/lab mix. We walk on our property daily with our dogs and have a lot of deer and other wild life that we don't want our dogs to chase. This collar works very well at very low settings. I've only had to use the nick a couple of times. She responds very quickly to the page setting. CON: the only gripe is the way the systems turns on and off. You have to match up the red dots while turning the remote "on" to get the collar to turn on, kinda cumbersome at times. My DT trainer for our other dog has a separate on/off button on the collar which is much easier. I do like the size of the remote and the fact that you can clip it on your belt or hang it around your neck. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the unit.

I purchased the 280 from Amazon to correct behavior issues with my 65 lb Lab (a rescue). She's four years old and very smart. She was already trained and knew the commands we were giving her. She listened indoors but simply opted to ignore us when she was outdoors and off-lead. Like many other dogs, she would head for the forest to chase critters and smell the smells.

My wife was horrified at the idea I would choose to purchase a 'shock collar'. I explained that I've used them before while training dogs and 'shock' is probably not an accurate term if used correctly. The aim should not be to hurt or punish the dog. Rather, just get the dog's attention when distracted by other stimulus (this is my opinion, anyway). Instructions should be read carefully before using this device.

My fear is people will purchase this device and use it incorrectly. Used incorrectly, this could really be a cruel device; creating a cowering and neurotic dog. If you're hesitating, remember that the person operating the device controls whether it is a cruel device or not. The dog should be trained to know and respond to your commands BEFORE you use this device. Please take advantage of many videos and articles available on the internet which demonstrate proper training and use of stim collars. Dogtra could improve the product by including a DVD or book with training tips. There are lots of ways to use this device but it is not an english-to-canine translator. ('nuf said.)

The collar has adjustable stim settings from 0-127. Previous collars I've used did not offer this amount of control. I really think the ability to fine-tune it is important. Our dog responds when the transmitter is set to 17. I can't even imagine using it set to 127. I wonder if the dog would simply disappear in a brilliant flash and a puff of smoke *POOF*. I required everyone in the house to get 'shocked' by the collar set at 20 before they were permitted to use it on the dog and instructed not to use it above 20. This setting provided a sensation similar to pins and needles when applied to the palm of my hand. My 11 year-old son said it tickled and pulled his hand away. Some dogs or situtations may require a higher setting, especially while highly stimulated or distracted, e.g. chasing another dog or pursuing 'prey'. This can be done with the turn of the knob on top of the transmitter. The digital display shows the current setting.

The result of of our training using this collar has been nothing short of amazing. I used stimulation (at 17) during about 45 minutes of on-lead training to reinforce commands she already knew. I've only had to used the stim button twice. This was the first time I let her off lead. My wife and sons say they've only used it one time; only the first time they had her off-lead. The collar also has a paging mode which makes the collar vibrate like a typical cell phone. I've tried this but did not train her with it. She looked confused the first time I used it but she did look back at me and obeyed my command. From now on, I think I'll use it first.

Overall, I really believe it's made her life more enjoyable. She's able to run freely and play off-lead which she really loves. We have not had to push ANY buttons on the transmitter since those first days of training. Your mileage may vary. For us, this collar has been a miracle.

The collar is made well and a good size. It's easy to set up and use. It recharges easily and the units hold a charge for many uses. The transmitter seems to last longer (must have a larger battery). The LED on the collar indicates when the battery is low. I can confirm it's waterproof since she's been swimming several times while wearing the collar.

Product works great! I have a very stubborn pit and I was thinking to buy the stronger version of this collar. Well, all what I can say is: this product works great even for very stubborn dogs, and to be honest, I do not see the need for a collar more powerful than this one! If you are needing more power than this, it is probably because you do not know how to use it properly! Most of us who buy e-collars are first time users and tend to be already really frustrated with our dogs.. I would say that without any in depth knowledge on how to use it properly, it becomes very easy to use it in a wrong way! And that is the reason I decided to do this review!

Even though I already have some dog training experience, at first I was very ignorant about E-collars. When I received this product, instinctively I charged and by the next day I was already testing on my dog! What a disaster!!! I did not know much so I took the dog to the park to train her to recall... I started at the lowest level and slowly I cranked up!! Well the dog did not respond at all!! I thought that it was not strong enough and cranked up until almost level 110! The dog did not know what I wanted and very quickly started to get VERY frustrated! At the time I was thinking; great, wasted money! It is not strong enough or something... Well, I decided to test on me and holly sh#@$, that was strong! There was no way my dog wasn't feeling that, so thankfully after that I realized that the problem wasn't the dog but me and therefore I decided to research more deeply about how to use it!!! What a surprise!! After several days learning, watching videos and etc... I slowly introduced the collar to my dog, found the right level of stimulation and used it properly!!! It has been 1 month since I started this new approach and owwwwwwww what a change! This collar works wonders!!! I do not even have to use stimulation anymore, just the pager! My dog is responsive, reliable and recalls every single time!

