We purchased this system due to the fact that we have 5 acres of open land and lots of neighboring cows for our dogs to chase. With my 2 older dogs, who have always been able to run loose, we took about two weeks of training them as instructed. They had no problem in learning. We then brought a young dog to our home who had always been enclosed in a yard with chain link fencing. Trained one very briefly, on lowest setting it ran thru boundary fencing, turned up the power, and along with the flags, the dog never ventures near boundary. Two very young strays, with whom we could not train due to the fact that they would not do the leash....put the collars on them, they accidentally went into boundary, with our visual supervision over a period of about a week, and they did not attempt doing that again. We then had to put boundary fencing around the area of where we park our cars, due to the destructive natures of the younger dogs who scratched several cars chasing a cat, they do not enter the boundary zone....in fact, when flags went up, they totally understood their meaning!!! excellent product that works with any age or stubborness of dogs. i highly recommend this product. Also, works just as well after water exposure, as our dogs love the pond, water does not affect the products effectiveness. i give this system 5 stars.

We already have the sport dog in ground fence system and love it! We got this collar for our little dog who is less than 20lbs. It is big on him but can be cut down to size. It fits our Husky perfectly. The little dog was able to get used to it quickly. I had contemplated the smaller versions but with proprietary batteries, it seemed like a poor idea. These collars take a standard 9v and the batteries have lasted nearly a year so far in our other collar without replacement. It is a good system, but not for dogs under 20lbs for sure even though they say as long as their over 10lbs.

I love the invisible fence system these people sell, it was easy to instal and maintain. My only gripe would be on the collars themselves. The screws absolutely suck. Maybe it is just my dogs or even me, but the screws get dirt/sand/debris lodged into the head of the screw and just underneath enough to make turning the screw a pain in the rear. When I need to change the battery, I try to clean the screws out to the best of my ability so I can get a screwdriver in. This is a pain and it seems like there should be a better way. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to let me know.

I have the full setup from Sport Dog, the underground fence sending unit and four collars. If you click on my name you can read my review on the whole setup. These Collars are by far the best on the market. They are adjustable as far as the correction goes which allows you to turn the shock up or down or to vibrate only. The material the collar is made from is bright orange, somewhat reflective, and very durable material. The collar uses a regular 9 volt battery which last a long time, at least a year. Many of the other collars from other companies use large watch batteries which only last a few months. My collars have had plenty of abuse and water time. They are still working just as they did when they were new.

If you have a large dog and are looking for an underground fence collar, this is by far the best one available.

Awesome collar and in-ground fence system! We bought a second collar when we got our second dog and the receiver works great! We have two big golden retrievers (86 and 90 lbs) who like to run, play and visit with everyone so it was essential that we keep them contained. The collar has adjustable shock/warn strengths. We had to amp it up when the flags disappeared during the snowy weather but we can turn it down now that they've learned not to go past the boundary. One REALLY nice thing is that the battery is a regular one that you can buy anywhere and is much less expensive than some of the little disc batteries required for products like this.

Two reasons to not give it a five star rating: (1) For the amount of money you spend on just one collar, it would have been nice to have the receiver be a little bit smaller. It's just kind of bulky but I would think more so on smaller dogs. (but then the battery would have to be smaller and probably more expensive) (2) We have had the fence system for a few years now and the collar that comes with the receiver cracks and needs to be replaced about once a year. Perhaps not though with more docile dogs but ours play with each other every day and sometimes they get a little rough.

I bought this item for a dog that pulls on his lead. It is thick enough that it does not choke him but provides good control. Colors are great and it fit my lab springer spaniel mix perfectly. The D ring is very sturdy.

Yes, bully sticks are kind of expensive. Yes, they stink. But, unlike rawhides, they're fully digestible and do not expand in the stomach or intestines.

I cut 9" sticks in half with a Dremmel, so they last longer. If you're going to cut them, though, be sure to do it outside. I cut one with a Dremmel cutter in the house and it was the worst.stench.ever. Also, don't take them outside in warm weather. They attract flies like crazy!

All that aside, our little shark of a GSD pup loves bully sticks! Inch for inch, this pack is one of the best deals out there. And it's cheaper than replacing our carpeting and woodwork. Puppies *WILL* chew. It is our responsibility as dog owners to give them something safe and fun to express their natural urge to chew. And bully sticks are among our pup's favorites.

