Easy Walk Harness - Medium, Green-Black

Easy Walk Harness - Medium, Green-BlackI have a 9 month old beagle mix puppyshe weighs about 50 pounds and is an extreme puller. Even after going through training and constantly working on walking, we still had problems with pulling. I wasn't expecting miracles from this harness, but had heard good things about it and decided to give it a try as I was getting tired of being tugged around by my dog. From the first time I walked her with it on, it was a complete turn around from previous walks. She usually pulls hard on the leash and is the one leading on walks, but with this harness, I now feel in control. Whenever the leash gets taught, she slows down to let it go slack again and is very responsive to the feeling of the harness. I am truly impressed. I no longer have to hold the leash with an iron fist, but can hold it comfortably at my side. Walking with her now is actually enjoyable. It does not change any behavioral issues, but is a good tool to help correct this particular unwanted behavior.

A trainer recommended this style of harness to me 7 years ago and it's all that I've used for my two active dogs ever since. They hold up very well and last for a long time. The only reason I've had to buy more if that my boxer occasionally chews his way through one when we are traveling and forget to take it off him. It' 100% keeps them from pulling us all over the place and allows me to manage two crazy dogs in a busy city environment. Best harness out there, in my opinion!!

IRIS Training Pad Holder, Small, Pink

IRIS Training Pad Holder, Small, PinkThis small tray is the best thing since sliced bread!

Pads we use: 22 x 22

We own three dogs, two of which are younger than three years old. I trained our second youngest to use his wee wee pads two days after bringing him home (when he was only three months old) and he uses them flawlessly. We took our youngest dog in at the age of 10 months, however, and she wasn't pad trained very well. Everytime she saw our older dog use his wee wee pad she'd follow suit but almost always missed. We tried to run out with her in the mornings and evenings to ensure we wouldn't get stuck wiping tiles and floors but sometimes we couldn't avoid the mess and I was becoming increasingly frustrated. She knew she could use the pad but she just couldn't get it in the middle! We tried using two pads, changing its position, its location, and spraying the middle of the pad with liquid training products, but nothing worked.

Convinced that there had to be a way to get her to wee in the middle of the pad, I searched and found that people recommended using a tray the most, so I searched through Amazon and found this one here. It was slightly cheaper than most trays I'd found, it was a good size, and it looked cute. The holder arrived quickly and came in a sealed bag with instructions. Because it was so new to her, she refused to use it for a few days but as soon as she saw our older dog use it too, she followed suit. As soon as we noticed that she was starting to go on it, we'd be ready to praise her. She's now using it without an issue (for both #1 and #2!!), she always tinkles RIGHT ON IT, and our floors have seen at least 90% less accidents.

The pads we use are much larger than the tray but I fold the sides under and it holds on to it perfectly! If your dog is tearing up his/her pads or missing the pad altogher, I totally recommend this pad holder/tray.

I bought this and I was scared that it would be too small. But it wasnt at all. A great size for my puppy who's about 12lbs.

This product is excellent! It held the pad in place, no leaks whatsoever. But even with a small 5 pound chihuahua it was too small. She fit on it fine but if yours likes to move around as mine does to, "pick the perfect spot", to go potty this would not be for you. I would order from this seller again, fast shipping!

Male Doggy Wrap Black - Small

Male Doggy Wrap Black - SmallThis is the only wrap that doesn't leak. And, you can save money by using heavy Kotex inside the wrap instead of buying the ones they try to sell with the wrap. The only caution is to not go by the pounds listed on the sizing chart because that doesn't work well for small dogs. Instead, measure your dog's girth and get the info. from Sam's website before ordering. My 13 pound Bichon wears a medium, not a small.

I've tried others and this wrap is waterproof and comfortable for the dog. Highly recommended!

Most comfortable wrap I've found for my male dogs that like to mark their territory in the house. It's flexible, not too thick and easily washed. For the absorbent part, I use a regular human baby diaper (size 2-3), turn it long ways, fold the elastic edges back on themselves (to make a long rectangular strip out of the diaper) and then wrap that around the dog's abdomen, securing it with the diaper tabs)--the dog wrap provides extra security and also "hides" the diaper so it's not so obvious.