Summarizing: this collar works great!! But this product is definitely not for amateurs! Do a favor to your dog and yourself; before using it, research lots on how to use it properly! Especially because this collar does not come with instructions!

The product itself is very well built and the only complain I have is that the plastic caps covering the AC plugs never seal properly! I hope this review helps future buyers; cheers.

A bit pricey when compared to cheapo grain and cheese snacks, but well worth the extra expense to feed them something better suited to their diet that they love.

These are great treats, that the dog loves. I usually cut them up a bit, so the dog doesn't vacuum them down so fast. And they are made in the USA, which is very important to us.

Bought this because the shorter days means we often get out at night, plus at the cottage there is no lights on the yard and we couldn't see where our dog was.

Unfortunately, the light is VERY uneven, it's bright at the "source" and gets very dim afterwards; the last seciton is not even lit at all. There is a large area that has no light (clip + battery/button), if there were spaced apart it would've been better to have two small parts without light instead of one large area.

Also, the collar is very wide for the size. Our dog has a small collar but the width would be fine for a much large dog. I guess all sizes have the same width.

In the end, we'll try another option with multiple lEDs, at least the output will be consistent. We are very disappointed with the product.

This collar came well packed. The collar is bright and looks strong enough to last. I gave it Three stars because my dog wears a small collar from a pet store. I purchased a small size for both my dogs. when it came they were very big. I could wrap the collar around my shitzu almost twice. The neck size that came was a 15 inch. That's not a small size. My dog is a 10 inch. So if you have a small dog who is smaller than a 15 inch do not buy these collars as they are not true to their size.

Our 5 month old puppy loves these! They're great for training since they are 1 calorie per treat, according to the Fromm website. Since our dog is a small breed, we break each treat into 2 or 3 pieces for training so it's easier for him to chew quickly (this also makes the treats last longer).

The container of dog treats was delivered quickly. My dog is iffy on eating these. I can only give one every blue moon. Most of the other dogs I have tried it on were not crazy about it either.

This video came as a "bonus video" when we ordered a video about Training Your Cocker Spaniel Puppy. So we watched it with our 18 week old Cocker Spaniel Sandy and she really enjoyed it. She sat there wagging her tail and actually tried to jump up at the TV a few times. It really seemed to hold her attention. It runs for just about 30 minutes but then repeats over and over again. We would not have purchased this video separately, but were surprised how good it was when it came as a bonus video included with the training DVD we ordered.

We have seven cats that were happy when we bought a new couch and love seat for them to destroy. Even though we have several cat scratchers, they chose the new furniture. Now I don't have to cover them up when I leave home and I can enjoy looking at our furniture. I sprayed all around the bottom and up the sides of both and now no more scratching! This has worked like a charm for the two retriever puppies we've had. It doesn't stain or have much of an odor (to humans), but has worked very well to stop chewing on household surfaces. It seems to wear off of fabrics in a couple of days, but lasts longer on smooth surfaces.

The spray doesn't work well on hands or clothing at our house. Also, several friends have reported that their older dogs actually appear to like the taste, so it obviously doesn't work for every dog. I suspect it works best for stopping a puppy chewing habit from forming rather than breaking a well-established habit, but it's inexpensive enough to seem worth trying even in those situations.

This product works really great and doesn't seem to stain or anything. Our Cockapoo puppy is in her chewing phase and we were having all kinds of problems with her chewing things. So we bought this and it works well. She sometimes even makes this cute little whine when we spray things complaining that we're taking her fun away.

I've found that for things like leashes and shoes that rub against other things all day this wears off quickly and you need to spray them every 2-4 days, but for things like cords, cables and the bottoms of chairs I haven't had to respray as the only thing rubbing against them and wearing off the spray is the puppy who's no longer doing so.

Been watching this product for the longest time, but just managed to stop by my local Petsmart and pick it up. I wish I had gotten it MONTHS ago! I've got a 10 month old Pomeranian who loved to chew on everything. Shoes, walls, furniture, cords, doorstops, you name it.
