Having purchased NaturVet Quiet Moments Calming Soft Dog Chews at a local retailer, $14.99, I was very happy to find them on Amazon.com for $5.99! I give them to my dogs when I expect them to be under stress, such as vet's visits. The dogs like the the chews and while the chews keep the dogs calm, they don't knock them out...unless the dogs were going to nap anyway.

My dog started out eating them no problem, then he soon got tired of them. It was harder for me to get him to eat them. I am not sure they helped since I gave them to him just before I sent him to daycare. I bought another kind also and he liked them much better. If your dog is picky he may not like these. My dog is picky.

I really didn't notice them calming my dog down or even taking the edge off but she loved them. Ending up using them to hide her medicine

We have an adopted cockapoo who gets very anxious at simple situations-when we're leaving, if his routine is thrown off, anything. These are great for trips in the car and thunderstorms. I have two Pekingese and the get upset by thunder and fireworks. These pills work great! Calms them down and gives me some peace of mind, instead of worrying about keeping them calm. We will be buying some more for the 4th Of July!!!!!