In terms of sizing, dimensions of the wrap are listed on the amazon site, which is helpful. I purchased a "small" for my 12 lb chihuahua, who measures about 17 1/2 inches around. Bear in mind that the length is the MAX length of the wrap, so there is a several inch span of velcro to allow for adjusting. If your little boy measures 17-18" around, it will be pretty snug with the majority of velcro exposed, so you may want to consider going up to the medium.

D.T. Systems 190DT No Bark Trainer, Black

D.T. Systems 190DT No Bark Trainer, BlackThis worked very well. Our mastiff stopped barking at everything. Now she only barks at the collar when we take it off lol.

This Trainer collar works, but not well on our dog. Maybe its because we have a Mastiff. She barks right through it. I have turned it all the way up and it doesnt really bother her. If you have a big dog I would try something diffrent

Italian Basket Muzzle - Size 8 - Black

Italian Basket Muzzle - Size 8 - BlackI bought this for my female german shepherd. I have used it repeatedly when we have contractors working at our house for added piece of mind. I also take her to the vets with it on per the vets request. She has never bitten anyone but it is nice to know I can prevent it from happening also. It has held up to her mashing it into the ground, my legs (ouch), and trees in attempt to get it off. once she has it on for a few moments she tends to forget about it. She can drink with it and eat. I did have to make my own hole in the strap to make it tight enough around her neck. I did all the measuring ahead of time and it fits otherwise.

My dog eats his own poop. Twice now, he has barfed up literally a half to a full gallon of vomit (dog is over 90 lbs) filled with the *piles* of crap he'd eaten from outside that had time to rot in his stomach for a few hours. Before you say, maybe we should clean our back yard more often... we do. The dog can poop mountains in one event, and then will turn around and eat his crap. I have seen him do it. Diarrhea doesn't phase him. I have worked at a vet clinic for years, have worked in the human hospital environment as well so I have cleaned *tons* of some of the worst poop, puke, blood, guts, etc both human and animal and I have NEVER smelled something so awful and vile as this. The first time he threw it up, I was livid. The second time, I knew I had to take drastic measures to prevent this (the vet told us to put meat tendorizer in his food. what a joke), or he wouldn't survive his 3rd event. Now I have the muzzle and it will go on every time he goes outside.

This product has a warning on it to not leave your dog unsupervised while he's wearing it... but the way I see it, without the muzzle, he will have a 100% chance of, at some point, eating his crap and throwing it up again in the house. That means he will have a 100% chance of being strangled if we don't use the muzzle. So anything less than that suits me fine.

I do think if my dog was more motivated, he could get this off, but so far he hasn't. When I first put it on, he half heartedly tried to get it off and then just drooped his head and looked up at me like, "why? why would you do this?" He's tolerated it since. He's kind of a slug though, so if you have a really determined, high energy dog, they might be able to destroy this pretty quickly. I kind of wish the strap that goes around his ears was more like the strap on the cloth muzzles they use at the vet. It would be easier to put it on quickly, and I think you could get it on tighter. Plus it'd probably be more comfortable for the dog.

I do really like the front grill. It's the reason why I picked this muzzle. I am *positive* that at some point he will try ramming the muzzle into a pile of poop and I think the grill will help ensure he doesn't get a mouthful. If he manages to drill it in there far enough and get poop, I plan on taping some cardboard over the front grill only. If that works, I'll probably switch it to some type of plastic so I can just hose it off. At any rate, I don't think he'll be able to eat as much poop anymore, and hopefully it will eliminate it altogether.

UPDATE

So my prediction was right. I changed it to 3 stars because they really need to make this better for poop eaters if it's designed specifically for problems with chewing and not aggression. For the first time, I left him alone with the muzzle on outside for only a few minutes. I needed a break from him after I came home to a mess he made from ripping open packets of taco seasoning and spreading it all over his bed. So I went to check on him outside and the front part of the muzzle was clogged with crap, and the muzzle was hanging off on the side of his face, so he probably got some poop. I can only hope that he was distracted enough trying to get the muzzle off that he didn't get much poop.

***I did alter the muzzle. On another occassion, I had left the muzzle out when we left, and he chewed JUST the portion off that contains the holes (he is smart enough to do this, but still eats his own crap... I don't know....). So I used a headband and that actually kept it on his face tighter than the strap. However, I think the stretchiness of the band allowed him to get it off. I am purchasing a replacement muzzle, and may get another brand as well. In the mean time, I'm going to try to find another way to make sure it doesn't come off... after I hose of the muzzle.....