Our dog is a miniature dachshund but chewed through these a few days each. My biggest issue was they reeked of rotting flesh. I could smell them from over 5 feet away. Dog still loved them though.

I have this treats for 1 year already. All I can tell my dog never gets tired of them. The do have a strong smell and do not create mess. So very convenient.

Pros you will save money buying in bulk. They are highly overpriced in pet stores.

they last forever if you use them as treats and not overfeed to your dog.

if your dog loves cheese your dog will love the treats.

Cons break easily and hard to use to hide a pill in. My dog will chew through them and spit the pill out, so the smell might be not strong enough to actually cover some smelly pills stink.

my dog will experience discomfort and loose stool if he overeats the treat. So I can only give 2-3 a day. My dog is 65 lbs. So would not recommend for smaller dogs with sensitive stomachs.

I am not an expert in dog nutrition and cannot give any opinion but I would like to do more research about ingredients and see what may be causing reaction in my dog.

My dog is not very food motivated, so in order to get his undivided attention during training class, I need to have a seriously kick-ass treat. He LOVES these in the cheddar and salmon flavors. When he starts to pay more attention to the other dogs than me, I just wave this in front of his nose and BAM! I left the bag on the table and noticed one of my cats purring and dying to get into the bag. To my surprise, both of the cats gobbled these treats up. These are great.

Buying a few of these from our local store, we quickly realized how overpriced they were. Buying in bulk from Amazon has saved us a bunch of money, and our dogs still enjoy their favorite treats. There have not been any issues with these treats causing "bathroom" issues, in fact these were recommended as easy on the stomach for puppies and dogs. The bacon cheese flavor and duck are also great! The reason why I gave only 4/5 stars is because these are a little big for smaller dogs and I have to cut them in half for our 17lb cavaliers.

I prefer the liver as they stick to hard cookies and you can stick pill inside without it breaking. If you're just going to give them to your dogs as is, they are fine.

These treats are fantastic not only for training, but for most interactive toys. A lot of interactive toys have size constraints, and larger treats won't fit. These fit in just about every (I say "just about" because I'm sure there's a toy out there somewhere that won't work) interactive toy there is.

They're on the small side, so they will work well for most puppies too.

We buy every flavor for our three dogs, and they seem to like the Cheddar and Liver flavors the best.

I would note these treats would probably be categorized as "mid-value". They are high quality treats, with good ingredients, made in the United States. We currently buy every flavor we can on Amazon through Subscribe and Save, if that says anything about how we feel about them. However, if you're working with a fearful dog (which tend to be too anxious to take any sort of treat outside of meat or cheese), these may not work. Every dog is different, and you would have to see what your dog likes in stressful situations.

Two of our three dogs have sensitive stomachs, and they have had no problems with these (any flavor).

Look at the picture of the product, See the metal crimp at each end that is used to create the loop? The one that goes through the ring is the problem. When the collar is opened to its max, i.e. ring to ring, the crimp lies inside of the choke ring. If there is any kind of tension from the pull/leash end and the crimp comes into contact with the choke ring, it binds and can't be pulled through. It renders the choke collar to a fixed length collar. I've tried yanking at the leash but that didn't work. The crimp does a great job at binding with the ring. Very annoying.

IRIS Containment Pen Add-On Panels, CI-600, for the CI-604 Pet Pen, 2-Piece

I love the pen, and the original size was fine when our puppy was first brought home at 8 weeks old and only about 5 lbs., he has doubled in size and needed more room so I ordered the extra panels to enlarge the pen. The size is great but the sides become flimsy when attaching the extra panels, the puppy does jump on the sides when he's excited to see us. I had to make a crossbar out of wood for the center of the pen, it sits across the top, I screwed 2 shorter pcs. onto each end so they hold the sides in place and then zip-tied them to the sides. It works great and gives it the support and stability it needs, I just wish there were a metal bar made for this purpose when expanding the pen.

I also use this pen on carpeting and to protect it I purchased the foam interlocking flooring that is used for playrooms, gyms etc. I cut it to size and then tiled the smooth side of it with vinyl self stick tiles. It looks great and the self made floor keeps the pen square and protects the carpeting beneath. It is easy to keep clean, when I expanded the pen I just made another flooring section for it.

