I got Lupine products as a last hope when my two puppies repeatedly chewed through collars, harnesses, and leashes. Since they had the replacement guarantee, even if the product is chewed by your own pet, I figured that while the product may not be made of steel like my puppies need, at least I might save some money. The products I ordered were so cute, fit well, and strong. My puppies' teeth were, as expected, stronger and I quickly was taking advantage of the guarantee. That's when I realized how wonderful the actual company is. The paper with my information did not make it into the package. After a quick email, they acknowledged having recieved it, put the replacements into the mail immediately, and gave us a recommendation for a product to treat the collars/harnesses with to prevent further chewing. They also said, if it gets chewed again, they'll gladly replace the products again. The company has been helpful, kind, and patient, and I will be buying many more products from them, and recommending them to everyone. No complaints whatsoever. Lupine is the best!

Wow. Just received the collars today. I ordered 3 altogether. One in the 1 inch size, and the other two in the smaller 3/4 inch size. They are beautiful. They lay well. Have two large D rings, one for the tags and one for the leash. This is very important, because if the tags are put on the leash D ring, it hangs funny at the choker loop, making it dangerous. I just returned 3 collars yday that lacked the second D ring.

Another thing I like about this collar, as compared to the ones I just sent back, is the size of the choker loop. The one I sent back had a huge loop, making it possible to seriously choke. This one, it seems smaller. It ends up tight on the neck, but not choking the "life out" of the poor dog :) I only needed this type of collar due to the fact my dogs (Standard Poodle, Giant Schnoodle and a Jack Russell) have smaller heads than they do necks. With a normal collar, if they back up while on lead, the collar can easily slip off. This collar fixes that problem. Awesome product, as the lifetime guarantee proves :) thank you amazon and Lupine!

This martingale-style collar is just what I was looking for. My dog is unable to slip out of it, which is the point. I hope that as it becomes more worn and softer, it will loosen more easily. After a few weeks of daily use, it is still stiff enough that ones the dog tugs so that the collar tightens, it will not release again. The color in the photo is a bit deceiving. The collar is a bright fuchsia leaning toward pink, with plum colored flowers. If I had realized just how very PINK this was, I would have selected a different color and style.

We have two sneaky dogs that need martingale collars for different reasons.

Sasha, 22lb, schnauzer mix she backs out of her collar if she wants to go somewhere else while she's on a walk. She can slip out of a harness so that won't work.

Rommel, 20lb, corgi mix he will chew any collar/harness he can reach. If he does get loose he is very hard to catch.

If you go to Petco or the like you can get a plain martingale collar that is an inch thick and not made for a smaller dog. Plus it has no style. These collars are stylish, they aren't one size fits all, plus they have the extra D-ring so it's just like a regular collar. I guess that's why they call it a combo collar. That is something I haven't seen with any other company.

The Lupine collars were highly recommended to us by the head of the Nat'l Bull Terrier Rescue. She said that they were much better than regular chokers and worked well for the stronger breeds. We bought one and were very impressed. It was comfortable for the dog but effective in pulling her back since it functions like a choke collar. We did have to manually release it a few times (as other reviewers have stated), though I wouldn't say that it was uncomfortably tight on her when it did "stick". The collars are very well made and clearly very sturdy. The design was really nice too. All told, I would buy Lupine collars again without hesitation!

Fit the crate well, liked the plush material. A lot thinner than I expected. Product was good, but feel price is way to high.

This crate cover set is so nice! Every part of this is soft and the dark brown color is absolutely gorgeous! My dog is in heaven. Much better than the blanket I was using to cover it before. My only comlpaint is that the bumper part doesn't stay up as well as I had hoped. It has velcro which attaches it to all corners of the crate, but I still find that it slides down a little bit. However, it's not that big of a deal to me. I will be purchasing another one once my puppy stops her teething phase. :)

I have 2 Boston's and they have been getting into my flower bed, eating my trees, and just tearing up my yard. I asked my friend what device he used for his dogs and it was about 300 bucks for a 1 dog kit. I found this one for like 104 but it has 2 dog collars. Out of all the cheaper units I felt this one would be the best of the low end. This is my first training collar that I've owned.