I bought this on Amazon on October 11, and here I am On December 1 online buying a replacement. I bought this to put on my 1 year old rescue to keep her from chewing me out of house and home. The only things this dog will not chew are the toys I buy for her, and trust me she has more toys then petsmart. I have tried everything. Bitter spray, raw hides, every brand and make of bone, toy, chew I can find. She has destroyed 2 remotes so far, and I caught her trying to eat my cell phone twice. This seemed like a perfect solution. Sadly she has broken the plastic in 2 places and is able to get her mouth out. She never wears it outside, so no trees, or concrete to use to smash or wear it down. I came home today to a torn open bag of dog food, torn apart baby wipes and I cannot find the tv remote..... I am switching to a metal model. She is not a big power breed or anything. She is a smallish flat coated retriever for pity sake.

I bought this muzzle for my dog a couple of years ago and it is my favorite muzzle to use on her. It allows my dog to open her mouth if she needs to pant, and she can be fed treats through the grills. She hates it, but for peace of mind this is the best option for me. The other muzzles restrict dogs from being able to open their mouths and on hot days where panting is inevitable those muzzles make it very difficult. The muzzle is very durable! My dog has dragged it on concrete, and hit it against other things attempting to take it off, and I always have it in the trunk of my car and it has withstood the extreme hot temperatures experienced in South Florida.

Highly recommend this product! Make sure to take proper measurements.

This type of muzzle is the best imo but the quality of this one is mediocre. The plastic had sharp edges which cut my dogs face. I trimmed the sharp edges with a knife and made them more rounded which works well, but I shouldn't have to do quality control, it should be done prior to shipment.

Sanitary Dog Pants Medium 12.5 x 15.25This product is made very well but it does not stay on my yorkie. Within 5 minutes it had slipped off. Even if it stayed on it would not be comfortable for this type of breed. Because it is well made it is kind of stiff.

This vendor provided excellent service.

I found these pants are hard and uncomfortable. My dog was miserable.

As far as I am concerned they were a Waste of money.

Outward Hound Smoothride Lookout Car Booster Seat for DogsI really liked the product, however my dog wasn't as impressed. Go figure, he is use to having open range in my truck. I was recently in a bad car accident and my little dog was with me and he flew out of the window luckily with no injures. This is the reason I got the booster seat for him. I feel much better knowing he is secure in the vehicle. I really like the booster seat I feel good knowing that he is secure, and knowing that if anything would happen he would be safer. I get a lot of complements on this product. Everyone thinks he looks adorable in his car seat!

Very happy with the customer service ! Postage was quick and once recieved they were very helpful in assisting me with my questions I had. Very very helpful.

R2 Fish School Complete Fish Training Kit

R2 Fish School Complete Fish Training KitGot the training kit and think it is pure genius. I have been in the professional animal training world for 35 years. I specialized in elephants and exotic animals . I learned operant conditioning at an early stage in my career and was able to use this knowledge to improve my understanding of training theories and applications in training for more humane results.

I agree with the other reviews that this kit is complete and was put together with real some real indepth thought behind it. The DVD is so easy to follow and the pieces almost self explainatory in the way they snap together.

This kit is super for parents just wanting to interact with their children. The kit would be wonderful also for teachers wanting an in classroom project. A Shrine Hospital treating kids or a day care could easily have a mascot for the children and teach the fish for fun as well as entertainment.

Where I see the real value in the R2 Fish School trainig kit is teaching adults though. I know many adults would think they are beyond a fish training kit .In my years of teaching and consulting on behavioral modification in the Zoo world I could have definately used this kit to expand peoples understanding of operant conditioning and learning theory. There seems to be a new wave of people involved in what is known as clicker training . There are some trainers even holding seminars to share these techniques. One noted expert has newcomers to the field of operant conditioniong train chickens so the students can learn the theory and application hands on in a class room. The fish could replace the chicken and is easier to house, clean and care for in many enviorments than are chickens.I know you can get more reinforcements into a chicken but each of these animals has its individual benifits to training it. Training this little fish demonstrates most of all that animals can and wil learn with out physical coercion. No bridle or bit, no choke chain or leash . Just you your intelect and the use of positive reinforcements to accomplish a wide range behaviors you never thought a fish could do.