I purchased the CI-604 Pet Pen several months back; it is a pleasing light grey color with flecks. (The product description does not indicate a color, but it appears white in the image.) I am pleased with the pen and it has worked out well for my pet's needs.

I later wanted to expand the size of the pen, but decided attaching a second pen would be too much. I waited until there was a reduction in price for the 2-Piece Add-On Panels for the CI-604 Pet Pen as they initially seemed absurdly expensive, considering the price of a complete 4-Piece Pen, which includes the door. There is also no indication of color in this product description; I assumed it would match the Pet Pen.

The Add-On Panels turned out to be bright white, and while they fit the pen, the color does not match and it detracts from the overall appearance of it. I contacted Amazon but customer service did not seem to be able to find out from shipping what the story is with the color variations in the pen or panels and suggested I return it, which really doesn't solve my problem. I want the add-on panels; I just want them to match the color of the pen. I considered buying another 4-Piece Pen to attach instead, but it sounds like a gamble as to what color will show up this time.

If color coordination isn't a concern for you, then this isn't a problem, I guess. I personally don't think it's a lot to ask from a purchase.

I bought these with the IRIS 4 panel pet pen, and it arrived on time. It is exactly what I was looking for.

Simple to add on to the other pen, and very sturdy.

I Highly recommend these over the metal alternatives. I've had the other type and they were always getting rusty, bent or crushing my fingers when trying to move them or set them up. These are sturdy and much easier to handle.

The best part is that they have little rubber feet on the bottom so I can safely have it on my wooden floors without worrying about scratches.

It's the perfect size for the new litter of puppies we just had, the 6 panels make a great size pen.

We purchased the four panel pen when the two Yorkies were very small and I was not sure how our old Llasa Apso would accept them. They were just the right height for me to bend over and too small for the other dogs to try jumping in. But as they grew we decided the added panels would be nice when we were outside. We live in a very rural mountainous area of Kentucky. Coyotes and mountain lions are not unheard of here, so these tiny puppies still cannot be let out to play without supervision. If I can just go sit they will play close to where I am, if I am gardening and paying them no attention with all the toys in the world they still fuss and I usually put them in the house. For what it was designed for, the extra panels make great sense. It gives the dogs more room to move around when they cannot be free, but the smaller size is great for their security feeling for sleeping. Thankfully they are very easy to put up and take apart. It is very sturdily made and if I needed another I would certainly not hesitate to buy. However these have the appearance and usage that suggests they will never need to be replaced. I would think they would be great for breeders when they are showing pups to those who want to buy one.

I read a review on these add on panels that said they received panels of the wrong color, or more accurately the color was off. I ordered anyway and I am happy to report that my panels arrived today and they perfectly match my Iris puppy pen :) Couldn't be happier. I can't imagine actually housing a puppy in the iris pen without this additional space!

The quality of this product is absolutely impressive given its price! I have found training tabs invaluable in training my dog, especially for off-leash training. However, I've tried many different kinds only to find that the traditional swivel bolt snap used on most leashes and training tabs alike come off my dog's collar at the most inconvenient times! Tired of paying $12 to $20 for a tab I would soon lose, I decided to try this one simply because it was cheap.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this one is the first short training tab to incorporate a carabiner-type snap. This snap CANNOT come off because the mechanism closes from the inside of the snap, so pulling on the tab just closes the snap. On top of that, the tab itself feels very sturdy and wide so I can get a good grip on it and easily control a large dog. Another wonderful quality is the fact that it is so lightweight and does not weigh down the dog's collar, so I can leave it on him a long time and get true off-leash reliability.

I was also thrilled with the design. Not only does Dog Tag Art give us a good quality and durable training tab, but it is stylish and colorful too! I am blind so I did not know that it actually has pictures of turtles in the design I simply picked it because of the price. But I am a big fan of turtles I've had 45 of them as pets throughout my life! So this surprise made this product even better than I could have hoped!

I wish other manufacturers of common leashes and tabs would take a lesson from this one and use the same carabiner style snap. Too many great quality products I've tried out proved hopelessly useless and a waste of money because when my dog pulled or rolled the leash came off.