A few things that stood out was water proof, vibrate/sound option and 7 different shock levels vs 3.

I've had this unit now for about 3 weeks and it's been working as designed. I've only used the shock once because the respond well to the buzz. They have been a little better about the flower beds but that's still a work in progress, but it's been I think worth the investment. Before I used the color I tested the shock levels on my had as I wanted to know the power I would be pushing out and I keep it on 2 by default. 5/6/7 pack a nice punch! I think the collar lasts about 3-5 days I've only charged it twice. But I don't have it on all the time. At night the collar is off and off the dogs, but it seems like it lasts pretty long.

Water resistant-been really raining a lot since I got this unit. The dogs have been drenched still works great.

Works for the distance that I've been never had the dogs out of range.

Not really cons but just a heads up. One charger so at night I do the charge, if you don't need them on all the time you can get by but some people would want to have two chargers just to get them charged at once. The collars are ok the are a thick like plastic, I don't care as long as they stay on and the collar does its job. My wife thinks they are ugly but what ever. The collar comes with 2 different sets of prongs so if your dog has thick fur.

No regrets buying the unit, if I had to do it over again I still would buy this unit. I'm very happy with the product, I think it works well and it's a good quality.

The product arrived faster than I thought and it came with a case to keep it in. We used it the very first time and took one dog out at a time for our first time out with it. We found that our animals responded to the shock but set on the highest setting. We are hoping that they soon will learn the warning sound and vibration and won't have to use the shock forever. The shock is not that strong, even on the highest setting but enough to get the job done or it may be that we have two hard headed dogs. This is our first time using it on both of them and they both did well. I would say we are going to get our money out of it. Well done, we will put in another written review after using it a bit more.

Update, I would recommend this product. We had both dogs out again and one shock is all it took and the beep warning was all we used after that. We will be testing the collars every day so that these two 9 month old pups can play in the yard. When we adopted them from the pound we had to tie them out at the farm or just plain not let them out except in the dog run and now they can be normal dogs and enjoy the outside.

I am giving this product 5 stars. We lowered the shock to setting 4 and that will do the trick and we can now let them out of the house (while we stay warm inside) and they do stay in the boundry lines we set for them and only remind them with the beep.

after having this for my dogs for a few months, I can tell you it is the best training tool I have used for a dog. I now only have to tell them NO and they stop what they are doing and come to me. it is amazing how quickly a dog progresses with this collar. I think I have only had to use the "shock" part a couple of times before they realized when I say no, they need to stop and come to me. The only reason I din't give it 5 of 5 stars is that I am finding that after a few months the batteries in the collars are not holding a charge quite as long as they used too.

The range on these are not what I expected, but they do work good for the price. The only other thing is that the collars stay charged for only a few days. Other than that, these are great dogs respond really well and they seem to be waterproof right now. My dogs love the water and they have already gone for a swim with them on and they still work!

These have been wonderful to use while my husband and I have been training our 2 huskies to stop digging in the yard. My husband filled in all of the holes they had previously made about a month ago and we haven't noticed any new once since. I have used harnesses on my dogs for many years. The Dean & Tyler All Weather Dog Harness is the best harness I have ever found. The construction and materials are excellent. I have never found a harness of this caliber at any of the brick and mortar pet stores. I particularly like the small handle at the back of the harness for extra control if needed. I bought this harness after reading the awesome reviews from other dog owners who had 100+ lb dogs with the intention of using it for both walking and running. The first day after our first short jog I noticed a line of matted fur where the bottom strap goes across his belly. I figured maybe being a new strap it just irrated the area a little so we used his regular neck leash for walks the rest of the day. The next day after our jog when I took off the harness and hung it up I noticed him licking the bottom strap. After taking a closer look at it I realized it was blood. Obviously I immediately examined his belly and found that the strap had rubbed his skin so raw that his was bleeding all the way across his belly in the exact size and shape where the bottom strap was.