If you want a fun productive, interactive, and worthwhile training tool this is it.It is not just for kids.

You clicker trainers out their interested in this R2 fish kit may take note. This kit does not have a clicker included .Those of you who would want to use this to teach adults could use a slight single tap on the side of the glass when pressenting a food reinforcement . This taping noise association quickly would replace the clicker as a secondary reinforcer or bridging stimulus.

Do not be surprised if you see this in the Sea World gift shops soon.

Got mine Friday....already trained my Betta to swim through the hoop....Tunnel trick next. The DVD and manual are really easy to understand. The DVD is actually very entertaining....I'm sure my Betta won't be as successful as Comet but we'll give it a shot! The parts are very well made and well engineered. I recommend this product to any fish lover...its also great for kids educational & fun. My son can't wait to participate in our nightly training sessions!

R2 Fish School

I purchased the R2 Fish School to explore the possibility of Animal Assisted Therapy. With the advancement of microcontrollers and sensors it'll be possible to setup a tank that is interactive and gives feedback.

I've gone through a two year program that teaches you how to train your own assistance dog. Shane and I graduated four years ago and I use operant conditioning to improve upon current skills or teach new ones that we need.

I think the greatest benefit of the R2 Fish School kit is that it removes barriers of learning positive reinforcement that happens when you try to train a dog.

* Even though 90% of our dog's communication is through body language, we assume they understand full sentences, and get frustrated when they don't. We don't expect that with fish.

* We expect that dogs have the same learning curve as us, and get frustrated that it's ten times greater or that they'll chain together behaviors quicker. We don't expect that of fish.

* It's easy to get physical with the dog to put him in the right position. Can't do that with fish.

* The hardest thing for people to grasp about operant conditioning is that the animal is the operator, you are the vending machine. When the animal deposits the right change (behavior), you dispense the treat. You're forced to do that with fish.

If you want to become a better dog trainer, fish will help you get the techniques of operant conditioning faster. In my mind the cost of starting for scratch with a brand new tank, fish and R2 Fish School will save you a lot of frustration.

As other reviewers have pointed out there is a lot of value in the R2 Fish kit.

* 45 minute DVD that shows you the training techniques. Father and son Dean and Kyle Pmerleau developed the kit and Dean leads you through the process of using the kit and training the behaviors. Kyle provides comic relief to breakup the segments.

* 32 page booklet on how to use and assemble the equipment.

* Large Fish School Platform with holes to plug in the equipment

* Compact Weighted base

* Feeding Wand

* Feeding Wand extension

* Five 4.5 inch post

* One 6.5 inch post

* Two 5 inch Uprights with holes to create a goal post or limbo bar

* Cross bar for the upright post

* Expansion hoop connector & tubing so that you can create a variable size hoop for your fish to swim through

* 3 inch sheet of plastic to construct a tunnel

* 5 inch sheet of plastic to construct a tunnel

* Tunnel mount

* Two 1.5 inch tunnel straps

* Two 2.5 inch tunnel straps

* Retrieval & placement tool with a hook

* Retrieval & placement tool with a net

* Three different size soccer balls for your fish to push into the goal

* Soccer goal

* Soccer Goal Post Clips to help guide the ball into the net

* Football designed so that your fish can pick it up.

* Three different size fetch rings for your fish to retrieve

* Slalom Adapter

* Basketball that floats on the surface so that your fish can make a basket

* Basketball hoop with suction cup so that the hoop can be placed near the surface for the basket ball.

A lot of thought went into this kit. An example is the goal post clips that guide the soccer ball into the net. Without them the soccer ball could become trapped between the goal post and the training platform walls. It's important that you plan your training session so that the animal doesn't get frustrated. The goal post clips are an example of this technique.

I had known for a few years that it was possible to train fish, but had never taken the time to do it. Dean & Kyle took the time and a lot of thought and care went into the design of this kit. Operant conditioning isn't a way to control your pet, but a way of communicating.

My assistance dog Shane was considered un-adoptable by both the humane society and the Labrador rescue group. Everyone who adopted him found him to be too wild and demanding. But he passed his temperament test for the assistance dog school, he was given to me by the Labrador rescue foundation and I was told I couldn't give him back.

