I use this for my dog when we go out. This way she stays close. Shes not a bad chewer, just when very bored. She mostly pulls at it because its not long enough for her to lay down when I have it clipped somewhere like a shopping cart. The leash works well for what its designed to dohowever I think it needs to be noted that my dog has left tooth impressions on the leash.

I did contact the company about making a custom length as I felt a leash that was a few inches longer would be better. They said they would make it but would charge the price of a full length leash. As each leash is "hand made" I thought this was excessive since they would just cut it longer.

My GSD thinks it is his job to chase all deer in a sixty mile radius. This keeps him from getting away from us on our walks.

What a great leash for training your dog to walk close to you. The short length conditions your dog to walk by your side, and even at that length you're able to walk w/ a "loose leash". The longer versions of this leash may not do so well, due to the flexibility. Truly chew proof, except for the replaceable handle. Convenient clips on both end of the leash, perfect for tethering. A little on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for.

We have a big dog, I mean BIG. He chews through everything. He kept destroying leashes so I got one of these. He definitely cannot chew through this and if he eventually does it will be a long time from now and definitely worth the cost.

Can't chew through

will attach to most any standard leash

comes with a basic handle

well built, seems extremely durable.

Some Cons:

Limited lengths.

length makes handle not very practical (even with the longer option), attach to another leash instead

something about the coating makes my dog think it's one of his toys and he actually chews this more than other leashes