I've never had any problem like this with any other harness. My dog is completely normal with no sensitivity issues and the harness was definitely put on correctly and not too tight. I'm not a marathon runner or anything and these were both short 2-3 mile slow jogs so it's not like I ran so long that it was bound to happen.

This is going to be my first item ever returning with Amazon so I don't know how easy that process will be but I recommend saving yourself the time and pain your dog could possibly go through and maybe explore other harness options.

I bought this harness for my 2.5 year old Newfoundland who is about 165 lbs. We both absolutely love this harness. It is built very well: strong and sturdy. It also looks very sharp on him.

It is not a harness meant to reduce pulling while walking, but I use it for when he is on a long lead outside. Having a D ring on the top of the harness has seemed to help in keeping him from tangling the rope up in his legs. I will definitely be buying another if this one ever gives out.

It seems to be very comfortable for him and I have not noticed any rubbing or chaffing on him from wearing it. It also has more room for a larger dog of needed, which would be very few breeds.

Dogtra Element 1/2 Mile Training Collar

We purchased this unit over a year ago for a young beagle-mix rescue that was generally well behaved, but would occasionally bolt after wildlife and escape our 1-acre fenced yard. Buried wire fence is not an option, and we tried the "broadcast" devices that transmit in a radius with a collar receiver, but they did not work at all with our topography.

Our dog wore the collar for about a month. She was trained after about 3 days, but we couldn't believe it, so we put it on during the day "just in case." Following the clear instructions and videos available online, we walked the fenceline with her, only using the "vibrate" and gentle "nick" function whenever she would touch the fence. No kidding-after maybe 5 or 6 sessions of that training she would not approach the fence. She was just as bold, happy, and energetic, tearing toward the fence but stopping short.

She has not worn the collar for over 9 months now. She is perfectly behaved, well-adjusted, and (frankly) alive because of this trainer. The unit is also very well built, and the rechargeable battery is great. Plan on leaving the collar on the charger overnight, but we never ran out of juice.

Like most people, I felt spending $200 on an e-collar was a bit much, however I bit the bullet well over 8 years ago and I must say I'm super pleased with my investment. At the time I had a 6 month old, high energy weimaraner. I wanted to be able to train him off leash without worrying about him running away or having to use a long rope. This collar fit the bill perfectly. I would guess that this collar received daily use for the first 6 years and at least 3 times a week after that. In an 8 year period, I only had to replace the battery once, which was effortless (contacted Dogtra and they mailed one out). Possibly I was one of the fortunate ones to receive such a great model, but this one was worth every penny. I finally had to retire the collar due to an unrepairable button, however feel I got my money's worth. I'm hoping this next one I ordered will last just as long and endure as much use.

We've been very pleased with the quality of this remote trainer. It's very simple to use and effective. We plug it in at night to charge and in the morning it's ready to go and quick to get on the animal. The gentle stimulus was just what we needed to reinforce verbal commands with our farm dog, and we saw concrete results in just a few days. We were running out of options to train our large and very disobedient dog to stop jumping up on people. We worked with a trainer to learn how to use the collar and have used it very effectively to train our pup to be more of a gentleman. It has good range, seems durable (the collar has survived our rough & tumble dog and the remote has survived our uncoordinated cases of the dropsies) and is easy to operate though I would definitely recommend working with a trainer to learn to use it so you're using it correctly and humanely. Our dog is a bit of a brute but responds well to the low-ish levels and will return to us using just the vibrate feature. I just wish it held a charge for longer (about 2 days for us).

My husband and I decided to purchase this for our 8 month old German Shepherd. We have a dog trainer that has been great at teaching her basic commands, however, there were certain things that she just wouldn't listen to when the dog trainer was not around.