Operant conditioning saved his life and improved mine. I know from experience that if I had this kit back then it would have helped me get the training techniques faster.

I was given a goldfish from the fair a few months ago, and decided to try out the kit. It is amazing how quickly he learned and actually being able to interact with a fish. This kit got me so impassioned about the little guy that he now has a huge well maintained pen, four tank mates, and a much more engaged and responsible fish owner. All four of the goldfish (one is a black moor) do tricks now and through teaching the tricks I have learned about each of their "personalities". I am leaving the community tank behind for college, but I may buy a cichlid or bring one of the fantails with so I can have a real college pet and because the trained fish really are a hit with my friends.

DC SMALL MEDIUM BIG NO ANTI BARK DOG TRAINING SHOCK COLLAR

DC SMALL MEDIUM BIG NO ANTI BARK DOG TRAINING SHOCK COLLAR1) It works.

2) It is not a Bark Terminator III, it is a knock off, but it works.

3) The instruction refer three times to a diagram, there is none.

4) They sent a diaod, but did not say what it is for.

5) The isntruction talk about the mic behind the strap, but that is not the way the strap goes, that is how you can tell it is a knock off.

6) The electorids looked very large, but once I put it on my dog, it made sense. It fits on both sides of the front of the throat.

7) Because of the way the straps go, the mic can get a few drops of drinking water in it. Not sure how that will effect the long term use.

BUT IT WORKS!!!!

Recommend starting out on a low setting and dialling it up. I started on a medium, and had an instance when she was howling at a passing siren. And got caught in a yelp and sock cycle. Just need to dial it down and sit with her to calm her down.

This was an isolated instance, and I still like the product.

This is a useless piece of junk! Went off randomly when the dog wasn't even barking and scared the piss out of her, literally. Don't waste your money on this junk, you get what you pay for. The fact that the box and instructions were in such poorly written English should have been a hint. Went straight to the garbage, it is not safe or humane for any animal.

I was first introduced to this brand through BarkBox, a subscription company that sends you a box of various pet-related items each month. My dog loved these treats! I like that they are natural and grain-free treats as we try and feed our dog the best treats and dog food due to her being prone to itchy skin. They are also made in the US and the first ingredient is... chicken! (not any of those other fillers) They are also a tad bit moist which is great because my dog doesn't like dry treats. There are plenty in each bag and I feel that they last a good amount of time to justify the price. For training, I usually tear them in half (they are soft enough to do that) and they last even longer that way. Would recommend!

Dean & Tyler DT Universal No Pull Dog Harness with Service Dog Velcro Patches, Black

DT Universal No Pull Dog Harness, Service Dog, Black, X-Large, Fits Girth Size: 37-Inch to 47-InchI suggested this product for a client a service dog lab puppy who is ready for a long-lasting service dog harness. It was important for this puppy to not only look like a "real" service dog, but begin practicing obedience downs w/ weight being pulled against him. His training will be for a young boy who has "walking seizures" which essentially is a term to describe partial seizures which cause him to walk/run away. The service pup is being trained to maintain a down during this time to "anchor" the boy with his mom.

Anyway, with all of the different D-ring placements, the ability to swap out different patches as necessary, the handle, and the sturdy construction, this is all around a MUST BUY!

My only complaint is the sizing. A small was ordered for this 45# dog and the strap that goes between the legs from the front is TOO LONG. It is on its tightest fitting and is still too large, even though the girth strap is almost completely extended. I called and spoke with the manufacturing co. got the measurements. I don't know of any breed which would fit these types of dimensions. I tried this on my 50# 2.5 yr old APBT for sizing and still, on the tightest center strap setting, it fits perfectly around his wide chest (strap which is parallel to ground), and doesn't fit in the girth (even though his measurements do). I have ordered it for him with the strap extension piece.

So, if you are looking to buy a professional grade harness with multi-point connections, this is your harness! HOWEVER, I suggest to go one size smaller than you think you need and get the strap extension.

It isn't easy to find a reliable harness for a Newfie, much less find one that works well, is easy to adjust, and gives a degree of control. This does all that. And it has rings placed around to hang ID from, or even hook up a longer harness to pull a wheelchair or shopping cart. Two thumbs up!
