I worked in the pet industry for over ten years, and have seen and tried nearly every style and brand out there. I have a clear idea of what I want in a collar.I know most people don't have a problem most of the time with the snap style fasteners, but I just don't trust them--so I always look for metal buckles. I prefer to avoid D rings, especially if that is the only place for tag and leash connection.
This collar is sturdy! I tried punching an extra hole, and it just wasn't working. My Great Pyrenees pup is wearing this one. His hair isn't getting wrapped in it. Even at dusk when I can't see the color of the collar through his fur, and I flash a light at him, the reflector is bright. With the nylon coating, there's no funky dog smell after a rain.

Boomerangtags.com has made my life so much easier. Now all of my dogs, tiny, medium, and large, have the slip-on style tags. No more lost or jangling tags. Plus, the quality is the absolute best and inexpensive too.
