My dog hasn't really taken to this yet. It's smaller than I expected and it's so heavy that she's afraid of it at the moment.

I think I would have been better off getting a lighter-weight frisbee.

Our frisbee dog loves these, either size. It takes some practice to get a good even, straight throw, but our 5 yr old can do it. They do take quite a beating/chewing, but if left alone our dog will chew the center out. Although, even with the center out it still flies. It's also easy on the teeth and gums for catching. Our dog gets bloddy teeth if catching the typical plastic frisbee.

Our Australian Cattle Dog loves the small size of this frisbee. It is soft enough to avoid hurting her mouth and she gets a great satisfaction out of shaking it as she brings it back. More pet store chains should be carrying this item.

You need to look around but this is the best Frisbee type disc on the market. I could not properly exercise my border collies without them. The small once re the perfect size. They are much easier on the gums and teeth then the hard vinyl and they will sail a long way. Don't use them as chew toys. Some sites are still offering them below $6. They have gone up in price with the rise in the cost of petroleum.
